We asked new pillows, our pillows were small and hard. We got pillows, that were dirty. I took them down to front desk, showed them, they were apologizing about it… until my husband complained. Then they stated it was 'just lent' for $300 a night, I don't care what 'you wanna call it' I don't want anything on my pillow. The manager, Liz, smirked the entire time I addressed this. I would not recommend staying here. I don't feel like I was a paying guest, I felt like the staff could care less what type if service I received for my stay. Thanks Hilton, I know now where not to spend my vacation and money.

Loved the rooms and the view Pools are very kid friendly only up to 4 feet The staff all around was very nice They have ppl that will drive you to the main strip so no need to Uber Lyft Would go again in the future.

This is without a doubt one of the finest Hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I’ve been here many times and I’m always amazed with the staff, public space and the sleeping rooms. I just wished that I could give more than 5 stars….

We had a great little getaway at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort with our children. We stayed in a Dolphin Tower 2 queen suite with a partial ocean view. We used the fitness center and the pools! The view from the rooftop bar was exquisite — perfect setting for a date night!

Staff and the facilities are amazing.

Wonderful beachfront hotel! Rooms are bright and beautiful. Good — you can hear the waves! Not so good, you can hear the traffic below as well The views — spectacular! If you dine at the Boardwalk restaurant — make sure you ask for Travis! He is THE best! Did not love the food but he was awesome. The breakfast is totally wonderful — omelet lady knows what’s she’s doing. The other items we ordered were not good. Pricey? Yes, it really is, but the views and location are made it worth it.

Friendly attentive staff. Location is perfict. Walk to dinning, shopping and the beach is right across PCH. On site amenities are fantastic from the spa, to the fitness center, to the restaurant's; room service is great as well. The view… amazing. Weather you wish to explore, or be spoiled on property, this place will satisfy.

As a Diamond for over a decade, I’ve stayed at a lot of Hiltons. The Waterfront Beach Resort is the best Hilton property I have visited. Service is impeccable. Food is fabulous (We had a room service dinner that could have been served at a 4 star restaurant). Rooms are spacious, well appointed, and most of all, comfortable. We only got to stay one night on this trip. Next time it will definitely be longer. Shout out especially to Mr. Torres the porter. Give that man a raise!

I love this hotel! The staff is always so kind and friendly. The rooms are awesome and you cant beat being across the street from the beach. The design and layout is great too. Can’t tell you how much this staycation was just perfect for our family and “mommy and me” get away. All staff is professional, friendly and just plain awesome. I walked over to the Hyatt next door and honestly there is no comparison. Hilton Waterfront is much nicer, spacious and as their name says it “waterfront “ views. We travel to many Hilton resorts and this one is one of our favorites. Definitely coming back. Thank you Waterfront staff. You are amazing!

Beautiful resort with great views of the beach. Very clean and spacious rooms. When checking in we were not told of wrist bands needed at pool on Saturday. Our keys got us into the pool but then 3 different employees told us we needed to leave the pool because we didn’t have wrist bands. It would have been nice to know this at check in to avoid then having to leave the pool once settled in search of bands.

Absolutely beautiful. Amazing views. Beautiful and very clean resort. Restaurant and room service was top notch. I have zero complaints. There are some beautiful hotels very close but I will only stay here for every return. Just amazing.

I have a special spot in my heart for this hotel as my husband and I were married here in 2007. The amenities that have been added since make it a fun getaway with or without the kids. By far though is the top notch customer service through every interaction.

We stayed there with my kiddos and rented a cabana the views were breathtaking and the staff so helpful and friendly my kids had the best weekend ever.

Best Hotel experience we ever had. It wss beautiful and clean. Great service within the hotel, especially at "Henry's" Restaurant/Bar. Our waiter, Joseph, was very friendly and helped us feel right at home. We enjoyed having drinks there while celebrating our wedding day. We even stopped by the next morning for breakfast and enjoyed the beautiful view from their patio.

What a wonderful stay! I had an unsafe reservation at another property and the staff here at the Hilton made me feel very safe and taken care of. They even upgraded my room! Beautiful views of the ocean and thoughtfulness washed away the stress of the day. This is my second time here and I will not stay anywhere else for my future trips. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality and peace ☀️

We had a great time at The Waterfront beach resort in Huntington Beach. It was our first trip to this beach and we had no idea what to expect. The location is awesome and the staff is very friendly. We just wished that the hotel restaurant had more options on the menu, it’s a bit limited. But, you can take a short walk and find a ton of places! The hotel store came in handy for us a few times. Upon checkout, I left my most favorite sweatshirt in the room in a brown bag. I know I left it there because I took a few pics with the kids and I had it in my hand before leaving the room. Probably set the bag down. So I realized this half hour into our drive home. Called the hotel and they were very nice about it and offered help, but somehow it was gone. I’m assuming the cleaning staff took it. I know it was my fault to leave it, but it left a bad note with me. I’m usually very good about not leaving anything, but somehow I did and it was taken. So just don’t leave anything and you’ll be good. Great hotel and would recommend to anyone.

