Very bad experience, I tried this hotel 7 years ago it was wonderful. This year I came again and I think it will be the last time Very poor breakfast choices… the room is not clean at all The elevator wasn’t working And air conditioning wasn’t working in the lobby and breakfast area in the hottest month of the year (August) this is not accepted at all in 4 star hotel!

A nice hotel on the shore of Bosphorus, good food and nice restaurants around. Easy to get to the historical attractions of Sultanahmet. Nice food, nice staff. No gym or spa.

Room are ok and location is great. Maybe sometime lack of high level service and Wi-Fi is sometimes buggy. Breakfast location is great but inequal in quality.

Best hotel in Istanbul. The see view is very best. When you wake up in the morning you see a beautiful sunrise view from your window which starts your day with refreshing, beautiful, elegant nature. Must visit this place. Also the place is very near to old Istanbul places.

Everything is fine except the AC wasn't blowing air and room gets hot in summer. One other thing is the bad smell in bathroom. The glass curtain for the bath was shaky and comes off very easily and that can harm kids especially. The staff were friendly and helpful to some point. There are no room service late restaurant order no swimming pool, no spa. Its just about the view, nothing more.

Great service, nice location by the waterfront. Has a good restaurant as well, I only tried the breakfast there.

A small hotel right in the historic center of Istanbul. From the window there is a sea view which is right across the road. Good food and friendly staff. There are all conditions for conferences.

One thing is good about this hotel (location) other than that believe me it doesn’t deserve booking.

You can walk to the whole area of the Blue Mosque, well connected even with the means.

Modern Hotel located in a strategic location, behind the mosques and close to the ferry boarding.
It has a rear secondary exit that leads directly to the alleyways of old Istanbul.

All is well, English is spoken only at the front desk and some waiters.

Very nice hotel, upscale atmosphere. More expensive than meinch other hotels but who puts value on a clean and nice room paying the price. Downside is on Kennedy Street a lot of traffic and a good bit to run up Sultanahmed.

Very good hotel for tourists. Distance to airport and to main places of interest is very short. Walking distance to St. Sofia museum.

Very small rooms with very High Price + the hotel is Old but renovated You need to pay Much More Money in order to get the sea view. Otherwise, you are stock with the old houses view at the back.

Worst hotel ever! Make sure to check your fridge before you take room, they accused me of taking a water from fridge which they charged me 10 dollar for it, Counter staff are horrible… the rooms are always hot, and the bed are not comfortable, the only thing is good its that they are big rooms and free parking… anyway don't recommend.

I wanted a hotel with a view of the Bosporus — Kalyon delivered! Also a sensible hotel with a security margin as it's removed from major tourist areas yet within walking distance. I saw the little boutique hotels dotting the city and have no problems suggesting Kalyon if you like a little extra space and quiet for just 10 min. Walking from the Hagia Sophia.

One of the best located hotel at sea having best sea view. Close to Main Istanbul mosque.

In really 3 star hotel. Old furniture, shabby interior. Staff is good, location convenient. Don't waste your money, find something else.

Looking over the sea with ship traffic to the Bosphorus with the Princess islands in the background, you wonder if this is in a 12 Mio+ inhabitants metropolis. At the same time convenient to Atatürk airport and in walking distance to the tourist attractions in Sultanahmet.
