We were truly delighted to stay at the Riverie! This hotel provides exquisite attention to detail! Every aspect of this hotel was beautiful, we appreciated the Thai style Lanna decor and the breathtaking views from our room window, we had full view of the pool, mountains and big buddha! The room was very modern and spacious, the beds are extremely soft and comfortable! The food was a highlight! We highly recommend trying the authentic cantonese Dim sum, very delicious! There are 3 restaurants to choose from providing a wide variety of Thai and international cuisine! The breakfast was very delicious, Thai and western dishes and vegetarian options as well! What we valued the most was the friendly staff at each section of the hotel, from the pool to restaurants to lobby, each and every member greeted us and provided so much kindness and information we needed, we were always assisted and helped with any matter we had. Many staff members provided us with recommendations within the resort and things to do throughout Chiang Rai which we highly appreciated. The pool was stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere at this hotel. Perfect for families and couples! Overall we highly recommend this hotel for a luxury experience that has many facilities and enjoyable experiences at an amazing price. Truly value for money! We will be sure to return very soon! This resort was recommended to us and we can understand why!

The hotel alone makes chiang rai worth a visit. Sensational this hotel, spacious area, very clean, very clean and large rooms, great beds, very friendly and attentive staff, everything is just right with this hotel. Very delicious breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired. If you have something to complain about, you should stay at home, many thanks to all the staff, I'll be back.

Be careful! We stayed in the hostel for one night before moving to Laos. We weren't sure how we should cross the border in order to get to Luang Namtha. We asked the receptionist for help. She offered us a package for 1100 Tbh for each. The package was supposed to include a private trip in a van until the border. Than the van was allegedly supposed to wait for us and continune the drive to Luang Namtha. Trip was supposed to take 5 hours, that it what was promised at least. There was no private van or a van at all after the border, we were driven to a local bus station, which we could afford for less money. Also, the whloe trip took more than 8 hours. We were decived, be careful not to make the same mistake.

Should be called cheat house, not chat house. We arrived to Chiang Rai for one night because we wanted to move to Laos, we didn't really know how to do that so we asked the reception lady. She told us about a package that including a private minivan, that takes us directly to Luang Namtha (Laos). We heard before about people, who were deceived and paid for a private van and eventually got the local bus, so we asked her if she is sure it's a private van. She said it is. She also told us that the van will be waiting for us at the border to convince us it worth the money (1100 THB for each). She seems very nice and decent so we believed her and bought the tickets. When we arrived Laos there Wasn't minivan at all, we got a ride from the company to the local bus — exactly the opposite of what we paid for. When we tried to talk with the guesthouse, they said we didn't understand correctly. They insisted that they said its a drive by local bus, that was a lie! The lady knows English very well, so there wasn't any place for confusion. We hope no one will be deceived in this guesthouse anymore. Have a good trip!

The rooms are simple, comfortable and clean! The price is very affordable (about 450thb a night). Maew and her team are so nice and very professional! They speaks very good English! They will do everything to have you spend a wonderful stay! ❤️ The food at the restaurant is tasty and they offer a decent variety of local dishes‍! More important is that they present you the menu to help you to take the best decision according to your tastes! Prices are very decent! My favorite are the Chiang rai sausages! I came with my relatives (1 adult and 2 children) and we selected a special menu with northern specialties to share for only 180 thb per person — it was so good and a bit too much in quantity I highly recommend this place!

Rooms are fabulous for that price, kitchen is great even if the price is a little high for Thailand. Though quality does come at a price.

Good location, small price, not bad location. The tour at 1000 baths The day is very nice, it is not very far from the night bazaar and especially the clock tower.

Great staff, hidden gem, next door to Wat Phra Keaw. Great garden and chill space. Great onsite restaurant.

I came here the second time with a friend. After the first night the manager recommend me to go to a hot spring place up in the hills. The drive up was full of beautiful scenery but the hot spring was a little rundown. I went for a swim in the big pool and got a cut on my foot. That was pretty bad due to having to walk a lot while you are traveling. The manager of Chat House saw me limping off of the rental scooter and ask if I dropped the bike. After she heard my story she got some iodine and bandages for my wound. That was a nice gesture.
