Chevron and 3 fast foods next door. No elevator for handicap. No ice. TV doesn't work. Fridge needs defrost. Gas to come here costed WAY more than two nights let. Suck it UP!

Unprofessional and ghetto! Nasty and front desk workers are in denial! Dangerous environment will not return and couldn’t get refund! Didn’t stay a hour.

My wife likes the big beds and huge bathtubs where we can wiggle like penguins.

Got to our room and the air conditioner was leaking so the staff had but a bucket under it, we had to dump it every few hours. Toilet was also leaking. Housekeeping never came to our room the whole time we were there, had to go to the front desk and ask for towels. Staff was not friendly. I accidentally left some dirty clothes in a drawer and realized after leaving, called and they said that housekeeping didn’t not find my clothes but I know they did.

It was great. Clean specious, reasonable price.

Shockingly dirty room by the pool! Hair from previous person still on the hair dryer. Crumbs from chips (? Doritos? ) found in ice bucket. Drips of water from wet swimsuits and then shower made mud puddles on the floor! The shower itself was filthy and I made everyone wear flip flops. Would have left if we hadn't paid so much for the room. Breakfast was incredibly basic with stale donuts, cereal, juice and undrinkable coffee. Felt cheated by the whole experience. We stayed there last year during the same time. Not sure what's happened since then to have it go so far downhill. Certainly won't stay there again next year.

We expect a minimum of 2 services from a hotel: great customer service and room cleanliness. We were disappointed. In our first room, We found dirty sheets and dead bug left on the ceiling not to mention our non smoking room smelled like smoke. Then when we asked for a different room, the maintenance tried to aurge with us that the bug was dead so it was nothing to worry about. I recommend finding a different hotel if you can.

Just spent two nights at this conveniently located older hotel. Very clean. Courteous and helpful staff. And PET FRIENDLY! We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Montgomery, Alabama.

It was Terrible. Our air unit didn't work properly. Slept at foot of bed to feel air. Head of bed felt like a furnace. I killed a black bug on polite… No bed bugs though. Killer a roach on desk. Brother's took had a used feminine product in bath tub. Don't go not worth the!

I don't know anyone who goes to Red Roof Inn expecting 5 star quality. That being said, I checked into the room because I had a non-refundable deposit of one night. I'd planned to stay for 4, but I knew when I pulled up that it would be short-lived. I have stayed in some places that were sketch before. So, what's one night, right? IT WAS AWFUL. I did not know a CLEAN bathroom was an amenity that I should read for. The shower curtain had mildew on it. There was black crud under and around the mat that was in the bath tub. The side of the tub was dirty. The toilet hadn't been scrubbed so there was black mess in it. The blow dryer cord had all the crud from the guests who had stayed there over however many years it had been in the room. I could not and would not shower there. When I showed the manager pictures of how dirty the bathing areas were, she gave me a full $8 off of my stay. Eight dollars of insult added to the injury of staying there. Stay somewhere else.

Accessible from the interstate. Lots of fast food joints around. Lots of rooms for accommodation. It has a swimming pool. It's fairly old, and got a musty scent. Even if it's non smoking it still smells like someone smoked in the room. Lights are dim.

Our bedroom was clean, bathroom included. I loved the linoleum floors as we had my service dog with us along with a 5 year old. A/C blew cold, mini fridge kept our stuff cold. The beds were comfortable, the blanket between the sheet and comforter I need to find, it felt like it was made from the happiest material on this planet. (Granted we've been on the road for a few days) the shower was 'awesome' as quoted by my husband. Breakfast has coffee, juice, milk, breads, eggos, cereal. Basic and simple, just what we needed before getting back on the road. The staff I met were all very friendly and polite, the guests were also polite (though the guests may have had something to do with the 85lb dog at my side) 10/10 reccomend for price wary travelers who need a place to stay.

