3 days stay review. Not worth the price that we paid to this resort unlike Bali. It’s not so cheap resort and our expectations were not met at all. In terms of services, not so that bad. But some staff are not smiling enough to greet the guests. No matter what time your guests are going to check in, this kind of big resort should have someone to greet and fetch the guests properly from the entrance at all time. (P. S out check in time around 9 pm) All are my personal reviews only. Perhaps, we had great services from Bali and that’s how our expectations differ this time.

Best place in Phuket. Private beach and helpful staff.

Friendly helpful staff such as Mr A, Jan, and Mr Moo made our holiday a delight hope they are there next year loved our holiday.

Private Beach property. Spacious rooms and ample amneties everywhere, for kids as well as for us to enjoy during our stay there. Very very hospitable and courteous staff, always treating the guests with a smile on their face and ready to help you. Excellent stay. Breakfast spread is very very good, with lot of options for Vegetarians too. Enjoyed Live music at night over the beach. highly recommended. ขอบคุณ Thavorn.

We stay there for a week, the pool is gorgeous and the whole resort is very nice. We appreciated that the resort is quite private. The bed is biggest I have ever slept in. The tropical garden is magical and seems almost unreal. Highly recommended!

Everything was too perfect during our honeymoon in Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa. The staffs (Joy, Maria, Jan and almost all of them) helped to make our stay very beautiful by providing abundance of assistance. Will definitely recommend the resort to everyone in my circle. Beautiful resort close to Kamala and Pathong. We stayed in a room with pool access and close to the beach. Stunning vegetation and the pool and gardens are very well kept. The staff is very friendly and helpful the restaurant food tasty and well priced. There is also a hotel shuttle to and from Pathong every day. The beach is spectacular for walks and a swim. Had a great stay and would highly recommend this resort.

Beautiful surroundings and staff who cannot do enough for you. They are accommodating. Friendly, caring and genuine and really look after their guests.

We had a great stay. The resort, our room, the view from our room were breath taking. The staff were excellent. We were warmly welcomed by Johnny John, he's very helpful, warm and accomodating. I would also like to commend Tatum from Thai Sala, Tatum was also helpful. Thank you to the bell boys who helped us with our luggage, Toto and Aek. Kudos to the housekeeping too, our room was always squeaky clean! Peaches, from the restaurant, was thoughtful, we missed the breakfast buffet and I was sad, she gave me a plate of bread and fruits which cheered me up! We enjoyed the pool, it's my favorite part of the resort. I can't wait to be back! Thank you so much Thavorn Beach Village Resort! ❤️

We stayed three nights at this hotel, and absolutely loved it. We had a room with pool access and that proved to be a great choice. Just to open the sliding doors to the patio and step into the water is a great feeling. The bed was enormous, bathroom well equipped with a separate bathtub and shower room. The restaurant had a nice breakfast buffet and a good selection for dinner. My husband enjoyed the wagyu burger while I had the lamb, both very good. The drinks from the bar were well balanced. Unfortunately we didn’t swim at the beach since we visited during the rain season and the waves were too high for our liking, but the beach was well kept with several places to sit and socialize. Nice touch with the animal hours where you get to meet their tortoise aged 85 and still going strong. We will come back and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The rooms are a little dated, though very characterful. The complex itself, and the gardens in particular, are superbly laid out and maintained. The private beach is quiet and lovely though sea swimming is only possible at high tide as low tide exposes the rocks.

Rooms and staff were very nice and a big shout out to Micki (I hope I’m spelling her name right) who works in the restaurant. Her and the lady in the coffee shop were both a delight and made me feel extremely welcome.

Such a lovely setting. Beautiful gardens with interesting things to look at and a fantastic swimming pool just next to Nakalay Cove. Simply a stunning property. The staff are friendly and attentive, and speak English well. There’s half price cocktails at the beach bar during happy hour. The restaurant menu has a larger than expected selection. Dishes well prepared and tasty. Two thumbs up!

