Great place. Warm welcome, nice old style but comfy. Super clean. Downside was, the view from the room was to a rear street alley and the neighborhood was pretty loud on a Saturday night. Rooftop view, pretty spectacular.

Fantastic hotel. Great service — we got upgraded to an attic room with a lovely small balcony — the room was beautifully and tastefully decored (very homely pictures and furniture) with kettle and coffee machine in the room. The Spa was also great — we used it every day — got a wet and dry sauna and a nice Turkish hammam which you can use for free. Breakfast was also fantastic, and finally location is great — walking distance (or tram if really lazy) to all the attractions and nightlife. (oh — great restaurants around as well). Well we'll recommended.

A very nice hotel in top location. The station of the T1 is directly behind the house, or one runs over the bridge and is at the Port Eminünö. The rooms are very nicely decorated, large and clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The lobby is the hammer, imposing and sehrbstielvoll furnished. The hotel was once the headquarters of a bank and from that time there are still scattered old benches utensils, but most impressive is the old large safe which is behind the bar. As a tip, a rooftopbar is located on the roof from which one has a great view over Eminünö, Galata Bridge and Fahit a house that has earned its stars Wirkkich!

Pro:Love everything bout this place. The location, the historic building, the rooftop restaurant, the ambience. Cons:Staff hospitality could be improved tho. Especially at lobby restaurant where we had our breakfast.

A boutique hotel near the Golden Horn is Karakoy. Very nice staff, very strategic place to stay in where literally everything is just minutes away. This is the second time I stay at this place and I don’t think am going to stay anywhere in Istanbul when I visit again.

A very nice hotel in the middle of Istanbul. Unfortunately, you don't have a nice view from every room but on the top floor you have a rooftop bar with an excellent view of the sea and the crowd where you can enjoy your coffee.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We would be very nice to receive. Since we appeared very early in the hotel, our rooms were still occupied. So we got an alternative for the first time so we could relax after the long journey. We first got drinks and packed our suitcases away. Then we set out in a room to rest.
The staff gave us approx. About 11 o'clock our room is organized. Offered us again after we relaxed we also like to visit the sauna and to get a massage.
I definitely recommend the hotel further.

It’s me again! Stayed again at Vault for my hair surgery. I don’t want to exaggerate but this is now my fav hotel. The moment you enter you feel comfortable. The rooms (low ceiling ones) or 135 / 144 are simply amazing. Food: The chef deserves a star for the quality and taste. Breakfast, room service or lunch at the terrace were amazing. Staff: At first glimpse they seem a little introverted but you quickly figure out how kind and helpful they are. Tip: breakfast buffet a must and eggs Benedict, tea and chicken wrap at the terrace while getting a tan, Kitchen closes at 22:30. If you want a quick bite around the corner: check out “BIG CHEF” Just up the street. Have fun.

To the hotel: No way a 5 * hotel for me! But the real 5 * hotels would have to be titled 7 or 8 stars.
It's not bad … Coarse everything in the room looks very clean — you get closer you are actually dusty all the corners and edges. Some umbrellas of table lamps have unmissable spots! Nothing like that! In my room, next to the bed, there were two of these table lamps! Both look very classy and chic but the umbrellas have stains!
Since the "Bankalar Caddese" is very old, the large windows unfortunately do not bring much natural light! But you could at least make the lobby a little brighter! The atmosphere had something of a DarkRoom! Far too dark — — that's certainly brighter!
For breakfast: Dear hotel team, breakfast is a laughing stock! Anyway for a hotel that advertises 5 *, extremely poor! A tiny corner with a breakfast buffet! That really cannot be done! I can rightly expect more …
For 4 * it would be acceptable but absolutely not worthy for a 5 * star hotel.
I generally thought the hotel was okay, but I certainly won't check in there for the second time!
By the way, if you stand on old buildings and idolize historical architecture, you will feel good here! My ZImmer has 6m ceiling height! That's really cool '!

For a stay of one week, pleasant with a good welcome, "the House Hotel Karakoy", is a nice hotel, well located, and the rooms there are spacious.

