My partner and I had the most incredible wedding here on March 2nd this year. We were lucky enough to get in before travel was cancelled. The entire wedding was perfection, the planners and team at the resort were so supportive and helped make our day everything we hoped it would be. It is now one of my favourite hotels to stay in. There is a great service (I really appreciated Shan from the pool bar for his exceptional service and great attitude), very clean rooms, the stuff is very friendly and helpful. We wanted to see what is around and rented a car Orange car Phuket. We didn’t expect it would be so easy and comfortable! It was a real pleasure for me to stay at this hotel an I really hope that I will come back again!

We are staying at present in the Chanalai Garden Resort, we booked a deluxe sea view room, so glad we did it is spectacular and the view is stunning, the service and the staff are exceptional, nothing to much trouble. If you wants to go somewhere, it is not a problem to rent a car on Orange car Phuket.

Wonderful friendly staff. Our family holiday was lovely,, the only negative is the beach was very polluted with plastics and other debris,, maybe think about cleaning it daily. Otherwise our holiday was great.

Outside of the quality of the basic (deluxe) rooms, I recommend this resort. It is on a beautiful beach with a lot of activities. There are 6 restaurants, each of which the food is pretty good (but not great). A couple negatives include sub-par quality of the basic rooms (dirty, high humidity, peeling paint) & they charge separately for almost everything (boogie board rental). Also it is very popular for families with young children, so think twice if that concerns you.

A magnificent resort away from the hustle and bustle of Patong. Terrific service, beautiful rooms and amenities, top quality restaurants and absolutely stunning views of the grounds and beach! Definitely worth a visit.

Had my wedding at Katathani and couldn’t fault it. They were so accommodating to all our guests going completely above and beyond all expectations, such a beautiful resort, rebooking a holiday there soon. All the pools were amazing, and the bars served yummy food and cocktails.

Amazing beach and pools. Attentive and friendly staff.

Just spent a week there and it really is truly awesome, great views, great facilities and the staff are awesome. It may not be in the middle of Patong, but I'd take this over staying down there every time.

Gorgeous resort, was pleased to be a bit out of the chaos that is the rest of Phuket, but close enough if we needed to go. Staff are lovely, the food is fantastic and the rooms are great. The multiple pools abs grounds ate immaculate. Well worth staying at!

Where to begin! This is the only place to stay when In Phuket! The resort is by far one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed! Great breakfast! Private beach! Huge resort with all the amenities you could want! Multiple very luxurious pools. Is kinda on the far side of town but is definitely worth the extra drive! Can’t wait to return!

One of the best resort for family, even the resort is environment friendly, staff is very friendly and understanding customer need very much. Very near to Katha beach. It's very big resort, even family can spend 3 days without going out for anywhere in Phuket. Swimming pool are very clean also have some activities for kids, morning have breakfast front of Andaman Sea. Must visit once in life time experience.

The most relaxing holiday ever. Beautiful restaurants. ALL the staff from top to bottom were very friendly and helpfull. The resort itself was kept at a very high standard.
My only gripe is to do with the smoking around the pool areas.
I would highly recommend this resort for anyone.

We are currently residing in Katathani Beach Resort and we are so disappointed with the cleanliness of the beach. The Resort does not reflect 5 stars at all. I would give it a 3 star due to being outdated and the service staff needs an improvement as well. The rooms are good size but we are not visiting to be in the room. We Verde traveling to be by the beach The water is beautiful but as much as the resort advertise their private beach it’s simply impossible to enjoy it due to the amount of trash on the beach. What a disappointment especially because the beach is really small and it would take probably 2 hours for few people to pick up the trash daily to make it look like on the photos. It’s really not like that. The beach access for guest hotel is full of trash as well. We have been to few beaches in Phuket but this one just brings the sad view of world pollution Very disappointed!