Beautiful immaculate gardens with lots of small bunnies, and critters to see. Flower gardens and a gigantic resort pool surrounded by trees and orchids with a swim up bar. The friendliest and most helpful staff I've encountered in my travels. Private beach and gorgeous views. My only complaint is the beach is rocky and can really only swim at high tide. They should get some fill in sand pumped in. Rooms are big and spacious, I preferred the hillside with amazing views. I definitely want to go back. Food was ok, nice breakfast buffet.

Super friendly hotel staffs and they have free yummy snacks in their VIP room! The staffs constantly check up on you to ensure you have the best time. Overall, place was beautiful. Rooms were alright but I did not like the idea of the toilet and bathroom being separated.

Amazing beautiful traditional hotel. Staff are all helpful and always smiling which makes all the difference. Grounds are stunning and all is maintained very well gardens are breathtaking as the views.

When I was little my school cast "The King and I" as a school play. As a spectator I was taken away to a land far away. The beautiful costumes and fantastic make up made the story so exciting. The portraiture of the culture of Siam in that play may not be representative of the Thai people and their culture. However staying at this hotel brought back that magic I felt from my chair in the school auditorium many years ago. The gardens are beautiful and richly decorated with what I presume to be Thai legends. I was mesmerised by the Orchid garden with hundreds of Orchid types. The pool area, very child friendly and well laid out with regards to the bar, restaurant and the enchanting dessert house. My kids waited everyday for the petting zoo with colourful parrots, tortoises and bunnies they could play with or help feed. The room itself was charmingly furnished and very comfortable. But we spent little time in it because there was so much to see and do outside. The crowning jewel? The lovely staff! Friendly, always ready to help out. The only downside were the crowded breakfasts and the not so fresh juices or fruits. That said, I would like to come back and I recommend Thavorn warmly.

The resort as a whole is amazing. Set in a beautiful location. Fantastic views and superb pool. Breakfast a variety. You will enjoy the private beach although many rocks in between. Carry beach shoes. Free shuttle to Patong Beach. Although food and drinks are a bit expensive we enjoyed our stay there.

This is a secluded hotel with her own private beach and a old jetty. Very serene garden with lots of beautiful greens and fountains. Comes with a scrumptious breakfast too. Just outside within a 5-min drive, are streets of Thai food, western cuisine, massage houses and pubs besides a good wide stretch of beaches and berms.

This was the first hotel in the middle of April 2018, two adults and two children (3 to 12) All enjoyed the hotel with a huge green territory, lots of different trees (bananas, coconuts etc…). On the territory can easily work up to 5 km away. All Paths are paved, walk in the inside areas, we can observe the different insects from the bright caterpillars to beautiful butterflies, those present at the dances fun little iguanas and little geckos. In the treetops birds make sounds that you never heard, Oh Yes, there rides are a lot of squirrels here listen to them carefully it will not unexpectedly) ) ). An evening walk along the hotel's private beach is also one of the attractions of this hotel, the beach is large and not crowded, of course there is not a significant drawback to the beach, it ebbs and flows and when the water leaves the shore it looks like the surface of Mars) would not say it's not pretty, but the sound of the surf to me personally as a closer), at low tide I recommend to find the is not a rocky place for future swimming. Lived on the third floor (3214) with sea views! The room was large and comfortable with a large balcony-terrace with a Jacuzzi. Wifi in the hotel just super! Not to MOPE in the hotel the entire vacation, take only Breakfast and in the evening on the free bus go to the city to Patong, there are approximately from 17.00 to 19.00 you can eat (all you can eat always) ) ) ) I mean that after 18.

Really beautiful place with good service and lots of activities for guests to do. The design of the place was really done well. The beachfront where we stayed had a fantastic view to wake up to. The only problem was the air-conditioning unit in the room was noisy. The pool is huge with a river like design so it really felt as though we could explore the area with the pool. The breakfast had a huge variety of food and was tasty as well. The beach had quite coarse sand in front of the beach cottages and had rocks as well when it was low tide. However there was also an area that had soft sand which was better to walk on. Overall a satisfactory stay.

This resort gave us a dream holiday. We enjoyed the different places inside for meals, The breakfast is very varied, the kitchen is also local. The private beach guarantees a limited influx. Nice dinner pretty much on the Beach. The cottage was comfortable, the staff were often busy in maintenance and gardening. A prepaid system allows you to eat and drink without having to pay at every meal or consummation.

