Where to start… I was getting married in Istanbul and booked this hotel 8 months before, for the night of my wedding (wedding venue nearby) and for a couple of nights after as a mini moon. I did a lot of research into the best hotels in the area as I wanted something special for my husband and I on our special day. I remind you I had booked this 8 MONTHS BEFORE! 5 days before the wedding we were driving past the hotel and my husband and I stopped by reception, paid one nights deposit and the gentleman on reception showed us the room that we would be staying in. It was right on the water, spacious and everything we expected it would be. The receptionist even said that as they were a honeymoon couple they would be given extra treats. (This never happened. We were lucky to have water the next day) We explained that on the day of the wedding there would be three girls plus the bride getting their hair done as the hair dresser was coming to the hotel. The receptionist said this was fine and not a problem at all. Well, on Wednesday while I was getting my hair done (as I was having a photo shoot on that day) my husband told me that there was a problem with the hotel as they had overbooked and were offering an alternative in the attic. My sister (maid of honour) drove over immediately and the receptionist told us that there had been a mistake and that they had oversold the room.

It’s hard to know where to begin with this awful story. When she found this hotel she sent me pictures all excited saying that this is where she wanted to stay. She booked the hotel 8 MONTHS in advance (this is relevant later). 5 days before the wedding we were driving past the hotel and my sister and her fiancé said let us show you where we are staying. We stopped by reception, paid one nights deposit and the gentleman on reception showed us the room that they would be staying in. The restaurant is amazing (the view, food, music and the staff)

Nice place for a wedding, hwr it wasnot possible to see the bosphorus from the backyard.

Perfect wedding organizations, nice, convenient hotel with helpful staff.

Pleasant staff. Breakfast was pretty good. We had the sea view room; there was a lot of street noise, and voices. Nice to have complimentary, water, tea and coffee in the room. Parking is off site, but not far.
