Our room was clean and cozy. Motel staff is taking great care to protect its room renters from COVID-19. The place is pet friendly and has a designated area for your pet to go potty.

Decent enough. Clean room, nice beds, quiet area.

Its cheap which is good but outdated and the pillows were horrible, plus the sheets were not washed, I found hair all over the bed under the bedspread.

I am driving a motorhome, towing a car. They have a huge lot next to the motel with a sign posted that parking was for registered guests only. I went into the office about 11 am on a Sunday and asked for permission to park while we ate at the Dennys next door. They RUDELY told me no. It would not have cost them anything and it would not have hindered their business. The young man at the front desk would not let me talk to the General Manager. It appears public relations is not a priority for them. Poor customer service.

We’re all had a peaceful sleep. Very friendly reception in Morning. Made your day wonderful.

Fit 4 of us just perfectly, rooms clean, pool refreshing, AC kicked in right away, mini fridge & microwave in room, & free coffee in the lobby. We paid $50 for the night. Fair price for the amenities & a nice clean bed to sleep in on our travels across states.

Bed was comfortable. Shower stall was very clean.

I wrote a prior review which was higher, the reason for the change you ask? I have stayed at many motel 6’s thru the years. I have never had a desk clerk tell me “this is not a 5 star”. When I asked if they had shampoo behind the desk as there was non in the room. Then I also realized yes there is a fridge and micro but no coffee maker. There were 2 adults in the room and there were 2 bath towels that were very low grade. I could have lived with the above if the desk clerk did not have such a negative attitude.

This Motel 6, by far, was the best one I have ever stayed in. The front desk attendant was incredibly nice and very accommodating. The room was extremely clean and very inviting when you walk through the door. I highly recommend Motel 6 in Holbrook, Arizona to any and everyone who is even thinking about staying in the Holbrook area!

Good customer service but had to change rooms 3 times due to smoke, mildew, and a funky smell… However when I went to the gym I asked a custodian where it was and she walked me the whole way their which I was very impressed by. Went out of her way.

Nice basic room, good price. Staff at front desk was polite and very kindly made sure we had a ground floor room. In morning we ran late at breakfast and they were awesome about our checkout. The room we were in had a shower only, no tub. Not sure if this is the case in every room or just some. Would make a big difference if traveling with kids.

It was very basic (bare minimum). We were in town to see the Painted Desert/Petrified Forest, so luckily we were pretty tired when we got back and just really needed a place to crash. Room was a little musty when we first got there, but slowly dissipated after we turned the air on. We didn't bring shampoo and conditioner with us because we assumed that they'd supply some. Well. You know what they say about assuming. I wish I would have sprang for a hotel/motel that was a little more expensive, but more comfy. I'd recommend somewhere else, personally. As others have indicated, it is next door to Dennys. We ended up actually driving a little ways down the road for breakfast at Tom & Suzie's Diner. Nothing like a good Ma and Pop breakfast!

This is a basic no frills motel, that being said I found the room to be clean, comfortable & updated. Staff where friendly too. My kids enjoyed the pool and we had dinner in the picnic area. The price was nicely appreciated. … I come to this town every few months to visit family and used to stay at another hotel accross the street, but their pricing has balooned to be almost double what I paid at Motel 6, so next time I come to town I will be returning to Motel 6. Is this place perfect? No, but I think it hits the sweet spot!

Motel 6 has always been the choice for consistency when you are trying save some money and getting a nice room. This was no exception, the room was clean and a bit nicer than the typical motel 6. No complaints except a bit higher price than usual but as I mentioned it was nicer than most.

The location was perfect. Right off I-40 and right where I could make my turn the next day to start down the mountain to Mesa. There was a misunderstanding about my reservation and the guy working the desk wanted to put me on the 2nd floor… advised not able to climb stairs, then there was an issue about my pets. He said that people with pets have to stay in the back rooms. Finally got a room and was able to relax and get some sleep.

Room is kind of small and beds could be a bit better but overall, considering the price, it's a decent place to stay. Staff so far has been friendly and the place has been clean by what I've seen. I think it's just fine for a quick overnight or couple days stay.

Motel 6 is not exactly known for it's class but I have stayed at maybe 4 of them in the past 3 years. The price is affordable and the rooms have a modern feel. This particular motel 6 was at the bottom of the 4 I stayed at but was sufficient enough. Also no fee for dogs!