If you are looking for paradise, this is the right place!

Generally great resort. Great view from room with optional private Jacuzzi on balcony. Amazing pools and greens. Beach is Not sandy and absolutely Not for swimming. Will definitely need to protect yourself from mosquito's and be friendly with lizards.

Thavorn Beach Village is a perfect resort for a romantic holiday with its private beach, Spa, large beach cottages. It's located in west coast of Phuket, close to night life. Hotel staff were very friendly and high profile. We booked a romantic dinner at the beach, we could taste all my favorite sea foods, I loved it. Also we took a cooking class, we learned cooking 3 different Thai foods. Their chief is very talented. Thavorn resorts has "rabbit theme". You can find interesting rabbit sculptures all around the resort. Also you can feed rabbits in the morning.

Good in general that place to stay with children. The only downside is the disgusting beach for the sea. For me the greatest joy is a nice pool and courteous staff.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The beach has a coral bottom and can only swim in the tide. However you will get great pleasure if you swim with a mask. The underwater world is rich. If you like swimming, it is not bad.

Wonderful resort for staying in Patong beach and Malala beach Area… only 20minutes drive… the villa our family stay is spacious and clean. Only one thing need to improve is the ventilation of the toilet. Is good design to separate with bath and shower area. Is really good experienced to stay here.

The beach is one of the finest to stay on the entire island of Phuket. Looked next to a private beach, the beach is accessible only by the people who stay at the hotel. I recommend the beachfront cottage, you step out of the cottage you would be standing on the beach. The staff here is very friendly and humble. If Thai people are known for their humbleness, I would say stuff here is double humble. The restaurant choice, the food menu and the pool bar has a variety of food and drink. You could even have your night dinner on the beach. The one thing that would have made this an extraordinary place is their mini bar, which has just a few bottles of beer. You won't regret staying in this paradise just on the beach.

The hotel is certainly not 5 star, but 4 pulls. Rest here with my wife from February 9. The first day was not very pleasant situation, the house we booked, it is on the mountain, a Jacuzzi room, it was unavailable, as there was a repair. We were offered a room easier, we refused. In
Said do what you want, but either the same number or similar. Within the hour, we ran through the rooms, looking for any us, in the end we were offered a Suite on the ground floor with access to the pool. It is more expensive than ours, but as compensation for the inconvenience, did a free upgrade to this room. We of course were satisfied. The room is clean, housekeeping every day. Whether straight from the rooms to the pool. The pool is huge and beautiful, the largest in Phuket. To the sea 200-250 meters. The breakfasts are fabulous, buffet style. But to have lunch or dinner, you have to pay a huge amount, so buy food in town and eat in the room or go there and there at restaurants 2 times cheaper to eat. Well that 5 or 6 times a day there is a free Shuttle from the hotel to the city market and then back. On the market remember to haggle, I'm at least 30% reduced the price of any item, and an average of 2 times, sometimes 3 times cheaper to buy things from the original prices, so don't hesitate to bargain, especially when they don't agree to your price, you turn back to the exit, and they catch up with you and agree on a minimum price) ) ) so I had always.

Is slowly falling apart. That's too expensive!

Beach and Trada are private. Are not open to the public. Although in Thailand the beaches are all owned by the State (and therefore public) the local government has allowed some companies to build structures that prevent the public from accessing the beach. Only if you are a customer can you bathe and sunbathe on this beach. It would be a violation of the law, but the government and the police give more value to the money than to the rest.

Location Just super. The largest pool on the island. A lot of fish can be seen diving with a mask. Do not believe the hotel guides. In Patong excursions cost twice cheaper. The hotel is very good value for money.

Great 5-star luxury resort with many great features Thavorn Beach is such a nice retreat for any kind of guests. We stayed for 3 days 2 nights and really enjoyed most things offered at this resort. Hill top suite has a great ocean view and the unit is so big with 2 tubs; indoor and outdoor at a terrace! Garden is huge and even better with pets :) Swimming pool is so beautiful and very big. Things could be improved are breakfast and fitness. Breakfast options are kind of boring and taste so-so. Fitness is small but doable. All in all, we would return again for more! Nice gem near Patong!

