Review of Katathani Phuket Beach Resort - SHA Extra Plus 5*

Fabulous Hotel. Very well placed directly on the most beautiful beach (for me) in Phuket. Quiet Beach. Hotel in a large park of greenery. Very clean, very spacious rooms. We had a room for the 4 of US (2 Adults 2 children 12 and 14 years old. ) Very well designed room as a sliding partition separates the two bedrooms. Huge bed. (2m I think) Large bathroom with corner bathtub large shower and 2 washbasins. Toilet linen and towels for the beach changed every day. Very large staff and small care. Always smiling and kind. Everything is thought to serve the best holidaymaker. Very few mosquitoes (my fear). Ambient Air in Phuket hot and humid but no problem if you fluffs well every day as recommended. Perfume Diffusers (citronella) in each room and in all the common places. Breakfast in the form of buffet very varied and very good tasting quality. Nothing's missing. During the check out, as we were leaving late at night and the room is to be made before noon (normal), possibility to continue to enjoy the immense park of 5 swimming pools and access to a shower (on request) to cool off before taking the plane. Certainly apart from the crowd and a little away from the shops but ideal when this is what we are looking for. Possibility to reach the other beach of Kata and its many shops in 5 minutes on foot. And if you are really too tired you can go in tuk tuk or taxi (those in the street and not those of the hotel because more expensive) for 200 baths. Many restaurants on the other hand it is true more expensive than those found on the street opposite. We were present at the 24 December buffet (included in the price). It was grandiose in quality and quantity. Tables installed in the park. A magical Christmas. Only criticism the drinks were paying extra. Damage. If I ever have the opportunity to return to Phuket I choose this hotel without hesitation.
