I had not stayed here in years because the last time was awful! I must say I was Shocked when I arrived to check in and I was actually greeted with a smile and a plesaple young lady working the desk. Then once I got to the room… I thought I was in wrong hotel… It Was Actually Up Dated! Hardwood floors updated bath and paint and they finally got rid of the God awful comforters they had for 20+ years! The room did not smell bed was comfy. Still no breakfast… But the genuine kindness and pleasantries from the Helpful Smiling Front Office Staff made up for any short comings! I needed some important papers printed and then faxed… she was actually happy to help me out. She didn't make me feel like a burden… Super Impressed… I will actually come back to this Motel 6 on I-17/Northern! Hell I will even recommend it. Now Remember You get what you pay for… At this location it is well worth the money spent! Long Gone are the days where I-17/Northern are places even homeless don't want to stay… Say Hello to the Improved little Triangle of Hotels!? Moyel 6, Super 8, and Quality Inn. I would not hesitate to have friends or family stay there!

The people who work here are very nice. Rooms are ok just need to get newer bedding, better toilets. They try to keep the place clean and tidy. Sometimes that's harder said then done. But that's pretty much anywhere you go anymore.

Place has been remodeled and looking good still. Definitely keeping up the property. Property is well lite and clean. Nice and quiet. Very peaceful nights sleep. Recommend staying here.

Front desk girl is very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and air is cold. Felt very safe at night dog friendly. Pool is very clean and refreshing.

Stayed at this hotel3-4 nights ago, security was excellent, maids very helpful room was great. Only one problem though met a guest in room 237 named J. W. Didn't catch his last name, he checked out before I could catch his last name, we were supposed to connect on social media. Can anyone help me find him.

I can say even though I stayed here for one night, it wasn't as bad. Seem like it had some recent remodeling like laminate wood flooring, sink, and bathroom. There's an armed security guard which is a plus and security cameras all over the place. I stayed in a room facing towards the center where there was a pool and I can say it was quite noisy hearing the children loudly and clearly in the room. We had Wi-Fi as well. The price wasn't too shabby. The elevator could use some work though. Other than that not bad.

Definitely one of the better motel 6's. Very reasonable rate, clean modern rooms (no carpets! Yay! ) pool, vending and ice machines. Pet friendly with a dedicated dog area which is nice though most guest don't bother to clean up after their pet even though the motel supplies the little bags to do so. Easy access right off I17. Friendly staff too. Would recommend.

The staff was wonderful. I missed having the amenities in the room such as a coffee maker and iron. The location was scary. I arrived around 10pm and used the bathroom to pee. The toilet paper wouldn't flush so I went to speak to the manager. He sent someone with a plunger that night which I was grateful for. The drain in the bathroom did not drain well at all. The elevator stopped working the day of my departure at 5:30am. I was on the 3rd floor and dragged my large suitcase down the steps only to find a woman sitting on the last step and a couple trying to come up the stairs while I was coming down instead of waiting a few steps to let me reach the ground floor. The day before around 4am I woke up to domestic violence situation with loud yelling from the boyfriend or husband who was locked out of his room. It took some time for things to quiet down. I hoped he was hauled to jail and never let out.

Nice clean rooms with good space. No one bothered us from the office. Pool looks really nice and clean. The elevators are kinda scary lol but now that its fenced better from the super 8 it seems much more cleaned up right here than it was.

It was better than the previous Motel 6. But it could of been better. Little disappointed. Needs to be a cleaner. Or the managers need to look at the housekeeping work. Need better training on cleaning.

The Motel 6 Phoenix at Northern Ave is great. The prices are great and affordable. The location is nice too, as it’s not too far from the airport, museum, and several malls and restaurants. I was surprised by the quality of the room. The bed was nice (I checked for bed bugs because I heard they are notorious in Phoenix. There were none). The set up and design of the room was nice as well, and the TV had great selections of channels. The only thing missing from the room is a refridgerator and microwave, but other than that, the room was perfect and affordable.

This place was dirty. The customer service was terrible and we got double charged. Once by hotels. Com and again by Motel 6. I would not recommend this place unless your trying to sell drugs. Plenty of that around here. But you may get robbed. Terrible visit. Hated it.

