Its a beach opposite resort. Room so nice and good service. Near 7 eleven and food street on side in resort. Only one thing indian food only 2 km far.

A wonderful restaurant with incredibly delicious food and wonderful views.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Place is a mess, management is horrible! We paid just over $1000 for 6 nights! Arrived late on the 27th Of August! The guy at the front barely spoke to us, we got to our room and it was horrible, there was mould on the shower curtain, in the aircon and all over the bathroom! The shower didn't work, only dripped out cold water but still managed to flood the bathroom floor! The next morning I went down to complain (which I hate doing as I work in customer service and understand what it is like) we got transferred to another room which was much better. The next morning we had breakfast at the hotel (we hadn't had time to leave the hotel yet) and I got food poisoning from the hotel food! So disappointing, called the manager to discuss but was never actually at the hotel at the time we called 2 days in a row (may of been on lunch, which is fine). When we got talking to him, he blamed us for the food poisoning, saying its because its our first time to Thailand, which didn't make any sense. I wanted to go to the spa they had there to get my hair braided before a tour the next morning! I got there around 6:40pm, knowing they closed at 7pm to ask if they could do 2 braids. The lady I spoke to said it was fine and just wanted me to wait as she had a customer in the sauna.

Pretty bad experience. Stayed for three nights and changed three rooms. 1st night at room 1415. Air con not working after one night stay. Made to change to room close to midnight to room 5101 near poolside for the second night. 2nd night at room 5101. Power failure and cannot restore. Made to change to room 1407. 3rd night was ok but overall experience was a little disappointing. Will not recommend.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was very helpful, the room facing the pool was perfect and the breakfast was amazing. The best value-for-money stay we have had in Thailand and will definitely be back. There was even a free shuttle to the Patong beach-area leaving every half hour.

The hotel is nestled along the Kalim beach. It has sunsets that will blow your mind away. The staff are the reason why this place makes me choose it the best on the Island. They will go all out to make sure you have a good holiday vacation trip. The best place to be in Phuket.

I loved the Sunset Hotel… it is an older Hotel set right opposite the beach, rooms have view over the sea or overlooking the pool… I chose a room right in the middle over looking the pool which is large with waterfalls at both ends. Pool Bar. Plus a another bar at the opposite end. Towels are available on a daily basis… Options of stairs or lifts which I found efficient. I found the Hotel charming with the best breakfast. Everyone is friendly, helpful. Quiet atmosphere at night which is a must for me Cons: no toothbrushes or Hair conditioner, which I rely on in all hotels I stay at. If I go back to Patong I shall certainly stay at the Sunset… Josephine… Perth.

The hotel was great with a free upgrade to a room overlooking the pool. Great clean pool area and free shuttle to Bangla road and back every 30 minutes. Reception staff very friendly. My one big complaint would be that the staff operating the tour desk were hardly ever there. We tried to hire a scooter three days in a row but the staff were never there even after promising to be there to do the booking. This was very frustrating as we planned to rent and waited for them to arrive at the time promised but nobody arrived. The staff at reception took all the complaints very well but it actually had nothing to do with them. Other than this all was good.

Sunset beach Resort is a great resort in terms of location near kalim beach at Phuket. It’s so close to the beach. A big swimming ‍♀️ ‍♂️ pool is here. The room is big and clean. Room services are also excellent. Price is very reasonable considering location. Buffet breakfast.

The place was beautiful… Only reason it is getting 4 stars is because. It would be nice if they had more staff that speak English in the reception area and hire friendly staff too. The reception guys were sometimes not welcoming.

Very nice budhet hotel the staff is friendly always ready to help with a smile rooms are cleaned daily and they cater to all your needs. Had an amazing stay.

Loved it. Everything about this hotel is perfect. Right from rooms to pool. Very near to patong central but still requires a vehicle. Not exactly a beach resort as the beach is across the road.

I have found the staff friendly and helpful room cleaned daily and if any issues they have fixed it up plenty to choose from for breakfast which was free so double thumbs up from these 2 kiwis.

That's all right. You can relax. Only it is desirable if to take permits only in the new building. Near the pool and from the road far.

Friendly service. Great breakfast. Food a la carte also great. Close enough to centre of Phuket providing free taxi service. Room not smoke free so a bit 'smelly' room. Rooms good enough for Phuket visit.

Location I had a spacious and cozy room with a beautiful view of the mountains. PERSONPL polite and always friendly, will fulfill any your whim. The hotel has its own tuk-tookie that bring to the beach. The restaurant plays pleasant music. With warmth and love Vsaominaju your holiday at Sunset Beach Resort.

