We liked the hotel very much due many facts: near Levent metro station, very big room, perfect lounge with great food, incredible view from 18th floor, very good breakfast, nice surprise from staff as we found a birthday cake in the room.

It was bad experience for me and My family with this hotle, we booked room for 6 night in 5 stars hotel in two different reservations but the service was very bad from hotel staff, first they delayed us during check in about one hour. The is no tea or coffee on room unless you order it moreover, when you request service they are bad to respond. Room furniture was not in good shape and need to be renewed. Furthermore, hotel not allowing us bring any kind of food or drinks (even water or fresh juice) to our room and they armed body guard on gates to catch you up if your bags have some sandwiches LOL. Please do not put this hotel on your list on Istanbul there are many hotels have good service and worth to spend money for 5 stars hotel.

Staff were courteous and good, breakfast was good as well. But hotel policy of no outside food, with lodgers being turned back at the entrance, is a No-No for me, and Mövenpick Istanbul is actually the first hotel I will experience this, in all the various hotels I've had to stay in around the world (And I travel quite a bit). Even when I stayed in Mövenpick Ibn Battuta, Dubai back in May this year, this policy didn't exist. So I was kind of shocked to experience this here. Would I recommend Mövenpick? I probably would, but would mention that policies vary across various Mövenpick locations, as there could be some restrictions and one would want to confirm and be certain before making choices.

Sadly I cannot recommend this hotel in Istanbul. It lacks the customer service and 5 star trimmings of a hotel which claims to be 5 star. To get 5 stars, the hotel needs to: 1) Train staff to meet and greet guests with courtesy and respect. This is not often the case with younger members of the front desk showing poor guest etiquette. 2) Ensure there is an iron and ironing board in each room or deliver within 5 minutes. I waited 25 minutes to receive mine at 7am in the morning. 3) When a request is made to speak to the management, the management should be proactive in making themselves available instead of delegating matters to junior team members. It does get 2 stars for the cleanliness of the rooms and the quality of the furniture. However it is not a 5 star hotel at this time.

I admire the great employee ALPER he is a very helpful man a great welcoming man & he is a very elegant man. Generally speaking about the hotel, it is one of the best hotels over the world. Great welcoming a very clean place, well put organization. Offers great delicious fresh food. All services are considered more than five stars. Prices are affordable. As much as could say I would not reach the greatness of this Great Hotel.

Professional staff and great hospitality. The rooms are clean and smell good, with all the right amenities. Try a high floor overlooking the city and you wont regret it. The breakfast has excellent variety ro please every dietary restriction and with great tasting options. Overall great stay.

Professional service. Elegant rooms although quite old with damaged furniture. Restaurant in the ground floor and club with terrace on the rooftop with spectacular 180 degree views. Restaurant is acceptable despite is short in desserts, only big spectacular ones. Continental breakfast is quite good with a mix of European and Asian and they can provide soya milk by request. Many guest amenities for free in the room although you have to pay 12 TL to use 1 capsule of Nespresso. Worst was that my shower wasn't working well and was throwing out dirty bad-smelling water.

I feel confident. As for a frequent hotel guest. Restaurant and room service was excellent. I think these are far more than enough.

I picked to stay in this hotel as I stayed in the Movenpick in Dubai so I knew it was a good hotel. Having coming to Turkey to have surgery which was daunting on itself I hoped my 11 night stay at the hotel wouId be reassuring and it was. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was great along with room service and housekeeping. One of the managers Tansu always made sure I was ok and if I needed anything. The rooms were very clean. I am a very fussy person and I can’t find one fault with my stay at this hotel. I will definitely stay here again.

I travel quite a bit around the world as part of my job, but I have not had such a positive 'hotel-experience ' EVER. The only thing that I would change if I could are the mattresses and the pillows. Both of them are a bit too soft, giving me a back ache. One of the pillows could be smaller, more spongy and more firm for a better sleep. But really, I have not felt so. Looked after in any other hotel around the world as here. Food is amazing, service outstanding, rooms beautiful modern and very comfortable.

Movenpick hotel is such a good place away from home. What should be improved on will be around the restaurant, in terms of food options. Make more options of food available to cover some African dishes even if its going to be on specific days of the week and let your guests have this information on those days. Thank you.

I had been there. When it's was the first visit of Istanbul to attained medical symposium for Diabetic Melites in 26-6 — 2010. Very lovely and helpful staff wide, clean, modern and comfortable rooms.

Great location. Nice service. A little bit old furniture and TV sets. Overall good experience.

Service was very good as always. We were given a room although we arrived early in the morning around 9:00hrs. Rooms are a bit old, definitely needs refurbishment. Woke up at 3:30am on Sunday and couldn't go to sleep till 6:00am because of a bunch of drunk people. The hotel manager and the staff interfered with these people 4-5 times but the best solution was to kick these people out of the hotel. Food quality was not good as before.

The room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Perfect location!

A very fine example of the Mövenpick Hotel chain. Great roof top restaurant/bar, staff were faultless and they make a fine 'bloody mary' in the foyer bar.

This is a good clean business hotel. Rooms are a good size, they have a desk and free Wi-Fi. It is a really good business hotel. In the heart of the Levent business district. Bar was good Breakfast buffet had a good choice covering most catering requirements. It was a good price and in the right areas. I would study again.

Spend 12 splendid days at Movenpick Hotel and the service was excellent at reception and especially 2 gentlemen working at the restuarant Tansu Top and Nikma. This two were showing keen interest in our everyday lives in Istanbul and advice us on the best places to go and how to get there. Real ambassadors not only for Hotel, but for the country. Next day they would enquire as to what and how we spend the previous day and what we planning for current day. They made us feel at home… thankz guyz.

The bed was so comfortable and gave me great sleep which is everything. High floor was a breathtaking view of Istanbul and minibar nicely stacked. Recommend the breakfast buffet which is the best in Turkey by far. Thanks for security made us feel extra safe. Will always return.

Stayed 2 nights here during a business trip. Very clean room. Good service and food as well. Loved the bar in the 1st floor and its outside seats.

My favorite hotel in Istanbul. The best location, close to underground the highest observation deck in Turkey, shopping mole and the distance to the airport is acceptable. I like friendliness of staff and the service hotel offers to its clients.

Absolutely my favorite Hotel in Istanbul. Location may not be perfect for tourists looking for historical/cultural highlights (though there is a subway nearby) but business and shopping wise it is perfect. Located right next to Akbank and Isbank Head Offices and not to far away from Kanyon and Istanbul Sapphire shopping malls. Rooms are high quality. Service is good. What is missing is a larger garden — but in Istanbul and at this spot having that would be a miracle :).
