It was perfect for a quick overnight trip! The kids LOVED the indoor pool and the breakfast was great!
Rooms were super nice and clean and the staff is friendly and were gracious enough to accommodate a late check out!
Location is great too! Close to grocery and restaurants!

We enjoyed our stay. They offered wonderful service and clean rooms. Would definitely recommend.

Checked into our hotel to find standing water and mold growing in the bathroom. Checked with management to attempt to move rooms and they refused to give us another room but would “fix the problem”. After going to dinner they said they had cleaned the water off the floor and handled the mold smell. Neither were done. Needless to say we packed up, got our money back, and checked in at another hotel that night. Would not recommend.

This was our first time in Gulf Shores and we stayed at the Quality Inn! We were pleasantly surprise with the hotel! It was clean and the bed was very, very comfortable! The breakfast was great! We had eggs, sausage, waffles, pastries, breads, bagels, etc… and on the weekends they added bacon on top of the other breakfast items the already had! There was one lady in particular that was very nice taking care of the breakfast area, Louisa! Thank you for your hospitality! Louisa was friendly and outgoing every morning we saw her in the breakfast room! There was also another lady who was very nice Karen! She was also very nice and helpful when we asked about the area and restaurants! Her and Louisa made our stay very pleasant! Only a thing couple things I would say need to be done in the room… it needed to have a couch or some chairs for people to sit on. We had a King room with one King bed and no other place to sit but the chair by the desk. We had a remodeled room with hard wood floors. The floors could have been cleaned better, our feet got dirty from walking barefoot in the room, from the minute we got there and took off our shoes. I don’t think they mopped the floor when they cleaned the room before we got there. The rooms were quite large but not enough seating, otherwise we were very happy with our stay at Quality Inn! I rate this Quality Inn 3.5 out of 5! Thank You again we were happy with our stay there!

Rooms are outdated and smell, not of smoke but filth. Non smoking hotel but our room has cigarette burns on tub and toilet. Sheets not put on bed properly, dirty pillow cases. TV extremely small. The pool and hot tub area looks dirty as well. For $150 a night you would think they would clean better and update the place. Very disappointed.

Everything is great except there is a smell of mildew in all of the rooms. But, the rooms are clean, they offer hygiene products if you have forgotten them, the parking is ample, and the beach is a short 5-minute drive. There are plenty of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. Overall, great hotel but the mildew sorta ruined it for us to be honest.

Fresh, clean, not far from the beach and main strip. Excellent breakfast! Friendly staff. Indoor pool and hot tub. Great cleaning service. No smoking, including vape.

The staff was friendly, and the location was great, but that’s about all for this hotel. Our first night the sink clogged. The shower never drained fast enough, and there was no water pressure as well as a shower knob that when turning would cut the water off, so you had to keep messing with it to get a good temp. They took care of the sink the next morning and looked at the shower but didn’t fix it. The bathroom had a constant old pee smell. The wall next to one bed looked like it had been kicked all over and was so dirty. The beds were not clean. They were stained up and we had to request new bedding for both beds. The beds squeaked so if you moved everyone in the room heard it. The room never got cold even if we left it on all day while we were out. The breakfast isn’t exactly what we expected and it ended too early at 9am. People are on vacation and don’t want to wake up early. They had no fruit. Waffle makers were good and they had some breads. The eggs were the frozen patty type as well as the sausage so they were just warmed up, so I would say mediocre. The second night our smoke alarm blared for three times and then just stopped around 1am and woke us up. No smoke/building on fire etc. The second night our room phone rang around 12am and woke us up. Don’t know who would’ve called except maybe the front desk. And when I picked up no answer! Overall never felt clean at this place and wasn’t a great experience. Would not recommend or stay here ever again!

Great place to stay! Convenient location to beaches, activities, sports complex, and restaurants. Nice indoor pool & hot tub, and nice clean room.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! Beds were so uncomfortable we were up tossing and turning all night not only that there was loud banging all night when we asked the desk clerk if he could ask them to tone it down he said if they come down then he would ask them but never addressed the situation resulting in us leaving a day early. The smell through the hotel was terrible. The hotel was not kept well hallways filthy pool Area disgusting. Any time we needed towels we had to go to the front and get them ourselves. Bedding was never changed even after us asking. Do yourself a favor and do not book here.

Joey was our most pleasant front desk clerk. My girlfriend and I was there and this guy was friendly and amazing. The hotel was clean and well worth the money we paid to Lodge there.