Bad hotel. Sleep here for 3 nights. Employees very unfriendly. You get a "welcome drink" when you order a drink you can only get a orange juice for free In the bed where bed bugs, I have everywhere rash, also spoke with 2 other people who stayed in the hotel and they had the same problem. Everything is over priced Hotel is near a busy road so you can't get a good night rest. Baddest hotel I every been Shame on you!

We love Sunset Beach although reception is bad with English. Always a struggle. We stayed near the pool and we swam a lot. The pool bars is good and serves a decent Pina colada. The other side of the bar has chairs where you can sit in the pool. The restaurant's food is fantastic and prices good. My favorite is the chicken basket. Everything on the menu is good. They have transport to main town continually. Breakfast is good especially the rolled omelet. We love this resort and always come back. Nice vendors near the beach that sells lovely food and delights. Try their fried ice cream and Mango sticky rice.

A normal simple hotel is a 3. There is no beach for swimming nearby. But calm. The service is good. Nearby street food trade in the evenings, I recommend.

Great place to stay. The food is good and the rooms are clean. There's also a mini bus that goes to bangla road every half hour and is free to use.

We were given not such a nice room (no sea or swimming pool view, had a backroad view) when we arrived, and ask to get a better. They immediately gave us a different room, with a view of the swimming pool. Rooms were clean. Housekeeping could be improved. The hotel spa was very nice. The swimming pool was very clean and had good privacy. Hotel food is a bit expensive the best thing to do was to cross the road and get food from the street vendors that I would definitely recommend. Easily accessible by car A few kilometres from Patong Beach (City centre). The hotel provides a free ride to Patong Beach every 40 minutes, but I would recommend getting a scooter (Hotel is expensive. Hire from across the road) and explore.

Loved it. While Sunset Beach Resort is rated 3.5stars… the service is 5star with views that transport you to a gentler, warmer, state of mind at the first glance. Cannot speak highly enough for how I've been treated. This goes above service or professionalism. I felt genuinely cared for.

Hi everyone, just to say that our stay at Sunset Beach Resort has been great because the friendly service and the very helpful staff. The location is handy and the shuttle service to Patong Town is excellent. The place has everything we need to relax and enjoy life. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We love you all.

Good hotel on the beach with a great view. Rooms are good and well maintained although I had to complain to housekeeping to clean the bathroom of big cockroaches. The restaurant with a wonderful view of the sea, offers a good menu of American and Thai breakfast. The front lobby is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the sea and the pool at the back to relax and enjoy your drink.

Ordered transfer from the airport and did not wait … The rooms are large with a balcony, the furniture is old, the gym does not match the pictures of the simulators not working rusty, very high humidity in the room conder could not cope smelling damp. Breakfast is monotonous not apetite, the floors at breakfast in the dining room are very dirty. From the pluses free transport to jang ceylon every half hour, and the pool! I advise you to see a newer hotel.

Love place to stay, outside of the busy town Nice swimming pool accommodation and central to everything.

It's nice. Quiet place away from crazy Patong party beach areas.

We stayed here in November 2015 for 5 days, it was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the guy that escorted us across the road every morning (from the Poolside villa to the dinning area). Will be heading back in May 2016, can't wait. The hotel was great. Food was good too. My children's clothes were taken from our room the hotel cannot explain this to me or tell me if it's been found. We only realised when we returned home.

Have stayed here at Sunset 3 times. No complaints at all. Very friendly staff. Reception and Bell are most helpful. Very comfortable rooms. Will definitely return.

It was all good. My husband and I went in January 2011. So we went for a quiet stay, we liked it because I was at that time on the 5th month of pregnancy and special entertainment and night life we are not especially needed. Upset the beach at the hotel, not even assumed that there was such stones, husband, all the feet of cut stones, hoping that they would ever end. Had to leave and on Patong beach and Karon beach to sunbathe, I have to say on Karon cleaner beach and transparent water and sand under your feet crunches as snow in winter. They ate in different places, tried in a local restaurant and cafe, located close to local Muslim women, very bad, of course bored by our Russian food, so Patong found a couple of restaurants «House on the road», it keeps uncle Yuri, all his so called, and the «Xenia» — enjoy the familiar dishes.
In the hotel we had a guide-Rimma, really liked her attitude to us tourists. Whatever we asked her, she always kind of lost, and had to call her to find out what we are interested in, because in the hotel, it is not. And in the end she showed herself. For the day, as it should be everywhere, must be informed, who, when and how many leaves.
