The staff was amazing and very helpful. Our room was disgusting! Stains all over the walls and floors. It felt and smelled horrible. I normally love every Holiday Inn Express we have stayed at, but this one I will never stay at again…

The motel was very good. The front desk staff was exceptional. The only bad thing was we got back to the motel around 8:45 hoping to cool off in the pool only to find out it closed at 9:00. A 10:00 closing would be more appropriate. Otherwise it was a very good stay.

Nice hotel. The $3 a bottle for water that they leave in your room is kinda outrageous since there is a gas station right beside the hotel that sells it for 1.20. Besidea that its a good place to stay if visiting the area.

I loved the space of my suite… however… they don't give you enough towels. I paid for an executive suite but had to go get my own extra towels. When I reserved the room I stated there were four people in it. They kept giving me three sets of towels. The outlets were poor. I had to try out several outlets to charge my phones and iron. They pull out couch was also broken.

Not a kid's family place. Hot tub nolonger work's. Staff was not friendly. No kids TV channels. But it is located in a great place for shopping.

I stay here for work about once a month and always have a great experience. Nice staff and clean rooms.

Family friendly hotel clean quiet good breakfast great location right near good food places and walking distance to movie theater would definitely stay again.

I did not have a positive experience with this hotel. I stayed for one night for a friends wedding. We knew that the hotels in the area were packed for the weekend, so I called ahead to let the staff know that we would be arriving closer to 4 PM, vs the agreed upon 3 PM check-in. The staff said it was no big deal, and that they would see us when we got there. They failed to mention that our room would not be ready for another 4+ hours. We had an event to attend at 5 PM, so we were not able to put our things down or get changed and prepared for the event at the hotel. The staff did not keep us in the loop on the readiness of the room. I left my phone number at the front desk and asked for a call when it was ready. They never called, so finally at 9PM I called and asked if my room was going to be available for the night. After a long hold, she told me that we would come get the keys from the front desk. The next day, I asked to speak with a manager. None was available. I was told to leave my number for the GM to call me back. I waited 4 days and I finally called back to the hotel and spoke with an event director that was unable to help me. She promised a call back from the GM, but we will see if that ever happens. After calling 2xs a week for a month I have given up. This place is ridiculous — silly that making amends for a huge mess up is not worth it to the manager. **Also, rooms were dated for what appeared to be a newish hotel.

We always stay here on our visits to Auburn The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always very clean and inviting. Their breakfast is more than just a donut and coffee.

Best hotel ever the service was great and friendly with stay for two nights and we didn't want to leave.

It is a nice place in a good location. It is just not maintain very well. It is a pet friendly place so there is urination and feces stains all up and down the hallways and rooms. Their are scratches on the back of the doors from pets scratching on them when their owners leave them alone in the rooms and marks all over the walls. You can see where they have done some touch-up painting because it stands out from the rest of the paint. The touch up paint on the walls does not even match. Do not look on top of the head boards. They are full of dust and when you realize that dust is an accumulation of skin cells from other people then you know other people's skin cells are falling down on you as you sleep every time you bump the headboard. The night staff is not friendly at all and the cleaning crew is a joke. You can see where they have wiped up a mess but you can see the residue leftover where they have cleaned. There is cleaner residue all over the tubs and toilet. The morning staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good. If I was a dog this would be a great hotel to stay in.

Holiday inn is the most reliably decent chain in my book. I enjoyed this location because of how thorough the cleaning staff was. My room was clean and I was satisfied as usual from not running into any related problems, I'm a germaphobe so I extremely appreciate that. However, there are definitely problems. The room was in a bit of disrepair as nicks, spots, and lifted wallpaper were all over the room. Things just seemed a bit off, other problems were too small to mention, but the place could do with a solid look over. This place has potential, we'll see how it is next week when I drop by again (maybe). Overall it was a restful stay, I am pleased with my purchase. Update: I had to book at another location due to them being booked for a sports event, I stayed at a Holiday Inn near Montgomery. I changed this review to 3 stars simply because of the significant difference between the two locations in service and room conditions.

Booked this room months ago frm Fla. Only to find out the pool was down the entire stay really wish they would've let me know that prior to booking. Also was a big let down for my two daughters no pool time, also there was only one cartoon channel for the girls to view. The two much needed amenities we were looking forward to having for our vacation was not available for our visit. Highly disappointed.

The stay here was very nice. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was very good. I have one suggestion: as this is a pet-friendly hotel, it would be good to have some dog dropping pickup stations, the kind with a little trash can and bags. There was a noticeable amount of dog droppings around the hotel, and those stations would help minimize that. Besides that, I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone in the area.

Ballroom for hosting Super Smash Bros tourney was nice and clean. The hotel was nice and clean. Would go back for a tourney again.

Excellent manager's special Monday through Wednesday. Nice clean rooms and near a movie theater. Driving distance to a giant strip mall.

The only complaint or problem that we had with the hotel was that the mattresses seemed much firmer than usual for a Holiday Inn Express. Everything else, the front desk, the breakfast room, the cleanliness — all were exceptional.

The staff was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. The entire hotel (including our room) was very clean. Breakfast was pretty good. The only negatives were that the cleaning and maintenance staff was pretty loud, at various hours, and the water completely stopped on each of us while taking showers (but only briefly both times).

I am staying in this hotel on the first night of the NFL season. I thought it would not be a problem since the game was being aired on NBC. Guess what? This hotel has such a SMALL limit of TV stations on it's Dish Network that it doesn't even have a local station for NBC. Can you believe it? I will never… I mean never stay here again! And the desk clerk had no clue. I'm shocked… mad and very outdone that this hotel has opted not to provide its customers with a better TV lineup. Hampton is right around the corner and when in the area that is where I will stay. By the way… I am a Spire Elite member. I stay at IHG hotels over 100 times a year.

Great hotel, spacious parking, but can be a little far from uni. Their beds are one of a kind ive never slept in a hotels bed like that I am looking forward to buying similar one whenever I could afford one. Can get pricey during occasions so plan ahead. One downside is poor breakfast.

Very clean. Very new. Bed was super. Staff was great — especially the desk manager Rex, he was very accommodating with some travel changes I had. I don't normally leave reviews, but because the staff was so good, that made me want to post one. I don't understand the negative review someone posted about breakfast — it was fine: biscuits & gravy, eggs, sausage, bacon, etc… Sure beats the cold cereal & bagel the last hotel I stayed in had for breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.
