From A-Z great, so far the best hotel I have visited.

Lovely small hotel in a great location — we are going back next year — would highly recommend.

A little disappointing in terms of quality of the amenities and room v cost. Adequate at best.

I'll bet a sure 3 out of 5. Still for this money would like more — a very small simple number and very weak sound insulation. The pressure in the shower is very very weak. Breakfasts are good, but end quickly and after 10 you can already get on the leftovers. Not a bad porch on the roof. Getting from the Blue Mosque is convenient on foot — that's a plus.

Excellent location. Very easy to access all the landmarks of Istanbul, Grand Bazar everything. Lovely streetside restaurants all around. Staffs, Ismail, Senior and Ismail, Junior are excellent, polite and helpful. The owner Saba is charming as well. Lovely view of Bhosphorous from the room.

Good hotel and breakfast in the centre of sultan Ahmet region. Only a bit too noisy (surrounding) in the evening. Very nice host and very helpful.

Very nice hotel with a perfect location. Staff is eager to help. The knowledge in English is limited among some of the staff members but this is made up by their willing to help out.

Family hotel, walking distance to the main tourist attractions, in a quiet side street, very friendly and helpful staff, perfect for a city break.

We came very early (0800am). Checking time was 1400 hrs. But they gave us the room and offers us breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Prime location. Many attractions are walking distance. Private roof terrace facing beach.

Amazing location: can walk to all the main sites of Istanbul's historical centre of Sultan Ahmet square. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We had a gorgeous view of the Bosphorus from our 4th floor window!

Very good place visited here with my family last week for a week away. Staff very helpful and friendly always happy to assist with directions and places to go. Would definitely return to this establishmentt.

After spending four nights at the Hotel Saba Sultan, my friend and I agreed that we made a very good choice of places to stay. We felt at home in old Istanbul. The hotel's location is excellent, it is relatively new, facilities are modern and comfortable, and the staff is always helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were good, with several choices of food, eggs cooked to order, and service-oriented staff. Although it was unseasonably cold the week we visited Istanbul, we made use of the roof terrace a few times. We originally booked a Bosphorus view room, but it was too tiny and we asked to move the next morning. Our request was graciously accommodated, and our new room was fine. The bathroom was modern and the shower was large enough to move around in. Reviews I read mentioned lack of amenities, so I was prepared. But, my friend realized that there is a drawer under the sink, above the cupboard doors. I think we are so used to fixed panels (false drawer front panels) below sinks that many of us don't even try to open them. The drawer was very well stocked with all bathroom amenities! As two American women with a complicated travel agenda, we needed a larger closet than the tiny armoire in the rooms. The hotel could relieve this problem by hanging well placed hooks in the room and bathroom for added places to put clothing and towels. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the people we encountered, in this lovely, small hotel in Sultanahmet.

Very good position, walking distance to main top attractions of the city, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, clean rooms, near to a lot of traditional restaurants, and Galata Bridge. Very good and helpful staff, basic to good breakfast, and a good roof top restaurant.

Ideal location to walk to all parties. The views from the restaurant unbeatable Hagia Sophia and great meal. Rooms correct.

We primarily booked this hotel based on location, reviews and the ability to get a family room for ourselves and our 2 daughters. We unfortunately only got to spend 2 nights here instead of our intended 3 due to a flight cancellation. After a long day of travel we were picked up at the airport in a nice van and taken to the hotel. Everyone at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We were very curious about the family room and how it was set up but it turned out to be a delight. This is an older hotel but kept up very nice and clean. Our family room (see photos) consisted of a single door that lead to a short hallway with two separate doors leading to each of the two rooms. Each room had it's own bathroom and were bigger than I had anticipated. Bed were comfortable and it was very quite at night for sleeping. Wifi was fast and easy to connect. We had the included breakfast in the roof top restaurant each morning and there was a excellent assortment of hot and cold items including fresh fruit. The location was ideal being only a 15 minute walk to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Spice Market. The tram stop was half a block away which was every convenient. We also ate at the restaurant for the two nights we were there since we had such a wonderful meal our first night and a bit jet lagged. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Istanbul.

Nice and clean double room (superior type), Hotel is located really 5 minutes walking from the blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. Good atmosphere, nice view on Bosphorus from the terrace on the roof top. Wifi was kinda a slow. Breakfast was just okey — nothing really special.

We loved this hotel and would recommend it highly. Very quiet at night and in a small side street but very close to all the sights in the old town. The staff are really friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The beds were comfortable and we had a balcony in our room. There was a small patio area where you could eat breakfast outdoors and a roof terrace with an amazing view of the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia. At tea time the staff put out free drinks and pastries in the reception area. There wasn't much storage space for clothes in the room and it would have been nice to have had a full-length mirror but these are small things compared to the overall very positive experience we had.

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel, located in the sultanahmet District 5 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque, st sophie, the topkabi Palace and tram. The staff is charming, friendly helpful, the room is clean and comfortable. Cleaning service all day (change sheets and towels), breakfast is varied.
We keep a great memory of this hotel and its staff. We will return without hesitation.