The Waterfront Beach Resort Hilton is ideally located on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach. The hotel was recently renovated with an upscale beach theme of course. The staff is so genuinely friendly and so helpful as well. I had dinner there and it was an amazing experience. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you.

The hotel itself was very nice. The pool was fun. There's a water slide which kids will love. There is also a sand section in the pool deck area, even though the beach is across the street. This hotel isn't inexpensive. They are doing a lot of construction, so some areas weren't open. We didn't eat at the hotel, so I can't talk about the food. The reception staff and pool bartender were friendly. I wasn't too impressed with the overall friendliness of the hotel. I've stayed at places where the housekeeping is super nice. At this Hilton, the staff (from top to bottom) seemed to be in their own world unless they had a reason to interact directly with us. They weren't rude, just not friendly. Struck me as odd in the hospitality service, especially since we paid a lot. For the location, maybe I'd go back. For the service, I'd check out another hotel in the area.

Had brunch at the restaurant. It's $55 per person, a bit less for kids, and it's very good. Comes with bottomless mimosas. Wide variety from seafood, breakfast items, as well as roast beef. Inside and outside seating, with an ocean view. Near the pool but it wasn't distracting. Highly recommend.

Great hotel! The staff are very accommodating, The pool was nice just a little small, and our room was very clean and modern with a beautiful ocean view. The construction was not loud at all except for later on in the day. Housekeeping is great and the hotel provides you with anything you need for the beach form towels to chairs and umbrellas. Austin was very understanding that we needed more space and split us up in two queen rooms. I can’t forget the beach it was the best part, we had two bonfire days and he hotel supplied us with wood, matches and chairs for just $15 dollars. The beach is across the highway which is no big deal. I will definitely be coming back to The Waterfront Resort in the future. Twin dolphin tower and Huntington tower are both awesome, I stayed on the 12th floor of Huntington tower.

A pleasant stay at this nice hotel. Decor is lovely and modern throughout. Very clean and comfortable rooms, despite construction still going on. No noise, no dust, no inconvenience due to construction. Check-in was a bit disappointing, as I waited for a call to be notified about my room being ready. The call was never made. Digital key wasn't activated until I asked for it a second time. Pool area is nice but service is a bit slow, as servers seem to be a bit distracted. In the afternoon it gets very busy and they apparently can't keep up with cleaning the seats and side tables. That being said, many thanks to the chef at the poolside restaurant for being very kind and accommodating in regard to food allergies. Overall a nice stay but service can definitely be improved in several areas.

My wife, 2 year old, and missed met up with our friends at the pool. The valet service was spectacular. With validation, it was only $3. The workers were extremely polite without being pushy or too uptight. The food by the pool was reasonably priced and was "out of bounds". My son destroyed 5 chicken fingers. The poolside service was as expected, phenomenal. All of the staff was enjoyable. My only issue is beer selection. It's 2018 and we're in SoCal. Let's ramp that selection up.

Disappointed in the loud jackhammering and construction outside my balcony. This construction is part of a renovation the hotel is doing and within their control. An ocean view is worthless if I can’t hear over the incessant noise in the afternoon or when trying to sleep in. I should have been advised of this at room selection time. I advised the hotel staff of the issue and they didn’t acknowledge the problem or seek to remedy it. In addition, the lack of a late check out despite my elite status shows how the Marriott/Starwood brand provides a valuable distinction. In sum, I’m not sure I’d choose this property again.

I liked this hotel in general, but my room wasn't particularly clean. The tile floor was dirty enough that I didn't feel comfortable taking off my shoes. The carpet had a couple stains in it. For the price of this hotel, I would expect that they take care of the basics of making sure the room is clean. But I did like some of the small touches like the delivery of chocolate to your room every night!

Beautiful hotel, lots of amenities, the weekend we were there the bug pool was closed. We went to one of the restaurants for lunch, the service was poor. My daughter in law ordered jumbo shrimp tacos, they were regular shrimp. We waited a long time to even get the attention of someone to get our drinks let alone take our order. Apart from that, it was a good weekend and the staff were friendly.

We attended an event here. The location adjacent to the Pacific Ocean is stunning. The luncheon was exceptional, definitely a cut above the usual hotel "rubber chicken" meal. The little dessert plate was delicious. The mandatory valet parking was only ten bucks — not bad for a hotel special event — and the valets were plentiful and efficient.