It's nice for what I paid. Not a whole lot of amenities, but there was a pool and a courtyard filled with tables, chairs and grills so you can eat outside (not confined in your room). The room had a larger mini fridge and microwave.

The room was outdated but decent enough I suppose. The floor of the tub was stained grey. The chair fabric was filthy. The air conditioner front that is required to have space for circulation was completely blocked by the bed and the room was set up so it was purposeful, not where a guest would have done such. It was not set up to accommodate for any space around the air conditioner.

Beds are a little rough but overall a good room for the price. Ironing board & iron, TV, mini fridge, microwave on the room. Had a cute little oval shower. We didn't get to swim as it was a quick stop but it looked clean & inviting. No breakfast, only coffee in hotel lobby.

The front desk staff was friendly and professional. The motel is showing some age but was clean. The beds were comfy and towels seemed new. There were a few delivery options nearby other than pizza so that was great! The mosquitos were pretty bad but that’s just Mother Nature, no fault of the property (just a heads up). The price was right and a quiet area.

Very nice for the money. Clean and quiet. Also, a friendly staff. We were very happy that they were "dog friendly". We'll stay here again when we go back to Holbrook.

We have been gone for 21 days now and 16 of those days have been at Motel 's and everyone of them have been just great. This one in Holbook is especially nice as it has a frig and a micro wave…

I have been staying here for years with good experiences. That all changed in 2017' when new management took over. They pretty much tore out the dog walk area. And now they make you sign a two page contract to stay with your dog. It's over the top for a motel with a standard dog policy Nationwide. Never again will I stay at the Holbrook location, with or without my dog.

Great deal! Dogs stay free! Room is small but the price is right. The bed is fine. The TV is way out of date and the sound quality is awful. Cable is one of the nice parts about staying in a hotel so I rate it 3. If they updated the TV's then I'd give it a 4.

Nice motel. Typical motel6 standard. Rooms are not too big but very clean. In the courtyard is a pool and several seating areas. There are also several barbecue areas with gas and wood. There is also a Denny's in the immediate vicinity. Absolutely recommended.

Walking to Denny's was literary 1 walking minute away. Since the hotel didn't offer continental breakfast that was conveniently located. Coffee bar and ice machines was located right next to reception area. Doesn't make you comfortable enough to get coffee with the staff looking right at you. Rooms were clean. Floors were tile and clean, better than having nasty carpet. Shower is extra small. You can't bend down to scrub without your tush being all over the plastic shower curtain. No blow dryer or iron. You get 2 bars of soap. Other than that beds are comfy. Microwave and refrigerator in rooms.

We always choose Motel 6 because they are pet friendly. We called this location, since we are about an hour out and we figured it would be like all the other Motel 6's we have been to. Well boy was I wrong! Lady on the phone was very rude and when I told her I had 2 pet dogs she told me that, "They had to be under 14 lbs. " 14 lbs! I have never had a problem bringing in my two medium dogs at any other Motel 6. I then asked her if that was just at that motel or all of them… which she responded, "Yeah all of them. The pets have to be under 14 lbs. " What a disappointment. We ended up calling and making a reservation at the Motel 6 on Winslow, even though we had to detour. They were very friendly, welcoming, and even had a king bed.

Very spartan but just adequate. The pillows were the size of a throw pillow, and I could not run just the fan without the heat being on. Wooden floor was not a welcome sight as carpet is much easier to walk on and not slippery. The bathroom door couldn't be opened and shut easily as though it was too large to fit the opening. No tub which would have been nice to soak in after a long day of driving. The only thing good about the place is that is was clean, and Denny's was next door. Probably won't be staying here in the future.

This was a quick stop, just an overnight. The hotel staff was fantastic, very friendly and professional. The room was clean, as well as the hotel grounds. There was no extra toilet paper in room and maybe a half of roll in bathroom. I would have given 4 stars but the towels in the room, although clean, were very old and stained. The beds are comfy. Overall I would use this as a pit stop again.

It was late in the evening when we arrived. The room was ready. The front desk was sweet and kind. Told us where everything was from coffee to ice and room. Room was clean. Quiet. Only thing is I wish there was a continental breakfast as we had to leave early. I wished I would have remembered my AAA discount. But price was good anyway.

