I do not recommend the hotel at all! Worst checkin experience as well as the most unprofessional manager and customer service I have ever received.

My family and I traveled over 4 hours to this hotel to find out upon check-in that they had canceled 1 of the 3 rooms I reserved for the week. The front desk staff said I was called but they couldn’t leave a voice message because my voicemail wasn’t set up, which was a lie. No one from the hotel called me. I called to speak to guest relations and they told me they couldn’t do anything and that I had to resolve the issue with management. The manager couldn’t do anything because there were no more rooms available. Fortunately, there were rooms available at another hotel nearby. The hotel itself was nice but this incident really put a bad taste in mouth with Holiday Inn. This was my first time and will be my last time booking with them.

This hotel is very clean and respect the CDC regulations due to COVID-19. The hospitality and location were great.

Room was clean upon arrival. Bed very soft and staff was extremely helpful.

I was charged for items on check out that I did not take. Manager would not even consider a refund. I understand this does happen and they have to safe guard but I did not do it and still lost money. If you stay here, you better have someone sign off with you that you didn’t take anything. The story I was given was ridiculous. It was either made up or they confused my room with someone else’s. Either way they didn’t even try to believe me-and now IHG has lost a customer over this. And I’m truly sad and annoyed about this. I’ve been a member and always stayed at HIE, but this hotel ruined that for me.

I had a terrible experience with this Hotel. I could not hear the desk very well and when I had issues they refused to help. I have talked Reservations and Guest services and the Foley hotel refuses to grant my cancellation. They will not even let me change the credit card that they are charging me for a room that I can not use. I will never be staying in a Holiday Inn Express from now on.

Will not be back! When I arrived there was a pretty long line for check in (no big deal, it was 3pm). I watched the mid-40s couple in front of me try to hand the woman at the front desk their card and she said “I don’t need it, you prepaid”. When I got to the desk, our room wasn’t ready yet. So me & my husband sat in the lobby and waited 20 minutes for it to get cleaned. The woman at the front desk was SOOOOO RUDE. I listened to her be very condescending to a 20-something gir…l who was having a mix up because her sister had booked the room, and the woman basically told her sorry cancel the room and figure it out. Finally, my room was ready and at the desk the woman tells me she HAS to have my card for incidentals. Even though I had just watched her tell the older than me couple they didn’t need to put theirs because they prepaid. I prepaid too sis. But whatever, I gave her my card and a $100 incidental fee was put on my card. I am an avid traveler and I’ve never seen a hold more than $50 and I jokingly said it’s high and she was like “I’m thinking about making it higher because young people keep trashing my rooms”. So basically she only makes young people go through this not older people.

They are doing renovations and didn't bother to tell us that!

Do not stay here! We made a reservation for 2 nights and were given the same rate for both nights. Had our confirmation email showing the rate. The next morning Scott (really rude and condescending) said we should not have been given that rate for Saturday and told us the rate for Saturday was double the rate on our confirmation! Who does that?!?! He was not very nice or friendly. I have been a rewards member since 2000 and have never had this happen! How do you change a rate after it has been confirmed!

Clean rooms and friendly staff made for an enjoyable stay.

We just returned from staying at Holiday Inn Express Foley for the past week. It was awesome! The staff was amazing (especially our desk clerk Andrella and Ms. Ann in the kitchen)! They were extremely accomodating! The room was spacious and immaculate! It was cleaned from top to bottom every day. The pool was beautiful. Well maintained. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning and were more than satisfied with the flavor as well as the choices. We are already talking about making another trip to Foley just so we can stay here again! Highly recommended!

Staff is great! Breakfast is great! Rooms are clean and spacious. Elevator is slow. Quick drive to beach. Easy access to shopping and restaurants.

The rooms are super nice and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The pool, while nice, is too way too small for somewhere that is a summer destination. Standing in the water is about all you can do when there are several people around.

The rooms were not worth what they’re charging. Tiny rooms and the air was messed up. This is one Holiday Inn Express I’d never recommend to anyone. Rude service people, run you down to get in the elevator BEFORE the customers.

Good place to stay. Short trip to the beach, close to several reataurants. Our room was clean and the staff was friendly. Good location.

The front desk and room service staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They delivered more towels to our room upon request immediately. Check in was a breeze as an IHG rewards memeber. For the location, it's hard to beat the price of this hotel. Make sure to visit the Outlet Mall and Lambert's Cafe if you're the area. If you need any essential items, there's a Walmart and Publix nearby. I can't express how convenient the location of this hotel made my stay.

Quiet place away from heavy traffic. Service is great. Right behind Crackel Barrel and short distance from food and entertainment.

These are good clean rooms… at a fair price.

Problems from check in to check out with this hotel. They double charged my account and have yet to refund my money or explain to me why it was taken in the first place when I paid for my reservation prior to arrival at the hotel. Go next door to Hampton Inn or somewhere else and save yourself the trouble.

Great place to stay! Not too far from the beach… close to shopping! Bed is a little hard. But awesome customer service! Especially at breakfast! She spoke to everyone and helped like we're family!

I found the staff to be very accommodating and the hotel was amazing. The smell of the hotel was inviting. The location is within minutes of food and shopping. We were literally in the heart of the town and not to mention the room and comfort of the bed was so comfortable, I almost forgot I was not in my own bed… I would definitely come back.