We booked a room on line and were told that that this place was updated, etc. Checked in, the ac did not work in the room we were in. Additionally. Half of the lights didn’t have working bulbs. They changed the room, after being extremely ugly to me, when all I asked for was to be in a room where the ac worked, along with the other normal things in a hotel room. I must mention, we had a dog, and this hotel was pet friendly. Hence, we booked it. Not knowing what to our surprise we would be dealing with. The room smelled horrible and there were people just scoping the place outside. As if they were ready to break into your car or drug trafficking. When one of the hotel owners came to my room regarding the issue, they said they would try to find anothe room, with a king bed, however they were booked? Cmon, we must have had he only vehicles in the place. We decided to grab dinner and ended up booking a room at the home suites by Hilton. When we returned to the bog of eternal stitch, to find that even the room they switched us to ended up having water leaking all over the floor from that ac. We grabbed our things and went to the front desk, only to find a very rude and non customer service person tell me, “ so sorry, I’ll send a note about the water but even if you check out you still have to pay for the room. This was a gift from us to not allow this horrible inn keeper get the best of my weekend. I just smiled and walked away. I wouldn’t allow my dog to stay there.

Overall experience at Red Roof Inn was just ok. Nothing spectacular except the view in the middle of the property. Very beautiful sitting in the gazebo. There was a beautiful pool, wasn't open I was told. Waffle House right next door was Awesome. Close to expressways. Room was dirty. The room served its purpose, My Aunt passed and needed a room for a few nights. So overall, wouldn't recommend…

When we got here 3 days ago there was a minor issue with the frig. Guy came within the hour, checked it out and moved us down a couple doors and that was it. We are leaving shortly after the 3 days to continue our journey. We had a very comfortable 3 days. Great staff and we would come back.

Written by Debra James Johnson. Beware! I was wondering why several ratings indicated no comment. The only thing good was the shower and the hotel lobby. The room floor hasn't been mopped since they put the floor down. The toilet was nasty and I had to go and purchase disinfectant to use the bathroom. I was afraid to leave my daughter, which is 19 and in college, in the room by herself. The guest reminded me of a West side of Chicago story. Lastly, on the morning of departure, I found a bug crawling in the bathroom tub. Yikesssss! Beware! Beware! Beware! I know you are wondering why I stayed it is because I drove from Chicago to Montgomery in 10 1/2 hours and I couldn't drive no further. I wish Motel 6 would have let the light on for me.

We stayed at this Red Roof Inn because they are pet friendly and we were traveling with a dog. I can't rate most of the amenities because we simply used the room as a place to sleep and then we hit the road again. The room was clean and met our needs. Although we didn't watch much TV, what we saw had very poor reception. Personnel at the front desk were professional and helpful on check in and check out.

Our stay was not very pleasant. The first issue was the registration, the guy was just rude, and not to welcoming. As we parked and unloaded there was a lot of noticably illegal activity going on, at all hours of the night. Getting into the room we noticed that it wasn't cleaned, candy wrappers on the floor, dirty washcloth and used soap in the tub, and roaches everywhere. Needless to say, we didn't stay long. We were denied our money back, and still are trying to get refunded. It doesn't deserve 1 star.

Oh my Lord, where do I even start? This place doesn't even deserve one star. One of the supposedly clean rags had what used to be red stains and there were red stains on the ceiling. I'm honestly praying that is wasn't blood. And the tub and toilet had a noticeable ring around it. I didn't even want to touch it. In fact, I stood outside the tub and washed myself off. I couldn't even get a good night's sleep because I was afraid that a roach would be in the room. And the air conditioning was terrible I would be freezing one moment and then after a while I'll be sweating bullets. If you want a good night's sleep, trust me, spending more money would be way better than spending an hour here.

Their rooms are filthy and a disgusting smell, pool is not clean and also the sheets are dirty. I wouldn't recommend coming here.

Great rooms. Very spacious. Free Wi-Fi. Micro fridge and microwave included. Not to mention free breakfast from 6-9. We enjoyed our stay.

Great quality for the price. The free breakfast is nothing more than carb central buffet, and wasn't the most presentable. For this, my family and I opted out. For a clean place to lay your head, it's definitely a deal.

This an old property that has not been maintained well. We had a leak from the AC below where water was dripping onto the carpet in our first floor room. There was a pretty decent sized flat screen TV, but at least one (1) of its speakers was blown so that when you turned the volume above 11 (hard to hear) the sound was distorted, and quite frustrating. The staff seemed a bit apathetic to our complaints, too.

