Stayed complimentary of Turkish Airlines. Met a British guy who was travelling to Russia to watch England in the world cup and stayed up at the bar until it closed at 2. Wandered the hotel and the area around with drinks from the minibar until 3am. Decent breakfast, honey off a comb was a pretty cool touch. Helpful, friendly staff was great. Barber gave a great shave, massage looked tempting, definitively would get that on an inbound trip. All in all, very nice.

I stayed at this hotel because Turkish Airlines offers a room to those who have a transit in Istanbul airport exceeding 6 hours and less than 24 (this implies that I did not pay for the hotel stay). The hotel is not brand new but maintains good living standards in the rooms. On the mezzanine floor there is a good restaurant and a swimming pool in the inner atrium. The location is good, it is close to a metro stop.

Its the worst hotel ever I seen I have no idea how the hell they gets five stars wish I could give the a middle for the worst service and worst hotel They r not helpful even there is no internet in my floor I told them about that problem and three do nothing At the same time they tlak alot money for one room Iam sad that I take that decision to stay in that miserable hotel.

Very good facilities and excellent breakfast.

I would only give 3 blood on the sheets.

Can not compare to the cleanliness of the German 5 star hotels.

Overall, an old hotel with helpful staff. -Speedy check-in (entrance to room under 7 mins). -Tidy room -in room Wi-Fi never worked. -room service ordered at 10:35 arrived post midnight after follow-up. -had ordered club sandwich in room service, which was a waste of 27 Tl as there were no fresh ingredients and in place of french fries there were just crisps. -breakfast buffet was 6.5/10 for decent variety and taste. -staff remained courteous and helpful throughout.

The 4-star hotel… As for Istanbul-the norm! Beautiful view on the roof-a tease.

This hotel was selected for us by Turkish Airlines when we missed our flight and were delayed 24 hours. Much better than staying in the airport. Dinner was the same meal for us and all the other passengers who came in with missed flights too. Good salads. Rooms are comfortable. The staff are not very conversant in English. For that, go to hotel reception.

Room service is poor. Reception staff need to be more helpful and friendly. Restaurant staff are very courteous and friendly. Domestic service is NOT as expected in a five star hotel. Location is good and very close to Metro station.

It was beautiful a relaxing stay you eat very well and the waiters are all clean polite and helpful the hotel is very big and the inside has a nice design the pool and very clean and the rooms are big and luxurious I plan to return.

It is one of the best hotel I've been to But if you are not a resedent they won't let you go up the stairs.

Great location On the other hand the rooms and hallway very dirty.
The joints of the bathroom does not exist and when coming out of the shower we find ourselves in a Fed. However the minibar is well supplied.
The food is very average but especially that it is not changed by the cooks and so we scraped the funds. Clearly this hotel does not deserve as many stars.

We were ferried here by Turkish Airlines after flight delays and subsequent flight connections missed; friendly waiters, and a sumptuous breakfast spread helped to alleviate matters. The lunch too was both visually and gastronomically fantastic! The bedroom is huge, though the also very generous bath tub could do with a bit of TLC round the edges. Definitely grand in design, so worthy of it's 5 star rating.

… We landed up here by sheer luck as we had a lay-over of 22 hours in Turkey before our connecting flight to Havana, Cuba and we had reserved a room at the Radison Blu Hotel But we surprisedly we received a call from Turkish Airlines to inform us of the Complimentary giveaways! You have a choice of a five star hotel with breakfast or a variety of daytime tour offers been 4 or 6 hours or a night time tour! We decided to do hotel now and tour on our return trip! And we weren’t disappointed with our choice as the hotel is magnificent and class-ii it’s a real shame we only had it for a day! The rooms are stunning-lii deco red and well furnished, from the top floor rooms you had a magnificent view of the Blue Mosque & the Sofia Hagia & the hillsides of the suburbs… the breakfast was awesome-lii funk-ii as you had a chance to try the Turkish way of eating loads of pretty sweet treats! After a good nap you could wonder the streets of Istanbul and explore and find a good place/ restaurant to enjoy dinner although the hotels setup was outstanding but to add variety to our escapade! They even gave us a wake-up call and provided a shuttle back to the airport at 00:00 in time to board our flight to Cuba…

Great Hotel. Very professional and helpful Staff You feel pampered but discreetly.

This was by far the worst 4 star hotel I've been to. The rooms are very old, very noisy throughout the day and night, one can constantly hear cars driving pass as it's close to the main road, which makes it difficult to sleep at night. The room would get extremely hot, and the air conditioning doesn't work. Very limited options at breakfast, everything tasted horrible. Staff don't clean the rooms at all, they just throw the bedsheets over the bed and hang the towels on the rack, tables haven't been wipes, The bedsheets haven't been changed for the whole stay of the duration. The shower has a dirty smell when it gets wet. Towels also look stained and unclean. The staff didn't seem to understand English properly, so because of this language barrier we couldn't sort most of the problems out. The Wi-Fi doesn't work most of the time and when it does work it's extremely slow. We had some problems with the room keys, and would have to go down to reception multiple times to have it sorted out. There are not any cafes or restaurants in the close vicinity. Only plus point is it's 2 mins walk away from the metro stop.

This is not the first time I have been in the hotel. Quite conveniently located and looks good. But here, the window in the room does not even open that sad. In general the rooms are nice, no lapping, that strange glasses in the room were all different. In the lobby of the hotel also as it is not cozy, near the hotel walls of the old town, all transport infrastructure, including the Metro, you can not bad walk not far from the hotel. In general in Istanbul, I have visited many hotels, but this I liked more than others.

Very unpleasant stay … with a bad breakfast, services, location and dirty. Even our room key had to be changed each time we went out. I don't know how it's rated 5 stars.

Good hotel though little old. Breakfast has good selection. Some rooms have broken TV remotes. The service is good though Overall would recommend it to family.

5 stars hotel indeed it deserves five stars The hotel is just my neighbor it's one of the best hotels in Istanbul that have international standards Just visit no doubt you will satisfied with their service.

Stayed many, many years ago. Loved it. Owner Nihat Akgun was a lovely man. Even went with him to a Disco.

The rooms are very good. It's very good for tourists and shoppers.

That's a stay in hotel vote what struck me more the more cleanliness and what was unpleasant c ' is the service of breakfast that really bothered me about the thermos that were servers and more bad management of communication thanks customers.

It can not be five stars … three are enough … old fasion. Very un lovely staff.

We love this hotel in istanbul. Its so centric and the music, the breakfast, the rooms and the pool. Its such a relaxing place.

Renovated hotel with high level of hygiene, the rooms are small, but I liked it. Good place for walking.

The location is excellent, most of the interesting places are within distance taksim and sultanahmet at 10 minutes by car. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite. The rooms were cleaned regularly every AM, hotel room was always clean, neat and tidy everytime we returned to hotel after the turkey trips.

Rooms, location and services are exellent.