Location is convenient to outlet stores, restaurants, and owa amusement park. Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are only 10-15 minutes away. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was welcoming and hospitable. Breakfast consisted of the typical continental choices.

Called on Friday afternoon to make reservation for Friday night (last minute, emergency stay). Reservation clerk spent more time trying to sell some sort of membership than making reservation. Later that night when we got motel to check in, only one person at counter, stood in line for 20 minutes, he said we didn't have a reservation. Showed him confirmation email, turns out that they made the reservation for Thursday night (the night before). Why would I want a room for yesterday? Of course they didn't have the room requested (1 room, 2 beds) but we could get 2 rooms each with 1 king bed for more than double the money. Amazingly, just as we were leaving to go somewhere else, the phone rang and (miracle of miracles) someone called and cancelled their reservation (yeah, sure) for just the room we had asked for. So, after an hour of aggravation, we finally got the room we needed. And once we got it, it was a clean, comfy room. To say that your customer service SUCKS would be to over rate it!

Came in for the NSA World Series. Clean rooms with amazing cold air ☃️ and very nice Property. The staff and cleaning ladies were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good (although I prefer bacon it's hard to find on a hotel bar) but the breakfast employee was friendly and kept the area very clean and stocked. Pool is small, which is ok, because most people are gone to the ocean. Lots of restaurants, shopping nearby and the beach is only 20 minutes away. Would most definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

We stayed 8 nights and absolutely loved it! The staff was the best! Best experience we have EVER had staying at hotels! We have been home a few days and already miss all the staff there! Defiantly want to go back!

Friendly and accommodating staff! Reasonable rates. Clean, comfortable and well-kept rooms and facilities. Location is close and near to well-known and area famous restaurants, national chain and outlet retail shopping, attractions, entertainment, the beaches and ball fields. High speed internet but few in-room outlets.

The room was as expected. Nothing fancy. I stayed in a double queen room. My biggest complaint is that the staff was less than understanding or empathetic. I am a truck driver and my schedule is drive overnight, sleep during the day. A coworker stays here weekly and suggested it. When I tried to check in at 5am I was originally told that there was no availability. When I told him that I checked the availability just hours earlier he found a room for me. By federal law, a truck driver must be off duty for 10 hours. When I tried to book for 1 day I was told to check out by 11am. That being less than 10h required by law he said my only option was to book 2 nights. So, I check in at 5am and I'll check out at 3pm but pay for 2 nights? Great job sticking it to those that have no options. I'll continue using other Holiday Inn chain locations but this place will never get my business again.

VERY NICE CLEAN HOTEL! The accommodations were very nice the beds are so comfortable!. Soft white cotton sheets and comforter, exceptional! The pool and Hot Tub area nice, clean and accessible. The Staff are very friendly. Breakfast is served from 6:30-9:30am. The location is great for shopping the awesome for the HUGE "Tanger Outlet Stores". And so many other places. We were there (primarily) to enjoy the annual Hot Air Ballon Festival. I was very disappointed! It was NOT well organized!, so as to gain optimum exposure of ballons. When tickets were purchased (on-line) we could have been advised of the weekend's COMPLETE Schedule, and planned our trip to better accommodate, the whole event. Saturday Night, final (& only) time we saw the ballons it was a nightmare getting to the event. Leaving was worse! We sat in "a field" for more than an hour and half, GRID-LOCKED — Couldn't get out. Finally we called the local police! (Many other complaints had also been received). Another 45 min until we could move! The event needs to review protocol and adjust for LARGE CROWDS, and advertise the events schedule for travelers such as us, who drove 3.5 hours to attend. I've been to Foley to shop the Outlets before, stayed at same Hotel! Enjoyed our visit. This time the visit not as pleasurable! The Festival needs to get a NEW Planning committee. The current one is lousy and absolutely the worst planning of the worst of all committees!

Holiday Inn Express is a go to hotel for us always neat and clean. When we tried to check in this past Saturday our room wasn't ready along with at least a half dozen people. The gentleman working said it would be another 15 min. Which isn't bad but by then more people were inline. So I stood inline with others that were told another few minutes while new people who came after us were checking in, didn't seem fair. The line took at least a half hour to get to the desk.

Nice, quiet, and convenient. Great exposure to wherever you would like to go or things to do.

Rooms age clean and beautiful. Great complimentary breakfast. It haa a pool and hot tub very nice.

Rooms are very clean, staff is friendly and courteous, continental breakfast was good it had a variety of things to choose from. I would stay here again, there is shopping and plenty of restaurants nearby.

Watch out. If you are reserved on a corporate account, she charged MY VISA card instead of my companies. Meg was her name. I never before had been required to pay a deposit, was her excuse, on a corporate account; she said it was for incidentals; then she charged MY card for the room? Meg had a demeanor of malice.

Absolutely perfect! Staff is wonderful, rooms are quiet and spacious, and best of all there is a fridge in the one I stayed in! Very well played!

This hotel is very very clean and very modern I loved the bathroom it also had alot of space and the staff were great! I would totally recommend staying. Although the breakfast wasn't really that great atleast it's very clean.

I got here today and checked in. The Lobby smell so inviting I could stay and watch TV all day. The rooms are very nice and clean inside. The hallways and everything seem well kept. This is a great spot thats closer to everything. They have great Wi-Fi access. I will come back.

The staff was very Nice. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. Breakfast is for American conditions. Wi-Fi fast enough. For the price you can't expect more.
