It is a special place, with a very good location, the only thing that limits both for the hotel and the entire city, is a developed city like that, its inhabitants and hotel staff should speak English and Spanish, since among its tourists there are many Latinos.

I love it’s very beautiful hotel.

Good view. Relaxing. Music was good but the sound system sucks. One speaker broken. Owner said they will fix. Otherwise very nice venue.

Great boutique hotel in a very hip neighborhood. The hotel is amazing, in a beautiful 19th century building. The surrounding area is vibrant at night. Very close to cool restaurants and coffee shops in Taksim and the port area. We were very happy we stayed here instead of Sultanahmet.

High style, great rooms and good service. A really nice boutique hotel in Galata surrounded by non-pretencious art gallaries, fashion boutiques and restaurants that offer quality and great value.

A wonderful hotel in the vibrant heart of Istanbul. The owner and staff were very welcoming and provided for our every request. I could not fault our experience. I'd happily recommend this place to a friend and I look forward to going back one day.

I loved everything about this hotel. The location couldn't have been better and the views were magnificent. The room was beautiful and spacious. But out of all the wonderful things I can say about this hotel, it was the staff that really made our stay such a joy, so sweet, kind and helpful that they began to feel like friends.

Stylish hotel and helpful staff. They sorted out the car service issues we had. Very helpful since we did not speak Turkish. The music was audible from the rooftop above our room but it was a Saturday night and I packed ear plugs. Would recommend!

I had booked a room at Georges Galata however a few days before the visit, the room was cancelled. As a compensation we got an invite to an event on their roof terrace. Despite the fact that we had to find a new hotel (and ended up paying more for that because of lack of availability), we took a detour to go to the roof terrace on that night. We then learnt that they had a private booking, and we weren't welcomed, so we had to leave. I've sent two emails to the hotel manager without a response.

The Hotel & staff are fantastic, the rooms are clean & Very luxurious, the roof bar is amazing & views spectacular over the water!
They have tea & coffee facilities in the room & mini bar — all very over priced in Euros — which is a shame!
The room service for breakfast is also pricey.
But all in all a great place to stay & right by the Galata Tower.

Hidden Gem in Istanbul This is a great hotel in a perfect location and with excellent service — specially Anil who provided us with a full range of spot on suggestions to eat, buy or visit. Great coffee on the ground floor and an amazing bar on the top floor with stunning views (see photos).

Excellent stay at the highly boutique, Georges Hotel. Location is ideal for tourists and especially nice neighbourhood to wander around. Highly rate Cem, behind the desk. Was a huge help before and during our stay.

This is a lovely boutique hotel in the old Galata area of Istanbul. It has well appointed rooms a nice bar on the roof with great views and very friendly staff. We spent two nights here and it was very easy to explore the old town of Istanbul and get to the ferries to travel the Bosphorus river.

This is a perfect, fabulous hotel. I cannot find one thing wrong with it. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms are lovely and serene (get one with a view of the harbor). The rooftop bar has stunning views, great cocktails, and excellent music on their playlist. The location is ideal for wandering. The only warning is that cab and uber drivers can be difficult about dropping you off right there, as there is no sign and the cab and uber drivers generally are, in my experience, difficult in this otherwise wonderful city.

This is a nice Boutique Hotel. Really cool bedroom and amazing view from the rooftop, which is also a Cocktail Bar. Nothing to complain really! I am not giving 5 stars only because the TV was not working and the chairs on the balcony were slightly dirty. Thus, no perfection. But rest assured this is a great place where to stay and very well located in the heart of Istanbul, close to the famous Galata Tower.

This property is so friendly. They shuttled us to dinner on 2 nites and picked us up. Their maid service was great and the bartenders nice. The pool area is spacious. Free parking, close to shopping and movies and carry out.

It's unique charm sets it apart from other boutique hotels. The preppy eclectic and slight neo art decco vibe brings a certain elegance you see in movies. The bathroom is excellent with both shower and tub to choose from although the toilet is awkwardly placed making you sit sideways almost if you're over 6ft. Along with the lobby cats it hosts great views from the dining space on the top floor and is located in a great part of the city.

Comfortable hotel with excellent location in Galata. From the street you can see Galata Tower. Friendly receptionists and service. There are 2 charming cats which sleep in the reception at night. Bathrooms felt a bit small, but the rooms were large. Excellent view from the rooftop terrace, where breakfast is served and there's a bar. The alcoholic drinks here are insanely expensive though.

Fantastic place, run by very good management. Staff attentive and extremely helpful. Rooms are sublime and the roof top terrace outstanding.

We had a great time in the jialataqiaozhi hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful here. We encountered a problem well solved, Emine, thank you. This breakfast is my Turkey had the best-in Galata. Every meal of the day is our favorite! Great scenery, you need to pay extra to enjoy the scenery of the Bosphorus, it was worth it. Location could not be better. Price high in Istanbul, but the room was luxurious, the smell of the hotel …

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. Perfect localization just in 2 min walk from Galata tower and from where you can reach all parts of Istanbul so easy. Sultanahmet in 7-10 min by tram or 25 min by walk. Istiklal caddesi (the most famous street of Istanbul) in just 5 min walk.
And if you want to feel the real spirit of Istanbul sunsets and sunrises — this hotel is just for you: you can see an amazing sunset lights with a sea-view on Bosphorus and wake up with the first lights of the sun to you room and sea guls and have a tasty breakfast on the terrace of the roof top.
The hotel has everything for your needs and the owners are very nice people that try their best for you to feel like home.

Incredible hotel and top-notch amenities and stunning view of the city of Istanbul. The breakfast is by far the best i've had at a hotel around the world. We came from the States and everything was upscale, sophisticated and easilywalk-able to Galata area. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had an Absolutely perfect week stay at George's. Great service, friendly staff, beautiful view, amazing location, clean rooms etc. The free breakfast was a huge plus too! Thanks for an amazing week in Istanbul. We highly recommend Georges and I'm very particular about hotels. Don't listen to the negative reviews. This is one of THE spots to stay in Istanbul.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The staff is outstanding. They were very attentive very pleasant very helpful. Wonderful people. Very much enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend this hotel to others. I will look forward to staying here again the next time I am here. The view from the top floor restaurant and bar simply stunning. Absolutely fantastic. A very nice panoramic view of the Bosporus in the Goldenhorn. Very pleasant weather. It was such a great pleasure to wake up every morning go up there and have coffee and enjoy the view and the wonderful staff. Dinner is also excellent and drinks in the evening as well.

Small, cosy hotel with a stunning view from the rooftop at 50 mt from Galata Tower, one of the best area in Istanbul. Having breakfast or a french aperitivo in the rooftop is an mazing experience. The staff has been very kind and helpful from the very first minute until bye bye, when leaving with the taxi. Price is not so high and is definitely very good value for money. Probably the best hotel I've been in years.

Very cosy hotel, hidden in a small street. The room was absolutely beautiful with an original shower and a balcony, eventhough we didn't ask for one. There were a few negative points, though; like the door of the bathroom not closing properly, the water being difficult to adjust to a desired temperature,. And above that, the restaurant was extremely expensive for what you get in the plate. I've been once to the restaurant and I wouldn't go again. But overall it was a very nice hotel.

Maybe the best place in Istanbul to eat French specialties. The foie gras is incredible and I really enjoyed to talk with the chef Sara about French cuisine. Our room was modern and cosy, very comfortable, in a really quiet street. I think we will try the new Sunday brunch next time.

I had wonderful time in there, the staff is great, the food is delicious, the room is lovely and the bed is FANTASTIC ;) I would with no doubt recommend this hotel.