The only great thing about this hotel is the staff. Every one from the front desk, security, housekeeping and maintenance, that I had contact with were super friendly, and helpful. The rooms are not as inviting at all. Very disgusting, weird smells. Mold mildew in the shower corners. Nasty stains on walls, dust on lamps. Hair on the floor and sink. The air unit was packed with dust and mold. If you can help it, do not stay here. Ever! They staff needs to take their great personalities to a better environment. I had three days booked and checked out after one.

Very difficult location to access, either through the parking lot of an abandoned shopping center or along 1/2 mile of frontage road. Even though I had reservation, the room was not ready until 7 pm that night, due to them being "short staffed" in the housekeeping department. When I asked for a late check out as compensation for the "late check in" the best I was offered was an 11:30 am checkout. Front desk people were not that friendly and lack authority to make consumer friendly decisions.

Normally I love your motels. The Phoenix motel was one of the scariest hotels I’ve ever been in. The front desk warned us the room wasn’t good when we arrived. We decided to check it out as we are loyal Motel 6 patrons. The room was awful. Burn holes the size of salt and pepper shakers. A HVAC unit that looked like it had been hit by a hammer and used as an ashtray! We had requested a non-smoking room! We love motel 6 but this motel should have its franchise revoked. We had to cancel our room because I’m allergic to smoke and she said “well I guess we can spray a room freshener to help a little. ” We ended up having to pay almost $300 for a last minute hotel room! Motel 6 you’re better than this! It cost us money and this motel will tarnish your reputation!

The bed was terrible. The check in was terrible. We had to wait over an hour, but when we called customer service they had our room ready in 15 minutes. We couldn't have keys to our room, and every time we left we had to have a security guard let us in. We called to recoup some of our money, but of course no manager was on duty. Since we didn't have keys we didn't even check out when we left. The right thing for Motel 6 to do is return at least half of our money. We paid $90 to be treated like that. I won't ever go to that motel again. Motel 6 will from now on be one of my last choices of hotels, and I definitely would not recommend this to my friends or family.

My stay here was ok. I stayed three nights because I am a broke young person who just wanted a weekend out with my friends and I needed a quick place to stay. We got there Friday and everything was fine the front desk lady was so rude to us and then the next day I had also booked a room for my friend and her sister but her sister didn’t have her ID so they front desk girl didn’t let us check in. But they still charged me the extra night at 90.00 which isn’t usually what those rooms every go for but I booked it on Presidents’ Day weekend so the prices were up. I can’t afford to just give my money away especially if worked hard for it. I’m sad with this hotel. Very very sad. And it could’ve been good. The rooms weren’t bad but they weren’t great. Lots of ghetto things going on outside and in the parking lot. I’m just extremely saddened.

I would not recommend this hotel. Yes, the price was right but I did not feel safe. The pool was gutted out and under repair. It was obvious people were living there for long term. The rooms were tiny and smelled of smoke and didnt feel clean. I was attending a conference and this location was suggested, I don't know why. There was a lot of shady traffic coming and going; which I know once the sun went down, it was not going to be good. But the staff was nice and refunded my money with no problem.

The staff has been very curious and the grounds were clean. I felt welcome here and didn't feel like I was gonna get robbed or mugged. I have the top floor corner and love it! Very pleased.

Stayed at this location last week and woke up to bed bug bites. Went down to the front desk and they did not compensate me for my room nor apologized about it. The front desk was extremely rude even at check in had me standing there for a good 7-10 minutes before even acknowledging me while they were counting their drawers and finishing their shift change. I stayed at other locations previously and never had bad service nor bugs but this place was filthy. I showed them the visible fresh bites and tried to get in touch with corporate nothing has been done about it so unless you want to pay for bugs do not stay here. Even the super 8 next door is better than here.

The staff is friendly and my room was clean and in good repair. The general area is a bit dodgy but I felt safe because they have a fence around the property and security at night. I didn't have any problems. The building has four floors but they have an elevator so that's nice. The price is great. You can't beat it.

The room was pretty good, large and comfortable. Friendly staff at the desk, who notifies of the mail and they even kept and gave me my package that arrived here after my check out. I liked the large table and a bed too. A little bit noisy (there were some construction works), but the neighbors/other guests are quiet and ok.

