Simply the best! as all Soho House hotels. It makes us feel very special, unique, cool and at home all at the same time.

Restaurant and pool service was terrible. The rooms are so dark you can barely see what your doing in the bathroom. Very limited room service menu. They need to really step it up in the service department. Disappointing considering I’ve been to several other houses across the world and have had nothing but positive experiences.

This is by far one of the best hotels in Istanbul. Actually, it’s a “house”. The rooms are spacious and the design is very chic. It’s a unique style from the classic features such as the big tub in the middle of the room, the phone, alarm, and the speakers. The reception staff is really nice and always happy to help. There is not really a “concierge”, so don’t expect someone to really guide you or give you lots of advice, as it will depend on the staffs preferences. A few of the restaurant staff are grumpy but it’s a busy hotel, especially for breakfast, so the service will slow down. A few things to enhance to the hotel management team: 1. The lightning in the rooms are too dim. While it’s part of the ambiance of the rooms, one can really have a difficult time using the bathroom at night. 2. We had two rooms and one really smelled as there was a water drip outside our room. So it wasn’t very fresh and eventually I gave up asking the staff to fix the leak (room 45) 3. We had two medium-plus rooms, and while each is different, the size felt medium in one (7) and the other as medium-plus (45). The staff explained that it was the same … hmmmm Overall a great experience. I would have given it 4 stars but the 5 stays as the little things can be easily addressed.

The club was amazing. Cocktails were very well made, staff very attentive. The only issue was that the music was super loud. But the views from the rooftop quickly made it up for us.

Wonderful hotel. Everything was perfect, except for the guy at the reception of their "members — only club". Their in-house hair salon was also pretty much just novelty, not great service. Apart from that, the staff was friendly and the service was excellent.

We stayed one night in the old portion of the hotel and were absolutely astonished by the beauty of the room. There were many amenities and the front desk staff is so willing to help with any requests. I will say that the staff at the rooftop bar was very slow and unmotivated. We ended up having to ask for our check three times as after the second request I went looking for the waiter and found him relaxing on his phone. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Spent 4 nights at Soho House Istanbul and really enjoyed the experience. We stayed in the small room and it has plenty of space, nice amenities and what you'd expect from a Soho House if you've ever stayed at one before. The club house is beyond amazing and I've only had good food and good coffee here. I'd recommend staying here for anyone interested in a great location to base your holiday around. I've taken a star off the rating because the service wasn't exactly as expected, for example, the rooms are a little nuanced and unique and no one explained that to us on checkin. The lights, shower, room service menu etc are a little different and it was a tiny bit frustrating to figure out the specifics ourselves. One more thing, there is no longer a swimming pool here, and with the gorgeous climate that made me sad. I'm still a fan and leaving happy, just a few small things would have made this experience perfect.

Wonderful hotel with all the benefits you can dream of! Stay in an ideal spot of Istanbul to be treated like celebrity! Enjoy your luxury and stylish room, unique Club House with exquisite events, amazing SPA with Barber Shop and GYM where you can actually have a chance to perform as Mohammed Ali on hotel’s own ring! Do not forget sunbathing on the rooftop and delicious breakfast in cozy garden! The only one thing to add that this unique property is managed by high class professional Marco Eichhorn. Well done Marco’s team! Thanks a lot!

This is one of my favorites Soho House hotels and clubs so far. The ‘small’ room is larger than the same room category in other houses and of course it’s beautifully decorated and very clean. The breakfast at the Allis was impeccable (both food and service). The gym is incredible. Huge, well maintained, with all type of equipment, and of course the locker room with sauna and steam bath. And I have no words for the club at the adjacent building: beautiful, majestic building where there are several spaces where you can work, eat, have a drink in a great atmosphere. I was surprised to find out that Wednesdays were more crowded than Thursdays. I will definitely come back.

Not as good as you'd expect but def better than most people say. It's a stunning building, nicely renovated but the club itself lacks soul (and visitors). Soho is supposed to be a hub for creative people but the membership is just way too expensive for the target group (also way too snobby), you usually run into the type of people you're trying to avoid. The staff used to be very good in the beginning but… yeah, those days are clearly over.

If you want to be in Istanbul but feel like you are somewhere in Europe, it's a perfect place to go. Even if food is served in traditional Turkish plates :) A great place for a tea time. Plenty amazing choices of desserts.

