The hotel is mega central you can reach a lot on foot.
The room was small but nice and very clean. The room cleaning excellent. The bathroom very nice and well maintained very clean.
The staff more than nice and very helpful. Very committed.
Room service is also highly recommended. Very lush.

Very friendly atmosphere.

Best time ever. Fatnagul and murad were amazing. Food was tops. Accommodation was the best.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Small but well kept and clean rooms.
Excellent breakfast rooms with lots on offer.
But very important for tourists is that Dosso Dossi is very centrally located in a delightful part of old Istanbul with short walks to all the obvious attractions.
In short… Highly recommended.

The room very small and the reception man was rude and impolite and my room under the street so it's not healthy ever you feel that you can't even breath… The reception man he's realy immpolite he's look at us like street men.

Nice hotel but rooms are a bit small. I love the proximity though. It is close to sultan ahmet and aya sofia and top kapi palace.

Hotel super, breakfasts, 5 hour tea, and breakfast time.

Good location! I stayed in June maybe that’s why I found good price! I paid 56€ I think price is worthy. Good varied Turkish breakfast. Very clean and organize! Staff very friendly an helpful.

Great place to enjoy your stay in sultanahmet. Nearby you will find restaurants, cafes, even touristic places such as the blue mosque and basilica cistern in just walking distance. Service is amazing, the only thing I would recommend to work on is there room service menu and breakfast buffet.

Good location, great breakfast, free afternoon tea/coffee and evening soup. Spacious room. Very accommodating in terms of letting us leave our baggage all day after we checked out until we left for the airport.

Very small rooms. Small breakfast room you have to wait to sit down. Most rooms overlook an inner courtyard. It's not a 4-star. The only positive thing is near the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia and the palace.

Worst hotel ever for a 5 star it was the worst experince. Bad service and won't recommend it at all.

I will give this place 5 stars straight away. Location is great, you are in the heart of the old city of Istanbul where you can easily access major cultural attractions and sites by walking. You will be around 5 to 15 minutes by foot away from Aya Sofia, The Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Turkish Architect Musuem, Basilica Cistern and many many others. A tram station, Gulhane, is down the road and needs less than 5 minutes. A lot of restaurants are available nearby, whether up the hill on the same street or the streets nearby. The hotel is very clean and offer well furnished and equipped rooms. Cleanliness standard is high across all rooms and facilities. Staff is friendly and helpful. Note that not everyone in Turkey speaks English… Definitely a hotel that I will go back to. You also have two grocery stores up the street.

Very nice welcome, breakfast is any. The rooms overlooking the street are very small. But the hotel is next to everything: museums, transport, shopping … etc.

The hotel is small and not very expensive. To visit the historical centre of Istanbul (Sultanahmet) is quite suitable. No need to wait from this hotel 4 stars. By European standards, 3 stars. Nevertheless, those who stop in Istanbul on 2-3 days to see its historical attractions this hotel may prove to be a very good option.

Hotel very well located. Very good breakfast and very friendly staff. Unfortunately a couple travelling with us suffered "loss" of a jacket leather new while we were in the hotel. Even though they detected the lack of this garment before leaving the hotel, they thought that it would have been stuck between other clothes in a suitcase. They then proved that it was not. Later in Dubrovnic, conversing with the person who took care of the hotel's lobby, the same us commented that it had also visited Istanbul with a group and that something similar had happened to some members of the group. Recommendation: in istanbul must be objects that are "temptations" inside the suitcases, with the same locked!.

I gave it 2 stars just for the bill boy Yakub. This is a very used hotel in a very disturbing location. Furniture is over used and dirty, the hotel is very small with small entrance and low ceiling. So much crowd in the lobby. I really don't know why they have 9.1 rating in booking, max I would give them 5. My room was full of mosquitos. By the way when you open the window you will see a wall so don't expect to see anything.

Amazingly kids friendly staff, particularly Mr. Canar öztürk, Mr. Yilmaz Aktin and, definitely, Ms. Kader.

Good and friendly staff, clean rooms and tasty breakfast. Very comfortable for visitor with babies. Wi-Fi (internet) was very slow. And it was very noisy at nights. I could not sleep because of noise of domestic birds coming from the hotel's yard. Except these facts everything (particularly location) was great. Recommeded hotel.

The atmosphere of care and benevolence of the staff are well combined with the advantages of the hotel itself. It's a great location. The new hotel — new furniture, new plumbing, fresh repairs. Lovely breakfasts. A pleasant spa.