On Nov 7, during the middle of my fully paid stay, the receptionist kicked me out in the evening because a room key "bounced" on the counter. (My hands were full with three heavy bags).   She rapidly became more and more rude with little to no provocation. I was shocked while she rashly locked, and checked me out of the room. All this rapidly happened in a couple of minutes.   She did this without thinking about my possessions still in the room. After reminding her that my bags were still in my room, she had a security guard (he was quite nice) escort me like a criminal to remove my possessions.   I never swore, I never yelled but I was becoming more and more upset with how bizarrely, severely and rudely I was being treated. The toll free number Motel 6 customer help was unable to provide help and shared that anyone from hotel 6 can remove a guest without cause.   After to a long day of work, the distress of dealing with rash unpredictable behavior from Motel 6 employee, and the additional time scrambling to locate a new location is the last thing you want at the end of a day. They have lost a quiet, clean, paying hotel guest. I encourage Motel 6 check the mental stability of the receptionist at their Northern Avenue property so as to further avoid losing quality paying guests.

Toliet, sink, and tub all clogged after using it… They don't supply any soap or shampoo, instead they suggest a vending machine where you could buy little tiny overpriced sample shampoo bottles and bars of soap.

Parking lot and surrounding areas clear of drug needles. Management polite and respectful. Fast to address any problems with rooms.

Made Reservations Over The Phone. Check In Was Quick, Front Desk Was Nice & Friendly. Got To The Room & Found The Remote w/o Batteries & Phone Didn't Work But It Was Taken Care Of Quickly. Room Was Nice & Clean. I Would Stay Again For Sure.

BED BUGS AND WOULDN'T GIVE ME A REFUND! I was here for a night, the room was nice and all, until around midnight I felt something crawling on my arm! I quickly noticed it was a bed bug. I made sure to take pictures for proof. I woke my daughter up and she was sit back on her bed. I then saw a bug quickly come out of her bed. I went to the office, showed them the picture of the bed bug, and they said would return my money if the exterminator themself found bed bugs. They changed our hotel room. The next day they said he didn't find anything and didn't want to return my money back.

Best Motel 6 I've been to in a while! Newly renovated, place looks great! Now they just need microwaves and refrigeraters!

We were traveling to Snyder tx from California and this is got to be the worst motel 6 we have ever stayed at. My mother n law got stuck in her room twice! Cops had been there all night, and not so much as a "sorry" for my mother n law getting stuck! They used so much bleach I now have broken out with a rash that I didn't have beige we stayed there.

The room was very small. The toilet got plugged during the night. The light bulb over the sink was not very bright. Could be cleaner. Thank goodness we only stayed one night.

Awesome staff! Felt safe with security. Always clean way better than my stay 3 years ago. Keep up the good work.

I'm discussed on how you're treating people in a time of need. You should be ashamed of yourself calling I. C. E on people after accepting money and giving them room keys. You will never have my business and I'll be sure to stand against you and your staff.

I asked for help with my luggage and the woman that help me put everything on the luggage cart and brought it to my room. The people including the manager were extremely nice and very friendly. I'd go there again.

Nothing wrong that a power washer couldn't fix. The walkways to the rooms very dirty. The mats in front of the room door served no purpose because so dirty. Called the front office because the TV remote was held together by tape and didn't work and no answer. Walked there and three people behind counter. No-one could answer the phone?

Hadn't been there in over a year and was surprised by 3 huge areas of improvement. The check in was quick yet sociable. I wish I could remember her name but she set the Barre for the visit. The rooms have been remodeled. Fresher cleaner look. Beautiful. And the third thing is there seems to be a slightly better clientele. I didn't see any police activity that night nor anything on the property that would make me think there should be. Thank you.

Worse Service ever a Lady had Seizure and just left her there my friend had to help her and they didn't do nothing at all. Then they wouldn't rent me the room afterwards when I had reservations. They were rude after I saw they didn't care about the customers I though I should let everyone know. Then I called the reservations to cancel my reservations and they hung up on me.