Really again an awesome experience. Staff is friendly and a big thank you to the security there that is always friendly and helpful. Place is clean… The breakfast is out of this world. And for those gym guys out there… They have 2 gyms and wow you will be able to keep training like you were at home. Love the beaches as this beach is always clean and their pools are awesome. Overall really awesome and if u a family with kids… This is a hotel to be at. Really enjoyed.

Easily the best resort I have ever stayed at. Besides the immaculate presentation of the gardens, buildings and amenities… The 6 luxurious and fun swimming pools… The golden sand and turquoise ocean… the numerous, quality Bars and Restaurants… the biggest asset of Katahani Beach Resort, for me personally, is the Staff! From the Lobby staff, to the cleaners, the bell hop staff to the guards at the pedestrian crossings, and bartenders… Every single member of the staff, made my wife and I, feel extremely special, during our stay. You are all a credit to the citizens of Thailand, and the humility and graciousness you exhibit through your service, is exemplary to people over the world. Hopefully the staff and management of the Resort get to read my review because I genuinely believe they are a massive asset, and I sincerely thank you all for taking care of us during our 20 year wedding anniversary getaway. You will definitely be seeing us again in the future, with some family members in tow. Thank you all, very much.

Stunning resort with all the amenities for families or couples looking to escape the madness surrounding Patong. Located on a well kept beach with crystal clear water. My wife and I enjoyed staying here and will definitely return in the near future.

The grounds, the beach is wonderful! The rooms and housekeeping are awful! Luxury suites are not pulled even with a big stretch! Need repair, sealant in the bathroom and on the sink dark from the mould. Furniture, shelves, glass with chipped. The room smells like damp. Mirrors as stopped were all zalypany and in Podtekah, and will remain visible till the end of vacation such. Cleaning is purely formal, if there is a toy on the floor will not lift it, and wipe the floor around it. Rubbing tables and bedside tables in the range of their duties in general is not included, as well as rubbing the horizontal surfaces in the bathroom. The beach towels are replaced daily without reminders, well done. Manager Malik, the smart Girl is always ready to help. We stayed at this hotel 4 years ago and found this place to be a great plus for families with children. Breakfasts for every taste and eggs, and porridge, and pastries are different, and cereals, and yogurts, fruit variety, hungry will not stay. If not the old room and not a terrible cleaning everything would be perfect!

The best hotel to stay with children. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The food is europezed. There are no crowds at breakfast or in the bassens. For children (ours was 1.6) Perfect pool! Nice children's room.

I would like to visit:) This is the only hotel facing the picturesque Bay of Kata Noi. But you can go down to the bay and stairs, from the top of the road. About 70 steps. There is a chic wide and long sandy beach. But the place is not shallow. During a storm to bathe dangerously, especially, from edges of a bay where stones. On the beach are on duty rescuers and, apparently, not for nothing. At Kata Beach The waves are always smaller, because there the beach is covered by the waves from the sea by the island of Koh Pu. Well, if the weather is not bad, then ride on the waves is great. Moreover, it is safe in the center, because the beach is deep and sandy. By the reason, the path with the steps in the evening after 19.00 is closed by a wicket and get to the beach after 19.00 will fail. Through the wicket, for those who do not live in the hotel is the only way to get there. At the top, the people who arrived put their bikes and cars. As you will see a lot of bikes and cars parked, look for a wicket:)

Absolutely amazing! The beach is gorgeous — clean, white sand and clear blue water. The grounds are immaculate, rooms really clean and modern. Stand out is the service and smiles from the staff, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Our kids loved the water park and kids club! We will definitely be back!

As a long stay tourist, I find the view gorgeous. The food is average and the service is good and fast. I recommend this place for a lunch. Don't forget to take some pictures ;)

Fantastic hotel. We stayed in the one bedroom royal suite — completely and utterly worth it. Awesome views (and sounds) of Kata Noi beach. Service is amazingly helpful, courteous and friendly. Room is exceptionally comfortable, although some finishes are lacking. Numerous bars and restaurants on site with both traditional Thai and western offerings. Family friendly resort, so if children are a deal breaker, unfortunately (for you) this may not be your spot. I traveled with my wife on our anniversary and loved every minute.

