Nice hotel complex, the rooms are okay and practical but not special, the interior designer was not very creative. The staff is friendly and helpful at all times. The system looks a bit old, despite being built in 2011. The Wi-Fi is a disaster, poor reception and outages. Unusable. Amusing are the many rules that the management gives in a letter on arrival. I would have liked a warm welcome letter rather than reading a set of rules.

All hotel staffs have service mind and very good taking care the customers.

Best resort! We have been here twice, first time in 2014 and again in 2018. Staff are amazing and the resort is the best. We have made great friends and remembered how to relax and step back again.

If you want to relax and just lounge by the pool this is the place to be. The staff are nothing but kind and happy to help you in anyway they can. Special mention to Alma who is always smiling from breakfast until last drinks and always willing to have a chat and get your next round for you. Another special mention to Robert the General Manager who was very accommodating in helping us make our stay comfortable and memorable. The rooms are clean, spacious and well kept. (Tip for anyone who likes a soft mattress just request a topper or two as the beds are quite firm. ) Would definitely return to Beyond again in the future. Love the adult only environment without screaming children.

We are really happy with most things. Check in was swift, rooms very clean and well maintained but find the room lights a bit dim and no disposal toothbrush or shaver. Staff were generally very friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcomed. We had the wine dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday and were surprised with a small birthday cake for him. They make an attempt to change a few items in the daily breakfast buffet too. Will recommend this resort.

Beyond Resort is very well maintained and there are many different things to see all around which is great. Staff are incredibly helpful where they can be and they restaurants offer a great selection. The only downsides are a lack of picturesque features and layout of the overall resort, and the prices of their cocktails are a little more than expected. The rooms are always immaculately presented, and wholly the beds may be a bit too firm, the comfort you feel within your own little spot is something worth noting as it is a great cherry on top of a really nice holiday destination.

Very good value, for what you pay you would be hard pressed to find better. Pools are gorgeous, and the staff friendly and hard working. There are niggles — for example the premium villas are advertised as having a private terrace with daybed — but when you arrive, you realise that one daybed is not much use when there are two of you. The resort is a little run down and has a few strange idiosyncracies — for example the beautiful Siam restaurant which has huge air conditioning units but never turns them on, or the beautiful fleet of buggies which cannot be used for a lift to the resort entrance. However, overall it is a wonderful place to truly relax, and when the sun is shining it is a very beautiful location. Just two final points: 1. You'd better like Australians. The whole resort is almost exclusively booked by Aussies on luxury escapes at the moment and apparently has been for the last couple of years. It felt just like home! 2. The breakfast has a weird system which as far as I could tell was unpopular with all concerned. Those staying in elite villas sit in a different area of the restaurant, and have the ability to order a glass of (very average) sparkling wine with breakfast. They also have access to a small selection of extra food. This is the weird bit — the extra food is almost exclusively the same as the main food buffet. In fact it has less variety in both fruit and cheese, so you end up walking from one buffet to the other constantly.

Beautiful resort. This resort was our first time in Thailand and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. From the moment we arrived at the airport the transport was waiting for us with cold water and a cold towelette, given the heat it was most welcome. Our arrival at the resort and check in was very smooth with a welcome fruit drink and a golf cart ride to our villa for us and our luggage. The next morning we went to breakfast and found it to be absolutely perfect. Everything you could possibly think of for breakfast was available even salads and curries! The resort itself was beautifully setup with fish ponds and fountains, an array of different plants, flowers and greenery. The pool was lovely and the only complaint was the water was too warm! The staff wer all friendly and helpful. We did two tours from the resort and found them to be most enjoyable. The highlight was the elephant camp. The biggest bonus though was the fact that this was an adults only resort. The restaurants in the resort were OK but we only ate breakfast there and ate dinner at a small restaurant next door, Pason, which served great food at reasonable prices including a happy hour with 100bht cocktails. Would definitely recommend this resort for a great relaxing holiday and would love to go back!

Wonderful place — close to paradise! We were so well looked after here and made to feel so special. Loved every moment. Beautiful location, comfortable room, great food and drinks, amazing massages. Lovely, relaxing holiday. Will be back!

Staff english is very poor, rooms are not to standard. Bath tubs are outside! Toilet block after each use. Rooms are infested with insects. Not recommended to stay here.

