Awesome hotel in a beautiful area mountains, pool, things are a little odd with Covid in the area but there was actually hardly any people in the hotel we got a great room on the seventh floor with a wonderful view. The lady at the front desk was super knowledgeable friendly and outgoing.

They are dirty and disgusting. My wife and myself went for the "Romance Package" and stayed a night thinking it would be nice. What we received was a room that would embarrass Holiday Inn not to mention the rooms actually have a seal on the door leading you to believe that it is clean and spotless … we found it dirty with disgusting old clothing stuffed onder the sink counter in the bathroom … disgusting stains on the furniture and bed with dirty bedsheets AND I had to argue with manager and threaten him with a lawsuit in order to get him down to the room to look at it. All this and we were told that we would have free food catered to the room along with a bottle of champagne … all for 250.00 for the night … what we received was this and a bad attitude from the manager and the staff … we never did see the catered food either. The manager did finally comp us the room 100% but this obviously should never have happened.

Because of my job, I visit this location on a regular basis. The staff here is always so friendly and accommodating! Linda and Donna are amazing! Always a kind word and a smile! Beautiful renovation. Moved from Tucson recently after a 10 year stint. Had to return for family business… oh how I miss Tucson. Loved the hotel and the staff is great. I highly recommend it.

EDIT2* I can't give the resort more than four stars at this particular point, simply due to the unfortunate experience I had. However, I will say that the managerial staff has been extremely professional and supportive, and I've really appreciated their dedication to making the matter right. *EDIT* To everyone, I want to add an addendum to my current review and indicate that Amber, the general manager, was very quick to reach out to me and is working with me in regards to this matter. I appreciate the prompt response and professionalism. I don't wish to add to the cacophony of negative reviews that is the Internet, but I feel compelled to do this as a public service. If you find yourself in Tucson, please, DON'T STAY at the Hilton Tucson East. At least I f you value your possessions. I was staying with my friends this past weekend for Camp Fangamer expo, and we checked our bags at the front desk at noon on the last day of the convention. I had to leave early, so I picked up my bag from the front desk. We were told there was an issue with accessing the safe and we would have to wait. But other than being slightly inconvenienced, we gave it little thought. When I got home later that day at around 6:30 PM, I discovered that my Nintendo Switch (along with five games and the carrying case they were all in) had been stolen. Additionally, so had my bottle of cologne.

Beautiful hotel. The bed was very comfortable and I liked the linens they use. Nice TV and lots of space in the room. Not a big deal, but I don't like the bathroom set up. All fixtures are in the same room. It's nicer when hotels have the sink/vanity area separate from the toilet. There is a coffee shop on site that serves Starbucks coffee.

This was a very nice venue with very nice staff. The woman at the desk took time to change our rooms to put us closer together and the bar and restaurant staff was raised accommodating. I highly recommend this location for anyone passing through.

This Hotel had had a 180 degree makeover. It was a wonderful experience from the room, service, and most of all the restaurant and bar. A well crafted and executed menu, fabulous drink selections, and wonderful. I wish I could remember the name of the restaurant manager because he was polished and attentive to not only his guests but most importantly his staff. This is my favorite place on the East Side, hands down.

I was at a large convention this weekend and Hilton Tucson East was the worst stay I have ever had. Staff was nice but new owners or managers did not honor a contract or try to make us happy. Continental breakfast was awful with burnt muffins and crunchy dry pastries. Plus they ran out of food well before the time frame for breakfast was advertised. The room we had our conference was so ice cold people were bringing towels and blankets from their rooms to try and stay warm. The banquet did not include salad or rolls that had been agreed upon with the contract because it would be too expensive. We spent 3 days at this convention but our stay was miserable. I would not recommend this Hilton to anyone.

The hotel was nice. Very very clean and tidy. The service staff was wonderful! However, The Hostess at the restaurant is pretty much worthless. I was here 5 days and she spent more time on her cell phone talking about her Lexus than she did caring for the customers.

I was impressed with the service, the food and the venue. The service was fast and friendly, the food was excellent. The ballroom where they held the brunch was clean, bright and was not crowded. I was very satisfied with the entire event. Thank you.

