This was just a nice relaxing comfortable place to stay. The pool looked so inviting with the hot weather but I didn't have a bathing suit. On check in the gentleman asked me if I was interested in their complimentary supper which that night was burgers. He gave me a coupon to use. This was just so handy as it saved me from having to leave the motel to go someplace else to eat. I was by myself so found this great. Found out that as a guess you get a free supper every night plus also a free drink from the bar. My last night there I no longer had a car and I was quite happy staying put and eating there. Had a problem with TV and phoned the front desk and someone was there in a matter of minutes to fix. I would recommend this motel and if I ever get the chance to stay here again I would.

Staff and Shuttle drivers were Very accommodating and helpful. Airport shuttle driver helped us get our heavy luggage from the room into the van. and he was a perfect gentleman in helping us in and out of the shuttle. The hotel offers Free shuttle rides to/from restaurants and shopping within 5 miles! This gave us (women) a feeling of security, knowing that our ride back to the hotel was available with a moments notice, and minutes away. I enjoyed the two FREE refreshments in the lounge, and the young bartender was so friendly and kind. I highly recommend this hotel. It was a pleasant experience.

Rooms were really nice and too have our dinner and breakfast taken care of was really great! The staff was very friendly. A great place to stay!

Stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed it. It was clean. The breakfast and dinner was great especially having 4 kids with us. The front desk was a little slow but came through with help. The only thing I didn’t like it I would rate it 5 stars is that it’s like cated near a couple dairy farms so it smelled a little like farm. My family wasn’t desturbed by it at all and it didn’t ruin the experience. Location was great for shopping, freeways and the Mesa air port. And the price was good too.

Clean and inviting decor. Friendly and helpful staff. You have to get to the cafe early for breakfast and 'dinner' since they run out of food.

We stayed here 1 night and went to our car and found it sitting on blocks with all 4 tires stolen. The manager was on vacation and really could not be bothered. Very disappointed in the staff as most made jokes or just tried to ignore what had happened. I will never stay at another best western and if you value your vehicle you would avoid this hotel. There was no effort of sympathy and we felt abandoned after the police were called. They did offer us a discount on another night stay and after a call to corporate that was upgraded to a comped room if we stayed another night, only good at that hotel. There is not a way to post pictures on here otherwise I would attach those as well. Hotel stayers beware!

I'm not sure why this hotels classification is 2 stars. This place is so clean, has a really good free breakfast, had a microwave & fridge in the room (which you rarely get both at hotels! ), And is conveniently located by Mesa — Gateway airport. We stay here everytime we have an early morning flight. Great value! Very friendly & helpful staff. Highly recommend this hotel! Heated pool (not a huge pool, but heated for off season time) and super easy to get to. Free airport shuttle as well. I travel frequently & this is one of my favorites for the price! Can't beat it! The bed is SO cozy! Didn't want to wake up for my early morning flight!

Guy with a large beard wad unfriendly and not helpful. Room had what appeared to be puke on the floor. Location is the only halfway decent thing about this place lol.

The pool closed at 10:00 during our stay, but kids and adults were in the pool and laughing way after this time. At 11, we called the front desk as the noise kept us awake and we had an early flight. The front desk person did nothing after she said she would ask the guests to leave the pool area. We had to call again. Heads up… if the wind is in the right direction, you will smell cattle lots in your room. It was definitely not a pleasant stay for our family.

The Best Western Legacy Inn and Suites is a fabulous place to stay. The weather in Mesa, Arizona was amazing and so was the city. The amenities at the hotel were top notch, including breakfast and the complimentary dinner and drink. There was a comfortable area to obtain sun by the pool! This is a wonderful value for the money! The airport shuttle is amazing! I highly recommend this hotel and I would go back.

I reserved my room and asked for a ground floor room. They gave me one. The room was clean and I had no problems. The free breakfast the next morning was a standard breakfast: eggs, bacon, pancakes & waffles, muffins, and fruit. It was good and we'll stocked.

We used this hotel for an early morning flight out of Mesa, AZ. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. The driver to the airport was very nice and informative. I asked twice at the check-in about how much time was needed to get to the airport and to check-in for our flight and didn't get a good answer so I knew how much time was needed. I wish I had been able to talk to the driver to the airport because she was the most informative person at the hotel.

After a long flight, we chose this hotel, because it was close to the airport and easy to find after dark. Warm friendliness and efficiency greeted us at check-in, and the comfortable room with mini-suite area gave us plenty of space to spread out. Neatness and cleanliness provided a "Wow! " factor, especially during flu season. We look forward to another stay, before our return flight.

