Very nice hotel. Affable staff. Comfortable, beautiful rooms.

The location was perfect — especially to reach the metro, the tram, many restaurants and the city attractions. The room we stayed in was clean, tidy and comfortable — the view was pleasant. The breakfast buffet was delicious and they had a variety of food which they changed everyday. Same could be said for the room service food. HOWEVER, I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel where the staff had been as problematic — almost ruining our experience and stay. Firstly, when we had made the bookings, they gave us an email saying how "our rooms were booked" and "no need to call to check". Yet, we still called to confirm just in case. Then, not only did we arrive to find our 2/3 of our rooms cancelled — they where family rooms — they even made the remaining seven of us stay in one tiny suite and still charged the same amount as the family room (which was more expensive). This was only given after a long time of asking and arugmenting. They didn't even compensate us for our inconveniences. The next day we had to switch rooms and again ended up in a room that didn't meet the specification of our bookings (it was a triple room) and we were still charged the same amount as the family room (which was more expensive, still). It finally took day three for them to give us a room that met the specification of our bookings. One positive thing that could be said is that they did provide us with extra beds — however, we had to ask more than once for this and they were very slow to respond.

A good hotel, double and triple room comfortable and clean. Breakfast is quite good and assortment, the only thing that does not convince much are the sweets that are somewhat unopened. The concierge's attention is good.

Kent Hotel is an amazing place to chill out on a weekend or to shop at colorful Beyazit streets or just to hang out and see beautiful places in the district. Staff is extremely polite and helpful. Rooms are good and always clean. We have been coming here for almost 10 years and it's always a 5 stars satisfying experience.

The staff is unfriendly and uncooperative… I asked front desk one day to help me to order a pizza by the phone because I do not speak Turkish. The employee there told me that this was against the hotel policy and I had to either order dinner from hotel restaurant which they don't have it on their menu or I have go by myself outside and looking for the pizza restaurant around! — I have booked 3 rooms for me and my family … and there is no in any of them a tissue paper, I asked stuff and the manager himself promised but did not do it till I give up and bought from my own pocket. — The cooling system does not work under the pretext that the atmosphere is nice outside and do not even have a fan can be use at night or when be hot at noon — Mold on the bathroom and especially on the shower area — Beggars fill the place around the hotel especially in the evening and can not walk the night freely — The street is very busy around the hotel and it is difficult to navigate or get a taxi.

Nice hotel for its price! Good location on Tramvajke! From the minuses of Chtotnetu pool and restaurant located on 2 floor and not as in most on last floor!

Perfect and right in front of the tram to go visit the monuments.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and the location is very convenient and good. Easy access to metro station and all Istanbul attractions. Highly recommend and would use the hotel again. The room I was given was extremely quiet which was an added bonus after long busy days in Istanbul.

A cozy enough hotel with good cuisine.

Good, smart and the front office staff is very good. The disaster in the restaurant staff they behave like they don't want guests especially break fast time they must adjust even their time so as their behavior.

It's a business hotel and in a perfect location with connectivity options across Istanbul via Tram, Metro, Bus OR Taxi. Rooms are neat, food is decent, hotel staff is really cooperative and cheerful — Overall a good experience.

Very nice hotel in affordable price. Very friendly staff and due to perfect location you go easily everywhere around the city, tram station is front of this hotel, money exchange is also available on walking distance. Beside this perfect location prices are still not very expensive and whatever you spend during the stay it worth it. Free Wifi is also available also staff will help you in exploring city with their professional skills. Perfect place for honeymoon couple.

Central location. Close to many cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops and to various attractions. Kent Hotel is directly opposite a university. Delicious breakfast, helpful front desk & good housekeeping. It can however, get a little noisy at night if one doesn't close the windows as the hotel is next to the main road. Other than that, it was a comfortable stay.

Very friendly and luxurious hotel. Looks like a real five-star hotel. Very well placed right in front of the T1 tram which leads to Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet and Topkapi Palace. The ground floor is beautiful, a real place conducive to relaxation, drinking a good tea Turk in front of the busy street: The calm amidst the hustle and bustle of passersby.

My husband and I stayed at the Kent Hotel for about 5 nights before we left for our tour throughout Turkey. The Hotel itself was ok, as was the breakfast bar, but the room we stayed in was awful, I could not get any sleep, the room was so tiny, doors were slamming all hours of the night, the sheets were so stiff they felt like newspaper and were so small, they were the wrong size for the small double bed that we had, they were meant for a single bed. I could not wait to get out of the hotel. It was the most uncomfortable stay I have ever had in a hotel.

Normal Wellenberg with the pretty Croissant amenities. But staff at the nearby AKGUNE about all the same just a bit cheaper.

Poor quality breakfast and many of the listed facilities are not available. Only positive notes WI-FI free and the light rail stop leading into "downtown" in front of the hotel.