Nice hotel and room, They offered a courtesy van for outings for dinner both nights I was there. Two different drivers and both very nice and safe drivers. Quick to come and pick up after meals. The breakfast was nicely presented. Overall very pleased with stay and will stay again.

I’ve stayed here twice. The first time was fine, no complaints. I booked this hotel for my second trip to Tucson thinking that I would play it safe and stay at a hotel I had been to before. The second time was terrible. I was on the 2nd floor close to the elevator and restaurant. Noise was absolutely ridiculous! I could hear every word the couple in the room next to me was saying. Quite irritating when I was trying to get work done. Doors were slamming all night long. I was exhausted and did not get more than a few hours of sleep for the duration of my trip. I will not be back to this hotel.

We were excited to stay here initially and check in was pleasant. The check in clerk was pleasant and switched us rooms after confusion. Upon entering our new room the sheets were filthy with yellow, brown, and black stains on the sheets. After letting them know right away they sent someone to change the sheets and we got breakfast vouchers for the next day, which tasted no better than a free breakfast at any other hotel so I'm glad we didn't have to pay $16.95 for it like they normally charge. Then the shower was barely warm and when we requested someone to fix it, nobody came that day. Again the next day we requested for it to be fixed and someone came but it turned into a 30-45 min repair with drilling and water all over the floor. When we asked to speak to a manager about our stay we were told there is none on duty on the weekends. We had hoped for a newly renovated hotel that it would have been cleaner and things in working order. * As an update, we are still waiting for a manager to call us, like we were told one would when we checked out. It has yet to happen and probaby never will. So no, we weren't satisfied when we left but I'm not the type to pitch a fit so we asked for a manager, we were told there was none on duty and one would call us, and we believed them and so we left.

We visit often for staycations and I can hardly wait to go this year. I attended the Grand Reopening and I must say the designers did an awesome job with the whole open restaurant and bar area concept. Gorgeous renovation! Rooms are also nicely redone. That chaise lounge in the king size bed room is a perfect reading nook. Atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. Nice continental breakfast area too. Food samples were amazing in taste and variety.

Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I didn’t sleep each night I stayed due to the loud AC units in the room and the light shining in from the hallways. I had to put a towel to block the light. I could also hear people in other rooms going to the bathrooms (peeing and passing gas in the toilets). The hotel plays loud music in the hallways all day and all night. I’ve never been so exhausted from lack of sleep. Switching to the restaurant, the wait staff will act like they are so busy and there may be 4 people eating at once. They also don’t understand how to properly take an order. If you don’t think you can remember the order, you should probably write it down. I ordered a specific omelette and an entirely different one came out. I returned and my almost-correct omelette came out without cheese. After all this, they charged me the buffet when all I had was the omelette I ordered from the menu. They are quite expensive too. The food is pretty good. The location is great for a large conference just not to actually stay and sleep. Find another location because literally any place would be better than this place.

I had a nice stay here and when I visit Tucson again it would be nice to bring my family and stay here. My room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. It's newly renovated and they were doing some more minor renovations. The view is spectacular. The shuttle service is nice and will take you and pick you up within a 5 mile radius of the hotel. There are many stores and restaurants within walking distance but at night the shuttle is a great option. The ballroom and meeting spaces were very nice. I think the computers available for guests are great because they had an Apple AND an IBM compatible with a printer.

We met some friends for breakfast and enjoyed the continental buffet and coffee with a fabulous view of the Catalinas ♡ Our waitress Louise recognized us immediately and was friendly and attentive. We love the cleanliness of the hotel and the attention of the staff. The large parking lot makes it easy to meet there. Recommended for events and conferences ♡♡♡♡♡ 5 hearts!

This is a sort of out of the way Hilton for what I'm used to. It's an attractive foyer. The room that we had training in was sometimes too cold. And it was difficult to get control of the lights for are overhead presentations. I would recommend that the facility allow presenters to control the lights from the room. One nice thing was that I was able to request non dairy options for coffee service in the morning and for lunch items. This was a bonus.

