Very disappointed when we arrived here. Exterior of the buildings were dirty, there was an open trash can 10 ft from our room that was full, stunk, and was there for the duration of our 2 night stay. There was cigarette butts, litter, and insects crawling all over. When we entered our room the floor was soaking wet from just being mopped. The interior was generally clean and there were some renovations done there. But after our 1st day the bugs started coming inside the room. My wife used the shower the first time and scalded her hand because the hot water was way too hot! The outside of the buildings of this Motel 6 need a total overhaul. As for the staff they were nice but very unprofessional. There was a young girl at the office who sat on the countertop half the time I was in there. And the 1st day we were there someone had spilled coffee on the middle of the floor… it was still there at the end of the day. I don't blame the staff that was there, the blame is with the mgr/owner and their lack of improving the appearance and overseeing day to day operations. Obviously we will never stay there again or recommend it to anyone else.

Front desk was very nice, as we entered our room it didn’t smell clean, the trash was full and then the next several days it went downhill, the housekeepers daughters were knocking on doors then as we opens they were going downs the stairs laughing. Then my daughter was taking a shower as I was next door chatting with my other daughter and grandkids, when I return and the beds are made. They entered the room while my daughter was in the shower. I let the front desk know. Then later they went in again a got the towels from the bathroom when we returned my daughter noticed that her make up was scattered over the counter and then she decided to check her purse and noticed that there was check missing. Then as we left on are final day we noticed that we have left an expensive pillow that My mom left so we called right away. They said they would hold it. So it’s an abou 5 1/2 hr drive. So I would call every other week to make sure it was still there I told them that I would see when I can get there, they said no worries it would be there. So I called on Thursday to double check if it was still there and now they can’t find it and they said someone picked it up. In which I spoke to family member that was supposed to pick it up and they stated they haven’t had time due to the funeral of their dad and her son being in the hospital at the same time. I was told they hold items for 90 days it’s hasn’t been 90 days.

Room was next to some sketchy people. Next time will be looking for a different place to stay. Room stated No smoking, but room had cigarette burns on blanket. Recommend, bring your own blankets.

This motel was one of the best motels we have ever stayed at! The rooms were nice and clean! The staff was excellent and always made sure we had everything we needed. I was outside while they were cleaning other rooms and they took out every piece of linen and replaced it with all brand new stuff. Then they stayed in each room cleaning for at least 30 minutes and it smelled so good just walking by after they cleaned the room. The pool was nice and clean and it was just an overall great experience for us and our 4 children will definitely stay again and recommend to all our family and friends!

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The walls are very thin and could listen to the normal voices conversation of the people in room next to us. Honestly the biggest downside was the pillows lol they use those tiny little pillows that you just can't get comfortable with.

We made a last minute booking, tired after a long day's cycle. Front desk staff extremely friendly kind and helpful. Recommended!

We stayed here as a last minute decision since we didn't want to drive through Salt River Canyon because it was dark and we were tired. The hotel room we were in had been updated and was a good size. The price was right due to it being a last minute decision. It proved to be a good decision to stay, since there ended up being a wreck in the canyon. We will stay again if met with the same circumstances.

Generally a pleasant experience. Room could have been cleaner specifically the floor needed thorough sweeping and washing. The refrigerator froze all my food regardless of the setting. Wonderful location. You need to replace worn out towels!

Very clean and modern interior. Don't let the outside look of this place fool you. Cleaning people went a little heavy on the air refreshener but it wasn't terrible. We had a room with two queens but only one large towel.

I've been blessed enough to stay at hotels all over the world and this one is one of the best values I've ever come across, largest motel 6 rooms I've ever seen, very clean, and friendly staff, cheers!

Quiet, spacious clean room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Room had a small fridge and microwave. We are very pleased with our 3 day visit.

