It’s such a great moment to stay and rest here. There’re several activities to do with family’s members. Good accommodations, good breakfast and clean place. I’ll be back.

I went to have lunch but not stay. I saw from outside, it was nice design.

Located at the edge of a beautiful beach with small local restaurants very good. Hotel staff very welcoming and polite. The manager Stevens is very caring for its customers. Good relaxing stay.

Horrible place who using protected animals to entertain their guests. Boycott!

Would never visit a place that exploits baby elephants, make them party fun at the pool. Elephants are no entertainers. Very sad.

A really lovely hotel, we stayed in a 2 bedroom pool villa and it was beautiful, so much space!
easily the most comfortable bed and pillows we have ever had and a the decor / furnishings throughout were comfortable and warm.
the private pool is more than what we expected, it was the same size as our pool at home!
the main pool is an excellent size with lovely cocktails.
breakfast was ame and fresh.
a special mention to Sine who went out of her way to assist us with retrieving our pram that was taken by another passenger, she made that extra effort and we really appreciated it.
Tip — early September is really quiet as this area seems to attract a lot if Europeans, so travel in September for a very quiet holiday!

Nice resort, nice room. My kids enjoy the pool, the beach is not really good right in front of resort, we have to walk a little further.

My first time at Movenpick Bangtao Phuket, really amazing property and the staff is amazing at their service and going beyond to assist and help. My hubby and me thoroughly enjoyed the Spa experience, talented masseuse Khun Nim and A were amazing. The Food and cocktails are all outstanding and not a single dish you can complain about. Plus I rented a couple of cars few times in the Orange Car Phuket. Very easy going helpful staff, good prices, and good condition vehicles. Will be back again.

Family heaven
We have been here already six times and Movenpick Bangtao never disappoints. This time we booked a 3 bedroom apartment as my parents also joined us. It was great as the kids could enjoy the pool facilities and kids club with their grandparents as my husband and I could take advantage of their spa. Nim and A are both gems. One week has passed and we have one week left in paradise. Also rented a Toyota Aygo for a duration of four days in the Orange Car Phuket. Orange Car Phuket — was amazing. We booked our stay already for next year, thank you Movenpick Bangtao for being great hosts. We feel like home here.

It would be useful to have some pool equipments like the noodles or kick boards for kids to play with. I would also like to see more Thai food options in the breakfast offerings. We ordered some Thai food as room service, the food was very ordinary. We’d expect better Thai food being in Thailand. Other than that, excellent service and friendly staff!

Everyone we met at the hotel was very welcoming and warm The Coffee Shop breakfast & dinner was very good. The bartender was excellent & FB Manager very friendly The pool bar closing at 6 pm is too early & there is no effort to entice people there. The Spa girls were excellent The room was fine but we would have preferred a view We were extremely disappointed that there was only 1 place to eat (a coffee shop, not a restaurant) and strongly recommend that the owners build a restaurant as at the moment most people go to eat outside the hotel (at Tony's which is much better value).

We loved the hotel, great location and on the beach. Staff were very helpful with requests. Penthouse was very spacious and the beds very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. We found the breakfast selection a bit limited and unhealthy options. My only suggestion would be to add some healthier breakfast alternatives.

As a frequent traveler, I evaluate hotels based on service. The level of service I have experienced with my family is phenomenal. From arrival till the last day of our vacation, we found very nice people always willing to help and always smiling. Room was very clean with special gift for my anniversary as well as free upgrade to two bedroom instead of one bedroom. Pool, sea view, atmosphere and people made it remarkable holiday. Every thing had exceeded our expectations. I strongly recommend one-bedroom Pool room (beach-front Unit) for family. Special thanks to the crew and particularly Gratsiela for their exceptional customer service and support. Love you Phuket people!

The resort is small in size, but can be a good family and kids destination. The 2 bedroom pool suite I have selected was good and spacious, the kitchen was excellent. The room privacy was good but the pool was not if the above neighbouring rooms are occupied which means they can view the swimming pool, not a big deal for me but could be an issue for others. The staff were overall good and very helpful. The only thing we didn't like was the cleanliness of the rooms and some public areas in the resorts. The rooms were not cleaned properly and the bed sheets were not always clean. One of the bath rooms was full of flying insect that we had to keep closed most of the time. Another incident I had on the pool bar, I was having a drink and lunch with my kids, and we left over lemon slices peels on the bar, I came the second day to the pool and they were still there, I had to tell them about it. In addition to other incidents, I think the common areas especially the pool area and surroundings should be always cleaned well. Overall, we had a good time at Movenpick Resort Bangtao and we enjoyed it and way may visit you again.

