It's a nice hotel. Polite staff. Pleasant atmosphere and good breakfast. Cleaning every day. The mini bar works perfectly, if desired, you can use as a refrigerator. Air conditioning, TV in different languages, everything is functioning. Excursions can also help. Very good location.

Great position my room is not huge but clean good shower and for single guy no problems. Staff excellent and super helpful from giving directions to organising transport.

Average place, average breakfast, good rooms, great location, good staff. Book your local tours from other places as it is about 20% expensive here.

Hotel in central but quiet strategic place, you sleep without hearing noises.
The room I would say decent I l helpful and kind staff. You go in 5 min walk to the Blue Mosque and St. Sophia.
The bathroom rather small but clean and no problem with the water.
Great value for money is location.
Remember that Sabiha Airport is more than 1 hour by car.
The hotel organizes the transfer, that one found a little expensive 55 euros in 2 one way.

Very nice hotel in the district of Sultanahmet Istanbul. Centrally located near to all the tourist sites. Not far from the famous Blue Mosque and many other important sites. Very friendly staff and the rooms are very clean and adequate. The staff will arrange boat tours to the Bosphorus. I had an enjoyable stay and its very safe.

We liked everything, the staff is friendly, and friendly, at any time at your service! The hotel is always clean, in the rooms every day cleaned, the bed is changed every 2-3 days, the breakfasts are good, you can eat both indoors and outdoors-on the terrace.
All the main sights of Istanbul within walking distance!
So recommend this hotel!

Hotel Price is high, the location near the tourist attractions, the hotel should have the equipment, but the room is older and there are one or two electric plug Su-position failure, other places can be accepted. In addition, the restaurant near the hotel is not too honest, if you can do a little farther there will be more choices.

Nice and cozy. It is a very well located hotel, right next to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The staff were very friendly and helpful. But very small room and no elevator. Breakfast was very small.

Friendly, helpful staff. Room cleaned daily, fresh towels/toiletries. Clean throughout whole hotel. Ideally situated for sightseeing. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Beutifull CHEAP hotel. Nothing special and loads of things could be improved just with a bit of interest. The location — relative to Istanbul City — is amazing. It was very cheap so I think it was a very good choice for us. I do recomand using it if you're not gonna stay too much indoor. Very close to the big mosques, Grand Bazaar and T1 tram wich will take u in the city centre. Also, probably over 20-30 clasic, specific, Turkish restaurants within 5-10mins walk all with amazing food at very very convenient prices. Taxi from Ataturk Airport is about 55-60 TL (just over £10) for the 25km journey. Also, nice and helpful staff.

The staff The Hotel was very nice and clean. Very good location for those who want to visit the mosques and the museum.

Really basic hotel. Staff is kind but not always helpful. Well situated not far from the most iconic places in Istanbul.

How about 2 weeks at the Avicenna Hotel in Istanbul. The staff was very professional and super friendly. Our room was clean and the size was completely adequate, in case of problems the staff removed it immediately. In the evening the terrace above is fantastic, together with my husband we were able to drink a delicious tea and enjoy the view together. The location of the Avicenna hotel is perfect, with the Stadtbahn you can get over all quite quickly. Also the sights are quick to reach just a few minutes!
Our conclusion: We will be back! Until then, however, hope that the coffee is a little stronger in the morning;)

Price is very good. Good location good environment and Nice hotel. Some old equipment and hair on the floor. A bit more cleanliness and a little investment in equipment — then a super hotel.

A very pretty hotel. Nice rooms all with great views of either the sea or Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. A stones throw from major tourist attractions and numerous reataurants. The hotel has plenty of choices for breakfast, served indoors or in a secluded garden. Wifi available. Location excellent. Best staff ever-very helpful and friendly. They go the extra mile.

Be aware! There's a 2 bassement floors. With your standard room reservation. It's unpleasant. But the ground floor and first floor are fine.

İ didn't find it a clean place and even without a slipper in rooms ful of old stuff and for irony so expensive.

Good rooms that are clean. Only a few minutes away from the blue mosque which is perfect before prayer. Breakfast is also good.

Really lousy stay. We were given a room in the basement which smelled damp, was right next to a kitchen so we heard a constant clattering of plates, and was very dark. The room was very old and shabby, and the bed was very uncomfortable. Pay a little more for their 'superior' room (I. E you aren't in the basement) or just stay in a nicer hotel.

Amazing location for 1st time visitors to Istanbul… majority of sights are walking distance. Only thing was bad was Wi-Fi connection speeds. To be fair location is the. Most important when you come to Istanbul. Bring your own iron if needed and don't forget your travel sockets.

Beautifully located on the edge of the millennial heart of Istanbul (almost under the blue mockery), the Avicenna (Ibn'Sina) combines comfort and taste in the traditional setting of a beautifully restored yali (wooden façade).
And to eat breakfast there will be a delight in the morning. The rooms are spacious, clear, with a large old bed. A house for not one or seven nights, but 1001!
The area is quiet (despite the close track). Only the muezzin will bring you to make the fortune of the sellers of Quies balls!

Two-storey Hotel without elevator, nice room but a little small, bathroom a little old but clean enough.

All the staff are super nice, helpful and top notch. The hotel is very well placed and even alone, I did not hesitate to go out. The restaurant on the top floor is very nice too and the prices are ok.

A very helpful service, good breakfast and a really nice restaurant with a cool waiter (Ali). The hotel is just a few meters away from hagia sophia so u can many visits by feet. The rooms are not that big but clean. You can stay here cheap with nice environment for short time trips.

We've eaten here a fish sullaterrazza excellent wings and lochef excellent.

Great room, great food, great atmosphere.

Stayed for a week with my boyfriend, on the ground floor facing the road. Location was very central, easy access to all the main attractions. Reception was extremely helpful and accommodating. However, we were offered a twin room when we automatically assumed it would be a double but this wasn't really a main concern. The bathroom was relatively small with a shower, toilet and sink — only room for literally one person! Slightly noisy at times with traffic and people walking by with or without window open. Air conditioning wasn't cold and a bit noisy. Breakfast offered a wide range of hot and cold food and drinks. Hot foods changed daily and there was always fruits and salads on offer. Nice environment, can sit outside in the garden or inside. Waiters were able to replenish any items if necessary. The rooms were cleaned and replenished daily and very efficiently. Excellent overall cleanliness throughout the hotel. Can not fault reception. Any problems the guys on the front desks are always willing to help and fix anything straight away. They spoke good English and was able to arrange and recommend enjoyable trips/taxis — all you need to do is ask — 24/7. Overall, everything is as it should be and was a good stay. The location and easy access to all the sights made up for all the (little) downfalls. Would recommend people who are always out and about, not really suitable for families with small children.

Main advantage: its location within a few steps of Sultanahmet and Aya Sophia. The rest is modest.
