Stayed here for a friend's wedding and it was great! And the beds and sheeting are so comfy and soft! Rooms are air conditioned with tea station, Wi-Fi and cable. Breakfast didn't wow me but it did taste good. And it's conveniently located near a large shopping mall and the airport. It also has a pool which is great but make sure and carry your key cuz it locks from the inside of the hotel and you'll have to walk around to the front entrance. It was overall a really good experience and the staff was very friendly.

Rooms are clean. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast OK. Staff at front desk just do their jobs but do not expect much kindness. Need transportation to go anywhere but hotel transportation can can arranged and used to go to nearby mall.

Gave it 1 star only because it is the best location, geographically speaking, when I visit Trinidad. Room cards get deprogrammed and you only figure this out once you reach your room. And then the front desk gives a bunch of excuses. "Leave your card when you leave and pick it up when you come back" C'mon fix the problem! No dining options in-house except if you take the free shuttle to nearby mall or order from Pizza Hut delivery. A Wendy's is being built nearby.

Good hotel comfortable beds and very good breakfast. Has transportation to airport and to the nearby mall. Be advised pretty much no where in T&T The AMEX card is accepted so take visa or MC. The restaurants by the mall are pretty good you can get the hotel shuttle and it will drop and pick you up on the same place. There is No restaurant at the hotel. But it is one of the most conveniently located hotel in Trinidad.

Handy for the airport, that's about it. The shuttle bus is a life line for this place. One his goes to the airport one to the mall. The hotel only does a basic breakfast NO other meals so you can order in or go to the mall where you will get any type of food you want. Room was alright. Pool was getting renovated.

They close early. Varied Aomacenes and good food area. There are shuttel from the hotel Holiday Inn.

Floors bathrooms and decor can do with a refresh. Breakfast particularly on Sunday was good. Great views from north and west wings. Pool was good enough.

This hotel n suites is great to be when u feel home sick, vacations, party an a great reception after weddings. But I find it need direct TV other than digital TV Love the pool side with its comfortable chairs n music all night till 11:00

There is no food pantry and the one vending machine was out of service. The next morning I took a shower and found additional water pouring on my head. Apparently the shower in the floor above me drains into my tub. I got to bathe in the run off from the occupant in the floor above. Not to mention the water was draining through the light socket creating a serious safety hazard. As if my stay wasn't bad enough. I spent that night fighting off a colossal cockroach. If you stay here, bring bug spray, or at least a big stick. No one fixes anything. This country as whole has a horrible work ethic, but I at least expect holiday inn to maintain its properties.

Absolutely no food here or anywhere around here, so don’t come here if you like to eat. Only food is a KFC 5 mins away.

It was my first time visiting this resort and I have to admit, it was quite enjoyable. Staff is friendly and very helpful. They have complimentary shuttles to and from both the airport and the mall which was very convenient. I would definitely recommended.

Stayed 1 night here at the end of a 12 day trip to Trinidad & Tobago. Chose the hotel as it was close to the airport to allow for a good night sleep before flying back to the UK. It was a nice but no thrills type of hotel, everything was of a good professional high standard. It was a bit expensive but I guess that was due to its close proximity to the airport. Overall I believe it’s a good hotel if you need to travel for work etc and need to be close to the airport but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re planning to stay for a while.

Nice place to stay near to Piarco Airport, confortable rooms, they free shuttle to the airport and shopping mall.

An express hotel for a night or two removed from the center.

It's a nice Holiday Inn. Clean. Great Room Service, Laundry Service. Breakfast (from 06:00 to 10:00) is very good and has more variety food than usual Holiday Inn Express. No Restaurant and a car is needed to get to a Restaurant. Close to Airport POS. Shuttle Service to POS.

