Gorgeous hotel with spacious rooms, very friendly helpful staff, two pools, located right on the ocean and excellent breakfast buffet. I had the opportunity to watch a gorgeous sunset on the ocean while here. Very relaxing. I highly recommend staying here when in Khao Lak.

KhaoLak Sunset resort Medium size Hotel facing ocean view on west coast of India ocean. Ideally for watching sunset. The room is adequate for space and good enough view from balcony. Big bed but wasn’t comfortable as to my standard however, air conditioning worked perfectly which helped a lot during hot summer nights.

Are Enteuscht. No breakfast package on the excursion. Disappeared from the vault and the staff will still blame you.

A short way to the beach, decent Pool, clean modern rooms. Breakfast buffet with good selection.

Clean large rooms with fairly good furnishings. Breakfast could be a bit more varied, Thai standard.

In February 2018 I spent a two week holiday with my girlfriend at Sunset Resort Khao Lak.
After the holiday I enjoyed the fun and once read the Rezesionen to the above mentioned hotel. After a short time I was horrified at how petty the people are. This is a 3 star hotel, and in my opinion it is more than fair. Most people think, however, just because they fly to Thailand they get delivered 5-star.
Now to my experience: — staff was very accommodating and nice — the room was cleaned every day tip top — Breakfast was OK — the grounds were very tidy and clean — the beach proximity is awesome — since late checkout was not available, we were allowed on the day of departure (19 Clock) After the last visit to the beach in another room showering and making us ready-air conditioning and fridge were not noisy in my mind — the W-Lan worked wonderfully for one evening and even this error was immediately corrected the next morning, Both in the room and on the beach — the pool was freed every morning from the sand — the problem with lying reservation is known by the German holidaymaker, but the hotel can do nothing, annoyed me that already a little on the whole, we have a nice holiday in Sunset Resort Khao Lak. I personally would call this hotel a good 3 star hotel.

The beach is a d the prettiest of the place and the service was very good!

Awful greeting by the strangest, unfriendliest, watchman at the gate. Didn’t even let us in to reach the reception when we rolled in on bicycles. We wanted to have a look to see if an old excellent employee was still working there, but now we have no idea and will of course never visit that hotel again even though we previously stayed there 5 or 6 times. Once pre-tsunami. Management must have gone totally downhill and I hope the clever old employee has left for better hospitality opportunities.

Lovely hotel something highly located what at 40 grad somewhat exhausting is staff top friendly prices somewhat expensive (drinks and food) Unfortunately the last days some boring here because that close to the 30 04.2016 purpose conversion 5 stars.

Just itching to get back here, it was a perfect dream start to a wild adventure… loved it.

Very recommendable pizza and pasta as an alternative to thai food every day! Also the staff is really nice and attentive.
