Very quite friendly staff.

Room was a “suite” although it was far from what I would consider a suite. It was a basic room with a jacuzzi. The room had patio with filthy furniture we couldn’t sit on, and no privacy from the neighbors patio. The fireplace had no directions. The jacuzzi tub was barely large enough for one adult, and took a half an hour to get it to turn off talk about a mood killer. The AC unit leaked all over the fireplace. We attempted to use the communal hot tub and it was DISGUSTING. The water was lower than the skimmer, it was full of stuff (lots of dead bugs and what appeared to be skin) floating in the water that got worse as it ran. I now have an itchy rash covering my torso. For what I paid for this hotel I’m extremely disappointed and will probably not choose a Choice hotel again sight unseen.

The hotel's location is ideal. Easy access to 89 and 179. Friendly staff, nice clean rooms. I will book it again when I go back for a longer stay.

Good location, price is good. But walls are paper thin, you can hear everything. Breakfast. Yes it's free, but not much to choose from. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

Great hotel, clean room, good breakfast, my room had a fireplace, tub jacuzzi, flat screen TV with plenty of channels, even came with bottle of wine. Really liked how it’s close to uptown Sedona, but away from the traffic. Also rooms are accessed from the outside, I hate waking through a lobby and hallways to get to room.

This place is quaint and cute and clean. Breakfast is delicious — on the House — the staff is awesome — very accommodating and the location is PERFECT. It’s far enough from the hustle bustle of the trendy downtown area and super close to all of the attractions Sedona has to offer. I would stay here again!

What a nice place. CRYSTALENA front desk agent was fabulous. Great personality and such a big help. She added a Surprise in our room for our Anniversary. We showed up early and she came outside every 15 min with updates while we waited on the patio. Room was/ is very clean and comfortable with everything you need. We will be back.

Our expectations were exceeded the moment we registered. We loved the location and its proximity to hiking trails. Very clean and well kept property. We will absolutely stay here again.

Visited here for a quick mini getaway. Was very impressed of how spacious the room was. Had a deluxe room, not sure of the specific room name but it had a mini private area and a jacuzzi type bath tub which was nice, as well as a mini fridge. I loved the area because of how close stores and shops were as well as places to grab a bite. Was a little disappointed on the exterior appearance, not sure how if they were in the middle of painting but yeah didn’t look to appealing. Also, the shampoo in the shower smelled like wet dog which was gross. I’m not sure if it was because it was “vegan”? I’m not sure if it could have been expired? But all I know is that it stunk. Other than that everything else was lovely.

This hotel is very clean, comfortable and quiet. Enjoyed our stay! Employees are helpful and knowledgeable. The free cookies were delicious!

This place is a dump. Our room smelt of Bengay we asked to switch rooms and they said no when we asked for a manager they said there isn’t one there. Our towels were dirty. The pool was disgusting and when we told the front lady about the pool she told us there was a net for us to clean it. I did not pay 200 dollars a night for a stinky dirty room and a disgusting pool and horrible service. The least they could have done was get us anew room.

Very nice room. Clean and updated with refrigerator, desk, safe, etc Hotel has pool, nice hot tub, laundry, gym — everything we needed. Very nice accommodating staff. Convenient location.

Very nice property. Did not look like much from the outside, but the room was excellent, especially the private patio, fireplace, and relaxing tub with bath salts. The service was also on point. Great stay!

We usually stay at Pinion Pointe but it was sold out so unfortunately we opted to stay at Arroyo Pinion. We booked a deluxe room which has a king bed, jacuzzi tub, shower, and fireplace. Shortly after coming back from dinner we noticed loud thumping and footsteps upstairs. It literally sounded like someone bowling. The front desk attendant was nice enough to move us, but we still had the same issue. Apparently, the floors are super thin. I value my sleep more than anything. It sucks that we were constantly awakened by guests that were on the 2nd floor. It's definitely not a location that I would stay at again… ever. There were stains on the carpet and the rooms could use some updates. If you do opt to stay here, then opt for a room on the 2nd floor which should solve the noise issue.

The Arroyo Pinyon hotel is a great place to visit of you're looking for a cheaper hotel than most in Sedona or for a hotel you aren't going to spend a lot of time in. It's not bad but about average. The service was very nice, the rooms were very clean and functional but had very weak A/C. We stayed in March and could open a window at night for cool air but this could be a serious problem in the summer heat (neighbors propped door open too). In short, it's okay but if you're looking for a strong Sedona/Southwest feel or high-quality hotel experience be careful.