I had the most relaxing time at your resort. Residence1 is very well-appointed and so spacious. A CD playing cool lounge music greeted me upon arrival at the room & automatically set my holiday mood into gear. I'm very happy with Room 3203 as it is at the corner end where I get a good view of the lagoon and a partial view of the sea, from the bedroom window. The kitchenette and minibar are equipped with everything I need (except a bottle opener) ; and it's good to know that the hotel shuttles 2 trips/day to town should you need something from the supermarket. I like that there is a Residence Chef who you can schedule a class to teach you to cook Thai dishes, at your room. The only shortfall is not getting hot water for the bathtub. Your lovely staff are ever so helpful and always with a smile. With a quiet the beach right across the road, it is definitely a place to wind down and enjoy a quiet, relaxing time.

Upon check in, I was told that I must have the credit card used for booking. I tried to explain that I only use this credit card for online usage and I do not have it, but the reception told me that I have to predent another card which she will use to charge the stay “again” and then process a refund on the other card, very inadequate. The room was with a private pool. There was nothing private about it, while in the pool I found a person waking around the garden “inside the room vicinity”, later to be told that it is “ok” as he is the gardener! And if I wanted more privacy I should have opted to another type of room, ofcourse more expensive. The breakfast buffet lacks variety and bakery was not fresh. The shower hot faucet came out of place in the first use. I had to wait for 15 minutes during check out for my bags to be delivered to reception, as it was mis placed. The beach is a public beach, where you have to exit the hotel and cross a small road, unlike the picture of the resort which falsely shows the beach attached to the hotel. So bad for a Movenpick brand.

A fantastic getaway, perfectly suitable for families with children. The resort is relatively small, accommodation is more than brilliant and the restaurant in there serves exquisite Thai cuisine. Is located right by the beach.

PROS Excellent resort, well maintained. I love the sea and if the beach is fantastic the 24H open pool is fabulous! Excellent breakfast for all tastes, even for lovers of desserts. The restaurant offers excellent dishes for all tastes, with a touch of originality. The rooms are very large and comfortable. The staff is exquisite, and thanks to Laurant everything runs smoothly, like oil! CONS The beautiful beach is only 10 meters away, is public and not too much crowded, unfortunately it is not covered by the excellent service offered by the resort.  I would have liked enjoy a cocktail in front of the fantastic show offered by sunsets.

Very dignified! Rooms are above all praise, 5 + cleaning, room lighting system with trimmers, Bose music for mood. But… Very calm and family. Not for Aces. Staff "licks")

I loved the look of the beautiful resort and the amazing penthouse suite we booked for our last night and amazing the pool was 24 hours but then went to dinner waited 45 minutes for my drink and food the food was wonderful but service was terrible the went to my room and my aircon made my room like a sauna had to wait 45 minutes for maintenance man to fix it trying to rest to wake at 4am for my flight and he’s banging and clunking so frustrating no compensation! paid $860 for penthouse suite the service was appalling was goin to return with my kids but now I will not return I am absolutely horrified at the service for a 5* Resort.

Hotel facilities Nice, suites very nice, only one restaurant too small for this facility and offer besides breakfast which is very good not tufriedenstellend. Service in the restaurant insufficient… Staff hardly understands English… and leaves a long wait and forgets and also exchanges orders.

Was a great stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially with making reservations and booking outings. Room was large and good for a family of 5 (2 bedrooms with king beds and 1 person sleeping on couch in main room). Restaurant, pool, fitness center and spa were all very good. Breakfast buffet was great food with wide range of items available. Enjoyed the Thai Boxing lesson from Woody. Only one small complaint — there was a little mold in our shower that had not been cleaned. Would definitely recommend the hotel to those looking for a quieter, family friendly place.

Once upon a time at Mövenpick Resort Bangtao Beach Phuket we found a little paradise lost in the Andamam Sea. We were seduced by the magical colors of the lagoon, charmed by the beauty of the sunset and conquered by the softness of the sand on the beach. The whole team of Mövenpick Resort Bangtao Beach Phuket made our stay on the island unforgettable and we left the resort with full of good memories and we surely will come back so that the beauty of the this excellent Mövenpick Resort could touch as once again. It was really amazing experience!