I really wanted to like this hotel, but there were some issues. While the rooms are fairly updated, and the lobby is lovely, the view to the West is the suburban blight of an ancient rotting pair of abandoned mobile homes. Why hasn't the property owner worked with the city to have this visible blight cleaned up? Also, it is a very isolated location surrounded by mostly farmland and a huge furniture store. If you are looking for places to eat, or things to do within walking distance, the nearest shopping or dining is a mile to the South. Although the breakfast room staff attempts to do a great job, they are far understaffed for the volume of guests with one lone attendant. The waffle and pancake machines were both non-functional on a Saturday morning and bacon was never available that day at all. In three nights of our stay, we only got one visit from housekeeping. No attempt was made to clean our room on Sunday, after I took off the do not disturb sign at noon. I know there was still housekeeping staff on our floor at that time. I did receive an unsolicited upgrade to a queen junior Suite which made for a nicer stay, and I appreciate the Best Western discount for multiple nights. Mostly the hotel is clean and well-kept although the stairwells had some small trash and mud. Apparently they were short a bartender on Saturday and just left the bar closed and did not offer the promised happy hour at all.

The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. But they smelled like cow manure from a feedlot nearby. Also very pricey. The dinner was some dried out pasta with no meat and dried out, cold breadsticks. Couldn't eat it. But the breakfast was very good.

Location is next to a dairy farm. If the breeze isn’t blowing the right direction it is on the verge of intolerable. Great price but fell well short of my expectations of Best Western. Staff is present but will never speak to you. I chose this motel for the “lounge” which is a few barstools and football game pricing for beer. The bartender however gave her boyfriend beer at no charge.

The overall experience at the hotel was good. Check in was easy, and the hotel was in a good location for what we needed. The room could have been cleaner upon check in — it wasn't horrible overall but the bathroom absolutely could have been cleaned better. Breakfast was good except for the eggs. We would consider staying here again.

Can't say enough nice things! Helpful and friendly desk staff. Clean, classy and convenient to the Mesa Airport.

I had a reservation for 2 queen beds when I arrived the hotel changed my reservation to a one king bed and sofa pull out the day before my arrival (i called best western to verify. ) it did have a sofa sleeper but if my reservation was for 2 queens what gives the right to change a reservation without disclosing to the guest first? the morning before I arrived my card was authorized WITHOUT my authorization, I called the hotel and they claimed it was for a deposit but when I got to the hotel they asked for an additional deposit. My reservation was for a free stay and yet, my reservation was changed and my card was authorized without my consent. Then the front desk girl said my reservation was changed because point stays are only for one king beds. (it’s probably wise not to lie to your guests & by your reviews it looks like it’s in your policy to change rooms types as you please) I had to drive another 30 minutes away for another best western. Lastly, they did not refund my points for free stay and they closed my complaint file stating they upgraded me without charge. So thank you for everything you guys did, really appreciate it :)

Our initial experience at checkout wasn’t exactly what I’d call a welcoming feeling. We arrived about 9pm on a Friday. The check in attendant wasn’t very responsive and seemed like our presence was a bother to him. We were quickly given our room keys and instructions on how to get to our room. The bathroom looked as if it was cleaned in a rush. Hair in various places, the toilet seat wasn’t wiped down, the toilet paper was very low, and the room smelled of cow manure. About 1:30am, someone attempted twice to get into our room. Obviously given the wrong room number. Our visit seemed to improve however. The attendants at breakfast and at the bar were extremely helpful and welcoming. Checkout experience was smooth and friendly.

Nice hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms. Convenient location to the airport we'll be flying out of early in the morning. Reasonable price for a Saturday night.

I reserved a 2 bed room weeks before our stay. I even called the hotel and told them to note that we would be in late. When we arrived and entered our room we found a one bed room. I called the desk and they said there was nothing they could do about it and that their list showed a one bed reservation. Obviously someone had altered our reservation. I had even paid for the room before the trip. Nobody notified us about the change. I have my own personal reasons for wanting the type of room I reserved. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone because you won't know what you are getting till you get there. We only stayed one night (thank goodness), but I still should have received what I paid for be it one or two nights, etc. I did not have the time and gumption to go down and explore the situation further. I find today that customer service really lacks in customer satisfaction with the usual "We apologize for the inconvenience. "

Obviously this isn't the fanciest hotel ever. This hotel is clean and has great customer service. What more can you ask for? Great experience and very affordable.

Easy to find and right off the main road. Got in early morning and the room was really nice and spacious. Air conditioning in this Arizona weather is definitely a plus. Mini fridge and coffee maker inside the room. Bathroom and shower had plenty of room. They had a free breakfast in the morning and my stay compared to other hotels and inns was way above average. Would stay at best Western legacy inn again!

You are greeted at the front by a friendly, competent staff. The rooms are always clean. I always enjoy the breakfast. It's my go to place when I'm flying. Great job, guys!

The rooms are just MAGNIFICENT. Large and clean and the bed is sooooooo comfortable. Staff nice, breakfast was fully loaded with everything. Was able to park my car there while I went out of town, great service. They are located around farming, so you may have times when you get the field (fertilizer) smells around your hotel and it may come in through the AC. If not for that, I think this hotel is up there with high end hotels in large cities. Thanks bunches>

Nice place to stay. They offer a great breakfast and a complimentary dinner on the day of your arrival. I've stayed here several times in the past. The staff are friendly and helpful. I did not give this stay 5 stars since my room was not as clean as previous stays.