Hotel all super just beach not so nice ebb and flow and very stony. Located just outside needs taxi there also shuttle but at unfavorable times.

Private beach-front treasure A beautiful resort with its own private beach. We loved relaxing on the beach and by the pool. Excellent service. Sak was particularly charming at breakfast each morning. Enchanting at night with fantastic lighting. Free coaches to Patong which is very touristy or you can take a taxi to Kamala which is quieter and only 5 minutes away.

Was November 17th. The hotel in General liked it. Room in the house (house 5 tier) spacious, clean, but somewhat worn. The Breakfast is yummy. The restaurant itself is a little expensive, like all other services in the hotel. On the beach the corals, so you need to be careful. The hotel requires payment upon check 3000 baht, which is returned at departure if nothing has happened. Overall liked the hotel.

A somewhat aging hotel, but with its location with its own beach and beautiful gardens.

Such a beautiful hotel, rooms are very nice and well maintained. The Staff are friendly and helpful. Check in time is at 3pm so plan accordingly as rooms are mostly occupied till like 12 and its takes almost an hour to clean for the next guest. Happened to me when I stayed there. Beautiful pool. Big enough.

Beautiful scerery, very clean rooms set in somewhat of a more traditional Thai styled resort. Staff 10 out of 10. Highly recommend pool access rooms. The food was good not the best but better than you'd expect from a hotel. A handy thing to know is you can deposit 5000 baht and get 600baht in spending money anywhere in the hotel. The more you deposit the more free money you will receive. Out of the hustle and bustle but with a private beach great day spa what more do you need. I hope this helps.

Beautiful Hotel by the sea, my choice of room was access pool and sea view. Not disappointed.

Our family holiday at this resort was spectacular due to the wonderful staff and facilities offered by Thavorn. A very special thank you to all the staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, right throughout our stay. All staff were more than willing to help us learn phrases in Thai, and were there to help with whatever we needed. The accommodation was beautiful and we had fantastic views. The cable car was a great experience and the pool was magnificent. We thoroughly enjoyed the food choices available at the resort.

A really nice hotel. The gardens are stunning and an oasis. The pool area is huge and lovingly designed. A separate Stranabschschitt (private bay). We had a bungalow right on the beach. Service, staff and breakfast buffet leave nothing to be desired and are very very good. Hotel is just 10 minutes from Patong centre. Had a scooter, therefore perfectly located for us. Taxi costs between 200-400 baht depending on the negotiating skills. Beds very good. Rooms very clean. Minister well stocked. Therefore, 5 out of 5 and absolutely recommended.

A beautiful resort, with private beach only for hotel guests. A fantastic pool and dreamily designed park-like terrain. At every turn you can discover something magical. Very happy again.

Room with direct access to the pool clean and spacious. Hot and huge pool. Restaurant good but a bit expensive. Breakfast OK Fantastic gardens. Very helpful staff. Only downside: Some customers who believe in their home. We suffered from Russian room neighbors who quickly found themselves at 20 in the room, loud music, howling, all drunk dead with bottles of vodka in the pool and no one from the hotel who told them nothing. We had to go complain so someone would ask them to stop. Otherwise stay at the top.

Nothing to say, great, only downside, lack of a small village nearby.

We stayed for three nights in this hotel and regretted having to leave. The gardens are beautiful, our room view sea very nice, the bedding a bit hard and the noisy clim. A flat on one of the pool that was under renovation and we had not been warned. The perfect restaurant and a wonderful dinner on the beach.