This hotel seems on the verge of total failure. Our room chair was broken (missing a wheel) so it would throw you out of it any second. The toilet wobbled when you sat on it. The shower didn't drain fast enough for the shower. Walls are very thin! The pool room was always out of pool towels and was insanely muggy and gross feeling. The breakfast was meager, no fruit. Plenty of bread choices, powdered eggs and some breakfast meat. Room service comes around at 8 in the morning! So if you are still sleeping they wake you up, and if you're not out of your room by then I guess you won't be getting your room cleaned that day. The staff was fairly friendly but couldn't print me a receipt or do any room management stuff because their computers were frozen/down/too slow. My room ended up costing more than when I booked it. There is a reason it's the cheapest place around!

My husband and I checked in late & last minute and did not have a prior booking. We were exhausted and just wanted somewhere to stay with a decent price. When we got to the front desk the receptionists were so welcoming and kind! They accommodated to our every need and want. They went above and beyond for us that night to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Definitely would recommend!

Arrived and looked to see if floors were clean since most complaints was about the floors. They looked fine. Rooms looked redone and new but the second night they had termites coming from the walls. They said they would called for pest control. They moved me to a suite but the suite was ok. The tube didn't work and made it hard on us since there was 5 of us in the room. I did sleep good, close to the beach, close to restaurants and the venue I was attending.

The floors were filthy, had to wear shoes in my hotel room the entire time. Booked a king size room, it was lacking in furniture. There was 1 chair and the bed and a desk. There was an entire wall just empty with no decor. The bathroom was gross, stains behind the toilet. They advertised their bathrub as some special feature but it was just a standard tub. There was no trash can in the restroom. It smelled wierd and was gross. The front desk people were nice. The pool and hot tub were also gross, needed to be cleaned and had no spare towels. The hot tub was broken so it was just like a warm bath. Overall the stay wasn't pleasant.

When we got here It looked good until we noticed that the floor had not been swept and when you walk in the bathroom the door looks like evidence of a bad fight or a murder scene. The sink water nozzle was broke and the hair dryer didn't work. It wasn't worth the money at all. I told the people I was staying with as soon as we walked in that this hotel looks like an American Horror Story set. They also told us no pets, which wasn't a problem because we're not animal people, but as soon as we opened the door to leave a dog tried to get into our room.

Room was great! But my check in and check out was horrible. Arrived at 1:00am to check in went over my paperwork the clerk then stated my two nights stay was 549.98 I then told her no it's 345.98 this clerk still put a hold on my card in the amount of 549.98. When checking out it was a big mix up seem like no listens very well. When asked for a receipt of the transaction it read I was charged one price but once I called my card to recheck they had ran it through for 50 dollars extra… Breakfast need to be upgraded… I will not be back to visit this hotel and none under their umbrella.

Room was not bad. Although, room smelled like vomit, we tried cleaning the floors and the smell just lingered all over the room. Floors were dirty. Bathroom was dirty, especially the toilet. Not enough toilet paper. Beds were nice. A plus was the breakfast and indoor pool. Staff was pleasant. We would stay there again, but without the horrible funk of vomit.

We've been here since Friday afternoon. Today is Sunday night and they still haven't cleaned our rooms. Adjoining rooms with 4 kids and it smells like feet every time we walk in the door. So this afternoon I ASKED them if they would clean and leave us towels etc… the front desk lady said it would take a little while to get to us but she'd def send someone up. "No problem, as we will be gone the rest of the day and thank you! " Came in just now at 9 pm… NOTHING! Just wow. Pool smells like fish tank. Location is ok but that's about it.

It was a pleasant stay good breakfast. There was some loud neighbors early in the evening but settled down come time for bed. There was a piece of crown molding missing and the art on the wall was missing.

Dated upon entry of building. Staff friendly. Room was clean. The major complaint with the stay was the bathroom smelled like urine. Very disappointed. First time ever encountering this. It's very important to keep the entire hotel Clean… Step it up management.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is decorated beautifully. The rooms are accommodating and clean. The breakfast is wonderful. The pool and Jacuzzi indoors is great for children for some adult relaxation. This hotel is off the gulf so there is low traffic, but it is still close to most attractions and the beach! There is a Walgreens, Burger King, Grocery store, etc. Within walking distance as well!

Best place around for the money. I like the indoor pool if only there were a way to keep it sanitary without the bleach smell.

As soon as I reach the hotel, I noticed that the outside looked fairly nice. This was not the case for the 2 rooms I checked into. They both had an overpowering smell of mold and mildew. Upon requesting a room change, they instantly got very defensive and made it very clear that they do not offer refunds. After explain that isn't what I was asking for, they assigned me a new took that also smelled terrible. They are definitely other hotels in the area that are roughly the same price that and better quality. My advice would be to check out one of those.

The has been the nicest Quality Inn I have stayed in by far. The bed and room was comfortable. It was clean and we'll taken care of. Toilet wasn't the cheap kind. The closet and bathroom door could use a coat of paint, but otherwise a great stay and great location.

The location, run, and service was fine and was just what I needed. The only complaint I have is that the room felt damp.