Great customer service and the rooms were nicer than I thought they would be. The outside of the motel is average but the prices were great so I booked. Pleasantly surprised.

Walked into the room and it had a pungent dank smell. The toilet paper was also not two ply, very thin. Went to blow my nose and there were only two Kleenex's, had to use the thin toilet paper. The hooks in the back of the door in the bathroom were also not reachable for short people, not sure who puts hooks at the very top of the door, stupid idea. When I was brushing my teeth I looked in the sink and there was hair in it… NASTY! The faucet was also about to fall off. The bed spread and sheet had blood spots on it and they did not seem to be washed, didn’t smell like Tide. There was someone else’s hair on the sheets and washclothes. The ceiling was also falling apart and the mirror was horrifyingly dusty. Very dirty and disgusting place. I do not, repeat DO NOT, recommend staying here, but do as you wish if you like that kind of nasty. :/

Conveniently located but room wall are paper thin and share a dividing door. Bathroom had a roach crawling around when I arrived. Bed was comfortable, which all that matters. Price was reasonable for its flaws.

I'm in room 237 right now this place was booked through my company for a 2 week stay. This is my first night here got all settled in got my stuff in my room everything seemed nice for a cheap hotel. Laying here watching TV with the light off I got up turned lights on and roaches ran everywhere. Not 10 or 12 but like 50 or 60 that I could see. Most had scattered off the towel on the floor before I could get a good pic. But you can see the big one and little ones all over the fake hardwood floor. Wouldn't let me attach a pic to bad to I'd love for all these 5 star reviews to count the roaches.

The room was clean. They had a coffee maker, a microwave and a refrigerator. They also had a blow dryer and an ironing board and iron. It was well lit and pet friendly. They even had free breakfast. On top of that the price was very affordable.

We came to the Red Roof Inn because of Hurricane Irma. Roy at the front desk was amazing. When we booked our rooms on Expedia, unknowingly we booked single bed rooms. She was able to work with us to get us 2 double rooms pretty quickly even though she was extremely busy. The rest of the staff was extremely friendly. Rooms were what would expect. Thank you very much for working with us and getting us what we needed.

I've stayed in plenty of red roof inns but I will never stay at this one again. The guy up front was rude, when I asked if it was a good area he said "idk this is just my job" being a 19 year old girl traveling alone, I wanted to make sure I was safe. Room was TERRIBLE smelling of smoke even with it being a "non smoking room. " Room service never came to give me towels or change my sheet the 3 days I was there. That being said the price is great but everything else could be better. Don't stay here.

The rooms are clean and all the employees are really nice & professional. The area that the hotel is in seems quiet and safe. Front desk personnel were pleasant and quickly solved any problem I had. I LOVE THIS PLACE… there are several places to shop and eat nearby.

The hotel was about the condition you'd expect for the location & price point. The room was in great condition & plenty spacious. Had a few discrepancies with the cleanliness of the room but they quickly offered a generous discount on my already discounted rate. Breakfast add expected was basic: fruit, cereal, mini donuts, Eggos, toast, coffee, etc. Also, pets are okay with no extra fees! Over all, final price was hard to beat & it served the need.

We got a renovated room which had hardwood floors. It was a nice stay. There was a lot of tabletop space for you to put things on. It was very nice for a red roof inn. The free breakfast was your typical continental breakfast but did its job nonetheless.

Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. The low cost isn't worth it. The beds are mediocre but clean. Everything else is dirty. Floors are fake hardwood and dirty. I didn't see any prostitutes, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Sheets clean. Room pretty clean. Breakfast could be better. At other red roofs we stayed at they have been. Love the pool and location to places we needed to be and things we didn't know we were going to do. Internet is very wacky and comes and goes very annoyingly. Also would enjoy the Disney Channel for the kids. The beds move which is weird. Service at desk and at breakfast was great.

