Aside from fabulous facilities and well-designed villa. We are more than impressed with amazing service from the hotel staffs, from the driver to our Ton Hong and others. They were friendly yet knew exactly how to response to our requirement to make our stay the most memorable one. Simply, can’t ask for more.

Everything was good until my son got a long and deep scratched from a screw in hotel swimming pool. Although staff fixed it immediately after found out and we was sent to a hospital with a hotel staff to support, it still ruined the rest of our vacay mood. We must also go back to clean the wound at hospital on daily basis for the rest of our trip… Just feel that this shouldn't happened.

We have stayed at many Ritz-Carlton properties around the world, especially in Asia, but this one is in a class of its own.
Outstanding resort — both indoors and out, fabulous food (the Chef even prepared Thai dishes for me without shrimp paste, fish base or oyster sauce due to allergies — without being asked! ) and EXTRAORDINARY service from all staff members — truly extraordinary. Our butler, Tang, was a delight as were the breakfast staff and Chef as were the pool staff and the room service staff. Housekeeping was tremendous — no detail was left unattended.
My sincere thanks to all — we shall return.

Stayed in a one bedroom apartment Villa. Very nice resort, quiet and quaint. Humongous bed that's bigger than king size. Nice view from the resort. Service staff are very friendly. Location is a bit far from the main touristy area. Might be worth to rent a car as rental is cheap and parking is aplenty in the resort.

Absolutely magical place. Amazing villa. Staff, all of them, were incredible. Our butler, Patty, was a star. Food is great. Pool is great. Go to Hong island at least one of the days. Drinks are great. Was very hard to leave this place.

Great staff, facilities and food! The sunset is really beautiful. The whole resort looked very gorgeous and unique. I had booked two nights but I extended one more night during stay because I was extreamly satisfied with the resort. I had dinner at Thai restaurant. It was loud because there was someone watching video without earphones. Except that everything was so perfect. Food was perfect and I felt I was in a paradise. If any chance, I would like to visit this resort definitely.

Went here with 4 people just to enjoy the sun and pool. Also had a lunch here. Since we did not have a room, it was possible to use their facilities at a fixed price rate. Which were 2 huge beds to lay on, towels, infinity pool and shower. Very friendly staff.

Awesome place in a tropical place, They rightly call it a reserve, there is so much done to give back to nature, which is claimed In building this wonderful and tranquil place. The experience from the time you check in, will make you feel you have arrived, let me not spoil by dwelling in, just a bit further the accommodation for loss of words, is fabulous you will feel as a royalty.

Unfriendly and uncaring staff. Pretentious and inauthentic. food miserable. Long black hair found in salat at breakfast buffet. balconies dangerous for children. big fat cocerage running around in the bathroom. any 2 or 3 star resort in Thailand would be more friendly and welcoming. big disappointment.

For such a stunning resort they get a few key things wrong that ruined our stay and resulted in us leaving with a bitter taste in our mouths and a much lighter wallet. Positives Stunning resort surrounded by beautiful gardens and running streams. Upgraded us on arrival to a villa with plunge pool — turned out to be a curse but lovely gesture from hotel at the time Pool is one of the best we have experienced with beautiful views over the Andaman sea, swim up bar and comfy beds and cabanas Huge luxurious rooms with everything you could need and more. We stayed in both a villa and a pavilion and both were stunning and had huge comfy beds. Apart from at breakfast the hotel never seemed busy even though they were running at near 100% capacity. Wonderful breakfast with everything from noodles to omelettes to French toast Staff couldn’t be more attentive and polite. Negatives Big gaps between outside room doors meant noisy lizards and other insects can come and go as they please at night and we were kept up for 2 nights until we moved rooms by two very noisy lizards. We were left exhausted and unable to relax and enjoy the hotel with most of the next days wasted sleeping. Why they don’t have normal sealed doors is just a mystery?! Food poisoning from hotel ruined the last couple of days for my wife and meant that a 3rd night was spent with little to no sleep and again unable to enjoy the hotel with her being bed bound.

Idellic peaceful setting. Service oriented property. Had a wonderful time. We even got a upgraded villa with a private pool with an ocean view. Taking one point off for the staff not disclosing that the hats and beach bag provided was for use only during the stay. Was told about it after checked out which caused last minute shuffling of luggage already packed. This could have easily been avoided by attaching a tag/label clearly stating that for guest use during stay — Available for Purchase. Second, would not have used the beach hats had we known that they were probably used by previous guests. Other than that a fabulous place to stay and relax.

Simply put, our stay at phulay bay was one of the best my wife and I have ever had. While the weather wasn't perfect, they did everything they could to make our stay more than 5 star. Our "butler" patty was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Thailand. She was sweet, funny and on top of EVERYTHING. The food was next level for breakfast lunch and dinner, and our friend Aek made fantastic drinks at the bar.