If you are looking for a nice quiet get away but want easy access to the madness and chaos of Patong then look no further. The hotel is lovely. You can choose if you'd like a room by the beach, or hill which has fantastic views of the bay or by the pool. The layout of the pool is lovely and gives the impression that its an unending one. The restaurants are pretty decent with some good food. Obviously we were in Thailand and we wanted to eat Thai. The Thai restaurant was pretty good. The Beef Massaman Curry prepared the Oosu Booku style was one of the best we had (if not the best). So its a definite try! The whole property is lovely. We stayed on the beach front villa since we had a 2 year old and going up to the rooms isn't easy with a pram. Our friends choose to stay on the hill side. They rooms there did smell musty. And the central air conditioning didn't help as it only circulated the musty smell in the rooms. The hotel has shuttle buses to main Patong area. Should you need to take a cab/tuktuk to Patong area it should be around 350 and to get back around 300. Overall a great experience. Every time we wanted some madness in our lives we headed to Patong area, and once we were done we came back to our nice quiet lodges. Just one watch out, there is nothing close by to the resort. So if you want to go anywhere you have to take the shuttle bus or a cab. You cannot risk walking as there road is a sort of a winding highway which isn't advisable to walk.

I was in this hotel as a replacement: I had booked to the Palm Beach Resort from the same chain, and for some mixup there was no availability. The Management offered me the highest tier of room available, which was nice, though I picked a beach front cottage. Now there were a few issues here: 1. Upon arrival the toilet was clearly clogged, meaning that no one had checked the room thoroughly before allowing us to check in: not the 5 stars service I would expect! Once the problem was solved, the staff cleaned the toilet, but didn't really do a good job and left dirt and mud on the front step of the room. 2. The bathroom is very good looking, but the roof is made of plastic. Yes, that undulated plastic material you use in your tools shacks… so, in a windy and/or rainy day, you hear constant strong noise for all the leaves, seeds, rain drops, debris falling on top of it. If you're a light sleeper, you'll have problems. 3. The aircon is terrible: it's directed towards the large window, and it hits your bed hard. Pretty hard. You cannot regulate the intensity, the Sleep function doesn't work, the Dry function doesn't as well. So as the aircon unit is massive, the room gets bloody cold in a split second forcing you to use a duvet (in Thailand! ), having problems sleeping because of the noise of the fan, and ultimately get a sore throat or a cold if you don't switch it off. Worst thing ever. 4. Forget swimming in the sea: it's full of rocks and corals.

Rainforest-like environment, oversized jungle pool, private beach, quiet, warm, perfect.

The service, location, food was amazing. We were always greeted with a smile. Its a relaxed atmosphere and nothing was ever an issue. Definitely recommend the beach front bungalows. Nothing better than waking up hearing the waves. The tour company on site was very well managed. From the day we got there till the day we left was hassle free. Would recommend your hotel is everyone. Thank you for an awesome experience.

Had a great time in Phuket found this hotel online and booked directly with them. Location a little far from all of the crazy in Patong area. But facility need to improve. Doesn't have enough staffs support all of the activities. Beach is private but too rough can not swim at all.

We stayed in the ocean view room with the Jacuzzi on the balcony. It was quite lovely. Easy walk or cable car to the private beach — towels and beach chairs. Food was really good, we ended up eating most meals there. They've spent a lot of time/money on the grounds — impeccable, felt like we were in a rainforest, so tranquil. There's bunnies and birds, a pony for kids to ride, it's really a great place. The only con was there are rocks on the ocean floor, but most places we saw had that too. The water was so warm we just wore water shoes and it was great. Highly recommend this place!

A fantastic island experience with jungle and towering trees surrounding the cliff side rooms. Beautiful orchids and manicured gardens, large spacious rooms and wide private verandahs, a secluded beach, breathtaking views and excellent food and hospitality let you relax and feel spoilt.

To start off thavorn has beautiful grounds with their private beach which wasn't ideal to swim in due to the weather. Clean room, very spacious although had a problem with mosquitos and bugs in our bath room and a slight drainage problem. When we arrived check in was fast and staff were friendly the entire trip our bags were delivered a short while later. The pool which was a big reason for booking was only half open during our stay which we weren't informed of before arriving. Our room was only cleaned once during our stay even though we were there for 5 nights. Air con is a little noisy but works well. We had a beach cottage which I wasn't expecting beach front but we're at the very back with no beach view whatsoever although only a short stroll to the water. Due to weather we had a lot of power issues which would last half an hour max, this cause hot water problems and rarely had any. Shuttle bus was convenient although only fits 22 people and even though we were the first to be denied on a couple who arrived later got on. When I told staff they did nothing. Pricey taxi to Patong Beach (400baht). Breakfast was good. A good choice and range even having halal options although found it difficult for vegetarian/vegan options apart from bread and fruit. Pricey lunch and dinner menu. All in all a beautiful resort just lacking some service issues.