I was 2016 the first time in this hotel. I was very pleased.
Now I am the second time in the KATATHANI and it will be the last time.
You pay for a 4.5 star hotel but gets a middle 3 star hotel.
1. Since the arrival date, I have the same fingerprints on the bathroom glass window.
2. Since the arrival date I have a brown spot in front of the shower which is getting bigger.
3. In the shower there was mold in the joints.
4. On the arrival Muffelt it is extremely in rooms! Which did not change over the whole 14 days! Had a fragrance lamp in the room but was only filled with water.
5. TV had exactly one German channel. Logically, I did not travel to Thailand to watch TV. But for 4.5 stars you can expect more.
6. Room service was OK. However, if you ordered something in the room and the Gerschirr after dinner, it was still in the same place after 12h.
7. In the morning at half past nine was already hammered very diligently and things dragged around what could be heard in every room very well.
My conclusion: For the money next time I go to an apartment and just stay 2 weeks longer.

Awesome hotel at a terrific location! The kids didn't want to leave the pools and the beach is so beautiful. The staff gave great service and the Pizza place was Yummy ;) We really enjoyed our stay. Will be back!

Myself and my wife with our two children aged 18 months stayed at Katathani in a Grand Deluxe Room for a week at the start of April in 2018. This really is an amazing family resort and we really enjoyed our stay. The location on Kata Noi beach is brilliant, the beach is clean and not too busy, there are also several good restaurants in the area. The road running through Kata Noi is a dead-end so there isn’t much traffic around and it is quiet area. The staff are well trained, friendly and very professional, they never missed an opportunity to say hello and were really good with our kids. The room was in a new building and very well equipped with a lounge area and a balcony. The room was cleaned daily and spotless. It had 2 large Samsung TVs which were helpful to keep the kids entertained. The facilities were excellent, there are several pools with the a children’s play pool that is good fun for the kids. There are several good restaurants in the resort albeit a little pricey for Thailand, however if you have a delicate stomach it’s a safer bet than eating elsewhere. In summary we had an amazing stay at Katathani, this place is really suited for families and great for kids. We would definitely return and would recommend this resort.

Lovely hotel, huge grounds, lush greenery, clean beach and magical sea, good breakfast on the outdoor terrace, several swimming pools including children with slides and other activities, lovely kids club with two play areas (free), The staff looking very attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. Beach towels were delivered daily to the room between 17:00 and 18:00. Very polite and helpful staff in the entire hotel. The bay is really good, some still well intact flora, good for snorkeling, lido in the immediate vicinity, will make stop here more often! Just awesome and also nice quiet.

I suffered severe food poisoning, vomiting and diarrhoea for a week! This was narrowed down to the breakfast at the hotel (we only ate at the hotel). I passed out it was so bad with abdominal pain, if a child had contracted what I had they would of needed intensive care! The hotel staff are all smiles when you arrive but if anything wrong happens they do not want to know or do anything about it! It ruined what was an expensive holiday and the management were a total joke! Avoid this place and look elsewhere.

A great hotel with many high level services, the beach has many hellos, but if you have a quiet day it is a last bathe in it. It has several separate pools one is with activities and another is quiet where you can't make noise to relax. It has its own spa where they do the typical Thai massage and other physiotherapy modalities. To eat they have several restaurants with different types of food, typical Thai food, a pizzeria that has nothing to envy to those of a good Italian at a very good price, a steak roaster. Trips to Phi Phi Islands are highly recommended. It has everything, it's perfect to relax and unwind. Room service is very good and the bedroom is always clean.

If it weren't for the worn rooms with poor cleaning, you could call it a great hotel. The grounds are magnificent. The service is excellent.

This hotel is just splendid. A wonderful view of the sea, breathtaking cocktails and different pool dixènes. I've even been able to get my drone to go from the beach. On the other hand there is no one who speaks French everyone speaks Italian. I hope his will help you.

