The hotel location is good but not great, but that’s about the only recommended thing about it. While the staff were friendly and spoke decent English, the hotel product offering is modest and has poor value for money, cutting corners are evident everywhere. Towels are old, bathroom amenities are refilled only if you ask, and lobby service is understaffed and poorly delivered. Pricing is quoted in Euros, despite having booked the room in Lira, and paid the equivalent of Euro upon checking out. The currency fluctuation was born by the guests. The hotel is not appealing at all to have your meals at, there are great local restaurants within 2 miles radius.

Hi, I am Elsayed Ibrahim from Egypt. I have stayed in the hotel for 4 days with my family at room 309. As I am a traveller I can tell the difference between the hotels. This one is amazing. The reception gents are professionals. The breakfast was good, room size was perfect. If I will back one day to Istanbul, this will be my destination.

One of the best hotels that I stayed in, the staff are helpful and friendly, I loved the nice touches that show their attention to details, loved the balcony of the room. Everything was perfect. Would definitely go there again.

I have reserved 2 rooms, Sea view, it's really amazing view more than said in website, but city view is not, unfortunately, no more rooms to have one form my kids on sea view. Rooms are so clean, staff are super kindness, breakfast is tens of dishes, parking, area is quiet, far a way 2 minutes from Eyup Sultan Mosque. I advise others, I will come again. Thanks.

Excellent location to the most of Istanbul. Front Desk staff where so friendly, professional and welcoming. Overall, I guess the price was valuable and really worth it.

Total disgrace, the room stank with an old cleaning mop. The service at the lounge bar, no comment, waited for 40 mins for wine/food (no one else in the "restaurant"), food itself remained street catering not 5-star hotel dish. The bill was overcharged as there were two menu cards with different prices. The day after at 11 pm the lounge was closed at all… don't waste time going there. Hardly ever I am so disappointed…

Lovely, friendly hotel. Rooms are excellent, really clean and well-appoined. Superior rooms overlook the Bosphorous. Looking forward to staying here again.

Good location for business trip. Sound proof can be ameliorate as well as the in room breakfast. Good spa but small gym and steaming room not functional. I’m here since a week and the roof top is not open and no one in the hotel can give you a correct about that.

Mövenpick is usually good but this hotel is not. As far as how well it's kept it is not a mövenpick standard we are used to. The location is definitely inconvenient far from anything and everything really a waste of time easy to miss right of the highway depending from where you are coming back to the hotel you will have a long trip u turn to arrive back to the hotel. Bad location. Let me clarify one thing the strong perfume that the lobby tries to mask the reality of the sewer smell that's continuously coming from outside is really a bad experience. We were given a room how can I describe broken shower head, dirty bathroom and chichacharcoal burn on the carpet we brought that to their attention and this was taking care of we were given a much nicer room. As bad as this started we asked to leave and get a refund of course our wish was not granted. Breakfast was descend espresso not included as I am used to in other Mövenpick In general the service was nice.

I stayed in movenpick golden horn for one week. This first time for me and definitely not the last one and I will come back again. Excellent hotel in every thing (breakfast, room, housekeeping, view). They did upgrade for me from city view to sea view. I want to give special thank to the receptionist who was very helpful.

Cleanliness of the rooms aren't done very well. Toilet cleaning, bed linens, towel etc are dealt with much carelessness. Other than that, everything else like staff, services etc was quite satisfactory. All the staff in the reception area are very polite.

Nice place. Kind of in the middle of nowhere but the staff is so helpful even at 3am I got the help I needed when I was sick. Also security helped us when a taxi driver tried to scam us. Very comfy beds and good food in general.

The stay in the Hotel was good, reception was very friendly. We had dinner once in the restaurant and the service wasn't the quickest. We waited almost an hour for pasta and a burger even though it wasn't a busy evening. The meal itself again was good. The hotel is quite a bit from downtown, but keeping that in mind I can definitely recommend the hotel. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Movenpick, Hotel Staff are very helpful even with their limited english. Breakfast isn't the best but it's ok. The location is excellent if you are a family with kids since there are many attractions for kids around. Choose a sea side view family room as the view is excellent.

With its location on seaview in the golden horn I think it's an ideal place for we can couples on family I tried with affordable price on friendly stuff especially the spa massage on Turkish her mom I highly recommend for everyone who want to spend nice moments in a Istanbul.

(+) Free valet parking (+) Free Gym, Sauna and Hamam. (+) Nice room and somehow comfortable bed. There are choices for different pillows if you don’t like your pillow. (+) Free city shuttle a couple of times a day if you don’t have a car. (-) I had a small issue with the AC and lost tickets from the room but management corrected that immediately. Thanks Fatih and Sibel.

Literally the best Hotel in Istanbul, after our first stay, we haven't changed hotels. Professional and pleasant staff, very comfortable and clean rooms, great room service and utterly delicious food. All of that makes a great hotel, one of the best in Istanbul indeed. I would like to thank the management team, because without them this wouldn't be possible, I ran into the hotel manager and he is a really nice person and clearly is passionate about what he is doing. Well done!

The best hotel in Eyup, the Breakfast was perfect. And the services in the hotel are very great! Rooms standard or deluxe are very good. Big and modern! Clean hotel, with high class services / security.

Poor room service. Choice of dining are limited. Bad house keeping in room. The only thing that shows the hotel is five star hotel is the location.

The best part is the view from the room. Istanbul in itself is no less than a painting. So picturesque, beautifully decorated, very friendly staff, fast room service, cozy bed, great food.

Its right on the golden horn area. With friendly staff, very clean rooms and all areas, good food, good services, and I have a very good stay in there.

If you are intrested in sightseeing the hotel is a bad alternativ. It is situated 10km outside the center. It takes up to one hour by bus or taxi to get in town. The shuttle service of the hotel is a bad opertunity. The desk is uninformed. Reservation of taxi and shuttle where ignored.

Good service and near to many sightseeing places.