I've almost always had great experiences at Motel 6. Very few times have I been at a bad one. But you're 800 number employees don't listen at all. I told them I needed a downstairs room two separate times. When I arrived in Globe, they didn't have the room and no note was left for them to know I had requested a downstairs room. The operators assured me both times they would make note of my request. So please, speak to your people about this. Thank you.

Used to be an upper end hotel, now taken over by Motel 6. Rooms were bigger than normal, but typical 6 interior, hard bed, small pillows, little furnishings. The section we were in seemed to have several long term residents and did not feel very safe. Okay for a single male traveler maybe.

The rooms are decent but the guy at the front desk (Indian guy), if you call and make reservations he will tell you one price on the phone and when you get there, because there usually isn't any other rooms available during shut down at the mine, he will change the price and charge you double what he told you on the phone. When he is questioned about it he laughs in your face and says he would never have said that… Even though I clearly asked him 3 to 4 times how much my weekly rate would be on the phone and it double when I got to the motel.

Nice motel older but clean. As an older motel it is showing a small amount of aging. Staff friendly and engaging. Conveniently located to restaurants and fast food alike. Exterior well kept.

It is a motel 6. Good value for a clean room while travelling through. After more than a week on the road, the staff was very helpful, competent and provided excellent service.

The service here at motel 6 was amazing. I've been to a few motel 6's and none of them were as clean nor had great service. I am definitely coming back.

I booked over Labor Day weekend. Extremely affordable, very clean! Staff was friendly and professional. Housekeeping was excellent. MANY places to eat.

Great property! I felt at home and I very much enjoyed the feel of this property. The room was large, clean and I wish I could have stayed more than 1 night at this location.

The room was very clean and fresh. Fresh Beds, sheets and pillows made for a good night sleep. Staff was helpful and courteous. Would stay again when in area.

Just recently I accidentally reserved online for the wrong day — I did not realize it until after the fact — — but as soon as I noticed my checking account debited I called the motel immediately. I was informed by Manny that there was nothing he could do — — he cannot credit my account after the fact. I asked if he could give me a room credit — something motels do all the time — — given that I m a loyal customer for over 20 years, and he said no. Now I am out money, and I can't get a motel room this week — this is going to effect my ability to work. I am very disappointed of this treatment of a loyal customer of over 20 years. Reservation was made under Julie Ben although my full name is Juliet benvenuto the erroneous check in date was Saturday August 19 motel six globe. May I have a better response, please. Thank you.

I was very happy with our stay. We thought being an older town it was going to be any older hotel but to our surprise it was very nice and clean and quiet. The only thing that needed some updating was the pool area but still good pool for the kids to enjoy. Everyone we dealt with was super nice and polite. Far better than some of the uppity hotel we have stayed at for sure! I am so glad we choose this hotel and would stay there again.

Just a quick stop first time in June, when other motels were full. Went back in July because of the cost for a quick bed for one night because of the value. Room we had was huge, good A/C. Cost amazing.

Staff friendly but dont waste money on this hotel. It was stinky and found sanitary pad in trashcan. Plus pubic hair still on toilet seat. Nasty.

Just stayed here and it was clean, nice large room and the staff was great! Don't know if was the manager but the guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful and a good sense of humor :) We stayed across the street at Days Inn last time we were in town and it cost me twice as much, bugs were in the room, pool was smaller and filled with screaming kids and the manager was quite rude as others mention in their reviews. Didn't expect much for only $55 per night but Motel 6 was much better for 1/2 the price. We have stayed a few motel 6's while taking bike rides around the state and many have remodeled like this one and are much nicer than they were a few years ago. Most every hotel we stay at has carpet and often there is a damp musty smell and I have always assumed that is from the carpeting, don't for sure? These rooms have laminate floors, no carpet and the first thing I noticed was the pleasant smell in the room. This place is a great deal at $55 and there are awesome restaurants in every direction :) Thanks, we will see you guys again soon! -George.

Basic, nice, CLEAN room. Desk and housekeeping staff are very kind and dog friendly.