I absolutely loved this resort. It was close to the beach, the facilities and services, restaurants and bars were fantastic! The security surround the premises made it feel safe and the private beach meant it was not overly crowded with tourists. I'd be careful with booking activities and excursions via the hotel — not because it was not safe but because the excursion itself was not very entertaining.

Pure bliss! Katathani runs the entire length of Kata Beach. Excellent value for money. Food is devine, service impeccable, staff friendly and courteous. Grounds extensive and simply beautiful. So many lovely pools, about 10 I think including adult only pools. Hard to decide whether to be on the beach to swim in the beautiful surf or lay beside a pool under the shade adjacent one of the many bars and order lunch and cocktails. Brain in neutral the entire time there. It was like walking through someone elses' dream — too beautiful to be real…

A very beautiful place with a white sand and an even transparent entrance to the sea. It's not crowded, everyone's going to find a place. There are cafes right on the shore, and across the street shops, shooting house Family Mart, where you can buy everything inexpensively. I advise you to visit. Good rest to all! ☺

Nice resort area. Abit expensive and forced to upgrade to a suite room at a way higher price when they wouldn't honor my online booking. Also we had a wedding and the bar was only open bar for 4 hours… during dinner and the speeches obviously when no one is going to be going up to be getting drinks. Pretty stingy for a high class resort. Also dinner was a buffet… at a wedding? Come on.

A great place for a family holiday, including with young children. There is a nice children's room and a children's water park. And in general the hotel is at the highest level. No complaints. In the rooms every day cleaning, beach towels also every day change. The area is green, large, well-groomed, there are several pools. The location of the hotel is good — right on the beach, the beach, although municipal, but there are no outsiders on it, because the passage to it through the hotel itself. The beach is clean, the water is turquoise, clear. The sea is super! In general, we liked everything. I recommend this hotel)

It has a nice view of the beach, but it's worth it, though it's expensive. The only drawback is that Wi-Fi is a bit slow.

Excellent and expansive resort with extensive facilities. Beautiful beach and at times nice surf out front. The staff, as in most Thai resorts are absolutely brilliant. Amazing food in all 6 restaurants. The buffet breakfast is a highlight. Some of the rooms and facilities are getting a little "tired" and need renovation. Overall though, brilliant.

Splendid place, huge high-end hotel, exlusive service. Hotel is near local restaurants, has a lit of outdoor and indoor activities. The stuff is the most polite I have personaly ever encountered. The beach is private, sand and well maintained. The sea is crystal clear. Would recommend to everyone.

Other than the massive amount of non-well behaved tourists (most of them if not all, from the same country), an OK place. Unfortunately, the staff is not trained to look after the comfort of the people who actually care for the rules, not yelling, not making every place they tread a dumpster, or not letting their children behave like savages. It's a pity, because it's a really beautiful place, but I think I wouldn't come back because of all that, and if you care about these things, as I do, I can't really reccommend.

Value for money dismal. Everything is expensive. Smoothies have more ice than fruit.

Great place for a weekend getaway. Breakfast buffet was good too. Only few complain are the recreational room closes too early at around 10p. M and the private beach had no lifeguard on it coupled with the fact that there were quite a few logs around the shore and a little girl got trapped underneath the log.

International Village with Quality services. Great food, very large beach, clean and large rooms, very quiet.

We loved our stay here! We are not normally the type to stay at a big resort but since this was our first trip with our little girl we thought it would be more comfortable, and it was. The hotel is right on one of the best beaches in Phuket and they clean it daily. It's away from the main part of town but there are some shops and restaurants behind the hotel for when you want to get out. They have an excellent place for walking, the trail is at least a kilometer and a half walk through the resort and is very well maintained. The included breakfast is delicious and the staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms could use an update but they're well cleaned well maintained at just like the rest the resort. The beach is literally right out your door.