Beautiful old building. Used to be the old America embassy. Very classy. You have to be a member or a guest to enter.

The best service! All the employees are very helpful and friendly. The club is by far the most beautiful one I have been to. The location is very central to everything and the amenities are amazing!

The Hotel were the guestrooms are is located in a new building (next to the old beautiful old house).
The staff from the front desk were friendly but everyone from the room service & housekeeping was the total opposite. Not helpful neither nice.
After we (me and my colleague) arrived at the hotel the staff didn't brought our luggage to the reception or the rooms. After I realized that our luggage was still on the street in front of the entrance I was a bit afraid because everyone passing by could easily steal the bags so I took these four bags by myself to the room.
The standard room is small but okay for a short stay. The interior is nice and the light concept is great as you can dim the whole room from two buttons (as in most of the Soho Houses).
There is no pool in both buildings.
The AC is very loud but there is no other way to get some air into the room as opening the Window is absolutely not an option. The room was located to a big busy street with a lot pollution and a lot of noise 24/7.
Its actually very noisy even if you have the windows closed.
The glass doors to the showers and the toilets do not fully close and they swing open when in use.
The restaurant staff in the Italian (Ceccinos) Restaurant is very nice and the food is great.

Nice and cozy place, we had a wonderful in the club.

Although a members only club if you happen to have a friend with a pass its worth taking at least one visit there. A very decent bar with generally very well made cocktails, if you want to go to a wild weekend make sure to check whos DJ'ing all the rich kids spending Daddy money are sure to be there as well as their Daddies :) — If it would have a proper library and quiet space I would have considered extending membership. The Gym and facilities are really really excellent.

Lovely hotel, lovely attention to details, very lively, enjoyed its restaurants. The room was fantastic, little details and charms that make it very enjoyable to stay in. Hotel is quite central as well and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Ok the place the restaurants to avoid.

The place is a cosy and nostalgic location. It is not just a hotel but also a social place. You can attend some activities like 27th Istanbul Jazz Festival etc. I liked it except for the fact that you cant see any indication or sign of the place from outside while coming from İstiklal Avenue direction. But if you ask the locals, they can help you find it.

Unique night club located at the Old British Embassy. With lots of separate rooms and a lovely garden.

Very cool place. Came as a guest. Service was good, drinks were great, food was tasty. Definitely a unique crowd. And the views were fantastic!

The hotel is beautiful and the house is in an old historic house which is incredible. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The spa was great, especially the Neville part (Men's grooming), I had an exceptional service for a hair trim (clean up). That's where the charm ends. All of the photos online show that the Hotel AND the member's house have a pool on the rooftop. Neither of them do as they were both closed over a year ago. There are still buttons in the elevator which say rooftop terrace/pool, which is inaccessible. One of the reasons we booked this hotel is because we were hoping to enjoy the summer sun by the pool on vacation. No such luck. The rooms are defaulted to an extremely dark light setting. There are no instructions on how to brighten the room so it took us till the second day before we realized you have to press and hold the light switch button twice to get the lights to actually work. The AC setting was on 15 C for 3 days straight and the room won't get below 21 C. The glass doors to the showers and the toilets do not fully close and they swing open when in use (we got moved to a different room during our stay and it was the same in both). The restaurant staff in the hotel (Allis Restaurant) are abysmal as service is slow and unattentive. I am writing this review after sitting down for breakfast — nobody else was in the restaurant and there are 4 servers working.

Nicely renovated ex US embassy. Food, ambience, location and service very good.

Well laid out rooms and comfortable beds round out this excellent hotel which also offers a spa and gym. The hotel is connected to the Soho House next door and has the same vibe. Location is great with easy access to the metro and main entertainment spots of Istanbul.

Beautiful historical building but you have to be a member of the club for example to go for a drink at the bar. To book a room, is this the same, I do not know.

Excellent hotel, the best amenities ever, great design, helpful staff, one of the best gym and spa area.
The only negative is that in breakfast they charged the orange juice and moka coffee : — (

Like everything that Soho House touches and puts its name to, SH Istanbul is no different. A majestic building, super-chic decor, views to die for or to chant along with and all delivered in SH's inevitable cool but casual style — a must visit!

Excellent refurbishment of the hotel where incredible paintings and hidden architectural elements were discovered, to which Byzantine mosaics, Chesterfield leather sofas, kilims and tiles were added. It also includes a rooftop swimming pool.