We stayed at the end of March during my daughter’s school spring break. We got one of the 1 bedroom suites in the Dolphin Tower. The room was new so it was nice. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom very spacious. We had a beautiful view of the pier and the ocean. We didn’t use the pool as the weather was a bit chilly and the existing hot tub was super small. At the time the new pool area wasn’t done. We do anticipating coming back in October to check out the new pool and the pool bungalow rooms.

We enjoyed the stay there. Rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Service was very excellent. Our room was across from the beach. We got the evening by the fire pit on the beach with s’mores and drinks provided. The person who helped us was super nice and kept coming back to keep the fire alive and provide us with more chocolate. The kids forgot about their electronics and enjoyed the evening.

I love that we had such a beautiful view of the beach from our room. We would sit out on our balcony drinking coffee and admire the view. The staff was very friendly, hospitable, and professional. Concierge organized a bonfire and s’mores for us that added a special touch to our experience. It was a peaceful relaxing getaway to remember.

The Hilton is a beautiful hotel with an even better view of the ocean but has been under construction for a long time. You cannot check in until 4pm which is the latest check-in I've ever experienced. Pool closes at 10pm. Valet parking was $36 for checking in at 4pm and checking out the next day at noon. They had live entertainment in the form of one man standing in the hallway, by the bar, playing the guitar. The rooms were good sized, over $300. They do allow dogs which I am not a fan. I don't want to sleep, eat and drink next to people's pets.

Just returned home from the best vacation! We brought our two dogs with us so we could take them to the dog beach. The staff was so awesome and friendly, and when they say they are pet friendly, it's the real deal. The little coffee shop at the front entrance is awesome as well — — their egg sandwich was the best I ever had!

The roof top bar is gorgeous until you look on the floor. The floor tile is white so you can see stain or food spill on them. The giant TV is facing the sun so it worthless. The bar is small without tv. It has a small food menu mostly fatten fried food. Main bar lounge is small with 6 seats. Somebody forgot sport bar should be huge. The sunday brunch buffet is still small. The quality is good. If they offer more food selection like las vegas, it would attract more customers. The dining place is gorgeous and huge.

All around great experience. Rooftop bar opened the first night we stayed here. Wonderful service and food. The hotel waiting wonderful. The staff were so helpful. It really was a great experience. Once the new pool is done I have to go back. Highly highly recommend. Worth the money!

Really nice mini get away. We stayed in the new Twin Dolphin tower and it was beautiful. This hotel exceed our expectations. We still have a few more days here and we are going to enjoy every second.

The Hilton Hotel was very nice.

Quality showing for a Hilton branded hotel. Bed was very comfortable as were the linens. Bathroom was fine but could probably benefit from an upgrade in a few years. The tub filled up slightly when showering as well. Common areas were recently renovated and were very welcoming. There were not many options (especially healthier options) for the in-room dining menu. Shades restaurant offered a very decent breakfast. The view from the room was very nice.

It's absolutely beautiful and it's walking distance to some great little shopping areas and the beach. Also some really nice restaurants, besides the ones at the hotel. I love sitting out on my terrace having my coffee. I can't wait to checkout the brand new gym! ❤️☕

Beautiful hotel across the street from the beach. Our room had nice view of the ocean and Huntington Beach Pier. 4 stars due to construction and some of the hotel amenities closed during our stay.

Visited for a work holiday party. Very nice hotel and the view is incredible. Food was decent for buffet style, but some sea food appetizers were actually still frozen.

I wasn't a guest, simply DJ'd a party here, however this place rates high on my Swank list. If you can swing the nightly rate, I'm sure you'll enjoy every minute and everything this hotel has to offer. They're still undergoing renovations however that's a very minor issue aesthetically. There's so much to that this hotel has to offer and areas to explore its worth visiting right now and then when they're done.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Our room was on the 5th floor, oceanfront, king studio suite with a wrap around balcony. The stay was very pleasant. The room prices did seem a bit high, but it was nice. The restaurant area looked nice but we didn’t eat there. There is a small shop with miscellaneous items by the pool. Speaking of the pool, it was a decent size and was heated too. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Excellent room and views. Was here for class reunion event. Food was good. Not a large selection on drinks or wines though. Also even with planned event, catering did not have enough tables and chairs set up for our groups sit down dinner.

Really nice place. Prime location — it just looking out towards the beach. Pier is just 1 mile north. Very clean and well. There's a wedding reception area facing the beach/ocean — awesome photo ops during the "magic hour".

Spectacular beachfront hotel.

We love this hotel. Great location right across the street from the beach. Rooms area spacious. The food provided was delicious. Its highly recommended.