All the reviews here are accurate. I love the cleanliness here & its obvious that the people who run it care about details. Its a good price for the small room — now a couple things worth mentioning that no one else has. The dryer on the left doesn't dry well. I did it twice & clothes still weren't completely dry. I appreciate they had a guest laundry facility, though it's kept busy by other guests. Its one reason we chose this motel. The dryer on the right looks like it does better. I don't know about all the rooms, but mine didn't have a tub. Its a stand up shower & no water pressure. It reminds me of a little room you would have at the beach for shelter and that's perfect for being outside the pool which looks really nice here. There are not enough outlets in the room. None by the beds. Thankfully I travel with an extension cord as my driver needs a cpap at night. The room had heat, but if yours doesn't you can ask front desk for heaters & blankets. No AC units, but it does cool off at night.   There is some kind of thermostat in the room & the room didn't get overly hot or cold, but there's no air circulation. The windows open though which is a nice touch. The room was clean~I love that. House keeping is doing an excellent job.   I stay in a lot of motels /hotels & housekeeping is GOOD here. It Is well lit & though busy, its quiet & felt safe.

Very good for the price… The air was not working. I thought that would be a problem, but it wasn't since it got plenty cool right after I arrived. There was a party in the courtyard, (a film crew having a kick off party) and I was afraid it would be a problem, but it wasn't. I couldn't hear a thing after I turned on the TV, even with the window open for air (being able to open the window was a plus). So, there are a couple of things I could whine about, but I won't. Everything worked out fine. If I knew anyone going to stay in Holbrook, I would recommend you. Clean, safe, decent for the price. My dogs were happy too! Oh… a channel guide in the room would be helpful.

Our stay in Holbrook AZ was short but we had a very nice stay at the Motel 6. We had stayed in the Gallup NM Motel 6 heading east, but found it uncomfortable. It had carpet that seemed to be saturated with strong odors. So heading back west we drove further to the Holbrook Motel 6 and we were very happy we did! Very clean room, nice area, and very nice fast-food selection. Pizza down the road was great and had a fridge and microwave for leftovers. The staff was very polite and directed us to the pizza parlor. Since we traveled with a dog we needed take out.

When we showed up for our first night (we had a 1 night reservation for a Friday night returning on Sunday night for a 1 night stay) the girl at the desk said she did not have a reservation for us although I had the email confirmation. When I asked what we were supposed to do her reply was "I don't know but I don't have a reservation for you. " I then asked if they at least had a room and she said yes. So I cancelled the initial reservation so as not to be charged double. As she set us up in a room I asked if we could have a ground floor room since my husband has back problems. She did not state they only had 2 beds in the rooms on the bottom floor. Once she completed the booking I was then informed of this. I asked, "Do you not have any queens available on the ground floor? " To which she asked, "Oh NOW you want a room with a queen bed? ' I told her that was my initial request and yes, I prefer to sleep with my husband! It only continues to get worse with you and your customer service. I have called and emailed you with our last 2 stays vowing to NEVER stay at a Motel 6 again. For real though — this WAS the last straw! You need to get your act together!

Awesome hotel the one across the street say on billboards they are 44 and they wanted 109 motel six was nice and only wanted under 50. I was very happy and they have a pool ice maker fridge and laundry machines. And great friendly service.

Everything we requested was accommodated — downstairs, 2 beds, 2 dogs, ease of access. We were particularly pleased that there was adequate parking right in front of our room and this location has a great doggie area with a walking path and area designated especially for the 4 legged guests. We'll stay there again with our dogs! Thanks.

Front desk staff is very friendly although the laundry facilities were closed this weekend I've been staying here every weekend for a month now and I really cannot complain except for the fact that I needed clean clothes for the week being a truck driver I can't just get in my car and go down the street to the laundromat one machine was broken last weekend this weekend they are both broken and it's closed I think the maintenance support needs to improve.

Very nice and clean motel 6. Would have given 5 stars, but they only have double beds, no queen size beds. Staff at reception at the time we arrived was outstanding nice and helpful. Real customer oriented attitude. Room was bright and clean. Bathroom too. We moved the beds to make it a larger sleeping area and there was absolutely no dust under the beds. Parking are at night is well lit. We would stay here again anytime. We also compared prices to the neighboring motels and the motel 6 offered the best rate.