Was a great stay the room was clean with a great view of the mountains. Loved the two types of coffee that was complimented in the room very tasty. The bed was comfy and spacious me and my wife really enjoyed the space of the bed, we could both really lay how we wanted without being on the others side. The showers we're very nice a spacious as well with decent sized shampoo and soap. Would stay here again for sure.

Remodel is beautiful! I am a retired florist and wedding planner for 30 years. I am so pleased at the update. A beautiful place that I now come to lunch and dinner there woth friends and family. Bravo Hilton!

The Hilton was under pretty major construction. That wasn't mentioned when we booked a room. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time or given a discount of some sort. All the electricity went out for awhile one day. No microwave, no fan in bathroom and the fridge was in a drawer and not plugged in. We had to drag it out of there and plug it in where their was an outlet. No complimentary breakfast — they had a menu and you ordered and paid for the meal. No ice machine on the fourth floor that was working so had to run all over to find ice. Just not a very convenient place to stay. Would not recommend it although the bed was comfortable. Will find another place next time we go to Tucson AZ.

Avoid at all cost. We had the business Christmas party here. They were not ready or set up at the agreed time. Complementary cocktail was champagne cool aid. 2 gallons for 190 people. They did not honor any of the requests that they promised. Food was raw and the "molten cake" was uncooked cake batter. Spend your $12, 000 dollars elsewhere.

Hotel room was clean and quiet, with comfortable beds. We didn't get room service at all, one time because we didn't want it, but others because it seemed that we were always on the end of the day of their schedule and just wouldn't be convenient. The hotel is under construction, so there was a lot of noise, but I presume that will be better once they are done. All and all it was good.

It's a great place. They keep it clean, it's under construction right now in the lobby but it looks like it's going to be much better. The breakfast is decent and each day offers some variety such as breakfast burritos, blueberry pancakes etc. Temperature control work great and I had a wonderful mountain view. The room was cleaned each day to exceed expectations, overall it's a great stay.

Even though the first floor is under construction, checking in was easy and the hotel was clean. The rooms were great. It is a long walk in from the parking lot but the beds make it worth it. I did not get a chance to use the pool or the restaurant. I could see plenty of people enjoying the pool. Also the restaurant seems busy enough. The staff was friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

So I thought I had found a good deal on a Hilton hotel when I saw Tucson East at just over $100/night for a Friday, Saturday stay. It was last minute as my girlfriend and I decided to get out of Phoenix for a couple nights. Being last minute I called the hotel directly to book the room. Upon our arrival around midnight Friday the hotel was under a major renovation. I understand construction and remodeling are large tasks and do create inconveniences for the hotel and the guests but a little heads up would have been appreciated. Beyond the construction going on, this hotel wasn't even close to the standard of the Hilton Hotels I have stayed in the past. This hotel was dirty run-down and unkempt. The trash and ashtrays at the (temporary) rear entrance looked like they hadn't been emptied in a few days. The doors were never secure open 24hrs for anyone to come and go as they pleased. I won't even guess how long it had been since the carpets in the hallway and room were cleaned. Guests had left trash, in the hallway and near the elevator waiting area, that didn't wasn't picked up for quite some time. Overall this was a poor example of what Hilton hotels usually offer even considering the renovation in progress. We were very disappointed in our stay this past weekend.

The service is awesome! Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and considerate. I gave a 3 star because they don't include any sort of Continental breakfast. I could have reseved a less expensive room anywhere else in Tucson and received that much. Come on Hilton, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Shame on you!

Had a really nice stay at the Hilton Tucson East for a family member's wedding. We spent a few nights here and even had the rehearsal dinner in one of their banquet rooms. The hotel was very nice, but there was some construction going on that was a little inconvenient. The staff members were all extremely friendly and we received quite a few recommendations for what to do and where to ear while we were there, which was very helpful. The breakfast in the dining room was kind of ridiculously priced, so I would recommend going out for breakfast. The pool was great and the shuttle to local restaurants really helped since we didn't have a rental car. Great visit overall!

Great Hotel! The staff and customer service were amazing and went above and beyond to help! The grounds are beautiful, there's a hiking trail right outside, and there are nooks everywhere in the public areas to sit and read, talk, or just relax. If I'm ever in Tucson again, there's no question this is where I will be staying again! Thanks for making me feel welcome!