Hi there! it is only my second day out of five but had to rewrite this review as fast as possible. I can really tap my shoulder for my good research. This hotel is phenomenal! Area: safe and modern area due to the banks next doors. The river is just 5 min walk from the hotel. Overall excellent. Hotel main area: I love boutique hotels and this one top everything. Extremely friendly staff, helping where they can, clean, the smell in the common area is perfumed with a subtle send of wood and something else. Decor, colors etc is A+. Was Room: Beautiful decoration (wood brown green. ) Overall a must for the price, location and quality! cheers ingo.

Returning from a trip to Vietnam we made a stopover in Istanbul, we had booked at the hotel Vault Karakoy and we did very well because it is a very welcoming and collected place. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and the breakfast is typical of Turkish cuisine. This hotel deserves 5 stars to conclude it is in a strategic spot to visit the city.

We stayed one night in the hotel for the next day flight. Hotel itself is great, great location, great room and strong Wi-Fi. But the staffs and the reception were terrrible. When we first arrived at noon, there was no door man at the entrance to help us with luggages. We had to carry to suitcases to walk the stairs. The guy helped us check in weren’t friendly, he was rude. I mentioned there was no door man, he said they are doing something else, so no door man help for us. As a high end hotel this is not acceptable, and he didn’t show any sympathy at all. 10 mins after we were in our room, a staff knocked and opened the door while we were changing, like what the? Shouldn’t you wait at least 15 seconds before entering the room? Poor service. Most of all, we could sense the arrogance of the staffs. Because we are Asians, the way they talk to us were more rude compared to other guests. It’s just unacceptable to have that kind of attitude to the guests. It’s 2017, and there are still racist people everywhere. 這個飯店服務員對亞洲人態度很差，服務、口氣跟態度落差明顯，我們提出問題後還隨便打發，赤裸裸的惡意跟自大，別來折騰自己。體驗差到我必須用兩種語言寫評論。

Was there with 16по20 Oct 2017… the impression from these five not so… there is a five-star cellar. Breakfast monotonous. To say that the friendly staff I wouldn't say that… the room changed twice in four days … there is no pool or gym or anything … so the average four. Round the price of 200 lire or 2500-3000 a day. Over all the staff didn't say … a good guy, receptionist and administrator who for more Mature!

Great location, right next to Metro station and Galata Bridge. Staff are friendly, courteous & helpful. I stayed in a king bed suite and it was fantastic. Rooms don't have a view unfortunately; but with the city less than 50m away, I don't imagine you will be spending too much time in the room. Rooftop has a terrace with a pleasant ambiance. Shawarma/burger/kebab snack spot 20m from hotel's entrance. 8-12TL most items on menu. Small Convenience store located directly opposite hotel entrance for snacks/drinks etc.

Great hotel with excellent decor that was modern but with character and charm. Comfortable beds and spacious walk in shower (stayed in a classic king room). Breakfast was a buffet every morning with fresh fruits, and traditional Turkish options as well option to order eggs, waffle or pancakes to order. Location was great, only 3 minute walk to the Bosphorus river (Galata Bridge) and within 20 or so minutes to other tourist attractions in any direction. Plenty of good places to eat nearby. Concierge was extremely helpful and had very good knowledge of the best places to visit and at what time and even gave a suggestion on a brilliant spot to watch sunset near Hagia Sofia (this was unforgettable)

The receptions was not helpful they know nothing about the town and restaurants. Hotels room service close at 10 p. M (we were so hungry that we didn't know what to do) Hotels breakfast is very simple (it's not like a five star hotel at all) All in all the hotel doesn't deserve this rating.

Lovely hotel with great service, the manager gave us his best tips to enjoy Istanbul to the fullest. Trendy area. Close to Galatea tower. Relaxed atmosphere. Great roof terrace to spend sunsets looking out over the Bosporus river with a glass of wine. Recommended!

Really great hotel. Our room was massive, high ceilings neat, modern, clean, marble bathroom, fantastic. Staff are super friendly and the service is exceptional. The roof terrace has nice views of the city and river. Walking distance to We will definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Vault Karakoy for one night. Was very impressed with the level of service and attention to detail put into my short stay. All the staff were very welcoming. Loved, loved, loved the view from my balcony. Great location — in walking distance to great restaurants, cafes, and shops. I would definitely stay again for a longer visit if given the chance.

We let them help us, and every night in a different restaurant, not disappointment it! This hotel is located in Karakoy's centre, there are many nice cafes and restaurants, can walk to almost all places-including all the mosques, markets, etc. Hotel work…
