I did like the area of the hotel. City centre and beach were near. I did like the beach, but showers were not around. We did see the information that the gym will be available, but it was not hotel's gym, so that meant extra fee. Rooms were cleaned daily. Own towels were needed from back home, because the ones from our room could not be used outside of the room. Wider variety of food was expexted from us. We ended up in restaurants around the hotel few times. Defects in the room were not taken care of while we were there. Hotel was not clean enough for my taste. I would not recommend this place for a longer than 1 week stay. You will just get bored.

It's a hotel with a stretch of 3! They write that the first line is lying. At sea you have to go first through the semi-abandoned shopping center, then cross the road, and then walk down the aisle along the Hotel Movenpeake, which is on the first line. Passage this public and local, apparently, their defecation does not bring to the house and cope with the need there. It's really like our Anapa. And now imagine that you have to go back and forth several times a day, in the heat — feel the aroma?! It's terrible. There is a bar on the beach, open from 10 a. M. To 6 p. M. They populate as soon as the room appears. The room can be changed, but they are the same. For $10 can change with a view of the ha pool /sea (there is no sense of special — the sea can be seen a small strip). The rooms are normal: old furniture and plumbing, but everything works. Except for the air conditioning. Some rooms work well, I seem unlucky — sometimes instead of cold, gave dampness. Cleaning the rooms: filled the bed, hung towels in place and everything (wash the floors and vacuum — and why? ). Food: cooked normally, sometimes there was hard meat. Breakfast is the same every day, the choice is not great. Lunch and dinner are almost indistinguishable, but there is a lot to choose from. Fruits: 2 species each time, but mostly — green melon and plum. The water in the pool is wildly chlorinated. Animation: the guys are trying.

Awesome stuff, nice hotel with great pool, good location and very good meal.

We should have another Marabout hotel but for the reason that there are no places we are put here (the Grand Express travel agency), the food is the norm, the pool is closed to the hotel residents but is open to those who go to the fitness club (Pay) which is nearby, the rooms don't really have dirt and spots, internet only at the front desk and very bad. We here for the fact that we stayed made a 20% discount on excursions and we bought three at once. "Cities are dirty, there are places where it stinks, houses are destroyed and not cleaned"

Never again! this hotel Rooms totally run down, dirty & gambled. Operation 80% unfriendly. Hours of waiting at the reception. Complaints were ridiculed. Many guests have changed rooms several times. Food just went, but dirty tables in the dining room, always! The beach is dirty at the hotel section. 6 men behind the beach stall (bretterhütte). I don't know how this hotel can hold 4 stars, sorry. But when you see what kind of audience there is wrong, and how it behaves there, to joke. Holidays are definitely not at all, nieeee again!

Staff is not very friendly, most of the time they say nothing. Lines in the restaurant (buffet) are unclear, could easily be solved by some arrows. The all inclusive concept (the snacks and stuff around breakfast, lunch and dinner) are ridiculous. At 'Oasis' which would best described as an old forgotten part of the complex, one can get ice cream (when lucky). Everyone was standing in line, but they just kept giving random people and mostly people who were skipping line and y…elling what they wanted (in their language). At breakfast there is a choice of freshly baked ommeletes (after a certain time point because when the buffet opens at six, they refuse) and crêpes with chocolate. Long lines, no efficiency and mute staff.
Only positive is the pool, it's great, warm and lots of beds on the grass. Noise from the neighboring bars and clubs was ridiculously loud, it woke us up. Goes on untill 3 till 5 AM. Inside pool closed, as were all the shops near the pool (high season! ). Late breakfast and all was advertised in the hotel, but wasn't open. After a complaint that the balcony door didn't lock (old and worn out), they just put a screw in it and now it won't open, so we can't use the balcony. That's not a solution! Would not recommend.

The hotel is stunning in beauty but no renovation is done in a long time and this shows. It must have been in its glory days a 5 star hotel. Never the less a nice hotel if you don't look for the flaws Dinner is much of the same everyday but so much that you can switch and not eat all the same day in day out. Rooms are dated with this year new matresses but rock hard. It really missing a topping matress. Showering must be done inside your bath and therefore slippery when moving and stepping out of the bath. Pool and area around is large and a nice place to be. Brand new slides mounted this year. Animation was in our 3 weeks holidays zero to none. 5x darts. 3x botcha. 2 water polo but water gymnastic is done more often. Might be of all the ladies in the pool though. Still overall we had a great holiday and fully loaded up with energie what was the hole purpose of our holiday. BUT would we go back to this hotel again… NO. If you have sea view room you better stay up thill 03.00 hours. Outside the hotel they have an outside open disco. From 23.00 — 03.00 (03.30) hours the music is very very very hard. Even with balconie door shut its still very loud. Meaning that even with sleeping tablettes couldn't sleep. Leaving me with 4 — 5 hours sleep everyday. If. And this is a very big if, we would go back then only for the personal in the hotel. They are one by one very special persons and will always stay in our hearts.

Catastrophe! air-conditioning isnt activated in the End of June! After 3hours we wanted to Check out but they didnt want to give us our money back. We had about 35dagrees and had a baby with us! When we Checked in they didnt tell us that there is no air-conditioning. Than they told us breakfast ist at 11 o'clock, we went there at 9.50h and they told us that breakfast is just until 10 o'clock. So we did get just some cake.

The staff at Tej Marhaba Hotel are exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The reception and bar areas have a splendid Islamic design, and the rooms are much larger and more comfortable than I expected to find in Sousse. Breakfast choices are limited: but it is Tunisia. However there is a wide selection of dishes in the restaurant for the buffet dinner and the quality of this food is good. The outdoor swimming pool and fountains in the hotel gardens are empty: throughout the day builders work on these with a pneumatic drill and make other loud clanging sounds. This is painful to hear in the hotel rooms, but unbearable when lying in the garden. The noise of construction even drowns out the Animation Team’s intermittent disco. There is an indoor swimming pool which is quieter and also has water in it.

