This is our second stay at Harbour Inn. We loved it so much the first time, we requested our same room. We love sitting out on the balcony relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view. I always call a hotel directly to make a reservation. The woman who helped figure out what room we stayed at last year was so helpful, as was the man who checked us in and out. Both very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We like that it is located between Huntington Beach and Seal Beach. We will definitely be back.

The room was clean, spacious. The staff was very sweet. The beach was close by and the continental breakfast was delucioys! Great variety!

Anita is a wonderful person to this hotel. She was informative and fun, the breakfast lady was so polite and kind and the housekeepers were kind and detailed. This is definitely somewhere I would stay again and as long as my friends and family promise not to steal my room during my visit times lol I will always suggest it to others. If you are looking for an amazing little boutique hotel with an amazing staff who really cares this is it! Its location has so much to offer. You must stay here!

This was a great place to stay in a safe area and very close to the beach (with good waves). Hotel staff were accommodating and the room was generally clean and had fairly good decor. We didn't plan to eat nearby, so we didn't have any problems, but if you like to access food or a pharmacy, etc. On foot, there's not much within walking distance. There are however, two kayak & paddle board rental shops within walking distance if you intend to use them.

Wasn’t our first choice, but had to stay in a bind. Extremely satisfied with the quality and cleanliness of this place. Can’t get away from the noise of the highway, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Would definitely stay again in a heartbeat.

Really nice little hotel near the beach and on the harbor. Rooms were clean and spacious. Employees really shine and are very helpful. Friendly as well. The distance to the beach is less than a 5 minute walk. However, you have to cross PCH, which is no small feat if you don't go to one of the lights north or south. I recommend not jay walking. You can rent a paddle board or canoe right next to the hotel and explore the harbor. Parking is tight, and possibly limited. Egress isn't bad. There are a few less than obvious restaurants in the area that have good food.

Great location close to ocean beach and marina beach to launch kayak. PCH can be a little tuff to cross tho for ocean access. You can bicycle to some great restaurants too. Staff was great and waffle machine in the morning RULES!

With exception of non working light over vanity, room was good. Very clean and bed comfortable. Good value no frills stay near beach.

Comfortable hotel, and quiet. It's an interesting location, a few restaurants are walkable, and I felt safe wandering down the main drag. Easy walk to the beach, though it's not my favorite beach in the area due to the war ships and oil rigs out in the distance. I'm probably just nitpicking, but there are beaches near LA that feel like "paradise" and those factors don't make me feel that way about this one, though the beach itself is quite nice. Still, for the price I really can't complain, I needed to be in the area for work and finding a safe, quiet, and comfortable hotel where I feel comfortable to just walk out the front door and wander is near impossible in LA for under $150, so anything less than 5 stars would seem unfair.

Excellent hotel to visit. Everything is clean and comfortable. The staff are excellent in presentation and friendliness. I have used this hotel for the past four years and love it. Thanks again BW for an other perfect stay!

The staff at this Best Western absolutely makes this worth through while. Rick Anita in Annie are all wonderful at the front desk. As phone chargers helped us with luggage told us spots to go to. You don't get that everywhere you go the customer service was Incredible.

Great location. Comfy beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Best jacuzzi tub ever! We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The only bad thing is the parking. Very small. They do tell you that they have the same amount of parking spaces as rooms. The view isn't that great but the price is worth it. Staff is great! Beds are comfortable! I would give it an 8 out of 10!

Loved it, spent a couple of nights, kitchen living room and bedroom set up so we'll, I could actually enjoy staying there for an extended amount of time without discomfort. Price is ok. But highly recommend for yourself or family.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Room decor and fixtures need updating. Super comfy pillows, fairly clean room. Located on the PCH, so there is a lot of traffic outside. Balconies available which is really nice. A decent value considering you are a block from the Pacific Ocean and right next to all the beaches.

Friendly staff, amazing location. Right off of PCH and the beach is about 2 blocks away. Accessable to many locations and is very quiet. The front desk staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and are always there if you need anything. Would highly recommend this spot.

Our experience here was absolutely perfect! Annie at the front desk made us feel welcome from the second we entered the hotel. She was very kind, funny and genuine with every interaction we had with her. The hotel we stayed at before this was such the complete opposite that I left there really disappointed in the company (and we are super easy-going people so it took a lot). That was NOT the case here! This place was in such a convenient location and parking was not an issue at all. Our room was better than I anticipated and the staff went above and beyond to be friendly and caring. The hotel is smaller than others I've been in, but it was nice and quiet. One of my best hotel experiences I have ever had! 10/10 would recommend staying here.

This hotel is quite small, but it is comfortable and quiet. The location was convenient and easy to find. The parking is on the 1st floor with the hotel lobby and rooms above it. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They were training new people during our stay and it was enjoyable seeing how patient the management was with the new employees.

We stayed here at the best western as it was the nicer hotel in the area and closest to our wedding venue. However we didn't expect to have the staff there treat us like we were a part of their family. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, sectioned off the entire room where they serve breakfast so my now wife and her girls could get their hair and makeup done and even brought us customized water bottles that had our names and wedding date on them. Our rooms were even close to that area so we didn't have to go far at all to walk back and forth between rooms and the area where they were getting ready. We will always remember this place and how they made our day stress free and we will always remember how amazing they treated us and made us feel so special.

