Thai House is a really chill, relaxing resort with a private access to Long Beach. The sunsets here are beautiful. Moonlight aka Fat Turtle serve up some delicious breakfast options in the morning, made with fresh ingredients. Get the coconut shake and coconut water. So refreshing. Kim, the owner, is super friendly, kind and helpful for guests. Unlike most resort owners, she makes herself available during most normal work hours at Reception. She makes the whole experience worthwhile. I contracted a terrible skin rash during my trip and she recommended a great local doctor to see (that was reasonably priced). She also provided snorkel gear, a beach mat, motorbike and helped make reservations for us.

I’ve spent 2 months here on 2 separate occasions — love these guys. The best people, beautiful sunsets and a fantastic beach bar. Forever one of my favorites.

You won't find better service with a smile for miles. Right on the best beach with shaded, clean rooms. Restaurant and small shop within 50 steps. Great for couples and families.

Near the Long Beach, behind the Moonwalk restaurant. The one bed bungalow for two with AC was online 2000bt but we got it for 1250bt. Nothing fancy but new and very clean (2000bt too much though). Scooter rental for 250-300bt. Near the main street. Ni on the desk was THE BEST! She was really helpful and had good english. She helped us with our snorkling tour and transportation to Krabi. The best service we got in Thailand.

This place is ALL you could ask for from a resort in Thailand… but without paying 7000 baht for the pleasure. Great place!

The place was lovely for a traditional Thai style bungalow. Tho the bed was as hard as a rock and the bats would eat the fruit from the tree above our roof, causing loud bangs that would startle us from sleep in the middle of the night. Ahhhh, nature.

You can pay 10000 baht at the bigger resorts but you won't get the same personal attention and friendliness from the staff and owners. Receptionist helped me jump start my car at 8 in the morning. Very accommodating.

Cabins are nice, we stayed in one of the traditional looking Thai houses. Staff was very friendly. Scooter rental and laundry service available on premises.

Great resort, 2 minute walk to the beach and close to 7/11, restaurants and bar's. Kim, Ni and Toe all very welcoming and helpful.

Kim and ni made so very comfortable. Carnt wait for the bar and dinning amenities to open wanted to be 1 guest but sadly leaving a day early. room very comfortable could do with a little lounge in my bungalow plenty room for one Kim hint hint. Great family friendly area with 7/11 at your doorstep. And Ni arranged a motor bike and boat trip for me. Nothing was any trouble for you 2 wonderful ladies thank you. You made my trip to ko lantra extremely comfortable for a girl from oz on her own.

The resort is poorly managed. And my shoes were stolen from my porch in the night.

This is the third time I have come here in five years. Thai House is situated on Phra-Ae or Long Beach which is a lovely spot. Run by the wonderful Kim who will always go above and beyond to accommodate you. She has wonderful staff who will remember your name and make you feel at home so much so that you will remember their names too, Nee and Om respectively! You can see that great effort has gone into the rooms which are spacey, comfortable and at a good price. You have so much choice of local restaurants nearby and amenities are plentiful. You will not be disappointed, I look forward to coming back in two years and would not go anywhere else.

Just had a fab holiday at this resort. Practically on the beach — set in lovely gardens — Great English speaking staff and Uk owned. Home comforts in a Thai setting. Re booked for March.

Really nice setup here. Leads right onto the beach, really friendly helpful staff, and a good bar with comfortable seating looking straight at the sunset. Have cheap and more expensive rooms available! Can't fault it.