Located very close to the sea in a great central location with nice swimming pool decorous international cuisine satisfactory Professional staff.

My name kald I ceme with my family from uk im enjoyed very much in this vacation and the service was very excellent from the reception to the kitchen staff. The cleaning is excellent every day. The room is clean and all is excellent except the swimming pool is under management. Instead, the covered swimming pool and warm water were used.

Great hotel that dates back decades and it feels in the rooms. Horrible carpet in the rooms and hallways… They should wear tiles!
Otherwise friendly welcome and service too. Good restaurant, but binding schedules.

The hotel is aging but it is good value for money and the staff is nice.

Awful place to spend a holiday I mean there so much ppl and not so much place service is 0 the reception is horrible they made us stay waiting for an 1h the information posted in the site are false there is no Wi-Fi in rooms and the one in reception is very weak the food is cold the rooms are not clean there is no towels I mean do somthing really I don't advice u to come here it feels like hell.

The location is very good and the staff are very nice.

This hotel it is not good, I had reservation from Romania ago 3 month on my name but staff refused accomodation because not had paper for married, but paid money for hotel. It is not normal such.

Very old Hotel. Missing rooms. Very deteriorated hygiene. Old carpets burned by cigarettes…

I'm American and they treated me like royalty. It wasn't the popular time of year but the staff was great.

Imposing structure with international culinary proposals in view of the clientele mainly of northern Europe. Would need a nice renovation especially of the rooms which are quite dated. Great outdoor garden with pool.

I think it was a long time ago this hotel was chic. But now, he is simply very old. The rooms are all falling apart literally. The kitchen is normal.

Hotel for 3 stars maximum. From the food do not expect originality. The rooms are interesting but old renovations. Overall OK.

Rooms are large but not with good maintenance… Therefore it is ok… During the Ramadan they offer breakfast… Plenty space in the gardens and in summing pool…

Location 24 hour reception. The reception has currency exchange and a safe. The rooms are not safe. Rooms are standard. TV, refrigerator, central air conditioning. The room was clean. The staff is professional, quick. The attitude to tourists is tactful. The room was clean and comfortable. No beach towels. The beach is about 400 meters (200 meters on the hotel grounds and 200 meters past the hotel Movenpick). Private beach: Sun beds, umbrellas, bar. The sea is clean. In the menu of the main restaurant of the hotel 5-6 types of meat and poultry, fish, salads, olives, fruit. The hotel is located in the city. Market, shops Monoprix and General about 2 kilometers. Taxi will cost 2-3 Dinara (50-75 rubles).

The reception is bad, the food is medium quality and don't think to play tennis because you must pay for that!

First day in this place and I'm very satisfied about staff. Very good reception.

I can say it's a beautiful place.

We had our trip in front of the stop in Port El Kantaoui, booked, and after long discussions we decided not to rebook and there our vacation to spend. The staff was very friendly, helpful and did sort for a pleasant stay provided. The rooms were very nice and spacious and were cleaned daily. The 3 ladies at the reception are friendly and competent. The waiter as well. The food has very good taste and it everything was there (salads, fresh fruit, Dessert, main dishes). The Pool and the grounds are very well maintained. The tennis courts have been renovated. The beach chairs were in the All-Inclusive package included. All in all a thoroughly relaxing holiday. We drive gladly again there.

Very bad. Absolute Ballermannhotel. Despite massive complaints including Please to forward it to management. Until after 23:00 in front of the rooms to Sleep Extreme volume by Donnerbaets. The disco is right out there in front of the interior-lying rooms. Absolutely Ballermannstandart. Vacancy has location with nothing to do! Incomprehensible!

Rubbish food. Rubbish entertainment. Nice clean rooms and pool alright.

Lovely hotel, nice and polite staff.

I was until early July in tej Marhaba and must say that I am deeply disappointed.
The service and friendliness of the staff leave much to be desired.
The animation is not appropriate in this hotel.
The food selection was also very open and cleared will also not to due my cutlery even have need to get almost every time and previous table using the clear.

Hotel clean, staff nice, competent, well maintained pool. Unfortunately only in restaurant is disorder, no fixed seats to the dinner there is also proper Kudel mudel.

Staff should be listening to the grievances of the people.

Nice hotel but we got robbed from our room back in 2007.

Hotel full of slang as Tunisia itself. If you go in Africa, only Egypt. In official stores are not routinely and buy products better there. And cheaper, and without the nerves. On the street everywhere dirt and stinks. Hashish is not removed. Alcohol gunk.

Now I am in this hotel.
From pluses: sea, Sun, friendly and helpful reception. Everything. :)

dirty rooms on the second floor, 3-th floor and above a bit cleaner (carpet, though without stains), we settled on the 5 floor
In constant confusion with cafeterias. That would be somewhere to sit down and eat some recourse. Very much straining so blunt.
The Russians are not very fond of. When the servants could for eyes nahamit′.
In general the hotel yourself. It is not clear why come here, Germans and French. Do for them such service is considered normal.
with animations too tight. Once the video as in the charging basin did and everything.

There is an exit to the city, the garbage lying around everywhere, with local trash. In Russia the streets cleaner.

I satyed at this hotel in March 2011 with three friends. We all had a Fantasitic time and laughed the Enitre week away. Although the rooms were basic, they were clean. The staff were extremley friendly and couldn't do enough for us all. I enjoyed so much that I want in October these holiday back again, for 10 nights, and I can't wait.
