Roaches allll over, mainly in the bathroom, a bag full of needles, pipes, string, etc left under the mattress, dirty shorts and underwear left behind bathroom door.

I like to stay in the rooms near the office. Feels less like a motel more like a bedroom.

Looks can definitely be deceiving, as well as other reviews. We were expecting what we saw in the pictures. Updated rooms. Nope. For starters, it took 10 mins for us to get the door to open. The bed was stiff as a board. The bathroom was extremely outdated. The floor was damp and sink was practically falling off the wall. As for heat… Well, you either sweat to death or you freeze. The heat would only work on the highest setting and temperature. We shut it off midway through the night and ended up freezing for the rest of it. The continental breakfast is a joke. Poptarts and bagels. We didn't even bother to eat. Very displeased. IF we ever stay here again, we will be asking for a up to date room. If.

Appeared to be a clean place. The staff was kind. Our room was VERY disappointing because our door would NOT seal. That was disturbing on so many levels! The continental breakfast wasn’t much at all, and definitely not diabetic friendly. (I realize that is the norm! Just disappointing. ) there was one 2-pack of sausage biscuits, the only protein in the room. If we returned I would like to see the rooms to actually have doors that can be locked without much concern someone could easily break in. Also, the rooms smelled like smoke and we had a non-smoking room. Just disappointing.

This was the second time we stayed at this motel this summer (2018). Room was very clean, ac was cold, refrigerator in our room, Wi-Fi worked great, plenty of channels to watch on TV and at $60.50 (taxes incl) you can't beat it. Would definitely recommend Brown's Motel. We will definitely be staying at Brown's Motel when we are in the area. D. Jones NC.

Just stayed there over the weekend and it was very impressive. The staff is so nice. The cost was so reasonable and the rooms were very clean. The cleaning staff does a great job. We will make sure to book a room there when we go back to that area. Very satisfied!

How is a "2 Star" hotel spanking the big chains with 5 star ratings from real people? It's all about value backed up with an awesome staff. Ditto to everything else people had to say good. And the room is AMAZING! p. S. Call them directly they are way less expensive direct than what any site offers.

Clean, real wood accessories. Friendly staff with small breakfast. Locally owned. Not the big chain. Town is so cute. Lots of old architecture and the Ohio river is close by.

The front desk guy was definitely nice and welcoming! But unfortunately the room smelled of must/moldy, the towels had stuff on them and the linens didn't look as if they've been washed.

It’s a great place to stay, friendly staff and clean rooms, only problem is you can sit on the commode and brush your teeth at the same time! But a very fair price!

For a two start hotel it was above what it could've been. The room was well taken care of. Even a free simple breakfast. Highly recommend.

Old fashioned motel that has been very tastefully remodeled. Extremely clean, comfortable and cozy with all the amenities. Friendly staff and great rates. Especially compared to other area motels that are not as clean, are outdated and are charging twice as much as Browns. Glad I followed my gut and took a chance on Browns. Will definitely stay here again next year and will recommend it to friends and colleagues.

Brown's have obviously done some major renovations. It looks good. They still need to some minor things but it was nice and the price affordable. Staff was very accommodating and nice! Continental breakfast great for folks on the move. They need to decorate with some pictures to make it sweet and a little fixing in the bathroom areas. Otherwise I would stay again!

Wow! What a quaint and cute motel. The owner fixed it up and beautified this motel and spared no expense. We have stayed there every time we visit family and enjoy the motel immensely, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend your motel. Thank you.

Stayed here several times now, it is a wonderful little place the staff are great people and it is very cheap and affordable. The first night I pulled in I had my doubts as it looked shady but staying here is very nice and like a home away from home. Next time I am in the area I plan on staying again.
