Wonderful place, lovely atmosphere, friendly & happy staff and what’s the most important THE BEST FOOD… honestly. The best on the island Koh Tao. For one week I was eating everyday Green Thai carry & Ginger Chicken. I could stick to these until end of my life. Big portions and the taste is like heaven — full of aroma and loads with veggies. They have also the best view for the bay. From the restaurant you can see beautiful turquoise sea and very very peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend this place. Well deserved 5 stars. Will be back for sure.

Great location, quite steep on the hillside, great bay, but no beach to lie on. Great for snorkeling have also seen a shark. Unfortunately dead reef and many sea cucumbers. Staff is incredibly friendly and the food tastes very good. Walking distance (10 minutes) restaurants and ATM.

The staff is absolutely phenomenal. They are incredibly helpful and very accommodating. The facilities are nice and the views are gorgeous. I would recommend using a stair master beforehand to get use to the climb, but overall it was an amazing experience. We would love to stay here again.

There is a good view for seeing sunrise here. Beautiful seascape. Chill out there is the best. Small beach likes private. Very impressive!

We absolutely loved this place. We had seaview air conditioning room. We had a full view of the water. Unfortunately it was stormy 2 of the 3 days we were there. Absolutely not the resorts fault! what made our stay here so much better was the covered deck! We would sit out playing cards covered from the rain and listen to the waves crash against the 3 big boulders and the shore right in front of our bungalow! Our trip to Thailand was about a month long and we covered most of the country. This resort was in our opinion the best place we stayed at! There was quite a few stairs up the the main lobby but that did not bother us at all. But we warned if your disabled or elderly this might be a challenge. The do have rooms closer to the top. Mr. Chen and his staff were completely amazing. They made sure any request was taken care of. They even supplied us with playing cards (very Hard to find in Thailand if you forget yours at home) Must have for this island is a scooter. Very easy to get around the island with not as much traffic as anywhere else in Thailand. To us this will be our must come stay point when we return to Thailand. We loved the charm and the snorkeling of this island. Taatoh seaview resort just made our stay just so much better. I could keep going and going about how much we loved it here but you will just have to take my word for it! Thanks again Mr. Chen and your staff for making our stay one of the best in Thailand. Until we meet again!

Love the place, staff very friendly and great place for snorkeling.

Friendly staff, lovingly furnished bungalows and direct access to the Sharkbay. The Sharkbay, however, refers to the bay, not to the beach, which belongs to the Haad Tieb. With a little climbing work you can go to the sandy beach. For snorkeling, the ascent here is perfect and due to the upwind it is not as humid and warm as in the west of the island.

Despite the opinions and the first impression. A real treat. Staff with extraordinary top views. Certainly the taking stairs and typical rooms… but for me and my friends, a pleasure and a dream. I'll definitely go back.

Stunning views from the room! Very nice!

First impression is a large lobby connected to the dining area all with a great view of Sharks Bay. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Restaurant menu has many selections. They provide a simple breakfast for free with the option of ordering from their bigger menu. Getting to the room and the small beach, you take stairs. It can be tiring but is a good work out, so if mobility is an issue, you may want to choose a resort that has more flat land. They have snorkeling gear which you will want to utilize and swim out nearly 100 yards where you can see the huge turtle and some sharks. There are also small fish closer to shore. tl;dr. Great views, helpful staff, on a hillside.

Thanks for the excellent hospitality and the familiar atmosphere it’s just absolutely fabulous. This 1 week, was absolutely unforgettable on the island, and in the hotel as well. We not gonna forget the time what we spend here and in the hotel. We will recommend the hotel for my friends. Nice villas, according to the price, and on the Shark bay. Good choice if you want to spend hours snorkeling near your room.

Very friendly staff. Amazing view from the seaview bungalows on Sharkbay. Good breakfast included. The price was ok. We loved our stay.

We stayed for 3 nights and had the most wonderful time. We decided to treat ourselves and taatoh seaview did not disappoint. The huts were clean, tastefully decorated and with beautiful views of shark bay. We pretty much did everything through the hotel as they were so helpful and their prices competitive. Laundry, bike hire, fishing boat trip and even our onward route. The staff were friendly and helpful and the place had a homely vibe. The food was delicious and portions generous. With the view you can hardly complain. This is a beautiful peaceful resort, go into town if you want a party go into town and use this as a bit of tranquility. A gin and tonic or two on your balcony is about as reckless as it gets :) well worth the money we paid.

We stayed 3 nights. The staff are extraordinary friendly and helpful, especially the waiter Inn. The bungalows are okay and are being cleaned every two days. The breakfast and food in general was not that good. Chalok is in walking distance and there is a direct sea access from the resort. Biggest +: Staff and amazing views. Biggest — : The prices are with 70 Euros per night too high for what you get.

View from this hotel is amazing! We had two large comfortable bedrooms and very nice balcony. Beds are a little hard just as all beds in Thailand seem to be. If you order food, which is of amazing taste, just order 1 portion each as the sizes are large and you would probably just order too much.
