Great place to spend some time while in Scottsdale and shopping and restaurants near by around 5 to 10 miles.

Home of the Arizona Diamondbacks! Fun.

The pool and fitness center were closed due to construction. We reserved the room under the pretense that they would be open. We would have changed hotels if we would have known. Rooms were also smaller than expected.

I wasn’t impressed that guests were not told about the hotel being under renovations when booking reservations. It looks a mess and smells very musty. I’m sorry, but it’s the truth.

Great hotel — great comfy rooms — walk to Dirty Dog bar — great pool and hot tub — great breakfast.

I recommend after all construction is finished, it’s noisy jackhammer going all day. Coffee was good room is clean! Close too lots of restaurants and shopping.

I usually love staying at Holiday Inn Express. However this hotel had everything shut down. Their workout facility was shut down their breakfast area was under construction and their pool was shut down. There was absolutely nothing that the hotel offered.

Enjoyed my 3 night stay. Hotel gives discounts if you have family members in area hospitals such as Mayo Clinic Hospital. Also, free water, lemonade, and cookies in lobby. Fitness center is open 24 hours. Free continental breakfast. Overall, enjoyed my stayed. I highly recommend this location to anyone finding a reasonable price hotel. I will be back the next time I am in town.

Very nice place. Breakfast was above average. Restaurants within walking distance.

Were very helpful, when we booked last minute. Let us have extra cots, at no extra cost. Were even flexible in accommodating us for late check-out due to religious reasons.

Nice, clean, and quiet. For a business trip, that is exactly what you want. The shower wasn't quite as modern as in other Holiday Inn Expresses I've stayed at and there were no USB charging ports in the room. Still, the Wi-Fi was fantastic which easily makes up for that. Breakfast area was nice and clean, and the staff was always friendly. Would stay here again if in the area.

The rooms are clean and it has a great location. Staff is very friendly, especially the sweet lady that does the breakfast! Awesome stay!

Very nice hotel. I was there for a meeting. Free apples in the lobby with drinks, newspapers and lemonade. Staff seems really friendly.

Nice breakfast and dog friendly. Has some rooms with outside doors. Great for dog walking.

Clean room, convenient location. Breakfast included but could have been varied more say to day. Cable went out but was an area wide outage so no reason to blame the Hotel plus we weren't there to watch TV anyway.

Best pool for swimming with kids! Friendly staff; happily let us eat most of their welcome cookies. Close to the rodeo, salt river fields, CrossFit — everything we wanted to do during our one-day visit.

Rooms are fine. Just wish the pool had better lighting/atmosphere to use at nighht.

Clean comfortable and very reasonably priced! Parking lot is dark and not properly lit. Beds and rooms are clean and cozy. Problem I had was no ice, no ice on any floor but the first. No vending machines and no convenience store. I recommend this place to anyone passing through.

This was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had! The hotel staff here was amazing! They truly went above and beyond in making our stay fabulous. Our shuttle bus drivers, John and Derek, were so fun, informative and accommodating. They took such good care of us and were so friendly. The housekeeping staff was so kind. Even the morning breakfast staff went out of their way to help us. We would highly recommend this hotel. Thanks for a great vacation!

This was an amazing stay could not ask for a better one everyone was friendly and nice and helpful. They also have this free shuttle drivers. These two drivers are nice amazing people. They made the whole trip. Their names are John and Derek. They were so nice and helpful also full of information. John gave amazing tours and told cool story’s. He also knew so much history and cool knowledge. Derek was very friendly and funny. He help us find the best restaurants to go to. The hotel itself is very nice. Comfy rooms very homey and friendly place to be. The pool is outside and very nice. All the other staff was friendly too. Highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms are clean they have a great breakfast which is free every morning small fridges in room unfortunately they do not provide a microwave in each room you have to go down and use a community microwave at the first floor so if your staying here for long periods of time for work or whatever it may be that is a draw back.

Cheerful, friendly and involved service staff. Rooms were super clean, well maintained, and fresh feeling. Rooms were stocked with toiletry essentials. Rooms typically include a mini fridge, Keurig coffee machine, and TV with Cable channels. Room AC was on when I first got in, which was really nice considering it was a hot day. The cleaning staff did an excellent job turning over the room, everything was done, and the beds were made to perfection, also restocked everything with some extra items. The location is great due to many places being within reasonable walking distance. The Continental Breakfast included standard breakfast items such as cereal, milk, juice, wide selection of bread, bagals, muffins. Additionally, there was a variety of prepped hot items available to eat as well such as fresh scrambled eggs, white sausage gravy, biscuits, sausage patties, mini omeletts, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, juice machine, and fresh produce. Exceptional service and value for the price. Highly recommend.