Very short drive to Sunset Beach which is very enjoyable and recommended. Also a short drive to Huntington Beach, which we did not visit during this trip. There is beach access a short walk away. Not many services within walking distance, however the hotel's on-site parking is very convenient. Prices were fair and the rooms are comfortable, and a good choice if you are planning on visiting this area.

We absolutely love coming here just to relax and enjoy. We always end up staying am Extra night, and we enjoy the hot waffles and delicious coffee. This time we felt very well taken Care of because Annie went out of her way to make sure we got the kind of room we wanted. It was perfect!

Excellent staff, quiet rooms for being on the iconic hwy 1, close to the beach and major hot spots. Shopped around and was well priced.

Very pleasant staff (talk with Annie for tips on the area! ). Good clean rooms. Continental breakfast is minimal (room to improve). Beach: short drive to ample parking. Wide beaches with good breeze and few people. Enjoyed the dolphins! Short drive to busy peer, shopping, restaurants, and bars at Huntington Beach. Stay here and visit there. Enjoyed our stay. Will return!

I had a suite with a harbour view and balcony. The view was beautiful and the room was roomy. I like how the room near my room wasn't right next door, which I like alot. I like I had privacy and it didn't hear the people in the room over. The hotel does not provide room service, which I totally understand because there are lots of great resteraunts near. I highly recommend Sams Fish Camp especially if your a seafood lover like myself. Excellent customer service. The only complaints I have are that the bathroom was small and the bed wasn't the best to sleep on. Other than that my overall experience was very pleasing.

Nice little hotel in a great location. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed it a lot! The only problem is their price is a bit high. You could argue it's because of the location, but it seemed obvious that the place was only about 1/2 full. Would reducing the price by $25 increase occupancy?

First off, I would NEVER recommend for anyone to stay at this hotel. Annie at the front desk provided the absolute worse customer service I have ever encountered. I really hesitate to say negative comments, but she was rude, condescending, and constantly repeated that I was wasting her time with questions I had about the hotel and the stay that was booked. The level of customer service was non-existent, and it really was a disappointment. It is clear that this woman, Annie, was poorly trained, did not care to represent that company/brand positively, was very unprofessional, and did not refrain from telling me that I was inconveniencing her. I advise organizations like Best Western to make sure their employees are trained, and emulate best practices for customer service because they are indeed in the hospitality industry.

Annie and Elizabeth provided my family with excellent service both before and during our stay at the Best Western Sunset Beach. I called in on a Saturday and Annie arranged to get me a room for Saturday because of a late cancellation. The rooms on the harbor side are very quite. My daughter left a stuffed bear in the room and Annie mailed it to our home to my daughter's delight. A great place to stay and just across the street from the beach.

We had the Jacuzzi suite beautiful room very quiet very beautiful view from The balcony A lot of nice restaurants close by beach across the street just got to be careful crossing the street 7-Eleven and liquor store close Front desk very courteous and kind next time I'm in Huntington Beach I'm staying there.

The employees are very professional and do not complain about the multiple calls that they get whether it's to bring fresh towels more amenities such as so or lotion and they are very helpful and I have the most wonderful time no matter what city or state I'm in.

I stayed here on a business trip as it was close to where my meetings were located. I was extremely impressed by not only the property itself but also the very attentive staff. They were quick to help with all of my requests with a smile. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely be staying here again on my next trip out west.

I will go back, I recommend this place to anyone people are so nice rooms are clean, great location walking distance to restaurants, stores, luv it.

All light bulbs in the room were missing but it's a great location across from the beach and the breakfast isn't too bad so we stay here every time.

Great location! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had many choices. The only reason they did not get 5 starts was the view of the harbor was more like a view of the green slime garbage dump.

Can't beat this place. The manager is personal and appreciates his place. Right on the beach. Great breakfast. I recommend this place.

This hotel is located in my favorite town in Orange County, CA. — Sunset Beach. Located on PCH, the beach is directly across the street. A sidewalk with nice/clean public restrooms and 24 hour FREE parking runs along the entire length of the 1.3 mile town. All the vintage local restaurants and bars are within a five minute walk, just head north on PCH from the hotel. The front desk people are helpful and know the best places to eat and drink. As a Best Western, I know that this is the cleanest and nicest of all the 10 or so hotels in Sunset Beach and is generally lower in price than staying in Huntington Beach for example. I prefer to stay in this quaint, friendly little town and if I feel like going to Main St. In HB or up to 2nd St. In Long Beach, they are both only a 5 minute drive. I always stay here for the price and quality and the fact that the other hotels/motels in the area do not compare. If your staying in OC, HB, LB, etc. — I highly recommend this hotel for its relatively low pricing, amazing location, amazing beach, and high quality/cleanliness. It's also located on Huntington Harbor so the Harbor View Suite we stayed in had a great balcony overlooking the serene water, million dollar homes (complete with yachts). Next door to the hotel is a Kayak/Paddle-board/Duffy-boat rental place if you want to explore the harbor and see all the mansions. Very nice area, best hotel in town.

The rooms were nice but I was very disappointed that there was no pool.