Resort articulated with various buildings similar to a Picvolo country, quiet. Equipped with 6 restaurants of various kinds never crowded.

Fabulous Hotel. Very well placed directly on the most beautiful beach (for me) in Phuket. Quiet Beach. Hotel in a large park of greenery. Very clean, very spacious rooms. We had a room for the 4 of US (2 Adults 2 children 12 and 14 years old. ) Very well designed room as a sliding partition separates the two bedrooms. Huge bed. (2m I think) Large bathroom with corner bathtub large shower and 2 washbasins. Toilet linen and towels for the beach changed every day. Very large staff and small care. Always smiling and kind. Everything is thought to serve the best holidaymaker. Very few mosquitoes (my fear). Ambient Air in Phuket hot and humid but no problem if you fluffs well every day as recommended. Perfume Diffusers (citronella) in each room and in all the common places. Breakfast in the form of buffet very varied and very good tasting quality. Nothing's missing. During the check out, as we were leaving late at night and the room is to be made before noon (normal), possibility to continue to enjoy the immense park of 5 swimming pools and access to a shower (on request) to cool off before taking the plane. Certainly apart from the crowd and a little away from the shops but ideal when this is what we are looking for. Possibility to reach the other beach of Kata and its many shops in 5 minutes on foot. And if you are really too tired you can go in tuk tuk or taxi (those in the street and not those of the hotel because more expensive) for 200 baths.

Great hotel Beautiful beach!

The resort is apparently beautiful but the appearance deceives and experiencing it you will discover the flaws.
The interiors are very nice.
The rooms are large but Spartan but above all humid by fear: sheets always moist humid furniture, all wet even the walls and any so you leave on the furniture is moistened, even the cloths in the drawers.
To avoid the rooms on the 1st floor, you will be showcased, and prefer those in the main complex.
Decent cleanliness even though some dirty towel we found it and to end up also a nice cockroach.
The exteriors are beautiful, 4 pools one more beautiful than the other, bars with great coktel, lawns trees and palms everywhere and possibility to do massages on the lawn at the equivalent of 10 euros.
However wherever you go you will find children who chattering
Great restaurants especially the Italian one where besides great food you will be pampered from start to finish.
Sea not excellent, often rough and beach not quite clean to be private.
In conclusion I would say it is a good resort but definitely recommend it to couples on honeymoon in search of intimacy and an exclusive place.
Advised not to go to Puchet in the months of October and November, when we went, due to the high chance of rain.

Seaside: The restaurant of Katathani horrible and expensive and without service.
We will not return to the restaurant of Katathani "Seaside". The dishes are bad qualities. Caesar salad contains only green salad leaves. The service is non existent and we are charged 10% of the price for the service while we have to look for the dishes.
When we tell them, the cashier tells us that it's government taxes.
And to top it all up she raises her voice to explain.

I've been here with my girlfriend for 4 days. It's gorgeous. Very nice facility. Food of the finest. The beach very nice and clean. All kinds of offers for dinner. Live music with your own band… you just have to experience.

Well, it is a good resort. Not a great one, but a good one. There are a lot of little things that bugged me, but others are done good.

Expensive but amazing, romantic and probably caters more to the honeymooners than solo travellers but absolutely stunning grounds and staff. If I won the lottery…

Not a big fan of staying at resorts but I had to for a wedding. Nice place with a very clean and beautiful beach. Friendly staff. Rooms in labor day could be a little nicer for the price. We saw the beachfront and for the price difference it would be worth the upgrade. If you want good food at a much more reasonable price make sure you take a cab or tuk tuk into town. Also, don't take the hotels shuttle service. Walk down the road a few hundred feet and haggle with drivers. Same 15$ going to airport by doing this. They also had great breakfast.

We visited hotel just to check and get a feeling for next visit. It is very nice location, beautiful beach, nice territory with grass. The prices seem to be extra but they use the charm of the beach and good location at maximum.

