One of the worst hotels we've ever been in! First impression was okay. But when we arrived at 21:15 we couldn't get any food until midnight. The reception send us into the town te get some food (nice surprise after traveling for abount 10 hours). After a 'good' night sleep (the beds were like a rock) we went downstairs to get some breakfast. That's where we noticed that the dining area is terrible. First of all you have to get your own drinks. No problem you would think, but only one bar is open with one or two staff members. Further more it took forever for tables to be cleared away and set with new cutlery. Other staff members work to hard (or don't care) and take away plates while you are still eating. The room we stayed in was okay, but cleaning is also terrible. In one week time they forget to put towels back in our room three times, so we called the reception for new towels. But when they didn't come after 45 minutes, I went downstairs to get them myself. Last thing I want to comment negatively is the Wi-Fi. If you can get a connection (which is rarely) you often still don't have any internet. Only at the pool bar the connection was fairly stable. There are two positive things which earns the two stars. The staff at the pool and beach bar where great, and the variety of drinks they can make (including cocktails) are plenty. In our vacation we spoke to a few people who went to this hotel several times. Most of them will not return because of the same experience we had. The locals we met at our diving trip told us the ownership has changed this year, and since then the reviews of this hotel went down. If we paid 400 euros less, the rating would be better (because our expectations would be less). It's not worth the price thay ask, and there are cheaper hotels that offer better service.
