We travel full time for work, so we've seen a lot of hotels. While I will say that this was one of the nicer Econo Lodges we've stayed at, it was unfortunately just not that great. The good: Staff was friendly and accommodating, the location was good, there was plenty of parking, and the room was clean and updated. The not so good: We found a MASSIVE spider in our bathroom in the middle of the night. This may seem insignificant, but it definitely made sleeping much more difficult. The blackout curtains had several holes in them, the beds were not very comfortable and made a lot of noise, and the air conditioner was super noisy and consistently clicking. All in all, we would stay again if we had to, but it definitely wouldn't be a first choice.

Location on first floor was nice, not a great view. This place actually had soft towels and comfortable beds, which I have found not a lot of places have. Breakfast had a wide variety and lasted a good amount of time (4-5 hours). Room was very clean and nicely lit. Not too much room, but was only sleeping in room so was not a problem for us. There were 4 people, including me, who stayed in the same room. Wake up call did not work. Fridge in the room worked nicely. There was an ice machine nearby. The Wi-Fi was really nice and uncomplicated also, since it didn't need a password. Staff was also really friendly and helpful. Overall, a really nice place to stay!

The hotel was really nice when my family started using this hotel for our family for our family reunion but it seems to be going down… doesn't seem to be kept up.

Rude, long wait, got the wrong room and it was never fixed nor charged cotrectly. Never again.

I have been painting the rooms and in so have got to know some good people that work there they have been very helpful thru the entire process they have a great professional attitude and service to there guests.

Hotel is WAY over priced. Not very clean and for $130 plus tax a night … bad. They need to put some decent light bulbs in the fixtures and lamps … hell you can barely see in the room after dark. Try somewhere else in town.

No hot water half the days we were here! Complained and they would "reset" it… lukewarm at best. Only 3 other cars in the parking lot and we were the only people on the entire 2nd floor.

Very disappointing! TV did not work when I arrived! Disappointing breakfast! No eggs, dried out gravy, poor selection of bread and no skim milk. Very rude desk clerk at check out!

Will not be staying there again didn't have hot water to take a shower before checking out.

If stayed in 5 star hotels many times This place was great The staff was the friendliest I've ever met Rooms were clean and fresh I'd stay here again Price was very reasonable.

I would definitely be staying here again really nice rooms courteous staff the Wi-Fi didn't work all that great though other than that really nice place to stay with great large truck parking.

Cost was 80.00 a night, bed was hard, broken, rooms need painting.

Clean rooms, cheap price, very friendly staff. Even washed and folded a bag of clothes for us so we didn't have to venture out to a laundry-mat. If you're in Demopolis, and need a place to stay, this is the place. Breakfast was included, and although it wasn't my kind of breakfast, the kids enjoyed the donuts and waffles. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they were a little slow on checking in and because their billing system charged us for an additional room that we did not book.