The rooms were clean and cozy, pleasant reception staff and convenient shuttle service to and from airport. I spent 2 nights interspersed by a week (in transit to and from another destination). On both occassions it took me an hour to get the shuttle. The hotel is a very short distance from the airport so if you're not keen on waiting or saving a couple dollars, you could just take a taxi. On the first stay, I had a room on the ground floor with 2 beds. There is no fridge or kettle but there is a coffee maker with complimentary coffee/decaf/tea and 2 complimentary bottles of water. There is also a vending machine for snacks and drinks. The bathroom was cozy with a tub and overhead shower. When I turned on the shower, the first bit of water that came out was brown/yellow which was a bit unsettling but after a few seconds it cleared up. The next morning I had to be at the airport before 6:00am which is when breakfast starts but I did note that fruits had already been laid out. I was able to get the shuttle after a very brief wait (5 minutes tops). On the second stay, I had a room on the 3rd floor with 1 bed and a view of the pool. Again, quite cozy and this time no issue with the shower/bath. I had an even earlier flight this time around and had to take the first shuttle (4:00am). However, we (4 other hotel guests) had to wait about 15 minutes for the driver to get to work.

Close to the airport and on a main road. Close to Trincity Mall. All positives. Breakfast only. They do have sandwiches and salads from a vending machine. Wish there was an on site restaurant for lunch or dinner. The mall is close and has plenty of food options. Rooms are decent. Outdoor pool is clean and well maintained.

Just like a bit of home as this hotel met the standards of a Holiday Inn, rooms were very nicely furnished, good lighting, windows, linens, furniture, bathroom stocked with necessities. Breakfast was very nice by hotel standards. Shuttle to/from airport was responsive to our call from the Visitor Center at the airport and prompt in returning our party to the airport. (Visitor Center is open late but forget the exact time — very helpful as did not have cell phone with me. ) Only downside was lack of restaurants nearby but did have some delivery options. Most local vendors at airport were closed as arrived in early evening. Would definitely stay again for hotel near airport.

Good attention. Good facilities but no restaurant or room service. Point in favor: free transportation to the hotel and shopping center.

It's was a nice hotel with easy access to most things in the east west corridor in Trinidad. It was clean, the staff was friendly and very accommodating and the breakfast was pleasant.

All I have to say when u are looking for good customer service this hotel is just that, because they accommodate you to the fullest for everything such as etc taking up to all various locations out off when requested, so I will hope for anyone who visits Trinidad and looking for convenience this hotel is the place to be, and by the way there is a guy who's name is ALVIN his great customer support is always fine that make me always want to stay there when I m visiting my country… my wife and kids always look forward 4 a great time when Visiting and I will % recommend this place…

My husband and I flew in from Texas. We enjoyed the hotel. They hotel was clean and quite. Everyone was very helpful. They offered us bottle water every time we came back into the hotel. Because of the Island customs breakfast ends at 10am. We was offered plenty of towels. I read the other reviews and skeptical about the customer service but I have to say the employee's are very professional.

I missed my flight back to the USA I called the hotel to make a reservation cause it was the closest and most convenient one for me. Got there the hospitality of the front desk staff as well mention Adana and Natalie went above and beyond my expectations Im IHG Front Desk Manager I no the standard of our Brand and to see that Hoilday Inn Trinidad offer a standard of any 5 star brand the room clean great breakfast amenities and was reconized as a Spire elite member I would highly recommend this location.

VERY Poor customer service, went three days before room was cleaned, no towels, had to walk from pool to room dripping wet. And lied to by front desk, they told us that they will send someone to clean room and no one came! Not even deserving 1 star.

Poor quality furniture, poor customer treatment and lazy great room workers.

A somewhat unique experience due to it location. Movietowne is very nearby as well as there heart of Port of Spain. You would expect it to be busy and noisy due to being near to the city but surprisedly not. That's its unique flavour it brings to the local pot of hotels in Trinidad. Looking at the other aspects it's your typical hotel providing good service and a lovely Trini experience.

BEDBUGS! Horrible experience. Stayed for 3 nights, and did not notice the bedbug bites until the last day. It has been 3 weeks and I still have horribly itchy bites. Grrrrr.