CALL the desk and ask for any specials/deals, they have better pricing than online or expedia. We stayed here for our first Sedona trip and I can say I'll come back. Everything was up to par and we had zero issues. They even had snacks at registration. Breakfast was good too, although honestly, its hotel coffee, but hey, thats normal.

5 stars from me for a great combination of clean, comfortable, quiet, value, location and room amenities. Not a 5 star resort with fancy spa, restaurant and wine list, but great for what it is.

A convenient hotel on the west side, away from the tourist hubbub. Just as we like it. Easy walking to restaurants. Tub very slippery! I had to put a towel on the bottom for a shower. Great breakfast included. Nice people. Second time staying. Pretty good price deal.

Quaint hotel in a great location. Only a mile from the best sunset view in town and walking distance to a great spot to enjoy a wide selection of wine. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a great night's sleep. Only odd things to know in advance — when you walk into the room, the bathroom sink is immediately inside the door across from a separate room that houses the shower and toilet. Good on one hand, odd on another. You can also hear the doors closing on either side of you and your neighbors running water to shower. You also have to be able to carry bags up stairs as there are no elevators. The workout room has one elliptical and one treadmill. Nothing more. Breakfast was decent. Great place to spend a night if this fits your style. We would happily stay here again.

Outdated and rooms not cleaned well. Sell themselves as having healthy breakfast but I found little that was different from other hotel breakfasts. Hard to get to about rush hour. Beautiful grounds with outside tables.

It is ok. It is a place to sleep while exploring the beautiful area. The breakfast is decent. Staff is friendly and good source of local suggestions of attractions and sights. The parking lot can get tight if they are booked and you come back late.

It seemed like a nice place, the bed was comfy and the room was clean. The lock on the door did not latch and the TV did not work. It was late when we got in and settled when I discovered the TV did not work. I just wanted to kick back and relax. The nice woman at the desk came up to my room to get it working but was not able to. She offered to change my room but I was too tired for that and was traveling with someone in the room next door, so I suggested they just give me a discount on the room. She said she would let management know and they would make an adjustment. I didn't hear from anyone so I called and the woman I spoke to who was also very sweet said that management would make an adjustment. There has been no adjustment and in fact the charges were about $20 more than I expected for a fully functioning room. I'm not happy with the way this was mishandled.

We got in a little early and they already had our room ready for us. Staff was great room were pretty clean and the breakfast was good as well. We will definitely be back!

Great location and helpful staff. Room was on the small side but was fine for this trip. Breakfast was included which was so convenient. You can have a good breakfast before heading out for the day. Will stay here the next time we are in Sedona.

I found Arroyo Pinion Hotel to be very nice. I've done quite a bit of travelling, and usually try to find lodging at reasonable rates. Not only did I find reasonable rates here, but the room was also very nice. The staff was incredibly friendly as well.

The hotel is ok, breakfast is good, some of the staff needs more training. The manager Jerry is very hard to reach. We had a stranger enter our room while we were sleeping. Turns out the night shift double booked our room and issue key to another guest in the middle of the night. Jerry the manager said he would compensate us but we have yet to see it, and be his always off site and the staff struggles to take messages. We won't stay here again.

We wouldn't recommend this place, and regret choosing it over others. We checked in around 8pm at night and waited at least 15 minutes for someone to come to the front. Once we got into our room, it was unbearably hot! Hotter than the outside and after a long day of driving all we wanted to do was sleep. The AC unit was outdated and never got to a good sleeping temperature so we tossed and turned in their uncomfortably hard beds all night.

A bit of an older hotel, but still very pleasant. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel also has some neat dispensers for soap shampoo and such mounted in the rooms instead of the usual tiny bottles. It really helped reinforce that they were trying to be less wasteful. Overall a pleasant experience.

Best little Hotel I have stayed in. Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was perfect too. Would come back in a heart beat.

Arroyo Check in and out eas very efficient and friendly. The beds were a bit hard for my liking however our room was nice. I think a good steam cleaning of the area would make the grounds look much better to drive-in to. All in all we would go back to arroyo.

The staff was excellent; but I believe the property itself is 2.5 stars at best. It's a nice place to stay while you're visiting Sedona… If you don't mind the sound of slamming motel doors.

We arrived much earlier than the scheduled check-in time but they took our phone # and called us when they had our room ready. Great service. The room had a 1 person Jacuzzi, walk in shower, king bed and a patio. Decent amenities but nothing superb. Toilet was a bit wobbly, the door was difficult to close and we could hear the people upstairs walking around. Anytime our neighbors closed their door it shook ours and made quite a bit of noise. Overall a nice, clean, friendly place to stay.

