The overall atmosphere is very good. Next to the Ping River, peaceful and pleasant. There is a lovely garden for guests to take photos, check in, clean, spacious rooms, modern style, airy. Looks great, big screen TV. The food was delicious and the price was very reasonable.

Lovely views over the Ping river. Nice comfortable beds and accommodation. Friendly service. Highly recommend if visiting Kampaeng Phet.

My wife and I were greeted by a wonderfully gracious staff. The idyllic setting is peacefully located on the bank of the Mae Ping. The restaurant serves very tasty Thai and western dishes. For dinner it was Laab Duck, Jungle Curry chicken and stir fried seasonal vegetables with prawns All these dishes were meticulously prepared and served. The clean modern and comfortable rooms are spacious and separated from each other. This is a great place to stay for a night or a week.

The owner is the sweetest person you will ever meet. She personally took us to the market and to a Chinese restaurant for breakfast. It was a great experience! As for the hotel, it is located near the riverside which is pretty great. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything one needs. The food is very Thai and thus very delicious! One of the best experiences while in Thailand!

Recommended service, sensible price and the owner is so nice If you are lokking for the place where is not too far from town and good view here is the best choice for ypu.

Lovely time at Maeping Mango. Khun Kung and Khun David look after everything perfect! Wonderful Thai food with personal touch and style overlooking beautiful river in the evening. Room is very good and comfortable and resort is very easy to find on the way to Chiang Mai from Bangkok. We will always choose to stay here when we drive north. Highly recommend, with love!

The perfect hideaway on the serene Maeping river about halfway between Bangkok and Chiang Mai. In fact it's so serene I didn't hear anything at all for two days… splendid! The resort is immaculate and managed with love and a personal touch that only full-time owner-operators can bring. The resort ticks all the big boxes that one would expect but it's the little things that count. For example, the well-appointed rooms are large and hospitable and… have the perfect shower pressure and temperature! I was also pleased to see a fan option if, like me, you prefer to use aircon only when necessary. That's just two of the many thoughtful things done well that make a big difference and turn a 4-star into a 5-star review. A special mention to the owner-operators — David, a retired Managing Director and Editor at The Bangkok Post, and his wife Khun Kung, who have clearly found their true calling in life after successful careers elsewhere. David is storyteller-in-chief as the sun sets over the Maeping while Khun Kung lavishes fine attention to the excellent food (and everything else! ).
I strongly recommend Maeping Mango Riverside Resort for a sleepy few days away from the city. It's easily located about 4 hours' drive along a main artery from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, which also makes it an excellent stopover en route.

Rom was very good, but, the food, BBQ salmon was VERY bad, more like a soup. I ordered at this resort because I wanted good food. Breakfast was good.

A perfect launchpad to see the under-appreciated historical park in the town. This new resort features first world standard bungalows with beautifully designed facilities and decor. The restaurant is on the Ping River and boasts home cooked delicacies I have not seen before in 16 years of living in Thailand: try a jungle duck curry with lychees for one! Basically this place is an international standard resort in a location with little to match it. The Thai/Western owners have evidently distilled their experiences of the best of international hospitality into this place, with particular attention to the well trained staff.
