Review of Assava Dive Resort - SHA Plus 3*

Well. After several times in Koh Tao, I can't understand how I couldn't discover this gem before. I have friends working in other dive centers and I'm really sorry for them because I will not go back the next visits to this island. The best location in Koh Tao, with all the facilities you need. The restaurant in the resort is really good, great vibe in a chilling atmosphere, eating in the beach, so quiet listening the waves of the sea, is totally priceless. The restaurants 2 minutes walking from the resort are also great if you want something different. A 7 eleven 3 minutes walking (with the best roti just at the main door) plus the best clinic in the Island (I hope you don't need it but I did and great service) … Shark bay 10 minutes walking… The room included in the Open Water Diving course is more than enough, with a well preserved garden just in front and 1 minute walking from the beach. The staff is wonderful, great management. The dive center has good equipment and the best views ever. I can't believe the bad ratings. I guess this people are sad or they don't understand that this is Asia and we are in the jungle. After traveling around Asia more than 7 years ago and living in Thailand almost 2, just to say that to book a diving pack here is ev+ Kelly, the instructor is great, she could make my friend to love the sea. I didn't expected it for several reasons and after the first divings in open waters, she came extremely happy and excited for the experience. Mission accomplished =) Really, if you check my reviews in TripAdvisor, Facebook, Google… You will see I'm very exigent. So I'm just writing what this team deserves. The only "but" is to take the boat in Bans crazyness, but well, the trip with the pick-up is refreshing and exciting! Long live to this resort, and, being selfish, my only concern is if this review could help to have the resort overbooked and don't have a place available for the next time : p.
