I stayed there on my way home from Montgomery. Later to find out they charged my company card $600. I called to inquire and was accused of damaging a curtain and that a police report was filed. I paid $600 extra to have the charge removed out of my own pocket. They are fraudulantly charging customers "damage fees. " I have found others charged $1, 780 and $600. All claiming damage to a curtain. This is absolute fraud. This has been reported to Hilton and I will keep following up. There is certainly a pattern and Jay (front desk mgr? ) knows full well what he is doing. I found two others conned over the "broken curtain. "

They charged me $365 for a curtain that they said we destroyed which WE MOST certainly did not! A curtain! $365! They even filed a police report. We have spent nights in much finer hotels than this and never had issues. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Stay as far away as possible!

The staff was very friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and comfortable. They had grab bags for breakfast as we left. We always stay there on our way to the Smokies and they never disappoint.

The staff was very rude. My mother needed a place to stay because her water hasn’t been turned on in their new home. The associate on duty told her it was company policy that she could not stay there because she lives in the same county as the hotel. This is the most ignorant thing I have ever heard. Apparently they don’t support their local community. I wouldn’t waste my money on a corporation who doesn’t support their locals.

They have changed the beds. Hard beds now. The beds at Hampton have always been so wonderful and that’s what have made them so. Not at this one. They remodeled and put cheap beds in them. No more great beds. If the beds are not good then all the remodeling you do don’t amount to anything! Ruby Massey.

I don’t think I have ever been so comfortable in a hotel before! I think it was mainly the great pillows: most hotel pillows are hard and not bendable, theirs are fluffy and comfortable. Can’t complain about anything, this place is great!

Room as small, but clean and quiet. Pool was freezing cold. I know they have to keep it before 80, but do they have to keep it at sub zero temperature? Breakfast was a little disappointing because it wasn't well stocked and the variety was somewhat limited. But what I ate was good. In all, it's overall too pricey for what you get.

This Hampton Inn had all new upgraded furniture rugs everything was new. And don't worry about having enough electrical Outlets and USB hookups that was enough for family of 4 with no problem at all. Breakfast was outstanding and free.

I just spent a night here with my family and it was a great experience. The facility was very clean and well stocked. The fitness center was pretty basic, but I was at least able to get in a couple miles of running even if I couldn't do resistance training. My kids loved the breakfast, the fresh fruit was very much appreciated. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I didn't have any of the negative experiences others may have had. The breakfast is similar to that in the Marriott or best western locations.

I have been here many times and always enjoy my stay. Today my company card was declined after a long day and Elena (I think that’s how you spell it) was so very nice and helpful. She went over and beyond to make me feel better and comforted me while in tears.

The Inn is being renovated, so there was excess (but necessary I am sure) noise and dust. Unable to choose rooms ahead of arrival. Rooms look new/modern.

Overall very nice — parts of the hotel were under renovation or construction during our stay, but no issues.

I chose this brand as usual, because it's always been respectful and courteous. Not today. The woman Anita who checked me in was very rude. This is the first time I've ever had issues with you guys. More training should be tauught before throwing just anyone out there to work for you. I would never speak to a customer in the manner she spoke to me. Got to say Ruth S had it correct. Anita is just rude.

Every staff member other than Kimberly was rude and not following the Hampton family rules. The only helpful person was Kimberly. She's amazing and sweet! She went above and beyond to help all members of our horse show. Anita should be fired. Rude rude rude! Trash talking other co-workers and managers will get you no where miss attitude.

My room was clean, comfortable, and affordable! Staff was very helpful and the breakfast was good too!

Called to reserve a room and Carolyn (the general manager) said she could not rent a room to me because I was a local resident and hung up on me. I called back to ask if it was customary to be hung up on and try to explain the need of a local to rent a room but she never gave me a chance and hung up on me again. I think they have 19 vacant rooms this evening. I am baffled.?

This is the first time I have stayed at a Hampton Inn. This is supposed to be more top of the line, thus you pay more than other hotels/motels. My opinion of Hampton Inn is very different from what it was originally. The manager was not a very professional person. The breakfast was not what it could have been. We left without eating our second day. Overall I am sorry we didn't go to Motel 6 and spend the extra money on breakfast. If Hampton is usually better than this, I will never know.

A good stay. We try and stay at Hamptons when we travel. It's a mix between cost and benefit. While they maybe a little more than some other motels, the quality of the rooms and the free breakfast make up for any cost difference. It seems Hamptons have standardized the breakfast at their locations. We have not seen the regional changes we did on past vacations.

Brian Harvey's review from 8 months ago is spot on — this hotel's manager Carolyn Davidson has the WORST customer service of any Hilton property I have ever stayed in. I am Diamond status with Hilton. This means absolutely nothing to this hotel. The 2nd person stays free with diamond status, she tried to charge me $10 extra. She never offered waters. When I asked about an upgrade, she complained about my rate. When I suggested that maybe I need to stay somewhere else, she said "that's fine, go ahead" The other employees that I came in to contact with were very apologetic and were helpful for any of my needs. Whoever owns this property should give Carolyn some customer service training. I have NEVER been treated like this from any hotel chain, especially one where I have diamond status.

The room was so clean and nice, but the breakfast was really disappointing.

Came with a big group. Staff were amazing at working with my group on early breakfast and rooms were clean. 5 stars!

Parr of the hotel is still under construction. Didn't impact my stay. Friendly staff and great rooms. Close to many restaurants.

Love this place. Very clean very nice stop and a outstanding breakfast.

Very dated old furniture in rooms old carpet but looks like they are remodeling and the breakfast was slim picking.

Nothing super special but really good experience so far. Only bad thing I would say is the front desk is usually empty.

Stayed here on a buisnesd trip for one night 8/24/17. Front desk agent was friendly and fast at check in. No complaints about the hotel or the breakfast except one major detail. I am currently bit from my shoulder, Under armpits, back, all over my legs and groin area by bed bugs. I believe I stayed in Room 304. I can barely sleep at night from all the itching.

Great location. In the middle of construction which didn't end up being an issue. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel with comfortable beds and nice linens. It wasn't bad, but the shower water pressure could have been a little better. Location is great, close to hotels and stores. Breakfast was just ok. The one negative was all the little fruit fly gnats covering the fruit. That was a bit gross. I would stay there again.