We traveled to Scottsdale, AZ 2/2017 for a Holiday Inn Vacation Club visit. First night was cigarette smoke in the room, second night bed bugs at the Gold Dust location, third night 3rd room, new location @ VC. What a great way to start a week vacation! Upon informing HIVC of the situation, their response speak volumes. I never got a response. Buyers beware…. 1 star is required to post.

Very good hotel and well placed!

Each time we have guests from Europe we lodge them in the Lexington Inn. We had nothing but compliments from the Europeans who stayed between 1 and 3 weeks. Stayed two nights in this hotel, quality, discretion and breakfast are noted, the pool is nice and the amp. The breakfast is classic without more.

We spent four nights here and enjoyed our stay. Rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful and were cleaning or maintaining the halls, windows or pool whenever they were not helping guests. The pool was so clean, warm and relaxing. The proximity to a grocery store and places to eat was an asset as well. The breakfast was good and the staff did a good job of replenishing during peak times.

Very polite and helpful staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast buffet could have more fresh options.

Awesome stay! Checking in took all of 60 seconds, and checkout took just as long, thanks to Expedia prepay. Very nice staff that were even kind enough to respond nicely to a 12am pizza delivery by directing the delivery worker to our room. Free breakfast in the morning was very good and had quite the array of food with plenty of seating. Even had biscuits and gravy that were as good as you might find for $8 in some diners. Would definitely go back here specifically if I ever need a stay in Scottsdale.

In a pretty nice part of town. Rooms were fine. Pretty standard. There is a mysterious gold dust suite on the third floor. What goes on in there? I doubt anyone knows.

Slightly off the main dish location, service was accommodating, rooms were decent, Wi-Fi was on the below adverage side.

Best customer service I have ever experienced. The staff here is friendly and genuine. The shuttle drivers are helpful and caring. Breakfast selection is great. They even offer gluten free items. My room was always spotless. Even my housekeeper was friendly and helpful. The hotel is very quiet and clean. Very well kept property. I recommend staying here as I will be for all my future stays in Scottsdale.

Our stay @ Holiday Inn Express Scottsdale North has exceeded our expectations. This hotel is an absolute gem in the heart of North Scottsdale (off Shea Blvd. ), close to major amenities and shopping, this establishment is a must. The passion and care the Holiday Inn Express Scottsdale North staff exhibits towards meeting the daily hospitality needs of their guest is second to none, with amazing service, healthy (and free) breakfast options, and fancy water machines to ensure you stay hydrated in the desert heat, you would be foolish to overlook, the Holiday Inn Express North Scottsdale, as your hospitality destination. From the onboard at check-in, being greeted by Amanda, or the attention and love displayed by Marlin, every morning at breakfast, if you are looking for Five Star boutique amenities at a Three Star price, you need to book you next travel stay at the Holiday Inn Express North Scottsdale. Honestly, can you name me a Radisson, Ramada, Best Western, or Hampton Inn that features, a state of the art business center with brand new Lenovo computers, marble/granite countertops, or fresh apples, cookies, herbal water, or lemoncelloade offered at check-in? Where am I? The W? The Hyatt Regency? An Omni or Intercontinental? No. The Holiday Inn Express Scottsdale North is the only option if you are looking to rest your head and enjoy hiking, golfing, or just leisurely meandering around town.

This HIE is in a reasonable location however in my view it has some serious problems. If you are a NON SMOKER you would be advised to stay away from this hotel. Even though this HIE s supposedly a non smoking hotel. It is also a noisy hotel if you are facing the inner courtyard. The hotel's design is that half the rooms face an inner courtyard where there is a pool and tables and chairs. The rooms facing the courtyard on the ground floor also have a small area where you can sit outside. The problem is that at night people congregate in the courtyard and chat/smoke and as the rooms have the budget model, hole in the wall A/C's. You then can hear every word of their conversation and cigarette/cigar smoke comes in through the A/C. If you complain about smoking, then you receive a nice little lecture on how it’s perfectly acceptable for people to smoke next to your room, HOWEVER as long as it’s not INSIDE their Room! Apparently the hotel management have not worked out the contradiction of Advertising that this is a no smoking hotel and making you sign a NO SMOKING clause on hotel checkin, however it's ok for people to smoke 6ft from your room and chat loudly late into the night! Go Figure! I would heartily NOT RECOMMEND this hotel.

This is the best Holiday Inn Express ever! The hotel is spotless and everyone there were all very kind and professional. Special thanks to Michelle, Tedi, Steve, Rachel and Amanda! My husband really loved the breakfast. We will stay again and higly recommend.

Toilet ran a lot and plugged up. Other wise very clean and and the desk person was very nice. Would stay there again.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a Holiday inn property. Don't plan to use the shuttle service, they left me waiting 1.5 hours on the side of the road, 40% out. Steve at the front desk has the worst customer service skills I have ever seen. I would call and he would forget I was on hold.