Best Hotel in Khao Lak, no children big room, awesome pool and beautiful beach. The breakfast was yummy.

Hammer Hotel, totally nicely equipped and furnished. Very accommodating staff! But I would still have liked more entertainment.

Stayed in the Premier Villa here in the Beyond Resort Khao Lak. A very nice hotel with mostly Villas and the accommodation is superb with great manicured grounds surrounding the property. Enjoyed the stay here very much and the staff at the front desk was fabulous. Most of the Villas provide a daily refill of the mini bar including local beer. Simply Love the villas and the nature surrounding the resort. Walking distance to the beach and a very nice pool with a restaurant. Enjoy your evening cocktails at the beach as you watch the sunset.

We were 2017 and 2018 each for two weeks at the Beyond resort Khaolak. For 2019 have not booked yet, but we plan to come back.
nice, spacious and well maintained bungalows. Generally a very quiet and beautiful resort with a nice poll Area. The sandy beach is particularly beautiful and inviting. There are enough (high-quality) couches, both at the pool and on the sandy Beach. The Couches are equipped with a soft pad and a Parasol. Bath towels can be exchanged at any time (also on the Beach) by freshness. The staff is very friendly.

A great hotel with a beautiful garden, located on a dream harbour long Sandy Beach. Our premier Villa was top decorated, very large and the king size bed very comfortable. Also the daily cleaning was Perfect. The staff were all very friendly. The choice of the breakfast buffet was absolutely sufficient and for every taste what was Available. As we had only booked breakfast we could not rate the Food.
Recommended for peace seekers because there are no animations at all and the Kilometre-long beach is almost alone.

Wonderful hotel in a gorgeous setting. Rooms are all large and luxurious. Staff are helpful and friendly. Adults only and away from the centre so is quiet.

Although it was nice, I think there is better value at other resorts in Khao Lak. Service was good and staff were pleasant to deal with. Pool bar was also quite good. The pools were nice and despite the hotel booked to capacity, not too busy. The pool villa was comfortable, spacious, and very private. TV could be a bit bigger. Pool villas (other than a few on the beach) are a far walk from the rest of the facilities. Typical breakfast. Nothing special.

The room was very comfortable. Staff will not do justice to the otherwise typical Thai friendliness. Breakfast is moderate — but only OK. Pool and sea views are a bit of a replay. Hotel Restaurant can keep Ma confident even if "Eddie" is sure to try.

Booked rooms did not get.
Then a move would be confirmed in 2 days. All very tough and difficult. The upgrade for the first two days was a concrete fitting.

Exceptional hotel you have to go at least once in his life very nice chic and we reproached impeccable service.

Very secluded place. Great beach. A lot of sunbeds. A varied pool area with hydromassage.

Four stars to the hotel with amazing flowers, trees, view and rooms. The managers and ladies at the lobby lack experience: they don't know a thing about basic surroundings (when the Buddist Temple works etc). But the worst thing here is the catering. First of all breakfast. Basic and super boring (the chief has NO idea how to cook simple omelet: he just makes scrumbled eggs in the shape of omelet and it tastes just like scrumbled, ohhhhh! ). But guys I was so surprised in the first morning when I realized there are two separate breakfast areas: for VIP (who stayed in pool villas and somewhere I don't remember) and for others (not so fancy). And can you imagine that if you are not VIP you can still see VIPs eating & drinking sparkling wine in front of you, you see how they are treated, the napkin on their table, glass of champagne and so on. I understand that they payed more for the room. But when it is right infront of me while I am enjoying my breakfast that's sooooo odd. I am from Russia, living in the Netherlands. Most guests are from Switzerland (so Europien) and this situation with breakfast looks more like russian, not equal, not fair. The hotel makes me feel like: oh, ok, I don't deserve cause I didn't pay so much. Funny and we made a lot of jokes about that. But it isn't wise and it doesn't add points to the hotel.

My dream hotel at Khao Lak. Great and quiet beach. Large and the comfortable rooms {small villa}. Very good service. Pure relaxation.

Very nice facility. Something getting used to is an all-inclusive system with money balances to spend, but there is enough credit to eat and drink normally. The bungalows are huge, the beach always clean and maintained and the staff friendly and helpful.