I stopped for a one night stay while traveling and the price of $49.00 a night was very attractive, but I did not expect much. To my surprise this Motel 6 was very nice for a basic room. Very clean, no odors, nice furnishings, nice property, comfortable bed, very nice staff and fast check-in. Even free coffee in the lobby. Very impressed. I would most defiantly stay at this Motel 6 again in the future.

I was delighted to find that there was a tree-shaded courtyard in the middle of the circle of buildings, that the room was spacious and very clean, and the refrigerator even had a freezer and a vegetable drawer. The sidewalks on both sides of the well-lit street in front of the motel were also wonderful for evening, as well as morning walks, and there were benches along the sidewalk for resting.

Clean and affordable! Friendly staff with helpful attitude, reasonable room size within Asian standard, equipped with fridge and microwave plus shower type bathroom. Light breakfast provided, while they also have barbecue pits which you can use to cook your meal, we enjoyed their gazebo near the swimming pool and had our lunch there, however need to retreat due to ice rock storm falling from the sky (don't want to be outside with those kind of weather for sure). Overall, … Nice 2 nights stop to gain our spirit and energy plus doing some laundry before continuing our road trip and exploration in the US.

Enjoyed our quick stay. Quiet place, although we didn't use it the pool area looked super nice from our room. Wood floors in room a nice touch. Would have loved a small something for breakfast eleven if it was a light breakfast. Also the shower on our room flooded the floor because of the angle of the shower head. So check that before u start the shower.

Although it is an older hotel we really enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and facilities. The pool was great too. The gas grills and picnic tables was a nice touch. Really felt at home here. And we got to know some other guests and even made new friends. Very comfortable place.

Small room for a one night stay was perfect for our need. Nothing fancy, just a nice place to sleep. I booked for the wrong day and the hotel had no vacancies due to a local graduation. They were able to find a room at the last minute and were very kind and helpful. I felt the staff went above and beyond to accommodate myself and my 2 children. Thank you Motel 6! We will be back.

Tammy & the rest of the staff was very kind to my family (2 humans 2 dogs) yes it's a older motel. Neat clean. A broken water line held up the water for maybe 1 hr. But, hey life happens. It's a nice place to stay. Your manager Tammy handles that job with grace. Her staff was very helpful when I needed to use the computer and washer and dryer. Nice pet area. It's was clean.

Clean, quiet and comfortable! There is also a nice area set up for walking your dog. Check — in person was helpful and knowledgeable. Holbrook is a nice, quiet town to spend the night in.

First thing when I walked in, I was told that the air conditioning was out and that they had called me. I had never received a call about the issue. It was well after 10pm by now and I didn't want to have to find another room at this time of night. I was traveling with my mother and two children and just needed to get them to bed. Found out to that we could open the window but it didn't have a screen. Not entirely safe, especially since one of the beds was right up against the window. Other than that, it was a typical Motel 6 room. Small, wimpy towels (and only 2 in the room), no hair dryer, stained bed spreads and a poor renovation job (floor was coming up in the bathroom for one example). But the room was cheap so you get what you pay for. It was clean (other than the stained bedspreads which we didn't use since the room was so hot). Again, it's a decent cheap place to lay your head.

Rooms are clean and well maintained. The only issue I have had here was that the TV was not properly programmed. The night manager handled this immediately when I reported the situation. Very convenient location right off of I 40.

We were just there for one night traveling from Athens TX to Fresno CA. Our room was right outside the office and we parked our car literally 10 feet from our front door, so that was very convenient. Everything was clean and worked properly. Perfect stop for the night.

I arrived late on a cold winter's night, and was pleased to find the room was not chilly. The night clerk, a young native man, must have seen to it that the thermostat was set when I reserved the room a few hours prior. What was especially great was that he paid attention to my request to be away from the road, despite that it made preparing the room more inconvenient for him. He was super friendly, very efficient and made sure everything was set for morning alarm, extra supplies in the room if needed (they weren't), etc. It was a really refreshing and charming experience, and affirmed my past experiences with Navajo people… some other groups working in New Mexico tourism could learn a few things, frankly.

My room smelled like a backed up toilet and the heat was on all night but my room never got above 55 degrees. Don't stay here, there's better options across the street.

Motel 6, as a rule, is a perfectly adequate place to sleep for a night. It is one of the least expensive options out there, and under AARP you can get free Wifi, which is always good for me.