Wide beach, nice pools, large rooms, very polite staff. 3 stages buildings are not romantic but near to pools and beach then comfortable. Massage service is cheap and very popular there.

We're a family of four so had two rooms in the thani wing overlooking the pool and ocean. Both rooms lovely, spacious and clean. Hotel very large and takes up all of kata noi beach. Although never too busy around pool areas. Breakfast delicious and enough choice for all tastes. All staff genuinely very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

This resort is just perfect if you want to get away from it all. Katathani phuket beach resort is Thailand Tourism Award winning hotel in 2006, 2008, 2010 I can see why ‍‍ ‍‍‍.

Had a fantastic week with my 4 adult children and husband enough for everyone to do and feel like the meals bars and environment catered for everyone. Staff were lovely and most importantly the room was immaculate and very clean and the grounds impeccable, manicured daily. Will definitely come back.

Occupancy when encountered several problems, but in the front office lady warm reception and guidance are the perfect solution, especially a short hair front lady polite and enthusiastic to solve my problems, encountered such a situation, I still have what not satisfied with it, I am very satisfied, I think I like the Katathani.

The hotel is at the level of 5 you can safely ride.

A Beautiful place with an Unkind, or Horrible Staff member. I lost my valuable stuff here in my room. A woman in the reception suggested me emailing Lost&found Dep. I did it right away, and they replied they received my message and they are investigating on this case. Since then I still waiting their result, or a letter of apology. I've stayed at Junior Suite, Thani Wing side for 2 nights, Sep 8th~10th 2014. Make sure KEEP all your valuable in the SAFE or in your LUGGAGE and LOCK it.

All nice and clean, only I did not feel that it was really four star. According to the photos they renovated it back slightly.

Staff at the entrance very intrusive. This hotel works with the taxi mafia. Very unfähiges staff. Pool were rules of guests not observed and the staff pointed out they also not. To high price for the diensstleistungen. Pool was never cleaned. Am is breakfast table simply cleared away if you want to get a 2nd time.

A beautiful hotel! Everything very clean and very friendly and helpful staff! The sandy beach is exceptional, but super, we find also the pools.

A very great hotel. After my exhausting trip to Thailand, I could relax in this hotel. Necessarily there use the SPA. I felt immediately as at home and has been pampered culinary and otherwise. The service in this hotel is very good and I come back.

A very nice Resort with a beatifull beach. Nice staff and a very friendly and warm welcome! Food is also very good. We enjoyed suberb holidays.

This resort was fabulous. Plenty of pools to swim from and the views of the crystal blue ocean were gorgeous. Staff was extremely friendly. The lobby was clean, smelled nice, and well-decorated. The buffet breakfast had many meals, fruits, and deserts to pick from. However, the resort did not own the beach because it is public. So there is a chance that you could encounter locals trying to sell you souvenirs. Overall, the resort was an exceptional place for singles, couples, and the whole family. Would definitely recommend the place to anyone traveling to Phuket for vacation.

Our family had a rest in the hotel Katathani Buri Wing 4* (this is the second building Katathani) from 19 April to 3 may. We really enjoyed! Beautiful, clean the territory. Very pleasant, smiling staff. Wonderful Breakfast buffet for Breakfast. Even the fact that we stayed in the room is not the time for us to not upset! We were planning for a pleasant holiday and enjoyed the warmth, smiles, care. We believed that we were in Heaven on Earth, so we had a good time! But suddenly collecting things on the evening of may 2, I found that bought a purse, from a Stingray skin, it disappeared. Purse stolen 1 or 2 may, TC 30 April I put it in the evening in a suitcase. 3 may, I announced this Russian girl at the reception. She said that can't be, can find houses But arriving home found that there is still a suitcase by my white pants company MEXX and belt husband purchased at the snake farm. Fantastic impression about the country, about the hotel was dispelled. With respect family yakimenko.

Very nice hotel. Staff is very professional, good food, very clean and a wonderful garden with swimming pools on the beach.