Room was good but when we needed extra towels they didn't have any available because they were all currently being washed v.

The rooms are nice but not for the cost. The pool entire pool room where the sauna is and hot tub needs maintenance neither one works and the exhaust vents went working so it's stuffy and hard to breath. But it also has a standard breakfast.

I really liked the location. It was close to shops, restaurants, beach yet a pretty quiet area. The room was nice, comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful. Had a good variety for breakfast.

The room was really nice and the staff was great. I booked for the indoor pool due to the storm. When we got to the pool, the hot tub was out of order and the sauna looked like it hasn't worked in years. The pool was so dirty you couldn't see to the bottom and there were tons of wads of hair floating around in it. Gross!

The wait to check in took longer then it should. There was only one person working check-in and after a long wait the manager came to assist. The first room we were assigned apparently had some kind of water leak and there was water all over the floor. The manager then gave us the room next door, which had old stained carpet. The indoor pool area had a water hose on the floor which was overfilling the pool. The hot tub had an out of order sign posted and was extremely dirty. The towel rack was empty and dirty wet towels were left on tables. The exhaust fan in the pool area was so loud, that it was hard to hear anything else. The breakfast area was over-crowed. The food was minimal. Only one toaster and one waffle maker available. I waited 35 minutes and still was unable to use the waffle maker. When I spoke to the manager about it, she was rude and said "what do you want me to do, build a new bigger breakfast room". She went on the say that she is aware that it is crowed and could not do anything about it. I advised her that instead of building a new room, she may consider adding another toaster or waffle maker to ease the wait time. After that conversation, I decided that I did not want to stay at this hotel any longer, and canceled the rest of my stay. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a quality inn hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay at one of the many hotels right on the beach; much nicer rooms and much better service.

Hotel was very clean, smelled good, and very very conveniently located. We did not have to drive no more than 3 miles each day because everything was located ideally from the hotel. We stayed two nights in a king room for two people. The rating of 4 is due to the bathroom of our room. When booking, we were informed the hotel was going under some renovation. The room was clearly updated; hard wood floors, very pretty marble top vanity, up to date furniture and linens, and a refrigerator and microwave. We have stayed at pricier places with hardly any of that (especially a fridge and microwave). The bathroom may have been on a list to be done but during our stay it was not updated. The doorknob to the bathroom was broke, the shower knob was broke and hard to work (didn't know which way was cold or hot either), the toilet had to be jiggled in order to fully flush, and parts of the tile floor was broken. These are things that didn't hurt our stay but would have been nice to see completed with the room. We hope to return and hopefully see these things updated!

I recommend not to stay here. Stayed 3 weeks and room was cleaned maybe three times!

Warning. Employee Stole my credit card number and charged $63.05 for pizza on it. We stayed at the Magnuson Inn 213 W Fort Morgan Road Gulf Shores, Al. on September 19, 20 &21 2016. We have stayed there several times with no problems. However the property has been sold since our last visit and different people work there now. Until I found about the theft (when I got home) everything was fine. The staff was friendly, the price was right and I could bring my 2 small dogs. If you decide to stay there pay with CASH! Then you won't have to go through what I am at the bank. New cards etc.

Not at all as it seemed on Priceline. I booked a king size bed room and when I arrived they told me there weren't any available due to a water leak. The room was a good size but had a weird odor to it. No one ever came to clean or replace towels. I came in late one night and the lady at the desk asked what I was doing there (racial profiling). As if I couldn't afford this terrible hotel! The floors were dirty and the hot tub didn't work! The best thing about this place was the location. But I would avoid this place if I knew how bad it was!

I heard that they are getting better, and I sincerely hope they clean the place up. My husband and I came here and then left to a different hotel in April 2016 at 8 pm at night. I very much hope that they shampoo the carpets and clean the elevators and replace the shower curtains and leave cleaning materials in the room for people to use. We were just so worried about the cleanliness of the bed, and the weird feel of the room, that we couldn't stay.

We stayed at this hotel 2 nights, the staff was really nice, anything we needed they were happy to help. The room was clean but the shower curtain was torn and the sheets were stained. The floor in the room was wood so it was clean but the hallway carpet was dirty. There is no arcade but the pool room is nice. Breakfast was also really good. There is cereal, bagels, waffles, different breads, and milk, coffee, and juice. The juice is not good at all but the rest of it was great.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I understand it's a cheap hotel near the beach, but it is worth spending the extra money to stay somewhere CLEAN! The room was filthy! We did not have a fridge or microwave. There were no towels and when I asked for more I was blatantly told there weren't any and wouldn't be for a while. This happened both nights of my stay and the staff was very unapologetic. Also, upon checkout, the girl working the front desk was very rude. I didn't expect a five star stay, but a clean room with towels is the bare minimum.