Lovely place! While this is the best in Phuket that I saw! I used to think that Tae with no service and it should be taken as a given, but it was not the right service there) )

Excellent resort at 20 Meters from the beach of Bang Tao beach, the staff, and the staff are always smiling and helpful, excellent cuisine both Thai and international. A good place to relax. Everything. Highly recommended to everyone, singles, couples and families.

The hotel is gorgeous! The small minus is the road in front of the hotel, between the sea and the hotel. Everything else is super! When there were small eateries on the coast, it was strange to go out of the posh hotel on the market… Around diesel generators work, noise and smoked. Now it is another matter… Recommend!

We had a family vacation: three adults and two small children. We arrived very early. Friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately it was not possible to check us in before the due time as the room was not ready yet, however we went to the meeting and let in one of the room rooms so that the children could sleep on a quiet hour. Our impressions of Movenpick are the most wonderful! This is a lovely cozy family hotel, helpful staff. The room is large with a good kitchen, where there is everything you need and even more! Everything is incredibly comfortable, from the amazing pillows to the toilets. Good breakfast. Children always had something to eat! The sea is fabulous! The beach is free, uncrowded. A little confusing plankton, which bites apparently at this time of year, although it is not particularly strained. Towels are always available, without any cards.
This hotel is run by lovely friendly people! Thank you very much for the special mood! We loved this place and would return if possible again! Thank you Movenpick!

Beach is located on very nice beach.
There is also a Prima beach restaurant where you can put your feet in the sand and in doing so we serve and eat fine. That's the Tony restaurant right next to.

The hotel is gorgeous! The hotel is in a great location. Everything else is super! When there were small eateries on the coast it was strange to go out of a posh hotel on the market around the diesel work. Now it is another matter… Thank you administration.

Be careful! A large number of wild dogs. Cases of attack are frequent. The aromas of sewer plums create a known atmosphere of happiness and peace.

Great location, nice apartment and best beach. Highly recommended.

Excellent to stay in movenpick resort. All the staff are very kind and helpful specially the 2 pilipino staff in a restaurant name are Ms Jrem and Ms Ira keep up the good work both of you and God bless.

This place is definitely not worth the money. No sunbeds on the beach. Staff hardly speaks english. When they serve the food there is no cutlery and no napkins on the table. White wine was served far too warm every evening. The staff is trying hard and is actually very friendly. There is only one restaurant available at this place with a limited choice of food. When you come for breakfast the buffet really looks disgusting. The hotel is located in the middle of f**** nowhere with limited transportation and infrastructure. This is definitely not a Mövenpick standard hotel.

Excellent Hotel, staff are very helpful and the service is wonderful. The food is exemplary.

Initially thought that this is a perfect place for honeymooners, but less so to the lone businessman on a short trip from Bangkok. But proved to be just what I dreamt about — almost vacant white sand beach, with beacg Thai massage and restaurant, quiet and not too far from the main action. Bike rental (free) is also recomended, a tranquil ride along the laguna to the nearby village.

Large and modern rooms, extremely friendly staff, good breakfast variety, awesome local dishes, large swimming pool (note: only a small part around the pool bar is suitable for small kids, the rest of the pool is 1.4 meter deep), beach access (one minus: no beach chairs or umbrellas available), good kids club with lots of activities. Well equipped gym. Our family enjoyed their stay a lot!

I had an awesome stay at this hotel. All staff are friendly, an the rooms are nice an big, an the view of the room was fantastic, a lovely sea view from the rooms. The restaurant was nice as well, one of the best stays!

Tooooo good. From the staff to the property. All set well and very courteous. Swimming pool fun is very nice.

A great resort in the world … spaceios villa and great staff and excellent service and night restaurant is great … very safe for children and they have a great play room with especial staff … a wonderful time with family you can enjoy it here.

Good beach, faint, good view, nice and relaxing …

The location is very good. It's a six-man room with a huge 400 square. The hotel is very small. The breakfast was excellent. The beach was very good.

Good beach and swimming pool. 5min away from shopping and dining place that shops are managing tuktuk sent you free ride upon request.

Wonderful family hotel (admittedly old). Huge rooms, very clean, the food is tasty, friendly staff. We all loved it!

Been here about 10 times… Everything about this hotel is amazing.

Always properly belonged to this group of hotels, but they don't like something, not mine. Relax in this hotel probably won't.

Very good, the room is huge, clean, new. Beach nearby. Suitable for quiet secluded relaxation. To an active life in Pompeii.
