Nice and quiet place to stay even there are family friendly hotel as seen from kid club or pool. There are 4 pools where our party can choose. We love Taonga surf club and it’s highlight of our trip too.

Very good room around the hotel. The sea view was beautiful, very impressive, the staff were all very welcoming and the service was very good, smiley, very chatty.

Very nice friendly Hotel. Food is great and varied. Rooms are large and very clean. The beach and Pool beautiful Have taken very good impressions home with you. I would recommend it very much more and the sun is clear TV a lot of effort. The trips beautifully and the tour guides are very funny and friendly.

Wonderful service, friendly staff. Most beautiful pool and resort to stay at, really relaxed and family feel. Resort is well looked after the rooms are spacious. The reception staff are very helpful and entertainment staff are awsome with the kids and giving us information about Khao Lak and food is tastety.

The house is well located, but the staff usually do not understand English, service leaves nothing to be desired. Food is very limited at breakfast and dinner. Does not match 4 — Star — grouping, maximum 3 for a good will. I've just been there with my wife and we've had a lot to complain about. In addition, during thunderstorms the electricity is long and this should not happen at a house that wants to be good.
When eating, it is particularly to be criticized that rice is available every day in the evening and is not paid to Western guests, but to Japanese or Koreans. Potato for breakfast are not suitable and also do not have salads with noodles and shrimp for breakfast. The hotel is very difficult to reach 3 stars in Europe, especially the rooms do not correspond to the beautiful statements in the brochure, which also show other rooms due to the unaccustomed parts. Moreover, mosquito nets are only found in rooms that are at water borders, otherwise nowhere and are not available on request.

Really superb, ideal with children, very nice staff, sea really very close, the activities are excellent and varied, close to all trade, taxis close to the hotel cheap at all and very friendly, shops, change, massage, bar Jojo (real espresso) in front of the hotel, frankly spent a wonderful holiday I highly recommend to people who have children.

This establishment is not a four star, it deserves a star, the staff do not understand English or very little.

Hotel directly on the beach. Sea clear and without floating plastic bags. Breakfast is below average. Everything else is OK. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in front of the hotel and currency exchange facilities. More than €100 the room is not worth it.

The hotel is good for staying with children, I would say paradise for children, quiet and clean beach, clean sea (without jellyfish and plankton). The room was clean. The hotel grounds are large and well maintained, lots of greenery. Breakfast is OK-there is a choice of both national, European and vegetarian food:). Overall we liked it.

Good hotel. Completely redone after the tsunami of 2004. However the rooms are poorly soundproof. Also, access to the rooms with suitcases is catastrophic, between the stairs and the Pebble paths. Otherwise the hotel is ideally located by the ocean.

The area is groomed, all in greenery many entertainments with Animoromi. And most importantly the sea is a hundred meters from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful beach, nice hotel, great breakfast, nice garden, cute little men that you like the deckchair when you stand up.

The place is quite remote from Dvizhnjaka but quiet and cozy. Want a life you can break into a taxi in Khaolak. To the sea, sand, sun no complaints.

We spend a family holiday at the Emerald Khao Lak. Very nice hotel The beach is big and beautiful. Small Shops at the exit: restaurants, bars, small shops massages. Beautiful gardens and well maintained. Family hotel for the enjoyment of any family. The pool dominates the beach. Aquaparc, adult and child Bike The Mini club is top. I would recommend a small cocktail at the beach bar to enjoy the sunsets. I also like the swings hanging on the trees of the beach. The family room is very comfortable spacious and tasteful. We can do kayaking at no extra cost. A Dream vacation! I'll be back.

I/We as a group are the first time in Thailand and I can also understand that you as a European must make a few smears in Southeast Asia. Nevertheless, I had stayed in many hotels worldwide and were all cleaner than the Emerald Beach in Khao Lak. In some cases it is a cheeky thing to understand when cleaning the room (there is no help in the tip which is pushed directly into the hand when leaving the room of the cleaning force). Only today, instead of toilet paper, we simply put a few pulp towels next to the toilet. Continue to the outdoor complex…
Except for the Poolbererich, where the tiles are missing outside and you could grow mushrooms in the joints, this is actually quite okay! The direct beach location also makes some good again. I can't say much about the prices because I have no comparison to other accommodations or travel areas within Thailand. Still quite expensive for my feeling. The food (we had HP) is in and of itself not so wrong. Who thinks to get "Thai food", however, is wrong, thanks to the weekly same theme evenings always quite European-inspired. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bottom line was that the 14 days stay at Emerald Beach was definitely to be maintained although the cleanliness of the rooms left a lot to be desired.

For the total recovery too noisy many families with children. Staff very friendly and helpful.

There are ashtrays everywhere and there is no non-smoking area. Therefore the food was not to be enjoyed.

Nice place for sunset time, but the service are not 4 star hotel. Very poor organisation. For the price is valuable.

Great place to stay with kids. 2 swimming pools, children's animation. The rooms are large, clean. The staff is polite and courteous. The sea is warm but heavy waves and as minus "bite" jellyfish.

Very nice, wide, clean beach. The water is sloping. There is nothing around except a few cafes.

Just fantastic. Close to bike rentals, local street food, marvelous beach, and the snoothie selection is like none other. Best value for money. 2 swimming pools, fitness centre and friendly staff.

There's a slippery floor in the hull. The baby fell two times. Yes, and I twisted my leg.

The location is great.

Stay away! Rats is the room, no A/C for hours, fraudulent management! I have booked the beach front villa for 5 nights. On our first morning the phone rang in 6:50 am (alarm that was set for the previous guest…). First two days there were a couple of electric failures that resulted in the A/C not working for 7 hours a day (not pleasant when its 35° outside…). Third day we discovered a rat in the room and finally demanded to move. We were "upgraded" to a room worth 2000 TBH less. The management refused to return our any of our money and their only compensation for the above occurences was a lame fruit plate, worth maybe 20TBH.

The room was very nice and clean.

The place looks nice but the service is terrible. For example they have a policy of 1 blanket for person and you can't get another one. The food is less than OK. I will not recommend this place to my friends.

Stop at this hotel for the second time. Good location. The drawbacks are that the Wi-Fi connection is not very convenient and must be permanently reconnected.

The Hotel is easily located but well on the beach. For children there is a Playground and a children's pool. The food was partly getting used to. Overall, however, acceptable price-performance ratio. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. We had a Bungalow directly on the beach. To recommend with little extra cost. Emerald is remote. After Khao Lak is around 5 km. There is a free Shuttle departs daily. From the Hotel.

I found the Hotel and the people very well.

We were in the Oct. 2015 there and loved it. Eat it simple. But we have every day found anything suitable. We've had worse Bufetts. The facility is very well maintained. The beach is very nice. The staff was nice. Our room always saumer. We will come back again.

I spent 2 weeks in September here and it was a perfect holiday for me, nice staff, clean rooms an a beautiful location. I loved to be treated as a welcome hotel guest and enjoyed my time in Khao Lak, will always return to this nice hotel!

Unfortunately, were not satisfied Food is always the same, cold, very dirty buffet Restaurant Drinks too expensive NOT TO RECOMMEND.

Hotel with a lagoon inside. At the beachfront is an additional restaurant. The food inside the standard restaurant was not great.