We stayed in a ground floor room with 2 double beds. The room wad clean and well kept. My only complaint was the air conditioner had a hard time cooling the room. It was June. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's easy access off/on I-40.

The hotel room was clean and had nice hardwood floors. Parking was not an issue when we arrived at 1:30 am. The staff was friendly. The Wi-Fi did not work, which was a let down for my internet obsessed children.

Of all the motel 6's we've been to, this is the nicest. Grounds were clean, motel was well kept, staff was friendly. Fridge and microwave in the room, plenty of space. Plus the town has a lot to offer.

Easy to fine, well kept property. Bog dog walk area. Fridge and microwave in the room. Definitely better than expected for the cheapest place in town.

Very impressed with the courtesy from the staff and the cleanliness of the property and room. Very neat and kept. Parking appropriate for small vehicles to large Semi Diesels. No continental Breakfast but you get 10% off at the Denny's right next door. They Have very nice large back yard propane grills stationed around the pool. I counted 6 propane grills and 2 charcoal grills. Located on very Quite side of town, but then again the whole town is very small but seems to have everything you need. Free Wifi which worked very well with my Laptop and phone but not so well with my sons tablet. Laundry Facilities very well kept and safe as there is a Window on the back wall that views into the lobby next to the ice machines in the front office. The lobby also offers free coffee, the town news paper and desk top computers with printer just in case. Vending machines located conveniently. Sidewalks, bushes and grounds neatly and properly kept in order. No tub but very clean shower, sink, and toilet. Heater and Air conditioner in Proper Running order. It was pretty Windy out which caused the temp to drop and the heater warmed us so much we had to turn on the A/C to cool back down. We felt very safe in our room and in the property parking lot when we had to return to our vehicle for toothbrushes. Pet friendly as we saw clean, well kept specially designated areas for pets to walk. We felt very welcome by all staff we encountered.

Omg! I've never seen a bedbug in person before. The staff was friendly. The lady at the desk was nice, even as she denied having bedbugs in the hotel. I feel bad saying anything, but it was clear that she wasn't going to do anything about it. This totally sucks.

Non smoking room smelled like a bar, pillow case had makeup from the last guest, and the sheets had long black hair in them. Didn't even stay 2 minutes in the room. Asked for money back and the girl behind the desk didn't say anything. She didn't reply to us after explaining why we were leaving. She just handed us our money. No I'm sorry or anything.

One of the cleanest Motel 6's I'd ever been in. The night staff was super friendly and helpful. The grounds were very well maintained. If all Motel 6's were as nice as this one I would't need to look any further. Plus,, the rates were excellent.

The staff was just stellar! I was treated courteously and kindly. The check in was quick and the guy behind the desk was friendly and professional. The place is very clean and everyone was working hard to keep it that way. I was very impressed with the outdoor patio area. My room was ok. It was clean but the towels are old and worn, the pillows were flat like pancakes, and the bathroom fan was loud but with the door shut it was bearable. I usually travel with my own towels, soap, blanket and pillow so it was no big deal about the quality of the towels and bedding provided by Motel 6. The several beetles crawling around the bathroom creeped me out but they didn't live long, and the AC unit was stinky like mold/mildew and cig smoke. I bought a can of disinfectant spray and used it while I was there. I did spend the first night sneezing so maybe something was in the AC vent/fan? I think that there should be a designated smoking area away from the building in order to keep the cig smoke from permeating into the rooms. Other than those few things, everything was what I expected for the price I paid. And I would consider staying there again if I'm ever back up in the Holbrook area!

Provide better accommodations. The overall ambience of the room was depressing. Ugly, dim florescent lighting. The bathroom fan was extremely loud. The shower curtain had someones black hair still on it. The towels were cheap and scratchy. The sheets were not what they should be and there was a dead bug in the bed. The wall plates were not removed prior to painting and had paint on them. (Who doesn't remove wall plates before painting? ) The beds were jammed up against the wall and required moving in order to turn the bed down. And last but not least there was some mix-up with my reservation. I thought I had reserved the night of the 16th and when I got there I was told they were expecting me for the night of the 14th. That may have been my fault, don't know. However, the person at the front desk was kind enough to comp me the room given I had already paid for it. I would not ever stay at this Motel 6 again.