This was one of the best hotels I've been at. The rooms were nice, the property was great, but the best thing was the location. We could walk right out our room, cross PCH @ the crosswalk right next to the resort and be on the beach… took maybe 3 minutes. They have remodeled most of the hotel and are almost completed with a 2 year addition to add more rooms and pools. The pool they have now is great already. It's a heater saltwater pool which just is beyond words relaxing. When you go to the beach you need chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and sand toys for the kids (or yourself if you want to have fun). That's all included. Just ask the pool attendant and they supply you with all that… A+. They only downfall is the price. It could be expensive but it really is worth it for a beach vacation. You can sleep with the sliding doors open, feel the ocean breeze and listen to the waves crashing all night long. I highly recommend staying here at least once to just experience it. My wife, 4yr old, and 20month old loved it.

Hilton waterfront upcale beach resort. I just comp for two nights. Excellent location, Pacific Life five minutes away by walking, main street and Duke restaurant about two blocks away. Beach is across, they provide chairs, umbrella, towels and kids toy to take to the beach. Swimming pool is convenient too. They have a room offer cocktail, snack and families movie. Ask the breakfast voucher when check in. Sorry no self parking Daily rate for valet parking is $36.00. No problem in there staff, every body nice and helpful. Our room is clean, one king size bed. Over-all we have fun and relaxing vacation.

I always have a great experience here. Rooms are always clean and smell good! They have changed the interior of the lobby some but I really like it. Valet is always on their game. The Shades restaurant has a great breakfast buffet. At night they light the fire pits which I love. The location is perfect. You can walk across PCH to the beach. Right down the street is Main Street with shipping, ice cream, restaurants, bars, and the pier. If I'm not mistaken the US open is this week. I recommend going to Pete's Mexican food a few streets down from Main Street for breakfast. Oh yeah, and they just build a new plaza right across the street from the hotel. There are so many unique shops. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else to stay in Huntington!

The location is amazing! It's right across from the beach. You can easily walk to it so you can take all your gear. The employees are very kind and helpful. The pool is great. It's not huge but big enough. They are building a new tower of rooms and a huge pool that will be finished next year. They have towels, chairs, mats, beach toys, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc that you can use for free! The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The lobby and rooms have been remodeled and I really like the style. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Local vibe of Huntington Beach is at this hotel. Great rooms and great service. The valets are top notch and remember your name.

The hotel itself is nice, right next to main street HB. The restaurant has great food and a take a chance deal for 5 bucks. You get a random beer a micro bottle of a random drink. I landed a natty ice and a fireball. Definitely a fun surprise to do with a big party. Got a burger and it was anazing. Price is kinda hogh but the atmostphere and view is well worth it.

Superior Service. Good location. Good quality rooms with excellent beds and good bathrooms. We've never been disappointed here. Easy walk to cable cars. Good restaurants within walking distance. We love this place.

We visited The Waterfront Beach Resort for dinner at Shades restaurant. The prices were high but the food was good. We were having a nice, fancy, expensive date night. The service was amazing. I love the view of the beach from the restaurant. We used OpenTable and made a reservation to sit close to one of the two firepits. I definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. They had a live singer playing music. He was really good! We had a great time.

Loving the Twin Dolphin suite! We have been very well taken care of, and everyone has been extremely friendly to us the whole trip.

I'm very pleased with this location. You may want to consider simply getting a taxi to this location because the overnight valet charges are so high. Especially off season, they are quite cost competitive for being beach front. For surfer tournaments expect prices to double. Book and plan ahead! My favorite is the breakfast. $15 for buffet breakfast is a steal and makes friends and families want to come visit you vs you having to travel anywhere.

I got to stay here for work because my company was hosting an event. It's a cosy place and it was well kept. The only thing I was unhappy about was that it's valet parking only… and they charged an extra day on my card, which they fixed. What I loved: — it's across from the beach, perfect for a morning run — Service, if you're waiting in line they'll offer you a bottle of water to stay hydrated. I also did something really clumsy and lost my room key (and I gave them the wrong room number). They were patient and kind enough to replace it with a new one for free. — great view of the ocean — the restaurant inside looked delicious and fatty, too bad I was watching my weight… please check out their menu when you're near there. Venue: Very spacious and the food tasted better than expected.

This was my second visit to this property. The first was for a Hilton GM training class so I thought we may have been getting preferential treatment. However, the whole experience (hotel accommodations, service, location, view, amenities) was so great, we made sure to spend two nights here on our two week PCH family vacation. The hotel once again delivered an amazing experience. The front desk, bellstaff, valet parking, swimming pool attendant, and basically every one of the staff were very friendly, helpful, and most seemed very genuine. The room we had was very comfortable, clean and new-ish. We also called the concierge to reserve one of their bonfires on the beach. While it was expensive, it was so worth it. Having the space reserved for you, complete with chairs and a bonfire valet was great. We did not have to worry about a thing and were able to just relax and enjoy the beach, sunset and bonfire. We loved the large beach across from the hotel and jumping in the sizable waves crashing to shore. This was definitely a highlight of our two week PCH trip.