My experience at this hotel during my stay was not very comfortable and pleasant, because besides not having shampoo and body lotion with soap in the bathroom, and towels not be smooth, the overall service was not optimal, in addition to very reproachable incident in which Phoenix police arrest me at the hotel during an operation, for no reason for it, just for a supposed mistake, but neither the hotel nor the police made previous relevant inquiries before becoming the injury and prejudice against me, and yet the hotel did not respond in any way, so I decided to leave and change hotels the next day.

This Motel 6 was ok for the price, but very noisy if your room faces freeway. The area showed evidence of vagrancy and causes guests a concern. The room was ok, but small. Can't recommend to families, just singles or couples that are there for sleeping only.

My stay was excellent. The team of professionals — from the custodial experts to the front desk was 100% from start to finish! Motel 6 has certainly become a major economic player in the guest receiving area. Thank you for your exceptional service! :D.

Motel 6 is a dump the employees are rude the cleaning crew are sloppy located in a bad area with a high rate of crime and drugs the cleaning crew are never around when you need them to clean your room I stayed there a month and all I had he stayed with bad events directions and it's hotel's to anyone not even my dog it's expensive no free Wi-Fi they just upgraded rooms and I still look like crap cracks in TVs dirty carpet I would never stayed at a hotel hotel stay in as long as I live I have a breath in my lungs I would never step foot on who is this in a ditch on the streets before I stayed in another Motel 6

Avoid this place infested with hookers and drugs dealers, unless you're a hooker looking to turn tricks or a dope dealer looking to sell your drugs. Walking into the lobby, my first instinct was to turn around and leave as it is filthy and stinks of cigarette smoke, unfortunately I didn't listen. I'll stay in a public restroom before staying at this location ever again.

Not a very good neighborhood, Wi-Fi didn't work. Would not recommend.

I'm presently staying in 1 of their rooms. It's clean, quiet and the staff is friendly.

You have to pay for the internet, which you cannot connect to. Constant noise even after complaining (late night mind you), no fridge, no microwave, hookers hanging off the upper floor railings, burn marks on the tub, understocked towels and soap, they don't provide shampoo or conditioner. Their TV inputs are blocked so don't plan to bring a bluray player or chromecast etc. I really dont have it in me to list everything that sucks about the place. Bottom line, steer clear.

Is it possible to give this place no stars?!? Checked in. Got hell for having a visitor for an hour. Wanted me to pay extra! Got to room (pictures of proof of all my complaints), cigarette burns in comforter, dirty sheets with stains, pillow had visible stains, a/c unit was all cracked, poop or some nasty brown thickness on floor that shoes it was not cleaned (cause it you brushed it, it moved). Literally grateful I brought my own blankets and pillows. I've stayed at motel 6s before and know they're far from perfect but this place was beyond disgusting!

Rooms have been upgraded with a modern look and Im not easily impressed! Bed is nice, price right for 1 night, I travel A LOT, Im also military, Super 8 next door doesn't compare to Motel 6 here and Ive stayed there. Great Job Motel 6! People will be impressed.

I stayed here from 11/4-11/7/14. Great motel 6, had a couple issues but the manager Jesus fixed everything right away for us! Made my girlfriend feel safe and welcome. Do not go to a different motel 6, we have tried them all. This place is the best bang for your buck.

This is a great hotel. One of the best in all az.

Staff was very friendly and polite, room lacks some of the basic stuff that you normally find in hotel rooms such as toilet paper, Kleenex and a Ironing board and iron, bed was very comfortable but the property has lots of low life hanging around pass 2 or 3 in the morning, didn't feel safe.

Ok where to start, checked in after long drive the building was surounded by what looked like World War Z zombies lol the security guard locked in the office explained they were tweekers or meth heads, my morning wake up call was where the Pheonix police kicked in the door of the room next to me for a warent, I looked at my door after the police left and it looks like it was kicked in at one time too when checking out and returning the key I noticed three spots in the front parking lot clearly labeled for Phoenix police use only what a lovely hotel.

Everything ok except for my reserved room door lock crashed and had pack up and move to other side of the building from a single queen bed to a two double bed room. The second night about the same time my room key would not open the door again but after the front desk replaced it it was ok. One thing I must say though I can not believe you charge $2.00 for a 16 oz bottle of Dr Pepper only to have it spray all over the room when opened. Thank you.