We had an excellent stay at this remodeled property. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Good location, pet friendly and surrounded by many restaurants. They even have microwave and fridge in the room which many motel 6 doesn't have. Free Wi-Fi too. Enjoyed it very much.

Great value. The rooms have recently been upgraded and were nice. Rooms were clean and well kept.

It was already 3 trying to check in the dark Skinned desk clerk who later told me she was the manager said it would be untill 4 we asked to change to 2 queen beds and she said it would be another 40 minutes since they had cleaned the kings first since rhoaw sell out faster. We stepwd to the side to talk about it and she sold the last one right in front of us after we asked her to wait so we could talk about it! Asked her who was above her and she says "oh that would be motel 6! "

I had to use the hand towels to clean the laminate floor… my feet were black after I walked across it a couple times. The towels were black afterwards; I hope they can clean them. There was mold in the shower wall panels… gross! And so easy to clean with a little bleach and caulk? Why wouldn't it be done? And no hot water for the shower. The toilet was almost on the ground… really hard on tall people and with bad backs and seniors. The cooler was VERY noisy and turned on and off incessantly. My husband got a little sleep but I didn't get any. The bath door needs the upper hinge tightened so it can close and the toilet water keeps running which is a waste of money. I liked the large size of the rooms and that it had everything we needed and lots of surfaces to set things down. And we really appreciated that they allow dogs. Personally, we never know if a motel washes its bedspreads & blankets or not, so I prefer motels that put a clean sheet over the blanket instead of a comforter or bedspread. The lightweight single curtain was much nicer than bulky layers of dirty drapes in most motels. It wouldn't have taken much effort to be at least 4 stars if they cleaned a little better and kept up with the minor repairs.

This place was an absolute pit. Tiles falling off the wall. Cigarette burns in the blanket. I was disgusted. Fortunately I only stayed there one night. I called three times to get the free Wi-Fi they advertised. The signal was so weak, I never got a connection. They never bothered to call back to see if the I had received a signal. Stains all over the carpet. I could go on and on. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

Stayed at this motel a month ago, and I must say, I got ripped off, when I checked in with my two children and my husband, I was tired and wore out from a trip up the mountain twords Showlow, (nice place to see), all I wanted to do is get in my room, shower, and get some rest, only problem is is there was no hot water to shower, the room had mold along the wall, the room was filthy, there was feces on the wall by the toilet paper roll, when we started inspecting the room for it's cleanliness, we discovered dust, dirt, trash at the head of the bed on the floor, but all this was the least of my worries, when we inspected the bed we found we were not alone! The beds were infested with BEDBUGS! needless to say, we cut our losses, threw our bags in the car, and left we had to go buy cleaning supplies and headed to the next laundry mat to wash all of our items we took in the room! THANK GOD we had not unloaded our pillows, Well we finally got a room at a motel by a sonic restaurant (much nicer) and I we got our hot shower, clean room, and by 2am we were fast asleep! SO BUYER BEWARE, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!, oh and the foreign man that checked us in at Motel BEDBUGS WAS RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL.

Our room was clean and sufficient for our needs. It was pet friendly, and no extra fees. It had a refrigerator, Wi-Fi, and A/C that worked well on a hot July day. The ice machine works well and there are laundry facilities if needed. No frills, but what do you expect for a low-cost hotel.

This was the filthiest motel that I and my extended family have ever had to stay in. Twenty four of my family members attended a wedding in Globe and rented ten rooms for a week end. We all would have found other accomadations after opening the door but there were no other motels open that week end. The topic of conversation when we all got together was how dirty the rooms were and how poor the service was. The toilet in my room had a nice paper tape over the lid that stated "Sanitized for your protection" yet when you lifted the lid there were skid marks from the previous guest. The bowl had not seen a brush or cleaning solution for some time. The list is to long for this space. Suffice to say never again Motel 6. I wouldn't even give it one star but I had to post the review.