I second the other reviewer who said this place is only for hookers. Complete dump. It's not that the rooms are outdated, which they are (and that's to be expected) but basic sanitary services apparently escape the folks tasked with cleaning the rooms. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The type of hairs you hope to never see in a bathroom were evident everywhere, including the bath tub. So bad I would have left and gone elsewhere but it was late and I blindly booked it through Priceline that I stuck it out. Avoid at all costs.

This place is not for anybody but hookers… I went there one night after work cause I had to work that morning… strange men calling the phone asking me if I was making money wtf. I told the ppl at the front desk she was like I can't stop that yea I understand that but there should be sum kinda way where you should feel safe. I will never go there again…

I will never stay her again, the room was okay and it was clean, but for the two nights we stayed, around 3am this fowl smell of sewage woke us up, we opened the door and realized it was in the air outside, unbearable. On top of that the noise from the busy street, but we could deal with that and the area was not what we expected at all. We drove all the way to another area for nicer restaurants and shopping. Other guess were smoking outside of our rooms and we could smell that, other guests dogs barked on our last night. The only reason we stayed is because when we arrived the host said we had to pay upfront, and there were no refunds but we didn't know what to expect. Now I see what no refunds! So no we will not be returning to this Red Roof Inn or any other Red Roof in the future. Don:t waste your time or money. Stay in Prattville, Alabama its a nicer areas and you can get a nicer hotel for about the same price as this hotel.

The beds are horrible! Hard as a rock. Asked for extra pillows, never received them on either of the two nights we stayed. Had to be moved to a different room because the bath tub wouldn't drain and the toilet rocked back and forth like it was going to tip over. So, after our first sleepless night, we got to listen to the obnoxiously loud people above us running back and forth, yelling, screaming, laughing (these were NOT children. ) And carrying on until about 1:30 a. M. Not to mention feeling like creepy crawlies on you while you try to fall asleep on the most uncomfortable beds that ever existed. One tired mommy and daddy with 3 tired babies. Will NEVER stay here again!

I have been staying here once to twice a week for over 6 months for a travel job in town. The front desk staff has always been helpful and courteous. The rooms have been clean and I always sleep well. I haven't had any problems with shady characters or people messing with my sport car. The chairs need replaced and some of the mattresses arent that great, the irons are really bad. Other than that, I always have a good experience. There is a Zaxby's right next door and a Pizza place right across the street.

The help and the people they was so nice to me and my family. They gave us a room with no problem free breakfast, I loved it so much that we are planning to go back to NC I will be stoping by redroof inn… thank you for all your help and kindness…

First they have a very rude man that goes around threating people to kick them out for no reason, room was half clean, the lady at the front desk over charge my boyfriend card and says it would be back on there in a few days but never did I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone they should be shut down.

RUN RUN RUN… This hotel honestly deserve a negative 100 stars. First off the receptionist was rude. I check in at 3am I was exhausted so I didn't check out the room like I always do because I was tired. When I woke up in the morning I grab my shoes by the side of the bed to discover the mattress was soiled in BLOOD. THATS RIGHT BLOOD… I immediately called the front desk the girl pretended to act like she couldn't hear me so I went to the front desk I explain to them as well as showed pics he said oh that's just dirt. Lies I'm convinced someone was murdered in that room the entire mattress was covered in blood the carpet had blood stains near the bed leading to the bathroom. I didn't get my money back they said I would have to call and speak to a manager. I most definitely will be calling them and posting more images. I will never stay in another Red Roof in my life… After speaking to the manager she is clearly a liar stated she will refund half my money and never did she stated on July 6th she was sending out my refund here it is a month later and NOTHING… They need to be shut down worst place ever…

Very poor they over charged my card when I told them they over charged me they said it should be back right in two or three days that was almost 3 weeks agos every time I call they hang up never again the rooms is not clean at all.

Really deserves no stars. I stayed here just this past weekend. It has an outrageous bedbug problem. Management was informed after I had to see a doctor and was told that I had been bitten by bedbugs. Bite marks were on my back, legs, wrists, and neck. Management was unconcerned. Very bad customer service. They offered no compensation for my pain and suffering or inconvenience. The room didn't appear dirty only missing furniture (no chair). I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past when it was the former Days Inn with no problems. This Red Roof, on Zelda Rd needs to be shut down.