The beyond resort is a very nice and quiet hotel complex. Right to relax and relax. The whole complex is and is lovingly cared for and cared for on a daily basis. The staffs are loving and very accommodating. Very endeavores to fulfill the wishes of all to your satisfaction. The rooms are always clean and the care items as well as tea, coffee are restocked daily. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. We feel right all around that we call this beyond our second home. We enjoy every day anew. And certainly won't have been here the last time yet.

Had a very relaxing holiday, lovely place friendly staff. Enjoyed my breakfast, so much variety. Had some dinners and drinks included in my package which was great and found a nice place along the beach to enjoy on some other nights.

Excellent resort staff very obliging fantastic views, rooms are excellent, shops close by, peaceful and it what you needneed for a great Holiday.

We stayed at this beautiful resort for 16 days and could not fault anything. This adults only resort really knows how to pamper and please. It was during the wet season so of course we had occasional rain which didnt worry us at all. Staff could not do enough for us to make our stay memorable. The room was always cleaned promptly and efficiently and restaurant staff ready to please. Reception very helpful and always friendly and smiling. We also ate at the little beach restaurants, Sunrise and Krua Thai — the ricketty bridge was a challenge but fun! Elicious which is out the front of the resort and just to the right on the river served beautiful food and thoroughly recommend the sea bass or snapper with garlic, chilli and hot basil. Thank you especially Alma and Eddie at Beyond who know what good service is and how to provide it. A very special mention to Alec who showed that nothing was a problem and was always ready to assist with a smile and lastly our warmest thanks to Robert. Love to return. Jill (Stephanie) and Bede.

Good relaxing holiday destination with great pool. Only a few local restaurants in walking distance but very authentic and delicious thai. Resort is missing activities and good food, but apart from that very relaxing resort.

Faultless place. Great staff, nice food, incredible beach and the warmest sea I have ever been in.

Got an amazing deal thru luxury escapes and wondered if Beyond could live up to my expectations… well WAY BEYOND — huge premier villa adjacent to the pool complex, adjacent to the beach! Pinocoladed and daiquirid out! Everything you need to chill out or be active — and all the staff happy to help. For people who say it is "isolated" — crazy! Just walk along the beach and discover bars, restaurants, book the shuttle, book the tours, use your imagination! Loved it❤️

Beautiful resort, helpful friendly staff. Great food and cocktails. Big rooms huge bed, tour desk operator. Wonderful spa/massage centre. Gym with good equipment. Walk to other beachfront restaurants, massage and nail salon. Walking out front gate to other restaurants mini marts. A lovely waterfall 5km away and a restaurant where you can dine in the river about 2km away.

We were in the jan. 2015. Just top here. It is a pity that the water is not as clear as in the Caribbean and it was full of shells/stones. Therefore bathing shoes take with you ☺☺

Second go at this! I lost the first review it just dropped out. Loved it. We had concerns over how good it would be, You know if it sounds too good to be true etc etc, Well it was Fabulous! From the people working the reception, in the kitchens, gardens, pool, resturants, bars, spa and the lovely lady who looked after villa 1508, congratulations you all do a above & BEYOUND! We came home brown, well feed, cocktailed and Chang beered out and happy. Thats all you can ask for. We highly recomend Luxury Holidays and Beyond Resort. Khaolak is a little treasure, lets hope it doesn't change from how it is now. But unfortunately because of tourist (us) it will. So spend spend and spend more (at their prices) with the locals so they get something out of it. Thanks to all at Beyond.

The food in the beach bar is absolutely to recommend! Especially the Thai BBQ is a beautiful thing.

We had an awesome time at this resort, great amenities, friendly staff, magnificent pools & right on the beach. Highly recommended.

This place is a dream, huge air conditioned rooms, every room has it's own veranda and the staff try so hard to please. This is our second visit and it has not disappointed us. Only thing that will stop me coming back is the 8, 000 kilometers between here and home.

Very good hotel on the beach of Khao Lak. OK, bit small room with many villas on it and not exactly cheap, not everyone in the service can properly English and unfortunately, there are too many Germans with their special annoying habits (includes couch booking and also lack knowledge of English) — but the service is good and it's all as it should without the fractures often to see, also, the villas are very well equipped and clean. Very good now free Wi-Fi to the beach (! ).
Very excellent Spa at fair prices.