We have been here end of May for our honeymoon vacation and it has been a blast. We booked a Honeymoon Suite with Pool Access and Jacuzzi and have been very satisfied. The hotel is very quiet adn nicely set up. There is a free shuttle bus several times a day to patong Beach where is the complete opposite of quiet, but we also enjoyed our times and daily massages (they were just 5 Euro / hour) there. The lady at the activities desk has also been very helpful to get some trips set up for us. Since the hotel is located very well on the west coast of Phulket everything is close enough. And arriving in a pimped Tuk-Tuk after a nights out in patong is fun too :-)

Peaceful resort with the largest lagoon pool in Phuket. We got the ocean view Jacuzzi room but were not able to see the ocean due to trees covering the ocean view. The room was nice with lots of space and soft bed (must be requested). Only downside is this type of room is looked on the hilltop and only access is a slow cable car ride to your room. But the resort is beautiful with natural garden and nice cultural statues located throughout the resort. Breakfast was really good. The beach is very peaceful but difficult to swim due to lots of rocks on the shore. Overall a great place to stay if you want quietness yet close by to the craziness of Patong!

Had a short 4days 3nights vacation and we stayed at ocean view jacuzzi room. The room is great, the tubs, the hot water and all, except for the balcony. The balcony is super dirty, the floor are stained with insects droppings, the sun bed outside was dirty as well. We didn't spend any time outside on the balcony because of that, which is a bummer cause we could have just gotten the cheaper alternatives rooms instead. Pros: Good pricing for hotel Good location if you want to be away from the crowd Warm shower water Great lagoon pools Cons: Far from Patong, would only recommend you to stay here if you know how to ride a bike, or its not your first time visit to Phuket. Hotel rooms with Balcony are dirty. The private beach are not for swimming, there are too many rocks and dead corals in it. The hotel Spa & Food are too expensive.

Beautiful hotel, amazing garden, private beach, lovely bunny. You can't swim in the sea at low tide because there is a rock, but there is a big swimming pool. The food is excellent!

I can the Hotel in any case recommend. Very friendly staff and accommodating. Lovingly landscaped grounds, and a mega large Pool. Breakfast is great and everything is what is on offer. One small 'criticism': a Cappuccino or Latte macchiato are not included in the price. That is a shame. Everything else is a vacation as you imagine and desire.

We stayed at the Resort on the 5/5/15 till the 14/5/15. It was a long awaited holiday that my partner and I had been looking forward. Kim checked us in and took us to our room it went very smooth and we were very impressed. Our room was very nice right on the beach front and close to the pool it was in a great location. The gardens and the pool were fantastic the Hotel staff were always polite and happy to see you. Especially Thong Promwong and the staff at the Crocodile Pool Bar who would go out of there way to make our day special thank you all for it made our day and our stay most memorable. My partner did the cooking class they offer at the Resort in the Siam Restaurant the Chef I did the class with and Poh (I hope I spelt your name right) who did the interpreting of the cooking class were excellent I really enjoyed myself it was like cooking at home with all the family around learning something new to cook again thank you for the great day. I unfortunately got very sick and rang the reception ask for a doctor after taking my room number I waited a further 2 hours before I was told I would have to make my own arrange to get to a doctor. I was by this time in a real emergency and needed help fast. I was having trouble communicating at the best of times now we had to get a taxi to take us to the Hospital.

A sitiazo where you spend a good relaxing holiday! Highly recommended.

Great hotel, liked it very much!

From hotel was really good view. The orchid garden was really beautiful. But on the beach wasn't so cool: stones on the bottom, lack of the good beach umbrellas. Canteen without an air condition. Two times air conditioner has malfunctioned in my room. It was fixed quickly, but sleeping in Thailand for russian man without air conditioner extremely difficult. Also they are refurbishing bungalos on the front sea line, good, but noisily :)

If you Really need to have a sea view — it will require. Types begin with the 4th floor. The rise on the floors of the funicular — once again you will not go. The room was great, two.
