Its a very basic hotel with a very polite and accommodating receptionist. The rooms are modern and clean for the price you are paying. It's near everything on Sairee and they can book other services and trips for you. If you want a relaxing time don't book here, if you want to party it's awesome.

Loved it! Staff are great, well located for bars, cafes, shops and beach. We ended up staying here for 2 weeks — it was just so clean and comfy and convenient. Would definitely recommend it.

This hotel resort was pretty cool. You can learn how to dive at their diving school. This is pretty much the same with most resorts on Ko Tao. It wasn't too expensive and the instructors are a lot of fun. The room itself was clean-ish. It's not going to be clean by any American Standard of a 4 star hotel, but you're also paying a fraction of the cost in Thailand. The staff was very nice and check in and out very convenient. It was a very memorable vacation and enjoyed staying at this resort.

Horrible and rude staff. Had booked the 6am ferry to go to Phi Phi Island, reception staff had said that a taxi would pick us up at 5.20am, which never showed up. There was no reception staff available until after 8.30am and were rude and laughed at us when we had said that we have now missed out on our accommodation at Phi Phi Island. Staff were unhelpful and rude. Rooms were not serviced daily so we didnt have fresh towels or toilet paper. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Unfortunately they lied and fooled us to pay 3500 thb per night for a room that cost 1500 when we wanted to move further away from the bar-street (they promised us that a room up in the jungle was same price as a deluxe room). So we payed extra for a room that no one came to clean, that had ants everywhere (in the bed, in our bags and even even inside my computer! ), no promised facilities such as toiletpaper, not a phone to call the reception or a functional fridge. We didn't have a private balcony (shared it with the staff living next door). When we asked to get our room cleaned they told us to come back the next day. Since everything was so bad we started to suspect the price we were paying and looked it up, both on internet and by asking some other guests and staff. We felt really naive when we found out that they fooled us to pay more than the double price for the room! We did get some of the money back when we talked to the manager but we didn't even get an apologize. And anyway, on top of that, they charged us for a refresher course that we did to be able to do some fun dives, though they wouldn't let us to dive because they couldn't find us in the system. Crystal Divers found us so we did the refresher and fun dives with them instead which was awesome. We still love Koh Tao! Too bad that we decided to stay at Ban's and had such a bad experience…

Luxury Rooms are very bright and confortable. The public pools are dedicated mostly to train divers in closed waters so don't expect to find pools to relax. Breakfast is amazingly good, avaiable all kinds of food and fruit, strongly reccomend to pick it with the reservation. It's recommended to book directly with the hotel in order to avoid the commisions of the intermediaries. The diving courses are very complete and the trainers are very friendly.

Restaurant review: food was delicious for dinner and reasonable price for two people. There are so many options for food drinks and dessert. My only complaint is the customer service which I understand is slow in Thailand but I expected a bit more from a resort restaurant during non busy times. Overall would recommend for a nice dinner with ocean view.

We took the open water diving course here which took 3 and a half days. The course itself was fantastic with great instructors (Elad and Keith where ours) and an unforgettable experience overall. However, as part of the package deal they gave us as they like to call it "basic fan rooms". These rooms are in pretty bad shape, smell terribly and have no hot water. To sum it up great course, terrible rooms and probally best to upgrade them to better rooms which start at 700baht per night.

Very very well. A hotel made for divers. My wife spent its open water. Several types of room: 1. Free room passing a review of padi. 2 deluxe room by adding a supplement. 3 Poolvilla by adding a good supplement.
Expensive but nice view. Sunset… 3 pools, so always a possibility to bathe when a pool is occupied by divers.
International diving instructors: special dedication for Hailey. ;)

Best first diving experience took place here at Bans Diving Resort! I completed my OW and AOW here at Bans and will continue to come back in the holidays! A very fun and enjoyable experience. Accommodation was included in the diving course and if you stayed at the dorms provided, theres air con and you'll get to meet so much people from all over the world!

Excellent staff of instructors all very good wave! The bar, the food, everything is very good!

Super nice Resort, very nice and a good instructor, and also take care of problem cases, small groups of divers with 2 diving instructor + Divemaster and around 6 students, highly recommended.