The front desk attendant (Jacob) made us feel really welcomed and at home. Each time we saw him he had a smile on his face and laughing. The maid was also wonderful. She also made us feel very welcomed. The breakfast staff were on their toes with making sure everything was available. Everything was very warm and inviting.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Nice shuttle to the airport.

Good service. The towels are pretty worn though. Free dinner and a drink each night is great.

I can't think of anything that could have been better about this hotel! My room was HUGE, clean and nicely furnished with a great little fridge, microwave and the rest of the standard items. In addition to free continental breakfast, they provide a free dinner every night with free tap or bottled beer and wine! The pool faces west so you get sun all the way till sunset. The staff was amazingly friendly… a guy got wasted drunk and threw up in the pool so they asked him to leave the pool, and of course he was quite argumentative, but the manager that was escorting him did an incredible job of calming him down and even carried all his stuff (two coolers and more) for him as he walked him back to his room. The front desk was remarkably friendly, and when my flight landed at the nearby airport (Phoenix-Mesa Gateway), I called them to ask for a shuttle pick up, and before I even hung up the phone the driver was pulling up at the curb. Even the housekeepers were awesome and friendly. It's located kitty-corner from a Circle K that is pretty large with a great selection and a Red Box, and within a mile there's shopping of all sorts including a Target, Fry's, Walmart and plenty of restaurants, all of which are reachable by bus, and there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Holy WOW I was BEYOND satisfied with this place!

Since I was coming in a day earlier than the three day reservation I already had set up, I phoned in to book an extra night. The attendant booked the extra night with no problem. When my family and I arrived there at 2:30 am after driving 27 hours, the front desk attendant said they were all booked and the person who set up the reservation made an error. For the inconvenience, she called a nearby Doubletree Hotel and reserved us a free night stay that Best Western would pay for. When we got to the Doubletree Hotel the front desk clerk was expecting us and let us know that the Best Western called ahead and paid for the night. Well when we checked out of the Doubletree, I was later charged for the room that I was told was covered by Best Western. When I contacted both hotels to clear up the issue, they both denied that we were ever told the room was covered for that night. When we asked for them to consult directly with the attendant who set the free room up that night, they said she was conveniently terminated and we would not be refunded a dime! This hotel is dishonest, and has terrible business practices. What credible company would lie and argue with a customer when they are wrong? I will never stay at this hotel and would not refer them to anyone! Would'nt have given them a star at all if that was an option because they don't deserve 1!

Rooms were clean and spacious, hotel was conveniently located, and the food was good. The customer service was absolutely outstanding, to a degree I rarely see at a hotel. Without a doubt, the staff deserves commendation, and it is due to them that I'll be returning to this hotel.

We arrived here in arizona,. Hoping for warmth and peace! The outdoor pool was awesome… IF YOU COULD, STAND THE SMELL OF THE TWO NEARBY FARMS. I will never… ever… ever… stay here again… the smell creeps in thru the airconitioner… so stinks inside and out… nice hotel… but not the stench.

Arrived and given tickets for 'free wine or beer" and free dinner? No one tending the bar or reception food area for 20 minutes at 5:30 pm when everyone was told to arrive. Finally one guest tired to service the impatient guests and was told, "you are breaking the law! " One guest indicated this was her experience for 5 days in a row.

The Best Western on Power and 202 has a very friendly staff with an incredibly clean interior from the common areas, to the halls, to the rooms. Everything is impeccably clean and nice looking. There is a nice aroma inside most of the hotel that I was in as well.

On Aug. 23 2015 we stayed at this hotel. We had a king size bed with with queen sized sheets… the pillows smelled like bad body odor. Even though they are close to the airport, we will never stay there again.

The hotel was very clean and they had good service. I was very pleaded with the overall experience.

Rooms are nice, a little dark. Had an issue with our room being given to another couple, but it was quickly resolved. Staff is fairly friendly, though not very approachable.

Had a great experience at the best Western everybody was so friendly and made my stay feel really comfortable.

The smell is pretty bad. But I guess if you're reading this review you've read others and you know that by now. There are not really a whole lot of pluses to this location. The fair is cheap but the quality of the rooms and the location are less than desirable. There are new hotels near here that are a better value and have a better smell. :)

Omg it smells so bad you can taste it. Would be a 4 star place if not for the smell. Puke indusing. It's that bad. Foods good, beds comfy, smell is absolutely unforgettable.

The place stinks, literally.

I rented a room and 15 min in I realized it was too loud in the room and I'd rather just continue on my journey. Went to the front desk and let them know they said sorry no refund do to you using priceline to book it I said ok I'll have priceline call you. So they call and still no refund because I didn't give them 24 notice but I booked it 30 min before I got there and I left less than 1 hr from the time I booked it. Don't use them if there's any problem while your there it's your problem not there's and they won't make it right with you. I used to send the people that rented bikes from my employer to them to rest before their trip but no longer. I only deal with companies that care.

This hotel is great for a good nights sleep. Priced comparably with the other lower quality hotels on hwy 60, this facility is new clean and room was spacious. Many great restaurants 1 mile away. I'll be back when working in east Mesa.

Better than expected. Very comfortable beds. Quite room with nice bath. Breakfast was a plus.
