Me and my partner have just moved onto our second hotel after 9 days in the most beautiful place ever. This was our first ever time coming to Thailand and all staff made us feel so so so welcomed and at ease. The rooms were always so clean, the food was absolutely amazing in the hotel, the swimming pool was great also.
Poonsiri was that amazing that me and my partner was supposed to go to Phi Phi after the 6th day but decided to stay at Poonsiri for an extra three days and it was so worth it.
All the staff was so helpful, amazing and so kind. We honestly could not have chosen a better hotel to stay at for the first week of being in this beautiful country!
We will definitely be returning in the future. One last thing … a special shout out to Hasun, he was ace with both of us and so so funny! Thank you for such an amazing stay. ❤️

Activities and the beauty of the lake and Mountain side It's just stunning.

We stayed in the superior room. This is a cosy resort with beautiful views of the hotel lagoon from all bedrooms. They let you canoe in the hotel lagoon which made our stay fun (it being a new experience for us) The only problem we had were the creepy crawlies that were living with us in our room. We found a very big spider, big red ants, big flies and a lot of lizards. I guess this problem is because of the setup in a lagoon and dense trees around the rooms and hotel.

Excellent accommodation for a holiday in Krabi. All the rooms having a sit out over viewing the lake. Cannoing facility is available with many cannoes. A lovely swimming pool. Open air restaurant over looking the swimming pool. Lively music near the swimming pool. Very efficient room service. Enjoyed the stay here.

This resort is in the heart of nature. A perfect place for complete relaxation.

Magical place loved our stay here. The staff were so helpful — nothing was too much trouble. If you want somewhere to chill and relax then I would thoroughly recommend Poonsiri. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so memorable. Food was great especially the Panang curry. Would recommend it to you all.

Pathetic, unprofessional, worse place to be in. The staff is so rude and uncooperative. Never will recommend this place to anyone. Full wastage of money. The room kettles were burnt from inside, even after so many complaints no replacement so basic necessities were also missing. A big thumbs down for this property.

Very nice and quiet resort along the river. Each room comes with a large balcony overlooking a small lagoon. Service is prompt and helpful. Food is ok at this price. Pool comes in two depths, 2.1m deep, and another for kids. Water quality is not great, so for those who are picky, this may be an issue. Well known long time resort in the area, so no problem with instructing tuk tuks to send u there from any aonang dinner place. Overall I'm satisfied with the stay :)

Beautiful place & Must stay place if you're planning to visit Krabi, perfect place to relax and chill, away from city town area and far from all the possible noises that may disturb you. Resort provides all the facilities like Transfer/Pickup from Airport, Ferry service to Aaonang Beach area, easy booking for day trips and other activities. Food and services are exceptionally good. Even if you have plan to stay at resort for whole day, you have plenty of option to chill out e. G. Swimming pool, Sport room, Gym, Kayaking. Highly recommend!

Nice hotel, lovely villas on top of the lake, close to the hills. Good energy. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Showers are great, strong very relaxing after a full day of activities. Staff service could be better, a bit slow. Everybody super friendly. Food is ok. Swimming pool is nice.

Visited this place with a group of 10 pepole the location is awesome and rooms are good. We booked 2 family rooms and one superior room but we're upgraded to a 3 bedroom house and and 2 bedroom Vila. It has a large water body and nice pool which is risky as it has steep steps, be cautious during Dark hours. Service is big letdown to this place it's pathetic to be precise. They don't replenish buffet on time, some times you might have to wait for quiet long for dishes. Overall if they improve services this place has lot of potential with nice serenic views.

The place is beautiful and quiet, the pool and the lake are very beautiful, but sadly tarnished by the aging of the bungalow and the restaurant not at the height of the place… the sheets are not changing every day, the minibar are not filled also despite A request at the reception 2 days ago, the linens (towels and sheets) are stained and the bungalow (at least ours) is ageing (humidity spot, damaged couch) etc… Pity it would have deserved a 5 stars without these little problems.