Service is good. Room is nice. Bathroom is a little small and there are almost no electrical outlets to use. Gym has free weighs, in house restaurant is good too.

Stayed here for business. Pretty much the perfect hotel for business travel, but they also have families around and nice outdoor patio/pool.

I really like this hotel, it's close to the mall and many restaurants. If you're visiting for a fun weekend, it's a great location and beautiful hotel.

The hotel itself is lovely and the staff is very accommodating and kind. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. There is a quaint exercise room and nice pool area with a small jacuzzi. However, I think that it's a bit silly that at this type of hotel, where the price per night is already a pretty penny, the rooms are not equipped with so much as a microwave. I would have been far more impressed if the rooms came with at least a mini fridge! Also, offering bottles of water at $3 each is ridiculous. The prices at the bar and restaurant were also surprising. I don't consider myself to be necessarily cheap, but there is a line where you cross into the absurd. I would have been far more impressed by the little things the hotel had to offer, like say a complimentary continental breakfast, but such things must be too trivial for such a grandiose establishment like The Hilton.

Overall I enjoyed the Hilton, but one major thing annoyed me. On my first night, at 1 am, the fire alarm went off and the fire department didn't show up till around 2.

This hotel is old and in dire need of a update/makeover of their so called Executive rooms… very disappointed. Not impressed at ALL. Bathroom extremely small. Informed front desk of the soap scrum on the shower door. They never clean it. When making the bed in the room all they did was pulled the cover over the bed. I itched all night because they didn't shake the sheets… I was very disappointed ìn my so call Executive room which required key access for the floor… Tucson Hilton located on E Broadway!

Great clean rooms. The hotel is different with a unique layout and a attractive lobby. For the money paid, was hoping for a fridge in the room but had to resort to icing everything in the bathroom sink. Also, skip the breakfast scene here. The contenintal was sub par and the menu option was awful. (cooks in the back do not know how to cook potatoes! I had no idea raw potatoes were so sour! ) Overall, comfortable hotel but the "bang for your buck" factor on a one through ten scale — — 4.

Staff was very polite and courteous except during dining. The hotel is very dated. The bedding is not what you would expect from a brand like the Hilton. The front desk staff and bell staff are very sweet! They are what makes staying here ok. The room is no better than the extended stay! Pillows were very old and out of shape. The rooms are also very dated and the shower is very tight. I kept bumping my arm. The breakfast buffet was awful! It was absolutely awful. It reminded me of a nursing home cafeteria! The food and service was just beyond awful! And it's a $20 buffet! The service at the buffet was equally awful! DO NOT EAT HERE!

Great stay. Good pool and drinks. Only downer is that the rooms don't have refrigerators. But overall great place to stay.

The hotel is good, the breakfast was also nice, very friendly people, has a small pool and a jacuzzi. It is close to the mall. In general all very well.

While certain aspects of others' reviews had a grain of truth, they were harsher than the reality. I spent 3 weeks here, and came back for another 3 weeks, making sure to stay in a higher floor to alleviate my main concern (nose from other guests… not really the hotel's fault).

We stayed Halloween night and the hotel had put up decorations which my girls loved. Everyone was very pleasant and made sure to acknowledge you as you came and left. The rooms were clean. The only drawback is the parking lot, if you get there late you have to park far from the entrance. Overall good experience.

When we first checked it all was well. Friendly front desk! After being in the room a few days the air went out they replaced it. The next day or so the hot water in shower was luke warm the sink was 10 degrees hotter so they moved us across the hall. Gave us free dining that night in the resturant. After being in the new room a few doors the ac unit blow up room filled up with a horrible smell. We called front desk night manager came up helped us move yet to another room. He was super awesome! He gave us free breaksfast the next morning… After being in the room a day or so I am watching TV when what do I feel and see crawling up my leg a mouse… Went down to front desk they came up set traps to caught the mouse. The next day someone from sales called they didnt make us pay for the whole weekend. Gave us free breaksfast buffet for a week. We decieded to check out and move someone where else. Some of the serving staff for buffet is horrible. We waited 45 minutes for food we never got and all the server said was have a good day. We will not being doing business with this hotel again. The front desk staff is awesome. Our house keeper was great! The night manager awesome nice young man! The sales office needs major work. You let clients go that were going to stay until Oct then turn around and stay another 3 months with my work. I advise do a mouse bug water and ac unit check before you get settled!

