I liked it. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. Probably very similar at most Hamptons, I don't know, I don't usually stay in Hotel/Motels. Reasonably priced and I definitely liked the proximity to downtown.

This location was under going some construction including the out door smimming pool. To their credit management did a good job of making guests as comfortable as possible.

We stayed at The Hampton for about 2 weeks and we really enjoyed our stay. My husband was being evaluated at St. Joseph’s across the street and Chuck was very helpful to us since he was also a regular patient there. He gave us any and all the information we needed to the hospital and also where to shop and eat and really anything we asked he was more than willing to help. Thank you Chuck for making our stay comfortable!

Xavier and Beverley were such blessings to us while we stayed at the Hampton. We were staying so we could be close to the hospital where my Tata was undergoing treatment. I had my baby daughter and my father with me. Xavier accomadted me and helped me to conduct my business meeting and Beverly greeted us every morning with love and kindness as she served up her delicious food all the while, bringing it to our table and making our waffles since my hands were full with a one year old. If the Hampton wants to continue to offer great hospitality, I hope they recognize and reward employees like these who go out of their way to not help out, but they both did it with a smile and eagerness! Thank you!

If you are a fan if Hampton, this is certainly not too bad. I, personally try to stay with Drury Inn any chance I get. They are too hard to beat. However as long as the staff is friendly and helpful, cleanliness and care is apparent, then I normally do not leave a bad review. This particular location did well in my opinion. I would encourage the traveler to always read reviews, look into the reviews that person leaves in general, and make a good solid unbiased judgement on your own. I am very big on reviews for nearly any service I use. How else will we ever know any proprieter's ways of. Conducting their affairs? Just my 2 cents… good in your travels!

Wonderful place to stay. Rooms very nice, breakfast was very good. Personnel were helpful and friendly.

Great hotel, the rooms are huge, and the beds are comfortable! The only downside is that they do not have refrigerators but they do have microwaves, and offer free breakfast in the morning with a cool make your own waffle station.

This is my go to hotel when staying in Phoenix. I love the downtown feel but calm atmosphere. The pool is nice and big, the rooms always working and spotless.

Clean, friendly, quiet. Good Breakfast. Difficult to get to from interstate 10 though.

Clean room, nice staff, comfortable bed. Smallest double queen room ever at a Hampton Inn. Breakfast was as expected, prep lady is nice and attentive.

The first time I stayed here I was very pleased with the large clean room on the 2nd floor. This time we were on the 3rd floor. When the elevator opened I was dismayed by the run down hallway. The carpet looked like a crime scene from Law and Order after the bodies were dragged out. The room was clean but in need of freshening.

Other than high winter rates (the weather is beautiful here) they are a very nice hotel that is very close to the hospital if you need to be there for days and weeks at a time — such as a family member in the hospital or in Barrow Rehab. They have an excellent breakfast and an awesome lady who tends to the breakfast area — she is a treat. The hotel is very clean, they have nice washer and dryers for laundry if you are here an extened time, a fitness center, and the pool is warm for kids if they want to swim. The hot tub is also nice for a foot dip.

Great location. I stayed due to proximity to Dignity Health. Rooms are okay. Lobby is nice.

Decent Hampton with a great staff. I had a bunch of packages (12 totalling 350lbs) delivered the day before we arrived in town for a conference. The staff received and held them for our arrival. The whole process was excellent, a testament to the people at this Hampton.

Very clean and up to date. Plenty of parking. Quiet location. Breakfast was plentiful. The staff was top notch! We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in the heart of park central. People staying here will enjoy a modest outdoor pool and close proximity to various restaurants and coffee shops. The is immediately across the street from a major Catholic faith based hospital.

Good experience. Room was clean and towels were fresh. Breakfast area was clean and appeared sanitary. All around nice time.

All Hampton Inns have the same vibe — as though they are almost a Hilton, but not quite. I find there are much better hotels for that above motel but below big name chain. But if you have points, go for ir.

Very friendly courteous and super, dating staff. I stayed here for an extended period of time while family member had surgery at st. Joseph's Hospital. The Hampton Inn is conveniently located right across the street so I could walk back and forth. The staff at the Hampton Inn or so, dating it made nice day so easy.

Excellent hotel. Staff bent over backwards to make me feel at home. Room was perfect.

We checked in late. The manager, Mary Beth & Theresa greeted us. Theresa was very helpful with our check in. The hotel is close to Dignity Hospital & very busy. We had warm cookies & coffee. Our room was spacious & clean. The bed was comfortable. We do not like the air vents blowing the cool air on us. Finally converted the air away from us with ithe insulated drapes. Came with a breakfast. Would stay here again. Pricey but military discount brought it from $199.00+tax to $118.00 plus tax. What a help.

A good place to stay if you have business nearby. It's very convenient to St. Joseph's hospital — just across the street. But if you want luxury, stay at the Hilton on Thomas. Pros: — Clean — Good rates, plus a discount for St. Joseph's. — Comfortable beds. — Free bottled water (within reason) — Good breakfast buffet. Cons: — Old plumbing. — Nasty tasting trap water. They should install a filter on every cold water tap. — Noisy air conditioners.

We shiwed up at 9 PM after spending the day with our daughter who was in Good Samaritan Hospital. I wasn't concerned about price just wanted a shower and a bed. The front desk staff were wonderful. I received a huge discount. The room was clean and not stuffy. Thank you ladies. And the breakfast was very good. Which is unusual.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around… One of the cleanest Hampton Inn's I've stayed at but as I recall this is a very new location. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful and the location was extremely convenient for me since I was working at the hospital across the street. There are a number of food options within walking distance of this location as well. Only thing I could complain about was the cost. I've stayed in much more plush hotels for what this one ran a night. This wasn't a huge issue for me since I'm putting it on an expense report but traveling on your own dime, it's something to consider.

Amazing hotel. Super clean, awesome beds that are comfy. Price is awesome, breakfast is amazing.

We came during a heat wave but the ac worked great and the staff provided water bottles. If I have any work function near by I will stay here again.

Near light transit rail, $4 for an all day pass. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is amazing. The staff is friendly and the rooms are nice. The Hotel is in a perfect location. It's situated to provide a pleasant bike ride into the Presidia or a nice walk to Russian Hill or Nob Hill. I hate the wharf and pier 39, but this hotel is just far enough away from that garbage that you don't feel like you're staying in a gaudy tourist trap.

It felt like I might as well have been sleeping the hallway. People talking in the hallway just resonated into my room. The comforter had an patterned edge underneath that kept rubbing against my face when I was sleeping. It made no since to have an irritating surface on the bottom side of the comforter. I stay at alot of Hampton inn and so far this has been the worst. However the good thing was that the staff was very nice when I checked in.