The limited edition luxury holiday destination with a reserve propety which is soo in tune with nature and the spectacular candles in their main entrance in the evening is breathtaking.

Best place to stay while visiting Krabi. Massive pool villa. Very attentive staff and service. The main pool is also very big with views of the nearby islands. Great spa facilities, love the hydro pool. Fantastic dinner at the Thai restaurant. Poolside bar also served great food.

Everything here is awesome. Had no idea what this place was about other than the pictures. When I got there and all I can say is this place blew my mind away. Great service, super friendly, and they go above and beyond to make sure your stay is great one.

This place is absolutely amazing. Much like everyone else has said, it's a gorgeous resort, amazing views, the rooms are absolutely stunning and oh-so comfortable, and the service is exceptional. I want to talk about the food, though, because that all by itself is a reason I will most definitely come back here. I have a gluten allergy so traveling is always tricky. I never expect a ton of options. However, at Phulay Bay I got to eat everything — and then some. The buffet they offer for breakfast is insanely gigantic. You have smoothies and pastries and omelettes and meat and cheese and salads and fish and rice and… it doesn't end. And for me, with my allergy, there's a gluten free pastry section available every day! But on top of that, the pastry chef made me special gluten free goodies every morning for breakfast. He was so sweet and would come out with this gigantic plate of muffins and pancakes and insanely good mini croissants. You can't ask for better service or food, you really can't. This place is one of a kind. I should also add how much privacy you have here. The resort is so big, you almost never see anyone, which means you never have to fight for space at the pool or anything, for that matter. It kind of feels like you have your own private resort. It's amazing, just go. You won't regret it.

I cannot recommend this beautiful place enough. Spectacular location and sunsets, very friendly and attentive management team with staff who go above and beyond to make your stay special. Nothing is too much trouble. We spent 5 nights here in April and stayed in a Reserve Pool Villa with sea view, which had our own butler… we didn't want to leave! We have stayed in some top hotels over the years, but I have to say none of them even come close to this secluded paradise. By far the most luxurious, peaceful place we have ever been to. Thank you Phulay Bay team for making our holiday so wonderful, we will be back!

I wish words could describe just what an amazing place this is. It's nothing like anywhere you've ever been. The staff are the most courteous, compassionate, and caring humans you've ever met. The grounds and location is like something from another world. The staff, aware that we came for our honeymoon, made every effort possible to give us the best experience two honeymooners could ask for. The letter we wrote them should provide an understanding of how much we appreciated this place (in the attached images). The other photos do no justice.

This hotel is absolute paradise and very private. The villas are beautiful, very clean and quiet. The restaurants serve a wide range of food including Thai and we enjoyed all our meals. The beach and pools are very nice to. We enjoyed having some drinks at the beachside bar. All the staff are very friendly and polite. This hotel may be expensive but that is what it costs to have this kind of service. Stayed April 2015.

The hotel is very nice and friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Super King-size was an impressive bed. Bravo! It's not a new hotel, but it's completely unnoticeable. The breakfast offers gluten positions. Special thanks-Lillian for his responsiveness. Back!

The room and the hotel were very nice. I'm not sure we were just unlucky or not, but our butler was terrible. She was unkind and never gave us useful information. We think we waste our time and money. I complained about her while we stayed and when we checked out. But never get any responses from anyone.

My wife and I came here a few years ago and I have to say it was essentially paradise. The staff were so friendly and the rooms were great. We had Haze as the guy taking care of us and we couldn't say anything better about him, he was a genuinely a nice person.

It's such a nice place to stay. The interior is beautiful. Staffs are friendly and service mind. The food is unbelievable delicious. This place is really great if you would like to have such a nice relaxing holiday.

From the minute we approached the front area, we knew that this was going to be a very special place. There isn't a front desk area. Instead you enter a grand entrance pavilion, where you are greeted by your personal butler with refreshing washcloths and lemongrass iced tea. The room that we stayed in had a wondrous "giant" feel to it. The tall walls, lamps and doors give a sense that you're a child of the Arabian Nights. Although there are a number of dining venues on the property, we dined at the Thai restaurant. I was equally shocked and delighted by the creations of Executive Chef Alex Gares! He captured the essence of Thai spirit and flavors through his cooking. The service has been nothing short of outstanding! There are non-motorized equipment on property. We took the Long boat (courtesy of the property) to Hong Island and spent time snorkeling in its' crystal clear waters. The Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Phulay Bay is located approximately 45 minutes from Krabi airport. Take the journey. Feel the relaxation and adventure; you will not regret the decision. Enjoy!