There's lots of things to do inside the resort, even if it is not huge, kayaking is great, biking is ok, table tennis is ok, feeding the fish fun, but what you want is the pool. It is 2, 1 m deep, and spacious compared to other resorts. After you are tiredof swimming, you can relax by the pool in a very comfortable gazebo, or just enjoy the beautiful gardens all around the resort. There's almost no space where you look and see something that is not picture worthy. Plants, trees, flowers, stone path, bridges, even the trails are great looking, and overall a great design job. But what will be more eye catching is seeing the rooms (or houses) be above the lake. And not to miss the river or the fitness room, those are good views to see during the day mostly. Or use, in the case of the fitness room.

One of the best resort for leisure. Place is really calm & nice Can take a free bicycle ride (within the premises) beautiful swimming pool facing mountain, kayaking is also available. Best view from gallery with lake facing bedroom. I really enjoyed my stay for 2 night. Breakfast : chicken fried rice, omlet, sausage, fruit bowl, bread jam, French toast, muffins orange juice. Etc. Wi-Fi and TV connectivity is slightly a problem, walking towards beach is approx 4 to 5 km which could be tiring.

Towels by the pool can only be obtained from 11am. Breakfast staff must always ask to fill in. Plant dreamily beautiful. Pool very nice but too few umbrellas. Eating differently, sometimes well and sometimes not.

This was a very beautiful place to stay. The staff was wonderful and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect place for rest. Far from bars and entertainment. 5 stars if they had shuttles to ao nang at night.

Beautiful setting and fun accommodation on the lagoon. The staff were very polite but seemed under pressure to charge for everything immediately. We experienced a more understated approach in other hotels which led to a more relaxed atmosphere. This was counter productive as we might have spent more if we weren't settling our bill every 5 minutes. We were even charged 20b for a local phone call. Wi-Fi was very good at reception but very poor in the rooms.

Poonsiri is a good hotel. It has private lake where you can do the Kayak activity. It also has swimmingpool. And a restaurant. Floating cottages are clean and specious, it also has an outdoor sitting facing the lake.

Very nice little resort located in a very peaceful area close to the river. The rooms are surrounded on a little lagoon. Each bungalow has its private space and with a terrace. The breakfast was very good and everyone should find something for breakfast. The message center located at the entrance of the resort is really good and you will get a fantastic massage there. Even if you pay 50 Bath more than in the Saloons on the beach it is worth it because the massage saloon is very clean and comfortable. Visiting the resort you have to enjoy a massage.

Amazing view. Very nice and clean rooms. The staff is SO kind and helpful. The pool is small but very clean and nice. The shuttlebus from the hotel makes it easy to go to Ao Nang (a 5 minut drive) I would recommend this hotel. Should have 4 stars.

Nice big houses, perfect place to rest, very nice swimming pool.

Peaceful resort away from the beach with lovely mountain views. You need your own transport or need to rely on the hotel for transfers to the beach. There are bicycles available. The breakfast was great and the meals are reasonably priced for a hotel. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Large bathroom with WC, shower, basin and hot water. Staff were friendly and assisted where needed. If you do not need to be on a beach this resort is recommended.

No flexibility" Don't book your room in advance like me. There was a cancellation of a flight due to the flood and bad weather which occured in the south. I paid a full amount already. I never ask for a refund but ask that is it possible to postpone my stay. But the resort kept telling me repeatedly no refund and said "did I read the resort policy? " Cut the story short this resort said no refund and no postpone. And this is the reason why I gave them 1 star. So you should be more flexibility in your policy. Avatar Railay hotel understood the problem and refund me full amount which was a 3stars hotel.

I will be their host from January 31 I hope to stay well from the pictures looks very nice and I hope it is not dangerous for children (there are snakes or crocodiles in the lagoon? ) let's hope not! See you soon!

Nice resort, but kind of far away from the main part of town/the beach.

Beautiful Hotel with lovely big well appointed rooms with stunning views. The pool is great and the lagoon beautiful. The staff are really lovely and very friendly. A really good breakfast and tasty meals served in the restaurant. Free shuttle to the beach where there are numerous restaurants, shops, pubs and spas. Pity that the river next to the property is a bit dirty but everything else is absolutely wonderful.
