Phi Phi Hill Bamboo Bungalow Hotel

Cheap, and Gives that feeling. The hut is ok, but the bathroom is very old and outdated. Worth only if on budget. Very high on the hill so hard with backpacks.

It is located in an ugly area of the island, besides the ascent is until the hotel is tiring. Upon arrival we were given a room with a fan, when the room had air conditioning. Supposedly had to pay for the air. Ugly Luga, half abandoned. I don't recommend it to go as a couple.

Nope. Not even worth saving a few dollars to stay here. Just don't do it. The walk up the hill to it is kind of a pain. I didn't think it would be that bad but no… it's kind of crappy. The rooms are not comfortable. The mosquitoes are Absolutely terrible in the place. I got eaten alive. The net had a hole in it so did nothing to keep them out. We had paid for one full bed and ended up with two singles when we got there due to over booking or something. They didn't offer any incentive as an apology for their mistake. My friend had to reason with them and explain how good customer service works in the hospitality industry. Just don't stay here. The people working there are nice, but don't stay there. It needs an overhaul.

Okey place, quite a walk IF you are a plus size. There's a store nearby and 10 min walk downhill to the shops and bars.

Our stay at Jungle Hill Bungalow was great. This location on the island is not ideal because the loud music is pointed out from the main beach in this direction. However, the walls have decent sound insulation so it was not a big issue. On the bright side, the location is close to the viewpoint hike which is something you must do while on Koh Phi Phi.

Good relationship quality price and comfort.

Inaccesible for anyone with large pieces of luggage, or bad fitness. Situated at the top of a very steep hill, quite some distance away from the main area of phi phi island. Would advise to reconsider choosing this place unless it's peace and quiet you want, with a hill climb thrown in for good measure.

If you like to sleep once in a jungle hill bamboo-style house, go there, but expect, fresh water problems, toilette and other problems. ;)

It's probably the cheapest private room on phi phi island. There are many Mosquitos but, the receptionist is extremely helpful and made the stay so much better. She spoke very good English and gave us good prices on trips around the phi phi islands. We even manage to see glowing plankton! The room we got was basic, a bed with mosquito net that has many holes in it but that is the way of the islands. The bathroom did have two cockroaches which scared me to death but there's hot water and TWO fans for the fan rooms :)

Not expensive and wonderful view! Less: cold water and too much mosquitos.

Basically same rates as the mainland for a sweet bungalow.

Bamboo bungalows look cute, but the sheets were dirty and we had bedbugs as well. The mattress was very uncomfortable! No hot shower. The price is cheap though, especially for Koh Phi Phi.

Very steep hill to climb up and down when you leave your bamboo Hut, nothing much to do there, not for the elderly or children, sore legs for days walking down to beach and restaurants /pubs.

+ Welcome very friendly by a French couple. Good advice and a smile. You will lead on the good plan of this beautiful island. Free coffee and tea available day. Bungalow spacious with small terrace. Small climb to reach this hotel, which is on the edge of the jungle, but provides a very nice framework. A carrier awaits you at the port to arrival in order that the luggage will be taken care of until the hotel. — Provide 500 baht for the deposit. And don't forget your shower products.

+ removed from the street and not hear music. + tea and coffee facilities, Wi-Fi for guests free of charge. + complex is similar to the cottage or camp. There was no hot water. Even no hot water. — poor soundproofing between rooms.

I was very happy with my stay here. The front desk was very friendly. The air conditioner was amazing and it had a nice, spacious bathroom. Down side to this place was it was the last resort on a large Hill and since it was in the jungle, there were a lot of bugs. Very clean inside though.

Spartan Bungalows made of bamboo, exactly how I imagined it. The atmosphere is, however, disturbed by the loud music from the beach clubs until well after 0 o'clock. It then reminds more of a Festival. However, anyone who has a fear of mosquitoes and a cold shower should prefer to seek other accommodation.

No Internet. The place is ugly. I don't recommend it at all.

This place does not even deserve 1 star. Dirty and the smell of mould. Stuffy nose after one night sleep. Ants in the bed and spider webbs all over. Not to mention the steep hill you need to walk to get to this place. No shops near. The noise is horrible which you hear clearly from all the parties down at the beach!