It was a great stay good service. Out side patio was wonderful. Bath tub was indeed a great added touch. Only thing I would say is the AC didn't get cool and it took almost till midnight for it to cool off. We ended up leaving some items of ours there one being my phone charger. They offered to replace it if they couldn't find it. In all a good place to stay.

Upon checking in we were sent to one room that had not been cleaned and the second room had guest in the room. We were downgraded from a king suite to a room with two queen beds for my husband and I. The staff was not friendly, helpful, or even apologetic about the inconvience. The rooms are poorly maintained and the photo's on the website are not factual more fictitious. We will not be staying here again and we will not recommend this hotel.

Room was nice and quiet and the location was really nice and in a good spot. Right around the corner from shopping and tourist sites.

We stayed June 6 & 7. The bed was great and room was clean, but had to call front desk at 10:45 PM because it sounded like a herd of elephants above us. After a miserable night, we requested to be moved upstairs next morning which the desk clerk did. It was a significant downgrade on room, but no difference in price was available. The pool and spa were totally unacceptable. When we and some other guests asked the desk clerk to please do something, he got very "irritated" and said that the pool was not in his job description. He came out and tried to use a leaf skimmer… we suggested turning on the filter and his answer was "that might be a problem ". I guess filtration system was not working. Gross. The website pictures must have been taken long ago… it is now run down, needs lots of attention. For the price, go somewhere else!

This hotel is located on a major thoroughfare in Sedona. Upon arrival, our room was upgraded to a premium room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and contained a jacuzzi tub, and fireplace and an outdoor patio. The beds we were very comfortable. The hotel provided a "welcome" basket of water and snacks. The rooms, grounds and pool area very clean. Because the pool is at the front (roadside) area of the hotel, it was very noisy from road traffic.

We got a great deal starting in this cozy hotel. The property is small so it's quiet and we got all the attention we needed without getting too much when we didn't want it. Free breakfast is better than most!

Stayed for the Sedona Marathon. Short walk to the start/finish line. Comfortable rooms and close to everything, but far enough from the crowds. Would definitely stay here again.

Spent the weekend at Arroyo Pinion, and had an excellent time. The staff was friendly, the area beautiful, and everything was peaceful. Only thing I world complain about was the bed was slightly uncomfortable. For the price I would recommend this place for any stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Arroyo Pinion Hotel during our visit to Sedona. While we didn't have a great experience, I appreciate the staff following up with me after our trip and ensuring that we receive a full refund. Overall, I'm a satisfied customer.

We recently stayed at the Arroyo Pinion Hotel as a group who were in Sedona for a wedding. The staff went out of their way to make our stay a memorial experience. Upon arrival we had a roses in all of our rooms which was a wonderful welcome. The hotel isn't a large high rise but a quaint hotel you expect in Sedona. We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the waffles! The breakfast attendant advised us as to where we should go to have a great view of the mountains and the local restaurants as well as directions.

This was an average motel. My family had a comfortable stay. The lobby, grounds, pool and room were fairly clean. Room doors open to the outside parking lot, not to an interior hall. Free breakfast was very limited and not appealing. Not really worth the price we paid.

I've stayed here a few times and always had a good experience. Rooms are clean and large, They allow dogs for a modest fee, and the staff is very friendly. Would recommend to anyone.

Very nice hotel for price, good continental breakfast. Only three stars because of mold noted on bathtub caulking, needs recaulking, a big detraction for me probably wouldn't return because of it or recommend a stay here, too bad otherwise nice place.

It was not a $190 a night hotel. Had the potential to be but it is filthy. They need to deap clean their rooms and their floors. Breakfast was good and staff is nice.

Two night stay. Nice and quiet location. Room was comfy with fridge, microwave, Starbucks coffee, cable, and wireless internet. Great breakfast, exceeding the typical continental breakfast they advertise. Very friendly staff.

We spent our spring break with family and were amazed at the new look to the rooms! This hotel went thru a complete facelift and a nice new name change. Very snazzy and chic appearance to all furniture and interior look. From speaking with the wonderful friendly staff, this hotel is in process of more renovation for the lobby, breakfast area and exterior. They have taken a break as they are in bustling busy season now. I hear also that as part of the renovation, they have a new expanded breakfast buffet area and they are working on a new menu for the breakfast and I am looking forward to the experience come summer! This is our favorite getaway and I am certainly staying here again.