My husband and I booked and prepaid for this hotel for three nights and four days for our anniversary. We had never stayed at a Hilton before and we thought that it would be nice because the "Hilton" name was well known and supposed to be "well polished. " It was everything but. Our first night we noticed that our air conditioning was not working and was very loud. Our room never went below 78 degrees and it sounded like the helicopter affect in our room. We went to go spend some relaxing time in the spa and my husband had to scoop the bugs and bees out before we could get in. Then to find out that you could not sit down in the spa because it was in bad shape. It literally hurt your bottom to sit down on the steps. The next morning we came back from an outing and we wanted to spend some time by the pool. Come to find out that the pool is surrounded by plants and trees that attract bees and junebugs. We spent a few minutes dodging the bees and bugs while putting our stuff down on the table. We walked over to the pool and shortly realized that you could not see the bottom. As we were talking about the bugs and the pool we stepped in on the first step and continued to dodge all of the bugs from hitting our faces and decided that this was not the relaxing vacation we were looking for. Not to mention the landscaping was a far cry from something nice to look at. They had trees and bushes that were over grown, weeds in the rocks and in the grass.

Not up to Hilton's normal standards at all. Entire hotel needs a very thorough cleaning; it was disgusting the amount of dust on the walls, ceilings, vents, and baseboards. Further, the stains on the walls needed a good scrubbing. Hotel housekeepers did not have any extra toilet paper or kleenex. We went across the street to the CVS to buy our own. Ridiculous. Significant lack of electrical outlets in the room so you're constantly having to switch your phones, ipods, etc. To take advantage of the 1 easily accessible outlet or unplug lamps to accommodate electronic device charging. Outlets in the wall were loose and looked like a shock risk. Furniture has seen better days. Quite a disappointment and I have investigated other hotels to stay at on my next trip to Tucson.

I walk in thinking everything would be ready, but it wasn't the front desk employee Liz, gave me a room, where the AC was just blowing warm air. I asked if something was wrong she says did you check your AC, I ask to speak to the Manager she says someone will come up to fix it. The person who is suppose to fix it then says, can I put you in another room? I'm tired my hands are up, and I just say yes. I walk down to my car, and the Manager yells, oh you scared me, in a packed lobby. I've never been so embarrassed in my life. Disabled Veterans stay away from this hotel. I guess because I have a limp when I walk that's scar, Sorry ma'am I'm a combat disabled veteran.

Employees suck, comfy beds, nice hotel, bit old but the staff suck. No other word to describe them other than clueless. I got a reservation for a king bed, okay get to hotel they try and put me in 2 queens, no idea why this is, I said no, so now im on the executive floor, the shower breaks, they move me 2 floors lower, never upgrade me, never say sorry, nothing. And this happened at 2 am, the water wouldn't shutoff so I had to wait for a service guy to fiddle in my bathroom in the wee hours of the night. And then to top it off I needed an "escort" to get back to my room on the 6th floor bcuz it was the executive floor and they had already moved me in the computer. What a joke! and im a honors member who has stayed in hiltons for more than 3 weeks within the last month. Dont come here, go some where else.

This hotel impressed me. The restaurant is not cheap, but it's super convenient. These other reviews made me laugh. 1970's architecture? What drugs is that guy on? Who cares about the architecture of a hotel! If you can't find the breakfast, you are retarded.

Really rude front desk staff, no free breakfast (even mediocre hotels offer this! ), ugly rooms, worn out architecture and design, ice makers run out of ice, bars are waaaaay overpriced. Rooms have views of dumpster, empty washes and scraggy vacant lots. No shade available in the parking lot. Executive suites with balconies are bland cement boxes with your grandma's ugly backyard furniture. I won't stay here again and definitely won't recommend it to anyone.
