Review of Delphin BE Grand Resort 5*

I'm going to start off by listing the cons of my experience with this hotel. My friends and I all experienced theft from the cleaning ladies. 90 euros and articles of clothing were taken from us, and the guest relations people did nothing about it. They kept saying they would look into it and let us know, but they barely took a report and never got back with us. We didn't even receive any sort of compensation, or even a simple apology. Secondly, the service here is terrible. Waiters kept spilling drinks on my friends, and we would receive dirty looks as if it was out fault. Rude workers, dirty dishes and glasses at the buffet, and we had to on multiple occasions call for maintenance work to be done in our room because everything kept breaking (shower drain didn't drain, shower door broke off track, ac stopped working). Often we had to call multiple times because maintenance wouldn't show up. Also, my friends and I were harassed by certain staff members. We had a waiter who would not leave my friend alone because he wanted her number, even though we asked him to leave us alone many times. It wasn't until we yelled at him for spraying my friend with champagne on purpose that he started to keep a little distance. We also received multiple calls at all times of the night from men asking how old we were, and what we were doing. HOWEVER, all of this aside, due to the many amenities of this hotel, my friends and I mostly enjoyed our stay. So if you do chose to stay here, THESE ARE MY RECOMMENDATIONS: put ALL valuables in the safes they provide. Bring luggage locks, and don't leave anything you don't want stolen out of your luggages when you leave the room. Don't expect good service from anyone. Watch your back, and don't walk alone anywhere. Unplug your phone at night. NEVER give out your room number, especially to workers.
